Michael Irvin says he did NOT sexually assault a woman at a Florida hotel -- and claims his legal team has video evidence that will prove his innocence.

TMZ Sports broke the story ... a 27-year-old woman accused Irvin of sexually assaulting her at a hotel in Florida on March 21.

Irvin says the allegations are the devil's work -- "He is trying to shake my faith in people. I can not let him prevail."

As for the video, Irvin says surveillance footage from the hotel will show him and his accuser leaving the room together ... "There was no one passed out in that room."

Irvin says he hasn't spoken with the accuser since the alleged incident and she told him she doesn't remember the details of the evening in question.

"I do remember," Irvin says ... "Nothing happened."

Irvin says the woman had been a friend for a long time before the incident and he would never do anything to harm her.

Chuck Norris is such a badass, he gets made into a Texan for killin' it as one on TV ... no joke.

The Texas State Senate named Chuck an honorary Texan Tuesday at their State Capitol, where senators presented the actor with a gavel along with his new title.

Officials in Chapel Hill tell TMZ Sports 4 people suffered burns from the victory fires on Franklin Street following the Monday night championship game.

The stats aren't bad considering there were roughly 55,000 people partying their faces off.

We're told no arrests were made and only 7 people were injured (including the 4 burn victims).

Officials say the fires were extinguished and cleaned up without further incident and the streets were reopened to vehicle traffic around 2 AM.

A rep for Chapel Hill tells us, "The Town would like to thank all its many Town employees and area partners for a collaborative effort to watch out for the safety of the people of Chapel Hill."

Here's the thing ... Cena didn't use her "ring name" -- he proposed with her real name, "Stephanie Nicole Garcia-Colace" -- leading most people to think the proposal was real and not a scripted bit.

John and Nikki have been dating in real life since 2012.

Boosie Badazz's concert ended before it began Saturday night after someone fired off shots ... and he's pissed off for himself and his fans.

Boosie was supposed to headline at Virginia Motorsports Park for the 2nd Annual Spring Fest, but before he could take the stage ... gunfire erupted. The shots created a mass panic, and 2 victims hospitalized with non-lethal injuries.

Cops from 5 different cities responded, but no suspects were arrested and it's unclear how many shooters were involved.

Gilbert Baker, the man who created the rainbow flag for gay pride, has died ... according to his close friend.

Gilbert was an openly gay man and civil rights activist. He created the flag for the 1978 Pride Festival in San Francisco. According to his website, Gilbert taught himself to sew at a young age after serving time in the army, and used those skills to make banners for gay and anti-war protest marches.

He was heavily involved within the San Francisco gay rights movement and had a close friendship with Harvey Milk.

Gilbert's friend and fellow activist, Cleve Jones, posted the news of his death, writing, "I am heartbroken. My dearest friend in the world is gone ... he gave me forty years of love and friendship. I can't stop crying. I love you forever Gilbert Baker."

Cleve didn't say how Gilbert died.

He was 65 years old.

Mike Hall -- one of the most famous endurance cyclists in the world -- died early Friday morning after he was hit by a car during a race in Australia.

The 35-year-old was competing in the Indian Pacific Wheel Race from Perth to Sydney when the collision occurred near the end of the 3,300 mile race.

Hall was in 2nd place during the race when the crash occurred around 6:20 AM on the Monaro Highway.

Event organizers immediately canceled the race following the incident.

Maybe Chris Weidman knows something we don't ... but the UFC star says the highly anticipated Floyd Mayweather vs. Conor McGregor fight is "100%" going down.

Weidman appeared on "MMA Report with Mike 'Gunz' Gunzelman" and said his information about the fight is "a fact."

Of course, Dana White has disagreed the last few times we've seen him out -- while he's said he wants the fight to happen, the UFC honcho has said the 2 sides are insanely far apart when it comes to money. But maybe something's changed.

Still, Weidman seems very confident and explained why he truly believes Mayweather could be in for a VERY painful night.

'Real Housewives of Atlanta' star Kenya Moore says she's had to dodge up to 30 phone calls a day from her ex-BF, Matt Jordan, so she went to court to get protection.

In legal docs, Kenya says Matt threatened her last week, telling a mutual friend ... "she'd get what she deserves" after she blocked his harassing calls.

The couple broke up after a nightmare vacation last year in Mexico, which Kenya mentions in her request for a restraining order. She adds Matt kicked in a hotel door and threw her suitcase in the driveway after they got back.

Last week, she told us things haven't gotten any better since last summer.

The judge granted her the restraining order which requires Matt to stay 200 yards away from Kenya, and stop all harassing or intimidating behavior toward her or her family.

As we've reported ... Matt has a long rap sheet that includes 4 arrests in the last year alone.
