Greg Hardy has been training his ass off as an MMA fighter -- linking up with one of the top gyms in the country where he's been living and sleeping while working under the tutelage of an ex-UFCer.

TMZ Sports has learned ... the 28-year-old ex-NFL star has been training with American Top Team in Florida -- which Dana White once hailed as one of the top 5 MMA teams in the country.

We spoke with one of Hardy's trainers, Mike Brown -- a former UFC fighter who actually fought and BEAT Urijah Faber TWICE in his MMA career.

Brown says Hardy has been living at the training facility -- "He's staying in the dorms we have upstairs. It's for guys who are really in intensive training."

While at ATT, Hardy has been working out with legit MMA studs like King Mo -- who seems to have taken a liking to the ex-Pro Bowler.

So, how does Hardy look?

"He seems to have the drive and desire," Brown says ... noting that Hardy has been taking classes in multiple disciplines to hone his skills.

"He took boxing last night, jiu-jitsu today. He was training with Steve Mocco, our wrestling coach, who was in the Olympics."

As far as taking a pro fight, Brown says there's a shot he could debut in 2017 taking a low-level pro fight or an amateur fight. Stay tuned ...

Rob Kardashian's breakin' a sweat ... and it's more than just alright.

Rob joined big sisters Kourtney and Khloe for a CrossFit-style workout -- with some RiRi in the background for inspiration. Rob was working the middle hard ... courtesy of a medicine ball and some TRX bands.

Demi and Sly strapped on the gloves Wednesday at Jay Glazer's Unbreakable gym on the Sunset Strip -- and she obviously has some ring experience ... of the Hollywood variety, at least.

We got Chael out in L.A. and asked how he thought Arnold would do in MMA ... being that CS had just told us he's expecting his 'Celebrity Apprentice' boss to be at his big fight in Inglewood next year.

Richard Simmons' famed exercise studio Slimmons is closing for good ... TMZ has learned.

The reclusive Richard hasn't been seen in public for more than 2 1/2 years, and it eventually took a fatal toll on his studio, where he was once a fixture. Simmons simply disappeared.

The studio sent out notices it would be out of business effective November 19th.

TMZ broke numerous stories about Richard over the last 2 years, including concerns he was being held against his will. The LAPD did a welfare check in January 2015 and found he was fine.

Richard has said he wanted out of the Hollywood spotlight and was battling knee problems, but others who were once a big part of his life think it's much deeper than that.

Simmons was hospitalized June 3rd, after his housekeeper called 911 and told the dispatcher he was exhibiting bizarre behavior. Simmons later said it was simply a case of dehydration.

We're told Teresa fell in love with yoga -- something Danielle has done for a long time -- while she was in prison ... so it was the perfect idea for their reunion.

It seems like the friend date was legit too, because 'RHONJ' isn't filming right now ... which probably made things even more peaceful.

The old Death Row Records gym equipment Tupac once used is up for grabs, and the seller wants a king's ransom for it.

A little backstory ... when Death Row went bankrupt everything in the office was sold -- from Suge Knight's engraved cigar cases to the famous electric chair ... it all went to the highest bidders.

The gym set -- which Tupac used for his 1995 post-prison interview on MTV -- went for $1,166. We're told the buyer actually pumped iron with gear ... but is now hoping it can score him a heavy sack of cash on eBay. The starting bid is $100k.

Check out the pics ... it's hardly Gold's Gym quality equipment, but Gold's probably doesn't have a bench where Tupac planted his ass.

Model Rosie Mercado went from 410 lbs to 170, but rather than celebrate her fitness ... she says people have told her to jump off a bridge over it.

We got Rosie at LAX where she reflected on her incredible weight loss. You can tell she's happy and excited about the change -- even though some of her fans do NOT feel the same way.

Demi Lovato ain't just getting a cardio workout during her MMA training, she can REALLY SCRAP -- and has inquired about taking a real fight ... so says Jay Glazer.

Shawne Merriman could be the the next NFL star to get in the cage -- telling TMZ Sports he's actually had talks with Bellator about a real MMA fight ... and he's dead serious.

The former NFL star has been training with MMA fighters for almost a decade -- and says he'd be down to do it, if the conditions were right.

In fact, Shawne says he's jokingly talked to Bellator president Scott Coker about it -- but says, "there's always some seriousness behind every joke."

We asked Coker about the possibility of S.M. steppin' into the cage. He told us, "Shawne is a great friend to Bellator with some serious martial arts skills. I have no doubt that he could find success in this sport and when he's ready for his first fight, we'll be here to promote it."

Rob Kardashian and Blac Chyna have been fighting for months, partially because he's convinced she's going to leave him for a rapper.

Sources close to the parents-to-be say Rob's never been comfortable with aspects of Chyna's past. For instance, we're told he's brought up her relationships with Tyga and Future. Our source says she had to stop listening to certain songs when Rob was around because he once told her point-blank, "You'd rather date a rapper than a fat Armenian."

As we previously reported, Rob's spiraled back into depression, and has put on weight while they've been on the outs. Their convos these days are tense ... especially if Chyna suggests he work out and eat healthy. He takes it as an insult, but we're told she's concerned about his health.

Suffice to say, the days of couples workout sessions are a thing of the past.

Ronda Rousey is a coward with no heart -- so says Cris "Cyborg" Justino who tells TMZ Sports if Ronda wants to fight, she's all the way down!

As we previously reported, Dana White says Ronda "absolutely, positively" wants to get in the Octagon with Cyborg -- who's emerging as one of the most dominant fighters in the entire UFC.

We reached out to Cyborg for her thoughts on the situation -- here's what she told us:

"Ronda [is a] coward ... I'll fight her anytime next year."

"You can have all the money in the world, I have something money can't buy ... warrior heart."

She added, "I'm no coward."

"Ronda doesn't want to fight me. She's afraid to say my name in an interview so she has Dana White tell the story for her."
