The guy who plays "The Mountain" on "Game of Thrones" says he MAJORLY "held back" when he sparred Conor McGregor back in 2015 ... because he coulda Prince Oberyn'd the guy for real.

You remember the video ... 6'9'', 400-pound Icelandic strongman Hafthor Julius Bjornsson toyed with the 5'9" UFC star in a training sesh in Ireland before Conor's big fight against Jose Aldo.

Hafthor talked about the throwdown with RT Sport and said he went easy because, "If I would push all my power into him, I would crush him. Crush him."

"I had to hold myself back because I have too much power for a man his size."

He's right.

Gronk Smashed in Rap Battle vs. Actress ... 'I Deflated Your Balls'

Published | Updated

Rob Gronkowski tried spitting bars (again) -- this time in rap battle form -- and got absolutely WRECKED by "Jane the Virgin" star Gina Rodriguez.

On "Drop the Mic" ... Gronk took the stage in a tank n' chain, bragged about his Super Bowl rings and dropped some cringy sex jokes on Gina.

"You're a Virgin, I'm not -- I score all the time."

Gina responded with a series of shots at Gronk's intelligence ... leaving the Patriots superstar looking legitimately hurt.

"I spit fire -- you look like the caveman that discovered it."

"Gronk's his nickname and we know what that means -- it's the only sound he made until he was 16."

And the KO blow -- "This is not a revelation, I'm sure you've heard it all. But check your manhood, 'cause I just deflated your balls."

Update: Gronk's ego has officially been placed on the IR.

Jon Jones Teases Fight Return Despite Looming Suspension

Published | Updated

He's staring down the barrel of a 4-year suspension, but Jon Jones says he's NOT giving up his fight career -- and he's still training as if he'll be back in the near future.

TMZ Sports broke the story ... Jones was popped for steroids in August after UFC 214 -- the second time he's tested positive for a banned substance in the last 2 years.

Jones has been provisionally suspended and is now facing 4 years in the penalty box once the United States Anti-Doping Agency (USADA) metes out the official punishment.

But Jon isn't waving the white flag just yet ... in fact, he busted out the UFC gear and hit the mitts with a trainer -- insisting, "If I made it to the top of the mountain once, I can do it again."

The question ... is he looking to switch sports?

He added another caption saying, "I believe there are talents inside of me I haven't even discovered yet. There's nothing I put my mind to that I can't achieve, just got to be willing to put in the work."

Jones is a freak athlete. He's only 30. Guessing he's not planning on doing NOTHING.

Bruce Maxwell Police Report: MLB Player Cussed Out, Berated Cops ... During Gun Arrest

Published | Updated

Oakland A's catcher Bruce Maxwell -- the only MLB player who took a knee last season -- made "anti-police statements" and cussed out officers during his gun arrest ... this according to the police report.

26-year-old Maxwell was arrested for assault with a deadly weapon and disorderly conduct in Scottsdale, AZ on Saturday after allegedly pulling a gun on a food delivery woman.

According to the police report, obtained by TMZ Sports, the woman says she was making a routine delivery from Geno's Pizza and Cheesesteaks in Tempe when Maxwell answered the door and stuck a gun right in her face.

"Lindsay advised me she was staring straight at the barrel of a silver handgun," the reporting officer put in the notes.

When cops confronted Maxwell, he reeked of booze, cussed like crazy and couldn't keep his story straight. However, at one point Maxwell said he had cancelled his food order before it arrived and was not expecting it to be delivered.

Cops say Maxwell admitted he had 2 guns in his apartment and a bunch of ammo -- but insisted he had a concealed carry permit.

As the investigation continued, cops say Maxwell "began making anti-police statements and utilized excessive profanity." When cops decided to arrest him, he initially refused to comply.

One cop had a rifle trained on Maxwell during the incident. Another gave Maxwell instructions while pointing a taser at him. Maxwell ultimately surrendered without any weapons being used.

