Bravo star and fitness instructor Greg Plitt did NOT die from stumbling on a railroad track Saturday ... he was fatally struck by a train after trying to outrun it ... to prove the effectiveness of an energy drink.

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ ... they have reviewed video of the accident and it shows Plitt standing on the tracks as the train barrels toward him. Shortly before the train reaches Plitt he assumes a runners stance and bolts down the track.

The video shows the train closes in on Plitt as he races at breakneck speed, but he loses the battle and the train "clips" him ... throwing him off the track to his death. It happens quickly and after getting struck he disappears from the video.

And law enforcement tells us they found multiple energy drink bottles near the track and authorities think Plitt may have been hopped up from the caffeine. We're told he was shooting a commercial for the product.

One of the investigators interviewed someone involved in Plitt's video shoot who said Plitt was trying to make the point that the energy drink makes you like Superman ... able to outrun a speeding train.

On the left we have Amber Rose, jet-skiing earlier this week in Miami ... while on the right we have Kim Kardashian, putting her ample backside to good use while vacationing in Thailand last year.

Bruce Jenner reconnected with daughters Kim, Kendall, Kylie, Kourtney and Khloe in a clear show of solidarity.

The girls posted the photo on their respective Instagram pages with a short caption about family ... except Kendall, who chose not to post it.

It's the first time we've seen the fam since that In Touch cover making him look like a woman ... which ex-wife Kris Jenner said was flat out mean.

Bravo's "Work Out" fitness star Greg Plitt was attempting to pull off a dangerous thrill seeking stunt -- just to sell sports drinks -- when he was hit and killed by a commuter train.

Law enforcement sources tell us Plitt was shooting a commercial for a new sports drink -- near the Burbank, CA Metrolink station -- when he attempted to outrun an oncoming train.

Sources close to Plitt say he had worked out near the tracks many times before -- but this shoot turned tragic when he tripped and fell on the tracks ... and couldn't recover in time to get out of the way.

As for why he was on the same track as the speeding train, our sources say Plitt was a highly driven adrenaline junkie. A promotional video for his website is especially eerie now ... since the whole thing was shot in the shadow of a rail yard.

The coroner says Greg's official cause of death is multiple blunt force trauma.

Scott Disick finally may be ready to get sober and clean up his act in the name of family ... but you better believe he's gonna make a buck off of it.

Disick (or more likely his assistant) posted an obviously-sponsored tweet Monday, writing, "It's 2015, get up! Perfect start to the year. My @BooteaUK teatox from Bootea.com. Time for a cleanse!"

Considering Disick's recent bender in Aspen just a month after baby mama Kourtney Kardashian gave birth ... you have to wonder if it's too little too late.

Mama June might give Sugar Bear one last chance to work things out -- and she might get PAID to do it ... on a reality TV show.

Sources connected to the now ex-couple tell us they've been contacted by 2 different shows -- one of them being "Marriage Boot Camp" on WE tv -- looking to cast them for an upcoming season.

We broke the story ... June kicked Sugar Bear out of their home last week ... claiming she found out he was two-timing her with several women he'd met online. We're told the marital strife is the real deal -- not created for TV -- but June intends to follow through and meet 'Boot Camp' producers.

She's just not sure Suge will do the same.

One of the stars of Animal Planet's "Battleground: Rhino Wars" just learned there's something actually more dangerous than a rhino ... a pissed off ex-girlfriend.

Azad "Oz" Ebrahimzadeh is under investigation by Memphis PD after Elizabeth Keister filed a police report claiming he punched and choked her during a trip to Australia last month. Law enforcement sources tell us since it happened outside of Memphis they can't do anything.

But Keister also claims she found drugs in his home he's possessing illegally ... ketamine and a bag with white powder, labeled "Viagra." Cops say they will investigate that charge.

But the Special Forces medic says she's full of it ... just a bitter ex who embarrassed him by getting wasted in front of his family during their trip. He denies striking her and says he has a DEA license for the drugs.

What concerns Oz most is his non-profit, VETPAW -- he says he doesn't want the allegations to jeopardize his work to protect African wildlife. He's considering his legal options against Keister.

"Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" star Yolanda Foster says her Lyme Disease has gotten so bad, she can no longer read or write.

In a blog for Bravo, Foster (who has had Lyme Disease for three years) says she relapsed last month and has had a hard time recovering.

She writes, "I have lost the ability to read, write, or even watch TV, because I can't process information or any stimulation for that matter. It feels like someone came in and confiscated my brain and tied my hands behind my back to just watch and see life go by without me participating in it."

Foster describes herself as being "of no use to anyone or anything," but says she will continue to fight and is thankful for the support from her family and friends.

