Ex-NBA stars Earl "The Pearl" Monroe and Henry Bibby claim they got "conned" into joining a new basketball league ... only to get screwed out of thousands of dollars.

Both guys are suing the Champions League -- a 5-on-5 full court league comprised mainly of retired NBA players and coaches.

Monroe and Bibby claim they were promised serious cash to join -- but the money never came.

According to the suit, obtained by TMZ Sports, Monroe accepted a job as Sr. VP and GM of the Gotham Ballers -- and was supposed to get $110k ... but he only got $30k instead.

Bibby says he was supposed to get $60k for coaching the Phoenix Desert Cats -- but never got a cent.

The guys say they were offered stock to make up for the cash -- but they think the whole league is a Ponzi scheme and want their cash, asap.

Bobby Brown and the estate of Bobbi Kristina have reached a settlement with TV One over the dispute about the biopic on her life ... according to new legal docs.

We broke the story ... the estate joined forces with Brown in September to stop the biopic from airing. Bobby claimed the portrayal of him as a bad dad was defamatory, and Bobbi Kristina's estate claimed the show violated her right to privacy. It aired anyway last month on October 8.

It seems ... even though they weren't able to block the airing of the show, Brown and Bobbi's estate were able to score some cash in the settlement. They wanted more than $2 million in damages, but it's unclear how much they got.

Add two very important members of the Seattle Seahawks to the group of people who will be deposed in the Colin Kaepernick collusion case.

TMZ Sports has learned Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll and owner Paul Allen will join a long list of NFL honchos who will be deposed and asked to turn over all cell phone records and emails relating to Kaep's case against the league.

So far, Cowboys owner Jerry Jones, Patriots owner Bob Kraft and Texans owner Bob McNair are also on the list ... according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.

It was widely reported Colin and the Seahawks had a positive meeting over the summer but the Seahawks never made a formal offer.

After the meeting, Carroll told reporters he didn't sign Kaep because he considered Colin a "starter in this league" and he wanted to give the guy a chance to sign with a team where he had a real chance to play.

Former Playboy Playmate Dani Mathers is slacking ... and the judge let her know it.

Dani was in court Friday where she was supposed to submit proof of more community hours served as part of her plea in her criminal invasion of privacy case. To date, Dani has completed 56 hours but she was ordered to put in 240 hours.

The judge reminded Dani of her obligations and strongly advised her to get on the stick. She has to return to court January 17 for proof of completion ... or else.

As we reported ... Dani chose to do 30 days of graffiti removal instead of serving 45 days in jail. She's also on 36 months probation for secretly taking a pic of an elderly, naked woman in a gym locker room and shaming her on social media.

If she fails to complete her community service, she could get thrown in the slammer for 45 days.

Ethan Kath, a member of the band Crystal Castles, has filed a defamation lawsuit against a former member who claimed he raped her.

Ethan had dated Alice Glass -- then a member of the duo -- but they broke up and Glass went on the attack. She claimed he stole royalties from her, and then she started making rumblings he was physically and sexually abusive. According to the defamation lawsuit, Ethan's fired off a cease and desist letter and she backed down.

Fast forward to October 24, 2017, when Alice posted the following ...

"He gave me drugs and alcohol and had sex with me in an abandoned room in an apartment he managed. It wasn't always consensual and he remained sober whenever we were together. He became physically abusive. He held me over a staircase and threatened to throw me down it. He picked me up over his shoulders and threw me onto concrete."

Ethan says Alice is lying and is still bitter about their breakup. He also claims she's just trying to get attention to jumpstart her new musical venture.

Ethan says as a result of Alice's new allegations, the band's tour got canceled and they lost $300k in profits.

In a statement provided to TMZ, Ethan says, "Alice and I had a long ongoing relationship both personal and professional. When she suddenly left Crystal Castles to handle her mental health issues and substance abuse issues I fully supported her. I will continue to support her quest to wellness but I can't support extortion, false claims, and accusations put forth after the band attained new success without her."

He goes on ... "False allegations take away voice from true victims and that's what saddens me most about all of this."

Ezekiel Elliott says he's willing to fight his domestic violence suspension for as LONG AS IT TAKES TO CLEAR HIS NAME ... because, "I'm not an abuser."

The Dallas Cowboys running back just explained why he's so insistent on fighting the NFL instead of serving his 6-game suspension in a strong locker statement, according to ESPN's Josina Anderson.

