Harvey Weinstein Suicide Threat Prompts Police Response
Harvey Weinstein's daughter called 911 to say her dad was suicidal Wednesday morning, and police responded ... TMZ has learned.
According to law enforcement, Weinstein was at his 22-year-old daughter Remy's place when their argument spilled out onto the street. We're told Harvey yelled to her, "You're making it worse" ... and then flagged down a random vehicle driving past, begging for a ride.
We're told Remy convinced her father to go back in the house, and shortly thereafter -- around 10:30 AM -- LAPD and her alarm company showed up.
Law enforcement sources confirm officers responded to a call from Remy, who said her father was "suicidal and depressed." When they arrived ... Harvey had already left the home.
We're told when officers arrived Remy told them no suicidal statements were made, and it was purely a family dispute.
As of now, we're told Weinstein is still in L.A., but planning to fly out of town -- possibly to a rehab center -- before day's end.

Seth MacFarlane 2013 Weinstein Joke was Personal ... I was Angry for My Friend
Seth MacFarlane says his joke about Harvey Weinstein at the 2013 Oscar Nominations wasn't just meant to be funny ... it was a deliberate shot at the Hollywood honcho on behalf of his friend, Jessica Barth.
MacFarlane claims Barth -- who he's worked with on "Family Guy" and the "Ted" films -- confided in him in 2011 about Weinstein's attempted advances ... and it pissed off Seth so much, he ripped Weinstein at the Oscar noms event.
He says ... "I couldn't resist the opportunity to take a hard swing in his direction. Make no mistake, this came from a place of loathing and anger. There is nothing more abhorrent and indefensible than abuse of power such as this."
As we reported ... MacFarlane joked about Weinstein's sordid reputation for making moves on actresses. Now, like countless other celebs, he's speaking out against Weinstein and commending the women who've come forward.

Harvey Weinstein I Encouraged Georgina to Leave ... But I'm Not Giving Up
Harvey Weinstein knew his wife of 10 years, Georgina Chapman, was going to leave him because they had a heart-to-heart about breaking up in the days after his scandal broke.
Weinstein says, "Over the last week, there has been a lot of pain for my family that I take responsibility for. I sat down with my wife Georgina, who I love more than anything, and we discussed what was best for our family. We discussed the possibility of a separation and I encouraged her to do what was in her heart. In the end, she made the decision to separate."
As his sexual harassment scandal grows, Weinstein somehow sounds optimistic he'll be able to patch things up with Georgina ... saying, "I understand, I love her and I love our children and hopefully, when I am better, I will be in their lives again. I support her decision, I am in counseling and perhaps, when I am better, we can rebuild.”

Mark Zuckerberg admits using hurricane-ravaged Puerto Rico as the backdrop to roll out Facebook's new 360-degree virtual reality technology ... was a super tone-deaf idea. No duh.

The video is stunning -- make sure you wait for the high-five between Mark and his social media honcho, Rachel.
Tone-deaf is a HUGE understatement.

Seth McFarlane Joked What Everyone Knew Weinstein Made Moves on Actresses
Seth McFarlane cracked a joke during the 2013 Oscar Nominations about Harvey Weinstein and his apparent insatiable appetite for actresses ... and it seemed the audience was in on it.

Check out the clip. The audience was super uncomfortable.
And Tina Fey wrote a joke on "30 Rock" for Jane Krakowski's character, who quipped, "I'm not afraid of anyone in show business. I turned down intercourse with Harvey Weinstein on no less than 3 occasions ... out of 5."

Common Jerry Jones Has 'Slave Owner Mentality' ... with Benching Threat
Common believes Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones is exhibiting a "slave owner mentality" by saying he'd bench any player who "disrespects the flag" ... making HIM the unpatriotic one.
"It’s an owner mentality," Common tells TMZ Sports ... "like a slave owner mentality, to be honest. Like, 'You gonna do what I say on this.'"
"Other people choosing to put their hands over their heart. What makes that gesture better than somebody else who might be praying during the national anthem?"
"Or if somebody says, 'I'm kneeling for what I believe in,' ... then they should be able to do that because that's what this country is about."

Harvey Weinstein Save My Ass! Begged Execs for Support
Harvey Weinstein made a failed attempt to save his job in the 11th hour, firing off an email to other studio execs and asking them to back him in his time of need.
Weinstein's email said, "My board is thinking of firing me. All I'm asking, is let me take a leave of absence and get into heavy therapy and counseling." He added ... "A lot of the allegations are false as you know but given therapy and counseling as other have done, I think I'd be able to get there."
As we reported, The Weinstein Co. fired its head honcho Sunday after the New York Times story alleging he'd sexually harassed employees, actresses and others for decades. It seems the letters of support were never sent, or simply weren't persuasive enough.
The Hollywood Reporter says Ron Meyer and Jeffery Katzenberg were among the recipients of the email.
Weinstein laid it on thick though ... "I am desperate for your help. Just give me the time to have therapy. Do not let me be fired."

