Lindsay Lohan doubled down on what we'd already heard -- that her apparent dig at Cody Simpson and Miley Cyrus was much ado about nothing ... and nothing more than jest.

We got LiLo out Friday in NYC where we asked her to clarify her since-deleted Instagram post that seemed to shade both Miley and Cody ... in which she implied Cody had "failed" and "settle[d] for less" by dumping her sister, Aliana, to be with Miley.

Lindsay also said that he may have won 'The Masked Singer,' but had lost at life. She quickly took down the post after putting it up, but it had gotten screenshot and spread around.

The 'Masked Singer' jab stems from her time as a judge on the Australian version of the show, when she called him out for left-behind furniture she'd bought him, and wanted back.

Hitting the point home, she said ... "If it is you, we have a lot to talk about, and this is not the arena for it. I want my furniture back! Because I bought your furniture for your house in Venice!" While jokey, Lindsay also sounded somewhat serious about her demand.

Well ... we'd spoken with sources close to Lindsay, who told us she was only kidding around and that her IG post was merely an inside joke. She confirmed that with us here on camera, saying it was, in fact, a joke ... and that she loves Miley and thinks Cody's a great guy.

Kanye West predicts he'll one day be the President of the United States, and when he is ... he'll remember the haters.

In an interview with Apple's Zane Lowe, Kanye chatted about a wide range of topics ... stemming from the upcoming release of his new album, "Jesus is King."

Most notably, Ye says he's working on a plan for a future presidential run -- possibly in 2024 -- and when he wins the election ... "I will remember ... any founder that didn't have the capacity to understand culturally what we're doing."

It's unclear what founders specifically he has in mind, but he did mention Twitter and Facebook honchos, Jack Dorsey and Mark Zuckerberg.

Other subjects Kanye is discussing include ...

Pornography -- Ye says he used to be addicted to porn, and "Playboy was my gateway into full-on pornography addiction," adding ... "it has impacted every choice I have made in my life from age 5 to now." He says he's now kicked the addiction.

Social media -- Kanye says people are addicted to it ... it's the modern-day cigarettes. He also goes off on Instagram models and NSFW content being easily available to kids.

Premarital sex -- West tells Lowe he asked people he was collaborating with on the new album to abstain from doing it. He adds that he also asked people who were working with him to fast and pray together.

Religion -- He says it's not his desire to convert people through his music, but his only mission and calling it to spread the gospel.

Donald Trump -- He says he's a black Trump supporter, but it's not a fight when he puts a MAGA hat on ... it's simply his opinion, and he's not going to stop expressing his opinion.

His legacy -- Kanye says, "I am unquestionably, undoubtedly the greatest human artist of all time. It's just a fact."

Billie Eilish is one major step closer to being reunited with the ring she believed was "stolen" at Austin City Limits ... because a concertgoer says she's turned it over to event staff.

Here's the deal ... Billie was performing at ACL earlier this month when she came down off the stage and started hugging and singing with fans. But, at the end of the song she ran back onstage and told the crowd, "Somebody stole my f**king ring!!!"

Now, a video circulating on social media shows a woman asking security to pick up the ring off the ground and hand it over to her ... which he did.

We spoke to the woman in the video, and she acknowledges the footage looks shady -- as if she did pocket the teen singer's ring -- but she claims she simply took a picture with it and then turned it over to an ACL staffer. She says she hoped it would be returned to Eilish.

As it turns out, Billie's missing ring isn't super expensive bling ... it's actually costume jewelry from Adina's Jewels, and costs less than $100. Probably why she wasn't all that busted up about it onstage.

Interesting moment at the Lakers vs. Clippers game ... when LeBron James' agent, Rich Paul, went to shake hands with ex-Cavs coach Ty Lue -- and Lue REJECTED HIM HARD!!!

Here's the quick backstory ... Lue was the head coach of the Cleveland Cavaliers from 2016 to 2018 ... and only lasted 6 games into the 2018 season after LeBron bolted for L.A.

Lue had tried like hell to keep LeBron in Cleveland, knowing his fate was likely tied to the superstar ... and when Bron left, it was obvious Lue's fate was sealed.

Lue eventually got a job as an assistant coach with the L.A. Clippers -- and his team opened against LeBron's Lakers on Tuesday.

Obviously, Rich Paul was in the stands ... and at one point, was dapping it up with Clippers star Paul George when Lue came over to break it up.

Paul extended his hand and tried to get some love from Lue ... but Lue left him hanging and then stared down Paul's hand like he couldn't believe he would have the balls to try.

