Florida Man Arrested for Child Abuse Allegedly Botched Cousin's Circumcision

Published

A Florida man was arrested last month after he allegedly tried circumcising his toddler cousin -- which went terribly wrong ... and which landed this guy behind bars.

29-year-old Timothoes Powell was taken into custody and booked on child abuse charges earlier in October -- all because he allegedly tried snipping his 2-year-old relative's penis while babysitting him down in Daytona Beach ... this according to the local authorities.

Here's how cops are saying it went down ... Powell was watching his young cuzzo while the kid's parents were away -- and mom and dad got a call from their nephew at one point saying he had to rush their son to the hospital because he was bleeding from his crotch.

As it turns out ... the child appeared to have been cut, and when asked about this -- Powell reportedly told police glass must've been in the little one's diaper. Upon further questioning, however, Powell reportedly said he may have pulled the baby's foreskin down too hard while trying to clean him. Of course, cops weren't buying that -- 'cause nurses said it looked like a clean cut and was far too precise to be any sort of accident like the one he described.

Cops ended up arresting with some other evidence they say they recovered -- including home surveillance footage which supposedly shows Powell acting mean to the kid ... and allegedly walking away from the boy at one point with an object in his hand. Investigators believe he may have attempted to deliberately circumcise his cousin ... and now, he's in trouble.

Powell is facing aggravated child abuse charges and is still locked up in Volusia County Branch Jail.

FTX FOUNDER SAM BANKMAN-FRIED Found Guilty In Crypto Fraud Case

Published | Updated

FTX founder Sam Bankman-Fried is not going to the moon, instead he appears headed for prison ... he's been found guilty on all counts against him in his federal cryptocurrency fraud case.

Federal law enforcement sources tell TMZ ... a jury in New York City convicted the disgraced "Crypto King" on all seven counts of fraud, money laundering and conspiracy ... the latest development in one of the largest financial fraud cases in U.S. history.

The jury verdict came back Thursday ... SBF was found guilty on two counts of wire fraud conspiracy, two counts of wire fraud and one count of conspiracy to commit money laundering ... each carries a maximum 20-year prison sentence.

Sam was also convicted on one count of conspiracy to commit securities fraud and one count of conspiracy to commit commodities fraud ... each carries a maximum 5-year prison sentence.

All told, SBF is facing up to 110 years behind bars.

Our sources say after the guilty verdict came down, Sam appeared despondent and sort of upset ... starting to tear up.

Following the weeks-long trial, all 12 jurors were in agreement on convicting SBF on each of the 7 charges.

As we reported ... Bankman-Fried was arrested in the Bahamas back on Dec. 12 before federal prosecutors in New York hit him with a slew of charges.

SBF was accused of taking billions of dollars in FTX customer deposits and using the money to fund investments, make political donations and buy luxury real estate.

FTX was once one of the world's biggest crypto exchanges, being valued at $30 billion before ultimately becoming insolvent and filing for bankruptcy.

SBF is scheduled to be sentenced March 28 in a case spearheaded by Damian Williams, the United States Attorney for the Southern District of New York.

'Mushroom Murders' Woman Allegedly Poisoned Ex-Husband's Family ... With Death Cap Mushrooms

Published

An Australian woman accused of poisoning her ex-husband's family with death cap mushrooms has been charged with murder ... after officials say her deadly meal killed three of the four people who ate it.

According to reports, Erin Patterson hosted the ill-fated lunch July 29 at her home in Victoria, Australia ... serving a beef Wellington dish she cooked, which is alleged to have contained deadly death cap mushrooms.

Patterson allegedly served the poisonous food to her ex-husband's parents, sister and brother-in-law ... three of them died within a week of the lunch from symptoms police say are consistent with mushroom poisoning.

Meanwhile, the ex-husband's dad was hospitalized for nearly two months with a severe illness.

On Thursday, over three months after the meal in question, Patterson was charged with three counts of murder. She was arrested Wednesday, and on Friday she's expected to appear in an Australian court.

Death cap mushroom is one of the deadliest varieties of mushroom ... and it's found in Victoria, where Patterson lives and where she served the food.

For her part, Patterson has denied any foul play ... she told cops she prepared the beef Wellington dish using fresh mushrooms from a local supermarket and dried mushrooms from an Asian grocery store in Melbourne, about 85 miles from her home.

Patterson claims she also ate the dish and served it to her two kids the next day ... though she says her kids did not want the mushrooms and she scraped them off their plates. She claims she was hospitalized after eating the dish too, with diarrhea and stomach pains.