Kylie Jenner Drops Hint That She's Having a Boy ... Too Bad She Ain't
Kylie Jenner clearly wants people to think she's having a baby boy -- which is cute and all ... but it just ain't true.
Kylie tried throwing her followers off the scent on Snapchat Monday by posting a pic of some of her lip kit products -- 2 of which were draped in pink, the other in blue -- with a caption that read ... "Which one? I'm thinking blue ..." tagged with a blue heart at the end.
We presume the post is aimed at her recent baby news -- but it's unfortunately nothing but a red herring. TMZ broke the stories ... Kylie's pregnant with Travis Scott's baby ... and they're having a girl -- just like her big sis Kim is.
Also ... notice that the blue product is flanked by pink on both sides. In other words, read around the lines for this one.

Chris Hardwick Avoid Another Harvey Weinstein Follow These Steps ...
OCTOBER 2017
Chris Hardwick ripped Harvey Weinstein for his lame I-grew-up-in-the-'60s excuse ... but not before offering advice to young actresses on how to avoid creeps like him.
We got Chris at LAX and asked him about the studio exec getting fired from the company he founded for rampant sexual harassment allegations over a 3-decade period that, among others, included Ashley Judd and Rose McGowan.
Chris got serious for a minute and offered advice for Hollywood on how to legitimately conduct business. He then went off on Weinstein for his -- shall we say -- "Mad Men" mentality.

Oakland Raiders lineman Donald Penn went off on a Raiders fan outside the stadium in Oakland on Sunday -- screaming at the guy, "I do block, bitch" ... and even dropping an n-bomb.

Penn then grabbed a security guard and told him to tend to the fans.

Colin Kaepernick Willing to Stand for Nat'l Anthem? ... Uh, Not So Fast
1:00 PM PT -- Colin just tweeted about the misinformation over him being willing to stand for the national anthem with a quote from Winston Churchill. His girlfriend, Nessa, also tweeted an outright denial of the news.
A lie gets halfway around the world before the truth has a chance to get its pants on.
@Kaepernick7
Winston S. Churchill
The reports that Colin will stand for the anthem are completely false! He has never discussed this with anyone. pic.twitter.com/tWusUBJMeF
@nessnitty
11:48 PM PT -- Jason La Canfora is now saying reports about Colin standing for the anthem are NOT true ... adding he and the ex-QB only talked about wanting to play again. Multiple media outlets cited CBS and La Canfora for the original news ... but that story about Colin being willing to stand has now been removed from CBS' site. It appears Jason was only relaying earlier reporting about Colin standing in the future.
Colin Kaepernick is apparently over his National Anthem protest ... just as long as it means he can play professional football again.
Kaepernick reportedly told reporter Jason La Canfora that he would indeed stand for the National Anthem if he was signed to an NFL team this year.
La Canfora said Sunday that he'd sat down with Kaep and his GF Saturday night, and explained that Colin's primary goal right now is to be a pro QB ... as he's been living in NYC and training privately in Jersey.
La Canfora also says Colin spends a fair amount of time working with youth in Harlem ... as we've recently seen.
After sitting down with Colin Kaepernick for several hours, @JasonLaCanfora says the QB is still actively trying to play in the NFL. pic.twitter.com/R9qTIZ7EQl
@NFLonCBS
Still ... the alleged statement on standing is shocking if true -- especially in light of the recent national debate that President Trump himself has weighed in on and gotten tremendous backlash from the NFL.
Gotta wonder if this will change any NFL owners' minds about Kaep.

O.J. Simpson Waiting for Taco Takeout I'll Take a Bloody Ma ... D'OH!
O.J. Simpson wasted no time quenching his thirst for blood ... but he watered it down with vodka.
Simpson was spotted grabbing takeout Saturday at Las Vegas' Wahoos Fish Taco restaurant around 4 PM, where patrons tell us during the wait he ordered himself a Bloody Mary.
Everyone in the restaurant stared, but no one asked for pics or a John Hancock.
The restaurant wouldn't say what was in the bag ... customer/restaurant privilege.
He'd be wise to stay away from the blood stuff this time of year. Or always ... either way.