Paul laughed as Lue walked away ... while Lue was still jaw-jackin' back at Paul.

So, was it friendly ballbusting ... or is there real beef??? Unclear but the video is hilarious.

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is all for "Joker" putting a spotlight on a local NYC attraction she's known her whole life, but it sounds like she'd like to keep it a neighborhood secret.

We got AOC Tuesday on Capitol Hill and she dished on the famous Bronx stairs featured in the new flick. No spoiler here, but Joaquin Phoenix's Clown Prince of Gotham dances his way down the landmark to celebrate his transformation to the Joker.

The Congresswoman from the block says those stairs have been there since forever, and folks have been busting moves -- and maybe a few asses -- down them long before Joaquin made 'em trendy with tourists. AOC added it wasn't always the safest hang either.

If you haven't noticed, the stairs have been showing up all over Instagram -- as "Joker" fans anywhere near the borough wanna pull off their own versions of Arthur Fleck's dance.

As much as AOC appreciates the shine on her district, she also doesn't want locals to lose their sense of ownership. You gotta see AOC as she declares, "Keep your Instagram posts outside of the Boogie Down! This is for us!!!"

Fugees rapper Pras says when it comes to singing the n-word ... Gina Rodriguez has to earn a pass. Question is ... has she?

Pras hopped on "TMZ Live" Friday and let it be known that only certain Latin people who have contributed to the culture and those deeply embedded in the black community are given an honorary pass to say the word while singing a song.

As far as Gina's concerned ... Pras says he knows she's Latina but doesn't know her background well enough to speak on whether to issue her an honorary pass or not.

As we reported ... Gina got a lot of heat earlier this week for saying "n***a" while singing Lauryn Hill's verse on the Fugees' 1996 hit, "Ready or Not."

"Love & Hip Hop Miami" star Amara La Negra and Boyz II Men singer Shawn Stockman say Gina's earned the green light ... but seems the debate rages on.

Lady Gaga came way too close to the edge of glory when she invited a fan onstage and leapt into his arms ... because he was not ready for the spotlight.

Gaga was in the middle of a performance for her Las Vegas residency show, 'Enigma,' Thursday night at Park MGM when she brought the fan, Jack, up to join her.

Jack looked like he didn't want to let go when Gaga gave him a hug, so she obliged and decided to jump up and wrap her legs around his waist ... and that turned out to be a very bad choice.

After a few little hops and twists, everyone's laughs and cheers turned to gasps as Jack took a misstep off the right side of the elevated stage and went tumbling off ... still holding on to the star of the show.

The 2 crashed hard, and it looked like Jack came down on top of Gaga. Here's another angle.

The good news ... everyone seemed to be uninjured after the nasty spill, and Gaga announced to the crowd that everything was okay. She added ... "The only thing that’s not okay is we need some stairs for the damn stage so I can get back up."

The singer also consoled Jack, who was apparently in tears after the fall, and invited him back up to sit with her as she played piano and performed "Million Reasons."

She told him ... "Could you promise me something? Could you forgive yourself right now for what just happened?" and added, "I think that’s amazing. We f****g love each other so much we fell off the damn stage."

What a pro. Her post-concert ice bath and hot bath was extra necessary after this one.

Chrissy Teigen thinks Jim Halpert and Pam Beesly are definitely dunzo after getting married 10 years ago -- but Pammy herself is all like, whoa, whoa ... that's just what she said.

Yep, we ran into Jenna Fischer as she left the "Today" show in NYC -- where she was plugging her new 'Office'-themed podcast with Angela Kinsey -- and asked her point-blank ... if she and her TV hubby are divorced all these years later or nah???

Chrissy first raised the issue with a whole 'Office' romances theory that went viral -- she thinks every other couple EXCEPT J&P is going strong.

Of course, die-hard 'Office' fans probably already suspected that ... considering everything they overcame together in season 9 when Philly Jim emerged and put his relationship on the rocks with his soulmate. SUPER LATE Spoiler alert -- Jim finally chose Pam over work.

Wanna buy the house that sits on the lot where John Wayne Gacy murdered 33 people??? Not exactly genius marketing, sure, but the pad's hit the market and it's getting a lot of buzz.

The house, where police made the grisly discovery of 29 rotting bodies back in 1978, was bulldozed a year later. Seven years later, a new house was built on the lot. It's a modest home and there's not a hint of the horror that preceded it.

The 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom house is in the Chicago burbs. It's 2,500 square feet and the lot itself is just under 9,000 square feet. It's going for $459k.

