Britney Spears is ending her own 7 years war with Sam Lutfi ... the ex-manager who accused her of rampant drug abuse and slandering his name -- the case has settled.

Lutfi and Spears reached the settlement agreement late last week ... according to docs obtained by TMZ. Sources familiar with the situation tell us ... Britney paid Lutfi "in the low 6 figures," but less than the estimated $500,000 in legal fees it would have cost her to defend the lawsuit.

Lutfi filed the defamation case against Britney and her family back in 2009, claiming the entire Spears clan was bad-mouthing him and blamed him for her downfall ... after she was hospitalized in 2008. Lutfi claimed they were outta line because the real problem was Britney's drug abuse, which he tried to stop.

A judge tossed his case in 2012, but Lutfi appealed and got a second bite of the apple. A trial was set to begin in L.A. next month.

Ezekiel Elliott will not face any charges for allegedly assaulting his ex-girlfriend ... TMZ Sports has learned.

The Columbus, OH City Attorney says there were inconsistent details about what the woman claimed were 5 separate incidents from July 17 to July 22 -- and as a result prosecutors felt there wasn't enough evidence to bring a case against the Cowboys running back.

The City Attorney says Elliott and his attorneys fully cooperated with the investigation. In his statement to police, Elliott said the woman told him, "I am going to ruin your career, you have messed with the wrong person!"

Prosecutors released a bunch of photos showing bruises on the woman, which she claimed Elliott inflicted. The City Attorney Office says it tried to determine the source of the injuries.

They're not saying it, but it appears prosecutors couldn't find enough evidence to pin it on Elliott. According to docs, Elliott told police the bruises were from a fight she'd had with someone else at a nightclub.

Elliott has always maintained the woman was NOT a girlfriend ... just someone with whom he had a "sexual relationship."

Bill Cosby is the victim of discrimination and racial hatred ... according to Bill Cosby.

Cosby's lawyers just released a statement calling out those who "accuse him of crimes for unwitnessed events" ... and Cosby particularly directs his frustration at Gloria Allred.

The 79-year-old's adamant Allred's trampling on his civil rights, saying, "her campaign against Mr. Cosby builds on racial bias and prejudice that can pollute the court of public opinion. And when the media repeats her accusations -- with no evidence, no trial and no jury -- we are moved backwards as a country."

Cosby was in court Tuesday as his team tried moving the sexual assault case out of Montgomery County ... arguing Cosby won't get a fair trial there. His trial's set to begin June 5th, 2017.

Pro wrestler Scott Hall was disqualified from a T.G.I. Friday's for being drunk, rowdy and disrespectful to the bartender.

A witness tells us Hall was at the Friday's in the Atlanta airport on Saturday ... drinking Coors Lights and tequila shots. He allegedly hit on the bartender and called her a bitch, and that's when trouble started brewing with the bartender's father ... who was at the bar.

We're told Hall didn't believe the guy was really her dad, and a manager stepped in and asked him to leave -- when he refused, someone called cops.

Law enforcement sources tell us officers responded to the intoxicated person call. They recognized Hall as his former wrestling alter ego, Razor Ramon ... shook his hand and calmed the situation. You can see in the video though, Scott didn't want to give up his beer easily.

We're told Scott left without further incident and no police report was filed.

Hall has a history with booze and drug abuse, but has said he's been sober recently. We've reached out to his rep.

Amber Heard is washing her hands from all things Johnny Depp -- she's walking away from her lawsuit against one of Johnny's friends.

Amber dropped her defamation lawsuit against comic Doug Stanhope ... according to a legal doc obtained by TMZ.

You'll recall Amber sued Doug back in June after Doug wrote a scathing article claiming she blackmailed Johnny with false spousal abuse allegations.

Sources close to the case tell us part of Johnny and Amber's global settlement, which includes all lawsuits emanating from the spousal abuse allegations ... including the one against Doug.

Brock Turner has registered as a sex offender ... part of his punishment for sexual assault.

TMZ has obtained the registration, filed in Greene County, Ohio, near his parents' home in Bellbrook.

Turner does not list any schools or jobs under the "Other Known Addresses" tab. He'll be required to add the info if he goes to school or gets a job.

Britney Spears wants the media to know ... she's going after you if you tell lies about her, and she's starting with In Touch.

TMZ has obtained a scathing letter Britney's lawyer wrote to the honchos at In Touch, warning them not to publish a story they're pushing about Britney allegedly acting erratic at last month's MTV Video Music Awards and "talking and laughing to herself and using a British accent."

According to the letter, the magazine notified Britney's rep the story will run. Britney's lawyer says it is "utterly false, highly defamatory and completely offensive to Ms. Spears."

A source connected with Britney tells TMZ, the singer and her team are sick of "made-up" stories, especially in the face of how hard she's worked to turn her life around. They say if the story runs they will absolutely sue the magazine, adding this will be the first of many lawsuits to stop the lies.

Motley Crüe made out like bandits on its farewell tour by ripping off two famous rock 'n' roll photographers -- slapping their work on all sorts of merchandise ... according to the photogs.