Maxwell was transported to a nearby jail, where he continued to cuss out police officers -- according to the report.

We've reached out to Maxwell for his side of the story. So far, no word back.

Wendy's show airs live on the East coast ... so when she passed out, producers quickly cut to black and then a commercial.

Jerry Jones says Roger Goodell is trying to redeem himself for mishandling the Ray Rice situation by going extra hard on Ezekiel Elliott ... saying the commish turned Zeke into a "victim of an over-correction."

Zeke's request for a preliminary injunction was denied by a U.S. District judge on Monday ... upholding his 6-game suspension.

Jones addressed the newest update with "Shan & RJ" on 105.3 The Fan ... saying Goodell knows he went too easy on Rice, and is now trying to appease the public by burying Zeke.

Colin 'Krapperdick' Costume Wins Louisiana Casino Halloween Contest

Published | Updated

It pays to mock Colin Kaepernick ... just ask the guy who walked away with a cash prize at a major Louisiana casino for being "Colin Krapperdick."

It all went down at the Horseshoe Casino in Bossier City -- a hotel owned by Caesars Entertainment -- where 53-year-old James Pendarvis mocked the QB in an effort to win a share of a $1,500 prize.

Pendarvis sported a jersey that read, "Krapperdick" across the front -- with accessories that included an adult diaper, a pacifier and an afro.

Also, he had a fake body dressed as a soldier grabbing his waist -- strategically positioned to remain standing when "Krapperdick" took a knee.

The casino says the contest winners were voted on by casino guests -- NOT STAFF -- and has already apologized saying, "As a company that embraces inclusion, we apologize to all those who are offended."

As for Pendarvis, he issued a statement to the Shreveport Times saying, "As a society we have freedom of speech. But yet, I get hammered for a costume."

"Yes, distasteful to some, funny to others. Our country should be worried about ways to peaceful protests and ways to better our nation."

Colin Kaepernick Mocked By Univ. Of NV Reno Cop ... At Halloween Party

Published | Updated

The Chief of the University of Nevada, Reno Police Dept. -- where Colin Kaepernick went to school -- is apologizing for an officer who mocked the QB at a Halloween party.

The officer in hot water is Antonio Gutierrez -- who wore a Kaepernick jersey with a "Will stand for food" sign ... while sporting an afro wig and a fake nose in an effort to make fun of the QB.

But the UNR PD ain't laughing ... Chief Adam Garcia issued a statement condemning Gutierrez saying, "For those who have seen the Halloween costume of one of our officers apparently mocking a citizen who has chosen to take advantage of his constitutional right to protest, I offer my sincere apologies."

"Members of our profession are held to a higher standard and denigrating another -- on or off duty -- is insensitive for its lack of respect and lack of understanding on how others may negatively view their actions and may be impacted."

When asked if the officer was punished, we were told, "We have no policy that would dictate any disciplinary action."

FYI, Kaepernick was a standout QB at UNR from 2007 to 2010 -- before being drafted by the 49ers.

Peyton Manning Sexual Assault Deposition Video Surfaces

Published | Updated

For the first time, video of Peyton Manning's deposition -- in which he denies sexually assaulting a former University of Tennessee trainer -- has gone public.

Peyton sat for the deposition back in 2003 ... after Dr. Jamie Naughright sued him for defamation over a chapter in his autobiography about the 1996 incident.

Naughright had accused Manning of shoving his testicles and anus into her face while she was examining him on a training table at UT.

Manning claims he was simply trying to "moon" a friend -- and in the deposition video, obtained by "Inside Edition," he explains:

"I briefly pulled down my pants to so-called 'moon' him. One second, one and a half seconds. Pulled my pants back up and continued with Jamie's examination of the bottom of my foot."

Naughright says Manning is lying and refused to back down during an interview with "Inside Edition."

Manning's attorney is adamant the NFL legend did nothing wrong.