It's marketed as a "beautiful brick home" with an updated kitchen that overlooks a huge backyard. It's been dubbed a must-see house. No mention of its connection to one of America's most prolific serial killers.

The cat's outta the bag -- Zoe Kravitz is playing Catwoman in the new 'Batman' movie ... which is interesting, considering she was allegedly too "urban" for Christopher Nolan's take.

The news broke Monday, with multiple outlets reporting that Zoe had landed the role after testing out some scenes last week opposite heartthrob Robert Pattinson -- who's donning the cowl next in Matt Reeves' "The Batman" ... which is hitting theaters in 2021.

The ironic thing about Zoe's casting here is that she told Nylon back in 2015 that she couldn't even get an audition for Nolan's last Batman flick, "The Dark Knight Rises," which she attributed to her race. That's not out of the clear blue sky either.

Zoe said she was basically blocked from even reading for a small role in the movie, allegedly being told that somebody had said they weren't "going urban" with the last installment.

This is creepy, even for Zak Bagans ... he got his hands on John Wayne Gacy's brain -- a brain he wants to buy -- and says he could sense the evil that consumed the serial killer.

The "Ghost Adventures" star tells TMZ ... he held Gacy's brain in his hands during a recent trip to the Chicago home where the late serial killer's forensic psychiatrist, Dr. Helen Morrison, keeps the organ ... which is preserved in a container in her basement.

Gacy -- infamously known as the "Killer Clown" -- was executed way back in 1994 after being convicted of murdering 33 young men and boys during the '70s, burying most of the bodies in a crawl space under his Chicago-area home.

Elton John says Michael Jackson came off as "genuinely mentally ill" late in life -- which left the Rocket Man himself believing the King of Pop had gone off the deep end.

The singer makes some pretty big claims about MJ in his new memoir, "Me," which is coming out Tuesday. Certain outlets have obtained an advanced copy of the book -- and one excerpt about Michael is making the rounds ... in which Elton discusses his mental state.

Per reports, Elton writes ... "I’d known Michael since he was 13 or 14 ... He was just the most adorable kid you could imagine. But at some point in the intervening years, he started sequestering himself away from the world, and away from reality the way Elvis Presley did."

Taylor Swift won't be showing her face banner anymore when the Los Angeles Kings are in town -- 'cause the fans don't wanna see it ... and the team is obliging.

L.A.'s pro hockey team made the announcement over the weekend ... saying that, going forward, the Kings will be covering up Taylor's banner during their home games at STAPLES Center. It's hanging in the rafters next to Lakers banners and retired jerseys.

A marketing rep for the Kings told Arash Markazi of the L.A. Times that fans just weren't digging it, so the team wants to show 'em they're listening. Michael Altieri says, "The connection to our fans is our highest priority and through our engagement they have made it clear that the banner shouldn’t be part of their Kings game experience."

Tinashe has no doubt that Tekashi 6ix9ine will get a record deal somewhere when he gets released from prison --and the reason is simple ... he's a polarizing cash cow.

We got the R&B singer Saturday night while she was leaving TAO in Hollywood, and picked her brain about Tekashi's chances at reviving his music career after this snitching saga is over. Tinashe makes no bones about it ... dude will absolutely be back in the studio.

She poses an interesting question to our camera guy -- asking if he knows anything about the industry, and then answering herself ... saying they're all about $$$$.

Travis Scott took a nasty fall Saturday night during his performance at the Rolling Loud festival ... a fall that messed up his knee something bad.

Travis was performing "BUTTERFLY EFFECT" at Citi Field in Queens when he jumped up and landed wrong on his right knee ... then tumbled to the ground.

Kylie's ex was clearly injured and could barely move around the stage. He ended up staying in the same spot, as members of his crew jumped on stage to check on him.

Travis told the crowd he thought he broke his knee, but nonetheless the show went on. He told the crowd, "Nothing can ever stop this show."

Ronnie Ortiz-Magro is making the most of the time he has left before his baby mama gets extended protection for her and their daughter -- and not a second too soon either.

The "Jersey Shore" star is at Disney World in Orlando right now, where he's riding rides with his 1-year-old, Ariana, and cheesing for the camera with her. Ronnie posted a video of him and Ariana riding Dumbo together ... and she looked happy to be out with dad.

The timing is nothing short of perfect. Up until now, Ronnie wasn't permitted to go near Jen Harley -- who's been caring for Ariana lately following Ronnie's arrest -- due to an emergency protective order cops issued ... which just expired Friday.

In other words ... no harm, no foul here. Ronnie's not in violation of anything by being with Ariana. However, we were told he'd steer clear of the family pending his arraignment.