The Crüe rode off into the sunset with the 2014-15 tour, and sold a bunch of gear with classic images of the band from its heyday in the '80s. Barry Levine and Neil Zlozower say they took those photos, and the band never got their permission use their pics.

In their lawsuit Levine and Zlozower say Motley Crüe hawked t-shirts, crop tops, stickers, vests, flags, patches ... and even babies onesies featuring their famous photos -- but they got bupkis out of the deal.

The guy Karlie Redd claimed got all pervy by trying to take pic of her is now firing back ... with a defamation lawsuit.

Christopher Powe -- aka Pharaoh -- says Karlie dragged his name through the mud by making the false claims -- both to TMZ and on social media -- alleging he attacked her, tried raping her and taking her picture while she was asleep.

Powe says he and Karlie were seeing each other this summer until he pulled the plug, and she threatened to sic her goons on him. He says she was just a woman scorned who then made up lies.

Chris says Karlie went on an unrelenting campaign bad-mouthing him ... costing him tons of dough for a crisis PR guy. He's suing for more than a mil, and also wants a retraction and an apology.

We reached out to Karlie for comment ... so far no word back.

2:29 PM PT -- Miller bonded out and has been released from custody.

12:12 PM PT -- The 49ers announced they've released Miller.

49ers fullback Bruce Miller was arrested for allegedly attacking 2 men -- including one who was 70.

TMZ Sports confirmed Miller was busted for aggravated assault, elder abuse, threats and battery. Bail's been set at $178k.

The altercation went down early Monday morning after Miller -- who cops say was drunk -- tried entering a room occupied by an elderly couple at Fisherman's Wharf Marriott Hotel.

When a neighboring guest, the couple's son, told Miller he was at the wrong room, the football player charged at him. That's when the 70-year-old father came to his defense and Miller punched him ... breaking several of the man's bones. Both men were taken to a hospital.

Miller fled but cops tracked him down across the street at another hotel where he was arrested. The 49ers released a statement, saying, "The San Francisco 49ers organization is aware of the media report regarding Bruce Miller. We are gathering the relevant facts of this matter and will continue to monitor the situation."

Lil Wayne jumped on stage during Drake's concert Sunday night and made it clear ... his beef with Birdman is what almost got him to throw in the rap towel.

Drake was super supportive of Wayne during his Houston concert, but it was Wayne who got the crowd riled up by taking a shot at Birdman, who's refused to release "The Carter V" for years. Wayne, who's in an epic legal battle with Birdman, ended with a call to action ... "F*** Cash Money!"

Wayne insinuated over the weekend he was done with music.

The LAPD has finally tracked down the woman Playboy Playmate Dani Mathers body shamed and they'll ask prosecutors to nail her.

We've learned the woman -- in her 70's -- wants Mathers to feel the full force of the law for taking a pic of her while she was changing clothes in the locker room of an LA Fitness. The woman is more than willing to testify and cooperate in any way she can to bring Mathers to justice.

As for the likely charge ... we're told it's Dissemination of Private Images, a misdemeanor punishable by 6 months in jail. The L.A. City Attorney is reviewing the case and will make a decision soon.

The surreptitious photo shoot triggered outrage in the gym community and beyond. Mather's captioned the pic, "If I can't unsee this then you can't either."

Our sources say cops want to make an example out of Mathers ... to show people it's downright criminal to shame somebody when all they're trying to do is better themselves.

We broke the story, the 30-year-old former Timberwolves player essentially stole a Mercedes from a West Hollywood valet stand back in December and took it on a 6 hour joyride.

The REAL owner says Adrien damaged the car and police were called. He was charged with felony grand theft auto. Adrien claimed it was all one big misunderstanding.

Now, we've learned Adrien struck a plea deal with prosecutors, pleading no contest to misdemeanor unauthorized use of a vehicle -- and got 25 days community labor.

Helen Lasichanh Williams filed docs in L.A. to make the BIG switch. Once a judge signs off the model will officially be Helen Lasichan Williams. Ya see? So muc better.

Brock Turner's parents are scared for their son's safety ... so much so they've asked cops to help them deal with protesters and others who might do him harm ... TMZ has learned.

Law enforcement sources in Ohio also tell us ... they're tracking social media to monitor any threatening activity -- whether it be from Sugarcreek Township residents -- many of whom are unhappy about a sex offender in their 'hood -- to angry outsiders.

Law enforcement is vague about actual threats, but one source did say, "Everybody is always concerned about death threats."

Protesters are expected in force over the weekend at the Turners' house. One protester tells us some of them will be open carrying, but he vows to refrain from violence.

Tyga should have a rewards card for the repo man -- in addition to his Ferrari, we found out he recently lost a Maybach too!

Sources with direct knowledge of the deal tell us the rapper's 2014 Maybach 62 S Landaulet broke down a couple months ago, and got towed to a Laguna Niguel repair shop. We're told Tyga had missed a few payments, naturally, so the financing company put someone on the job.

We're told a source tipped off the repo man about the $2.2 million whip's whereabouts, and Tyga never saw it again. He had the whip for a couple years though, so as his vehicles go ... that's a pretty good stretch.

As for Tyga's Ferrari, which Kylie tried to insinuate had not been repossessed -- we got a pic of it back with the rightful owner.