"This is bigger than a suspension. It's bigger than football. It's them trying to make me something I'm not. I'm not an abuser. That's not who I am."

He continued, "This is my name and this is my reputation. That's something that I have to live with beyond football so, everyday is worth fighting for."

In the seemingly never-ending saga of will he/won't he play this week -- the Second Circuit Court of Appeals has granted Zeke's request to prevent the league from immediately enforcing his domestic violence suspension.

So, what does it all mean? Simply ... he's cleared to play the Chiefs on Sunday (big game) -- and then his fight is back on.

The next phase -- a 3-judge panel will hear the case and issue a ruling, which the losing side will undoubtedly appeal.

El Chapo can't remember a damn thing and is depressed as hell ... and that's why his lawyers are begging a judge to let a doc take a look at him in jail.

Lawyers for the drug lord want the judge to allow for a neuropsychological evaluation at the Metropolitan Correctional Facility because in just the last month he can't remember people, places and events.

In new legal docs obtained by TMZ ... lawyers say Chapo suffers from headaches, ringing in his ears and throat pain ... claiming none of it has been looked at by doctors. Plus ... Chapo's been denied from buying simple things like bottled water, batteries for his radio and personal hygiene items.

Chapo's condition, lawyers claim, is a result of complete isolation, frigid cell temps, lack of clean bed covers and no fresh air, among other things. Lawyers also claim shortly after just one visit from his sister, the government revoked her visa and she can no longer enter the U.S.

We broke the story ... Chapo's lawyers tried getting him moved to general population but a judge basically told him to stop bitching.

Scottie Pippen is finally ready to tear up those divorce docs he filed -- he and Larsa are officially calling off the split.

According to court docs, both sides have agreed to dismiss the case -- they filed Thursday in Florida's Broward County court. The NBA Hall of Famer filed for divorce back in 2016 ... after 19 years of marriage and having 4 kids.

The legal move isn't a huge shock, considering the couple moved to L.A. together back in September ... and we've seen them around town plenty of times. Apparently, things are going well for the Pippens.

The judge still needs to sign on the dotted line to make things officially official ... but the couple has clearly worked things out.

Cuffing season, indeed.

TMZ Sports has obtained the 911 call made by the Postmates food delivery driver who says MLB player Bruce Maxwell pointed a gun at her ... and she's clearly shaken by the frightening ordeal.

The woman tells the 911 operator she was simply trying to deliver a food order to the Oakland A's catcher, but things got bizarre very quickly ... culminating with a shirtless Bruce sticking a gun in her face.

The woman says she wasn't sure if Bruce had done anything illegal because it was all on his property -- but the operator quickly assures her that pulling out a piece on a delivery person is wrong.

Cops responded to the scene and arrested Bruce for aggravated assault. According to the police report ... Maxwell cussed out officers and was uncooperative during the arrest.

Before this ordeal ... Bruce was known for being the only MLB player to take a knee during the National Anthem this season.

Now, Maxwell's also known for being banned from using Postmates again.

Harvey Weinstein forced himself on "Boardwalk Empire" star Paz de la Huerta twice in her home ... according to the actress, whose allegation has launched a new NYPD investigation.

Paz told CBS News the first alleged rape happened in October 2010 ... when Weinstein offered to give her a ride to her NYC apartment following a party they both attended. She claims he insisted on having drinks at her place, and when they did ... "He pushed me on the bed ... and it happened all very suddenly."

She claims the second assault happened a couple of months later when he showed up in her lobby. Somehow they ended up inside her apartment again, and Paz alleges he raped her again. She also says she was drinking and in no condition to consent to sex.

Weinstein has previously denied the non-consensual sex allegations from dozens of women. We've reached out to his camp regarding Paz's accusations.

The brother of Vegas shooter Stephen Paddock has employees at an assisted living facility afraid for their safety because of his threatening behavior, including death threats ... according to new legal docs.

Bruce Paddock has been ordered to stay away from the Four Seasons Healthcare & Wellness Center -- the California nursing home he recently visited -- after yelling at the administrator, "don't f*** with me and tell your nurses not to f*** with me because I'm the one that hurts people."

Paddock also allegedly threatened to use a razor on a resident, screaming "hey bitch, I want my f***ing razor back ... when I get my ass over there I'm going to shove that f***er so far up your ass it'll come out of your ear."