Shannon Beador Breaks Silence on DUI ... Following Sentencing

Published | Updated

Shannon Beador is finally breaking her silence about her DUI and hit-and-run ... this after getting 3 years of probation for her dangerous drive.

The 'RHOC' star tells TMZ ... "I am grateful that no one else was injured besides me in this incident. I have learned so much from my terrible mistake that night and realize that driving any distance while impaired is too far."

As we reported, Shannon pleaded no contest Thursday and avoided jail time in her DUI case ... but was sentenced to 3 years of probation -- plus fees, fines, 40 hours of community service and a 9-month alcohol program.

Orange County D.A. Todd Spitzer tried to get the judge to give her a harsher sentence for the accident, including 30 days in jail, but the judge ruled differently -- and also dismissed one count of hit-and-run with property damage.

Shannon's lawyer, Michael Fell, tells TMZ ... the judge denied the D.A.'s jail time request and dropped the hit-and-run charge after receiving "legal arguments from both sides," adding, "Shannon had made full restitution to the homeowner in this matter, who did not desire prosecution."

He says Shannon already admitted her wrongdoing "at an early stage of the proceedings," taking full responsibility for her actions.

Ex-NFL Star Vontae Davis Gets Probation In DUI Case

Published | Updated

Vontae Davis has avoided further jail time in his DUI case ... TMZ Sports has learned after cutting a plea deal with prosecutors last month, the ex-NFL star was sentenced to 12 months probation.

According to court records, Davis made the pact with officials on Oct. 23 ... agreeing to plead no contest to a lesser charge of reckless driving.

In exchange, prosecutors agreed not to move forward with the other charges against Davis.

As part of his sentencing, the 35-year-old former Buffalo Bills defensive back was also ordered to pay fines and fees and cover the medical bills for the folks injured during the incident. He also must complete 50 hours of community service.

Davis had been facing six total charges -- including DUI -- stemming from allegations that he drunkenly crashed his Tesla into the back of a Toyota truck on Feb. 4 in Broward County, Fla.

The scene of the accident was terrifying ... both vehicles were totaled -- and shortly after the crash, Davis was seen appearing to be fast asleep next to the wreckage.

To make matters worse, Davis -- who played in the NFL for 10 seasons and made two Pro Bowls -- could seemingly hardly stay awake while being questioned by cops in the back of a squad car.

He did, however, ultimately tell officers he had drank two "mixed drinks" before getting behind the wheel. He added, though, he had no recollection of the car accident.

A civil lawsuit against Davis related to the matter, meanwhile, remains ongoing.

GYPSY ROSE BLANCHARD PLANES PARA HABLAR EN PÚBLICO DESPUÉS DE LA CÁRCEL

Published | Updated

Gypsy Rose Blanchard Public Speaking Plans Post-Prison ... A Lot of Therapy Too

Published | Updated

Gypsy Rose Blanchard is ready to step up to a microphone once she's released from prison -- but it won't be for fame and attention, instead, she wants to help others who suffer like she once did.

The infamous felon, who pled guilty to second-degree murder for the 2015 slaying of her mother, is ready to turn over a new leaf when she gets out in December ... according to sources close to Gypsy.

Those sources tell TMZ ... Gypsy's planning on doing a lot of public speaking and engaging in advocacy work on behalf of child abuse victims. Obviously, that's how she categorizes herself, on account of what she says her mom, Dee Dee, put her through.

Specifically, we're told Gypsy wants to raise awareness about Munchausen's syndrome by proxy -- the medical term professionals have used to describe Dee Dee's actions.

It pertains to a parent who pretends their kids are sick and live out the lie.

Considering Gypsy's extensive experience in this realm, our sources say she believes she can help a lot of other people who might be going through something similar ... and in the same breath, it'll put a positive spotlight on mental health from her POV.

We're told Gypsy's grown and matured a lot while incarcerated, and she feels well-equipped to reacclimate into society and do some good. Our sources say she has a support system around her -- including her husband, Ryan -- to help with the transition.

One thing Gypsy's taken part in while in prison is group therapy -- which we're told was incredibly helpful -- but when she's out, she'll probably enter one-on-one trauma therapy sessions, as she's still working through her issues.

As we reported ... Gypsy was granted early parole last month, a few years before she was originally supposed to be released under her 10-year sentence.

Bill Bidwill Jr. Police Video Shows Ex-Cards Exec Leaking Blood After Alleged Fight W/ Wife

Published | Updated

Bill Bidwill Jr. -- the former Arizona Cardinals exec who's the brother of the NFL team's current owner, Michael Bidwill -- was a bloody mess following an alleged fight with his wife earlier this year ... new police video, obtained by TMZ Sports, shows.