Early Monday morning, Yolanda posted a photo from a hospital in Singapore, writing, "I guess God gives his hardest battles to the strongest soldiers."

"Blood, Sweat and Heels" cast member Geneva Thomas will shell out $18 the next time she jumps in a cab ... because her penalty is keeping her nose clean for the next 6 months ... OR ELSE!

We broke the story ... Thomas was busted back in September after cops said she skipped out on an $18 cab fare. Now a deal has been struck ... if she stays out of trouble until July ... the case will go away ... as if it never happened.

5:45 PM PST: Cops say two men were filming Plitt on the tracks when the train conductor spotted him in the way. He attempted to stop and began sounding his horn -- but Plitt remained on the tracks.

Investigators seized video of the incident as evidence.

Fitness instructor Greg Plitt -- who appeared on the Bravo show "Work Out" -- died Saturday after he was struck by a train.

The 37 year-old was hit by a Metrolink train in Burbank around 4PM ... and according to KABC he was with some friends who may have been shooting video at the time.

One passenger reportedly said Plitt had a camcorder in his hands when he stumbled over the tracks.

Law enforcement tells us they believe Plitt was shooting a workout video at the time.

The incident is under investigation.

Plitt has modeled for Calvin Klein, Old Navy and Under Armour ... and images of his body were used to help create the physique of Dr. Manhattan in "The Watchmen."

Chickadee can stop hawking snake oil ... the former reality star has landed a legit money-making deal sorta -- getting paid to tweet like other big celebs.

We've learned Anna Cardwell signed a deal with 310 Shakes to send out promotional tweets for its product ... similar to deals brokered for Lindsay Lohan, JWoww and Kyle Richards.

We're told Lindsay is paid around 5K to tweet for the company ... but it's unclear how much scratch Chickadee is getting.

Sugar Bear was drinking heavily the night Mama June broke up with him ... but he wasn't dipping into the hard stuff -- the reality star was just hitting the Dew.

Sources connected to Suge tell us he spent the night at a relative's house on Wednesday after MJ kicked him to the curb. Then he drowned his sorrows in Mountain Dew and chili.

We're told S.B. vented to his family about his frustrations with June ... including his belief that she is still talking to Mark McDaniel. He also argued with his ex on the phone for hours following the meal.

Mama June has kicked Sugar Bear to the curb again ... and it's the same old story -- she thinks he's just too horny.

June tells TMZ she told him to leave after finding out he's continued engaging in online romances. She says Sugar Bear insists it's harmless ... he just does it for the thrill, but she's not buyin' it.

Sugar Bear and June have been trying to rekindle their relationship after she promised to stop seeing convicted child molester, Mark McDaniel.

As for Sugar Bear ... we're told he's sick of June's accusations, and he's done with her.

Former "Jon & Kate Plus 8" star Jon Gosselin's family has some new additions ... two turntables and a microphone.

Gosselin tells TMZ he's ready to get the party started as a full-time DJ and go the route of Paris Hilton -- who's made beaucoup bucks spinning -- but he know he's gotta build his skills first.

One of the "Mob Wives" got whacked -- Ramona Rizzo was hit by a car while walking in NYC, and the perp fled the scene.

TMZ has learned NYPD is investigating the incident -- Rizzo says she was crossing Fifth Ave and 55th St. on Tuesday night when she was hit. Her rep says RR suffered bruises and internal bleeding.

An ambulance took her to a hospital ... where she got treatment for a couple of days.

Travis Barker and Shanna Moakler were handcuffed and thrown in the back of squad cars for making criminal threats against each other ... she claimed he threatened to kill her, and he claimed
she threatened him right back.

It happened last month, but we just got the legal docs. On December 7, the two got into a verbal fight over a reality show Travis wants to do with their 2 kids. It's surprising, but the former couple STILL live under the same roof.

According to the docs -- which were filed by Shanna so the family could be evaluated for a possible custody change -- Travis said, "If I could, I'd put a bullet in your head." She then called the cops, who came to their L.A. home. Travis then told cops Shanna threatened to have her boyfriend come and beat him up.

They were then both cuffed, arrested and taken to the station.

Shanna told cops things have gotten extremely bad between the two of them. She said he would say to her, "F*** you bitch,' calling her a "f***ing piece of garbage and calling her "a cigarette smoking, coke-snorting bitch." She also has an email in which he said, "My poor kids have a whore for a mom."

Shanna says the drummer's erratic behavior started after the 2008 plane crash -- she claims he was suffering from mood swings while weaning off pain meds.

Sources tell TMZ ... charges will not be filed against either one. But, we've learned, The L.A. County Dept. of Children and Family Services was contacted and they are investigating.