According to the docs, the most recent incident occurred on October 30, when Bruce snuck in to the facility late at night and barricaded himself in a room. When an employee confronted him, he screamed, "Get the f*** out of my way or I'm going to kill you."

As we reported ... Paddock was busted for child porn. He was on the run for several years, but got caught after bragging about his brother's Vegas attack.

Tyrese Gibson was cornered in a courthouse hallway Thursday by 4 bailiffs who fully patted him down ... this after Tyrese exhibited emotional/irrational behavior on video Wednesday.

Tyrese showed up at the downtown L.A. Courthouse for the custody case that has been going on for more than a week. His ex, Norma Gibson, is trying to get a permanent restraining order against him which would block Tyrese from gaining custody of their 10-year-old daughter, Shayla.

We're told the bailiffs -- all of whom work for the L.A. County Sheriff's Dept. -- were concerned that Tyrese might actually bring a weapon to court, so he was pulled aside in the hallway and given the pat down.

Tyrese told the bailiffs, "Yes, I understand" when they told him they need to do the security check.

Travis Scott did not incite anyone at his April 30 concert to jump from the balconies, and although an injured fan is now suing the rapper, the fan's own mom disputed the claim that Travis was responsible.

Kyle Green is suing Travis, claiming the rapper incited the crowd to do crazy things like jump. Green says he didn't jump but something happened that caused him to fall. Green says Travis and his people were callous ... he claims he was unceremoniously scooped up without a cervical collar or backboard. He says he's now confined to a wheelchair. Green's lawyer says his client is partially paralyzed.

But check out the video ... you never hear Travis encouraging people to jump, you see Green climb the railing, a strobe flash and then the teen plummeting. When Travis realized what happened, he summoned help immediately, urged his people to clear the way so he could get out safely.

We obtained an email sent by Green's mom to Travis after the incident, in which she says her son "does not hold either of you accountable for what happened to him, and he will not take any legal action against either of you."

The mom acknowledges someone pushed Kyle from the balcony, and she says, "I would never punish someone who was trying to help my son. Kyle has said that he will never forget your kindness and encouragement during that terrifying time."

As Kyle was being taken out of the venue, Travis gave him a $100k ring. We're also told Travis' manager and others on his team visited Kyle in the hospital and Travis FaceTimed him.

9:15 AM PT -- Cops are now telling us they don't think Yasiel was targeted. They say it was a random hit by what appears to be a homeless man.

8:00 AM PT -- Puig's probably not sweating this after all ... a law enforcement source tells us the burglar made off with costume jewelry. Total value is a mere $150!

Small victory, but we're guessing Puig will take it.

This ain't the double play Yasiel Puig needed -- while he and the Dodgers were losing Game 7 of the World Series, a burglar hit his house and made off with jewelry ... TMZ Sports has learned.

The burglar busted a window in Puig's San Fernando Valley home to get in, which set off an alarm ... according to our law enforcement sources. We're told the suspect quickly grabbed some jewelry and bolted -- but the whole caper was caught on surveillance video.

Unfortunately, Puig's a veteran of this kinda crap. We broke the story ... back in March burglars hit him for about $500k worth of jewelry. We're told Wednesday night's incident went down at a different house from the March one.

Another big difference ... our sources say this time the creep got very few items. It's unclear what the dollar amount is, but we're told the alarm appeared to have scared off the suspect.

Once Puig got home from the World Series loss ... he had to end his night by talking to cops investigating the burglary. The universe is freakin' cruel.

Tyrese looks like he's having a mental breakdown and his friends are worried sick, but the actor tells us his behavior is that of a desperate father who has been bled dry by an angry ex-wife.

Tyrese has posted a gut-wrenching, almost hysterical video where he dissolves into tears at times and other times shows bursts of anger. He tells TMZ he is no different than an everyday Joe in Chicago who is fighting for his child.

He vehemently denies physically abusing 10-year-old Shayla and strongly believes Norma Gibson is motivated by spite and is making up claims to drive a wedge between father and daughter.

Tyrese also says he's going broke defending himself in court, paying huge legal bills. He says that's why he's so angry at The Rock, who's doing a spinoff of 'Fast & Furious' that is delaying the 9th installment of the franchise by a year. Tyrese says he desperately needs the paycheck.

The actor says Norma's claims have made him virtually unemployable ... essentially ruining his life, but he's determined to fight on so he can regain some form of custody.
