Raquel Pennington's Corner Did the Right Thing ... Says Urijah Faber
UFC Hall of Famer Urijah Faber is PRAISING Raquel Pennington's corner for talking her out of quitting after the 4th round at UFC 224 ... saying Raquel would live to regret it if she did.
Pennington was getting pummeled by Amanda Nunes during the championship fight Saturday night -- and told her corner, "I'm done. I want to be done."
Her coaches talked her out of quitting and they've been catching hell ever since ... with many critics saying they failed in their duty to protect Pennington's health since she lost in the 5th round anyway.
But, Faber is not one of those critics ... saying the corner did exactly what they were supposed to do -- motivated her to take advantage of her championship opportunity.
Plus, Faber points out ... "If she really wanted out of the fight, she could have told the ref."
Urijah says he would hope his corner would do the same exact thing if he was in Raquel's position -- because quitting on the stool is a decision fighters regret for the rest of their lives.
"It didn't go her way but at least she can say for the rest of her life that she didn't quit."

Jim Jones and his security team threw down with an angry mob, and it looks like the whole brawl started over ... selfies. Yes, selfies.
The Dipset rapper was taking pics with some fans, mostly female, early Sunday morning after he hosted at Club Zone in Springfield, MA. A crowd of dudes gathered and got into a standoff with Jim's security.
After a few tense moments of yelling back and forth ... one guy threw a haymaker, and then all hell broke loose! Police showed up, but everyone quickly dispersed. We're told no one was arrested, and no ambulances were dispatched -- but watch the video. Definitely looks like a few people could've used assistance.
Security did its job though -- Jim came through without a scratch. A source close to Jim says he was not involved in the fight, although someone in his crew had to hold him back at one point.
The source described the chaos as ... "Just an old-school brawl outside of a club."
Agreed.

Nate Diaz GSP's a Steroid Cheat ... I'm Not Fighting Him
Nate Diaz says Georges St-Pierre was on steroids when he fought Nick Diaz back in 2013 -- and won't accept a fight with the UFC legend until he admits he was on the sauce.

Danielle -- aka Bhad Bhabie -- was performing Wednesday night at SOB's in NYC when someone, out of nowhere, bum-rushed the stage. Sources tell us Danielle's security blocked the guy from getting any closer ... and the fight broke out when the guy started swinging.
The melee spilled into the back of the venue before the dust settled. It's unclear why the guy rushed the stage. Cops were not called.
We talked to Danielle earlier in the day and asked her about Cardi B and Offset's entourage beating the crap out of an aggressive autograph seeker.
Danielle thinks no one has the balls to step to her. Hmm ... she might wanna rethink. Plus, has she already forgotten this?

Really good, according to Jay, who told our guy Wiz is the only guy to EVER hurt Glazer with a body shot (over guys like Chuck Liddell and Randy Couture) and if he wanted to, could definitely go pro.

Cardi B on Met Gala Beatdown See No Evil ... Ain't No Crime
Cardi B's sticking to an age-old alibi about her entourage allegedly beating the crap out of an aggressive autograph seeker -- if you didn't see it, it didn't happen ... legally speaking.
Paps got Cardi Tuesday night in NYC -- the day after alleged Migos-affiliated goons whooped on celebrity autograph seeker Giovanni Arnold at the Met Gala -- and she played coy when asked about the altercation. More specifically ... she played blind.
5/8/18
As we reported ... Arnold basically asked for the Migos crew to beat his ass after being rejected for a Cardi signature, and they happily obliged. He was sent to the hospital in an ambulance and appeared to suffer minor injuries.
5/8/18
Everything Arnold said leading up to the fight signals he's already got lawsuit on the brain. Good luck trying to get Cardi wrapped up in all that ... she's got the power of sight (or a lack thereof) on her side. Not sure how her defense would hold up in court, though. Just sayin'.

Yanks Manager Aaron Boone Red Sox Rivalry Is Back!
How awesome is this?!
We just got Yankees manager Aaron Boone rushing to Yankees Stadium for Tuesday night's big game against the Boston Red Sox -- and he was cool enough to talk to our guy!!!

So, with pride and 1st place on the line ... how does Boone feel about the situation?
"It's always big when these two teams get together," Boone said.
"They're a great team. We think we have a good team ... so it's fun to be a part of."
As for concerns that tonight could get violent?
"Nah, all good ... hopefully we'll just see a lot of good baseball."
By the way, Boone knows a thing or two about this rivalry -- he hit a walk-off homerun against the Sox in 2003 to send the Yanks to the World Series.

Chuck hasn't fought professionally since June 2010 when he lost to Rich Franklin at UFC 115. Tito fought back in January 2017 when he submitted Chael Sonnen by rear naked choke at Bellator 170.

Cardi B Alleged Victim Begged ... 'Please Beat Me Up!!!'
5/8/18
The guy who got stomped by Cardi B's entourage was literally asking for it ... and it's all on video.
The clip starts with Cardi walking out of The Mark Hotel Monday night in NYC, and you hear the guy chirping about getting an autograph. She didn't stop. Then Offset walked out, and the autograph hound started in on him. Offset fired back, "Shut up, bro, before a n***a beat you out here."
That amped things up, and the autograph seeker shouted, "Please beat me up! Be a fool, man." Entourage members took him up on that offer -- at first you just see 2 men punching the hell out of him ... then others joined the beatdown. Offset was not one of the attackers.
The autograph seeker's motives seem pretty obvious. He also yelled, "I'll take all your money" to the security guards.
Yes, that's a lawsuit you smell cooking. And we're sure these photos of his alleged injuries are gonna make it in there, too.
