The Mayor of Charleston, West Virginia -- where "Buckwild" is filmed -- says he hopes MTV will pull the plug on the controversial show after one of its stars, Shain Gandee, was found dead today.

Mayor Danny Jones tells TMZ ... “Of the few cast members on the show already two have had legal issues and now one has died. The show only enhances the negative stereotype the Kanawha Valley already has. I hope the show’s life is short.”

The show has been surrounded by controversy from the beginning ... you'll recall, back in December WV Senator Joe Manchin blasted the show as a "travesty" that profits off of shameful behavior and urged MTV to cancel it even before it aired.

Adding to the problem ... two "Buckwild" cast members were recently arrested for separate incidents -- Salwa Amin and Michael Burford. Amin in connection with a drug raid and Burford on suspicion of DUI.

1:00 PM PT -- Sources close to the death investigation say it's likely Shain died from carbon monoxide poisoning.

"Buckwild" Star Shain Gandee was found dead in a vehicle in West Virginia this morning ... 31 hours after the 21-year-old MTV reality star had been reported missing, this according to law enforcement.

According to officials, Gandee, his 48-year-old uncle David Gandee, and a third unidentified body were discovered dead in the vehicle in Sissonville, West Virginia. There was no sign of foul play.

As we previously reported ... Shain was last heard from around 3 AM on Sunday morning, when he and his uncle David told people they planned to go 4-wheeling.

MTV has released a statement, saying, "We are shocked and saddened by the terrible news about Shain Gandee, and those involved in this tragic incident. We are waiting for more information but at this time, our main concern is for the Gandee family and their friends."

MTV adds, "Our thoughts and prayers are with them. Shain had a magnetic personality, with a passion for life that touched everyone he met and we will miss him dearly."

The rep says production of "Buckwild" has since been suspended.

9:40 AM PT -- Shain has been found dead inside his car along with two other bodies, this according to law enforcement. It's unclear if one of the other bodies is Shain's uncle.

"Buckwild" star Shain Gandee has been reported missing after going on an off-roading trip with his uncle ... and never coming home.

The Kanawha County Sheriff's Office in West Virginia just issued a press release, claiming the MTV reality star and his uncle David Gandee were reported missing last night, roughly 24 hours after they were last seen at a Sissonville bar.

According to cops, 21-year-old Shain and 48-year-old David had told people at the bar they were planning to go four-wheeling ... but didn't tell anyone where they planned to ride. They haven't been seen or heard from since.

At the time of the police press release, Shain and his uncle had been missing 31 hours. They were last known to be in Shain’s car, a red and white 1984 Ford Bronco with oversized tires.

But here's a hint: The video in question was banned from TV upon its release in 2000 because of its depiction of violence against women, and its nudity.

We now know why Ke$ha felt compelled to brush her teeth with a bottle of Jack ... 'cause the pop singer says she once drank her own pee!!!!

Ke$ha leaked the information to BBC 1 radio, saying she imbibed her own urine while filming an upcoming MTV documentary called "Ke$ha: My Crazy Beautiful Life."

The 25-year-old said her journalist brother filmed the doc over the last 2-and-a-half years, claiming, "He got all the things you would want to see and all the things you wouldn’t really want to see -- making out with dudes, drinking my own pee, jumping out of a building, jumping out of aeroplanes, swimming with sharks ..."

She added, "I was told drinking my own pee was good ... Somebody tried to take my pee away from me and I said, 'That is mine!' So I snatched it up and took a chug and it was really gross so I don't do it anymore."

8:15 AM PT -- According to the Nicholas County Magistrate Court, Salwa Amin will post $200,000 bond for two counts of drug possession with intent to deliver. One count for oxycodone, the other for HEROIN.

Salwa Amin -- one of the stars of the MTV show "Buckwild" -- was arrested early this morning on a felony drug charge in West Virginia.

Amin was popped for drug possession with intent to deliver -- a felony. She's scheduled to be arraigned later this morning.

They're both reality shows on MTV that feature a subculture of America doing crazy things on camera and bringing notoriety to their region ... but the stars of the new show "Buckwild" say they're nothing like their "Jersey Shore" counterparts.

Our photog caught up with two of the show's stars, Shain Gandee and Shae Bradley, yesterday in NYC ... fresh off the premiere of their show, which is set in the backwoods of West Virgina.

