Lindsay Lohan Sentenced to Jail

Published | Updated

Lindsay Lohan was just sentenced to 90 days in jail for violating her probation in her DUI case, followed by a 90-day inpatient rehab program.

Judge Marsha Revel sentenced LiLo after an incredulous prosecutor, Danette Meyers, told the judge that Lohan has been thumbing her nose at the court.

The evidence was loud and clear today -- Lindsay violated probation by failing to attend her alcohol ed classes based on the schedule set by the judge. There were lots of excuses, but ultimately they didn't fly.

The judge said there was a pattern of violations since Lindsay was placed on probation in 2007 following her plea bargain in her DUI case.

Lindsay broke down as she addressed the court, telling the judge, "I did the best I could."

Lindsay dissolved into tears when the judge imposed the sentence.

Lohan must surrender on July 20 in Judge Revel's court.

UPDATE: Sheriff's spokesperson Steve Whitmore just explained ... generally, a female inmate in Lindsay's situation only serves 25% of their sentence ... which means LiLo will most likely spend around 23 days behind bars.

Prosecutor Wants Jail Time for Lindsay

TMZ has learned prosecutor Danette Meyers will ask Judge Marsha Revel to send Lindsay Lohan to jail for 30 days for violating her probation.

Meyers has been on the attack today, arguing not only that Lindsay repeatedly violated probation by not attending alcohol ed classes at regular intervals, but also that the program was covering for her.

Lindsay's Dad to Judge: Don't Make Her a Statistic

Published | Updated

Michael Lohan is begging Judge Marsha Revel not to send his daughter to jail, but he's acknowledging that Lindsay's condition is desperate -- this according to a letter obtained by TMZ.

The letter, sent by Michael's lawyer, Lisa Bloom, asks the judge to make sure Lindsay's prescription drug use is carefully monitored. According to Bloom, "Michael desperately wants to avoid seeing his daughter become the next Hollywood statistic."

Bloom says Lindsay's 84 minutes in jail following her DUI conviction made L.A. County a "laughingstock of our criminal justice system." Bloom says with the realities of jail overcrowding, jail is no place for someone like Lindsay -- for a misdemeanor probation violation.

Bloom and Michael want the judge to order Lindsay to inpatient rehab, preferably a private facility in New York that also provides family therapy.

In the event the judge does not find Lindsay in violation of her probation, Bloom is asking the judge to keep her SCRAM on.

Jenna Jameson: I Tested Clean!

Published | Updated

Jenna Jameson claims she can prove Tito Ortiz wasn't telling the truth when he accused her of being high on OxyContin during their altercation Monday morning -- because we've learned Jenna passed a drug test one day after the incident.

We've learned the results of the test, administered Tuesday by American Toxicology Inc. in Las Vegas, show Jenna's urine tested "negative" for the ten major drugs they were screening for ... a list that included cocaine, weed, meth and oxycodone -- the major ingredient in OxyContin.

As we previously reported, Tito was arrested Monday for felony domestic violence. After he was released, Tito claimed the incident was triggered by Jenna's addiction to OxyContin -- a claim Jenna vehemently denied.

Now, after receiving the results of the test, Jenna is reaffirming her claim telling us, "I am definitely not addicted to OxyContin or any drug."

Jenna's powerhouse attorney Ronald Richards added, "The lab tests clearly exonerate Jenna Jameson of any hint, iota, or suggestion that she ingested or was under the influence of any opiates or controlled substances."

Richards continued, "Statements made by anyone to the contrary are completely impeached by the results from this prestigious testing facility."

Jenna Jameson Alleges 'Tito Threw Me in the Tub'

Jenna Jameson claims Tito Ortiz got very violent -- throwing and injuring her -- and that he's falsely accusing her of OxyContin addiction because he's "very, very desperate."

TMZ just spoke with Jenna -- while she was driving to Las Vegas -- and her version of what led to Tito's domestic violence arrest is brutal.

Jenna claims that during an argument Monday morning she "said something very hurtful to his ego." She alleges that Tito then grabbed her and, "threw me into the bathtub and tore two ligaments in my shoulder."

Tito's attorney Chip Matthews strongly denies that, saying ... "He did not put his hands on her, he did not hit her, he did not do anything to her."

Matthews claims Tito found pills in Jenna's pants pocket -- and that when Tito confronted her she had an "emotional meltdown."

Jenna says Tito's addiction allegation is, "completely false" and "the last nail in the coffin" for their relationship.

Tito Ortiz Jenna is Hooked on OxyContin

Published | Updated

Tito Ortiz and his attorney claim Jenna Jameson is addicted to OxyContin -- and they say that's what led to the alleged incident that got the UFC fighter busted for felony domestic violence.

Ortiz dropped that bombshell during a news conference moments ago at a restaurant in North Hollywood.

Tito's attorney Chip Matthews said that Jenna's been battling addiction to the painkiller for more than a year now, and that Tito and family members have been protecting her.

As for what happened in Tito and Jenna's home Monday morning -- Matthews repeatedly said, "Tito never touched Jenna." He claims that Jenna had a relapse and that Tito confronted her about the drugs he claims to have found. Matthews suggested Jenna was high and just lost her balance.

Tito was very choked up when he said he hopes "Jenna will be okay." Tito also said, "My parents have gone through addiction and I'm not going to let my family go through that."

Matthews claimed Jenna has been to rehab, and that her addiction has led to multiple suicide calls to 911.

So what's Jenna's side of this? During the news conference the former porn star was packing up to leave for Las Vegas. When told about Tito's allegations, she said "he's trying to save his career" -- and then hit the road for Vegas with two friends.

We're told Jenna's dad is taking care of Tito and Jenna's twin sons.