In the footage, you can see officers responded to Bill's Paradise Valley, Ariz. residence at around 6 PM on June 9 following a report of domestic violence ... they came into immediate contact with Bill, who appeared to be bleeding profusely from his face area.

Bill can be heard in the video -- captured on Paradise Valley Police Dept. body cameras -- telling officers his wife, Nicole Bidwill, had just roughed him up following an altercation over some carpet installation.

"She was very upset at me," said Bill, who continuously wiped blood from his head with a large towel.

"I'm sitting on the couch, and she's screaming at me. And I was trying to not escalate because she has a very bad temper."

"And then she started hitting me, and I just started defending myself."

Bill told an officer Nicole "must have hit" him "a hundred times," adding that the strikes were thrown with force. He also said that during the altercation, she picked up a glass cup full of beer and shattered it over his forehead.

"That cut me here," he told a cop.

Bill added that as he tried to get away, Nicole grabbed him and was "just beating the s*** out of me."

Bill, however, later told cops he did not want them to arrest his wife. Instead, he told them to take him into custody -- explaining, "She is not going to tolerate that well."

Meanwhile, cops also interviewed Nicole at the scene ... though she appeared to be far less cooperative with law enforcement than her husband.

She, at first, didn't want to get off the hood of a car she was lying on. She later didn't want to answer questions, telling officers she wanted to wait for her daughter, who's an attorney.

And, when cops placed her under arrest, she didn't want to walk to their squad cars -- so they carried her by her arms and legs.

As we reported, Nicole was booked on a charge of assault ... though, according to a police report, Bill did not want to press charges.

Bill served as the vice president of the Cardinals for several years when his dad, Bill Bidwill Sr., owned the team ... and in 2019, he reportedly helped take over ownership following Sr.'s passing. He does not, however, currently have any role with the team.

Still, following the incident, the Cardinals released a statement to TMZ Sports ... saying, "Two weeks ago, Nicole Kugler Bidwill was involved in an incident that resulted in her arrest. This is a difficult time for their family but her husband and children love her very much and are thankful that she is currently receiving the help she needs. They ask that their family’s privacy be respected as they deal with this challenging personal situation."

'Challenge' Star Nelson Thomas Charged With DWI ... Months After Fiery Car Crash

Published | Updated

"The Challenge" star Nelson Thomas has officially been charged with DWI for his near-fatal car crash from earlier this year.

Thomas was hit with the misdemeanor charge at the end of September in Texas, according to docs obtained by TMZ ... and officers said he had "bloodshot, glassy eyes" as he explained to them that another car had swerved in front of him before the crash.

The docs say Thomas told cops he "only had 2-3 mixed alcoholic drinks," but officers claimed Thomas had a "strong odor of an alcoholic beverage emitting from his breath" while being treated for injuries at the hospital.

Cops say a blood test done while at the hospital came back with a BAC of .178 -- which kicked up his charge to Class A misdemeanor.

He also shared some pics of himself from the hospital, showing gnarly cuts and burns on his body ... and his GoFundMe was met with a ton of love and cash from fans and fellow reality TV stars like Corey Lay, Mark Long, and Tori Deal.

Tupac Shakur Prison ID & Booking Photo For Sale

Published

Two infamous pieces of Tupac Shakur's past now have a price tag attached to them ... and someone with a lot of dough could secure his booking photo, or even his ID, from his time behind bars.

The big sale is going down on Momentsintime.com -- one of the items is an unseen booking photo from when he served time at Clinton Correctional Facility in New York in 1995.

We're told it's going for $35k on the site -- but that's nothing compared to his incredibly rare prison identification.

Tupac's ID is going for a whopping $75,000 ... and it's actually the one he got as a replacement after losing his OG card.

The wealthy buyer will also get the form he had to fill out when requesting a replacement -- it's got his signature and a note that simply reads, "I lost my ID and need a new one. Thank you."

We're told the ID and booking photos were given to a family member once Pac got out of prison ... and it was passed around over the years before winding up in the hands of a private collector.

You'll recall, Tupac served 9 months for his 1995 sex abuse conviction. His first prison ID was auctioned off back in 2019, eventually fetching $30k after an opening bid of just $2,000.

Worth mentioning, the case of Pac's murder being reopened -- with the recent arrest of his alleged killer, Keefe D -- could mean these items are more popular than ever ... so if you're interested, ya better act fast.