When our photog asked how "Buckwild" compares to the now-complete "Jersey Shore" ... Shae was quick to kill any comparison: "We don't [compare]. They're both reality shows. We're both just living our lives, but they're not alike at all."

It was a real "puck you" to the New Jersey Devils Monday night, as L.A. Kings fans taunted their rivals with blown up images of an even famous-er N.J. franchise -- the cast of "Jersey Shore."

Devils players may not have gotten the joke, since 18 are not even American, but fans sure did.

In the end, Snooki, The Situation, Pauly D and Jwoww may have been L.A.'s secret weapon, because the Kings won 4 zip, which puts them 1 game away from their first Stanley Cup.

Finally, Snooki and Sitch did something useful.

The Situation is getting even richer ... now that he 's locked down ANOTHER 6-figure check to be the face of a new tanning salon business ... TMZ has learned.

Sources involved in the deal tell us ... Sitch just signed a 6-figure contract with the Boca Tanning Club. We're told The Situation's deal was pretty sweet -- because along with the FAT paycheck, the company he runs with his brother -- MPS Entertainment -- also got an ownership stake in the business.

We're told Sitch wants to open FOUR new salons in Jersey within the next year -- and he's already recruiting friends and family members to work in the shops.

The 42-year-old ex-MTV reality star was arrested on June 19 on suspicion of felony corporal injury on a spouse or cohabitant ... as first reported by Andrew Blankstein of the L.A. Times.

Puck was locked up at the Los Angeles County Men's Central Jail -- where he's being held on $30,000 bail.

Puck is scheduled to face a judge on July 6.

Wee Man posted the footage online -- in which he says, "How can I do something for Ryan? Well, it's something he'd probably do for anyone of us if it was one of us in the situation. And I'm going to get him tattooed on me."

After the tat session, Wee says, "I wish I was losing a bet ... and Dunn was still here."

34-year-old Dunn appeared in all of the "Jackass" movies -- famously shoving a toy car into his rectum in the first flick back in 2002.

Dunn and an unidentified person both died in the crash which happened around 3 a.m. at Route 322 and New Street in West Goshen Township. It's unclear who was driving the car.

We're told the car caught fire in the crash -- and hours later, a tow truck was called to the scene to remove the charred wreckage.

Just hours before his death, Dunn posted a photo on Twitter showing himself drinking with friends.

The University of Florida sent out an email to students participating in their study abroad program in Italy -- which states "any student who does agree to participate in the filming of the show, or who signs a waiver or legal agreement of any sort with MTV, will be dismissed from the program immediately."

TMZ obtained the email -- warning the students that any action deemed potentially embarrassing to the school "will not be tolerated."

The school has also threatened to contact the student's parental units to inform them why the school would be kicking them to the curb.

UPDATE: The UF is now changing their tune ... TMZ spoke with Janine Sikes, UF Director of Public Affairs, who tells us, "Generally speaking, students may participate in activities outside their Study Abroad program as long as they meet the academic and living requirements of that program."

According to the lawsuit, McFayden's former flame -- Kristin Lancione -- claims Brian "fraudulently represented to [her] that he planned on asking her to marry her, but could not find a job to support himself."

Kristin claims McFayden begged her to support him -- so she paid his rent, utilities, phone bills and even gave him cash whenever he asked for it ... assuming he would pay her back when he got a job.

But Kristin says Brian "had no intention of finding a job, and wanted the cash flow so he could remain unemployed, stay at home all day, and play [Kristin's] PS3 videogame system on [her] 72 inch television while [Kristin] was at work."

Kristin claims Brian owes her more than $86k ... including $1,200 for the therapy sessions she says she needed to deal with all of the BS.

Just like Snooki, Jwoww and Pauly D ... Mike Sorrentino has signed a "series development deal" with the network for an unnamed project ... but it's a safe bet it's a reality show.

Boise was arrested in Massachusetts by Lunenburg PD on two counts of defacing property and one count of indecent exposure ... after cops found him urinating in public.

But apparently his bowels weren't empty ... because law enforcement sources tell us he peed on the floor of the cell, was moved to a second one, and then he pooped in his hand and smeared it all over the wall of the second cell.
