Michael Jackson Estate Disney has Unmitigated Gall Airing 'Last Days' TV Special
The folks managing Michael Jackson's estate are outraged that ABC would dare do a documentary called "The Last Days of Michael Jackson" and trash the singer and exploit his legacy.
A rep for the estate tells TMZ ... it's especially galling that Disney -- which owns ABC, and sometimes viciously protects its image -- would sully the image of Michael. The rep called Disney's conduct "disgraceful."
The rep went on to say this -- "What if we did a documentary on the relationship between Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck and some of the rumors they were drug abusers? How would Disney like that?"
We're told Disney has not paid a cent for photos or music for the upcoming TV special, and the MJ estate will be watching like a hawk to see if any of those assets appear in the show. But, our sources say, the Estate's issue is not money ... it's that they think the show is irresponsible and dishonors Michael.
3 Doors Down Matt Roberts' Doctor Acquitted In Overdose Death
The doctor who prescribed drugs to 3 Doors Down guitarist Matt Roberts -- before his apparent overdose -- is not guilty in his death.
The jury returned the verdict on Dr. Richard Snellgrove, who'd been indicted back in 2016. Prosecutors claimed he improperly prescribed controlled substances to Matt leading up to his death in August 2016.
Snellgrove's attorney presented text messages that showed Matt had been dabbling in street drugs in addition to his Rx meds, and argued his death couldn't be pinned strictly to Snellgrove. Prosecutors claimed Snellgrove had been prescribing meds under multiple aliases ... even though he knew they were for Roberts.
The jury bought the defense's version ... Snellgrove's off the hook, criminally. He is still fighting the wrongful death lawsuit filed by Matt's estate.

Rep. Steve Scalise Blames Texas School Shooting on Not Enough Religion
GOP House Whip Steve Scalise says maybe if there was more faith, religion and God in schools across America the mass shooting at a Texas high school last week could've been prevented.
The congressman was at Reagan National Airport on Monday and we wanted to get his thoughts on how kids, teachers and parents can cope with last week's horrific act that resulted in 8 students and 2 teachers killed at Santa Fe High School. Scalise, of course, fought for his life last year after getting shot when a gunman opened fire at a congressional baseball team practice ... so who better to ask?
But, when our guy asks what more besides prayer can be done to prevent such a tragedy ... Scalise doubles down on more prayer.

Prince Woman Thinks She's His Daughter ... Makes Claim to Estate
Prince might've had a biological daughter who was never looped in on what would happen with the late singer's estate ... so claims a woman in new legal docs.
The woman in question, Snowe Melinda Saxman, filed paperwork in a Minnesota court -- obtained by TMZ -- in which she says she believes she's Prince's birth daughter ... but her evidence is pretty thin.
Saxman says she was adopted, and never knew her real parents -- but, based on her "substantial physical, temperamental and aspirational similarities to Prince" ... she has reason to believe she's his actual kid. She also claims she looks like Prince, and has musical prowess like her father. As she puts it ... she's "very artsy" and a "natural-born star."
There's more ... Saxman goes on to say she recently did a background check of herself through a company called Family Tree DNA, which she claims shows she's matched up genetics-wise with numerous people in Prince's family tree, including John Lewis Nelson, Mattie Della Baker, and others. She says she didn't match with Prince directly 'cause his DNA's not in the system.
She says she was never notified about any proceedings in Prince's probate case, which some of his heirs claim is burning cash like crazy managing the singer's posthumous affairs. Sounds like she wants to get in on the Estate ... and stake a claim to what's left behind.

Donald Trump does not care about school shootings.
@cameron_kasky
Donald Trump does nothing to stop school shootings.
Don’t talk to me about the ‘stop school violence act,’ because that does nothing to stop school shootings.
Donald Trump does not care about you or your kids getting shot.
Emma Gonzalez made a an immediate call to action, saying Santa Fe High deserves "more than Thoughts and Prayers, and after supporting us by walking out we will be there to support you by raising up your voices."

James Prince Urged Biggie to Get Outta Dodge Weeks Before the Murder
Notorious B.I.G. and Diddy got a surprise visit in L.A. from Rap-A-Lot Records CEO James Prince -- just a few weeks before Biggie's murder -- and the conversation could have saved his life ... TMZ has learned.
The meeting went down in February 1997, when sources connected to James tell us he'd heard B.I.G. and Puff Daddy (as he was then known) were shooting the "Hypnotize" music video. We're told James had immediate concerns about their safety ... and rushed to the set. Here's why.
James had just been in L.A. with Scarface, one of his artists, and heard a lot of talk on the streets about a possible revenge hit. Remember, Tupac had been murdered about 6 months earlier, and there were widespread, but unsubstantiated, rumors that Puff and Biggie were involved -- fueled by the west coast-east-coast feud.
We're told James urged them to take the threats seriously and consider leaving town -- especially when he saw how relaxed security was on the set -- but they seemed unfazed, and more focused on completing the video.
A few weeks later, Biggie was shot and killed outside L.A.'s Petersen Automotive Museum.
Our sources say James did not have specific knowledge of a hit, but had heard enough buzz he wanted to put it on Puff and B.I.G.'s radar.
We're told the meeting is one of several stories from behind the scenes of hip-hop that J. Prince will reveal in his book, "The Art and Science of Respect" ... which will be released next month.

Banking Heir Matthew Mellon Estate Wants to Dump Crypto Riches Before a Crash
The Estate of Matthew Mellon, the heir to the banking dynasty who died last month on his way to rehab, wants to sell one of his big assets before it crashes and burns -- cryptocurrency.
The Estate -- estimated worth $100 million -- consists almost entirely of cryptocurrency. According to legal docs, the Estate is deeply concerned about the volatility of the digital money, noting since Matthew's death it's fluctuated by up to 30% of its value.
The Estate wants to unload the currency STAT ... faster than the normal course of action in probate court.
It's clear from the legal docs, obtained by TMZ, the Estate has little faith in the long-term viability of cryptocurrency, making it clear they believe the trajectory of the digital money is a downward spiral.
The 54-year-old heir had a history of drug abuse. In 2016 he was reportedly spending $100k a month and taking 80 OxyContin pills a day.
He has a vast art collection, including a Warhol ... and it looks like there may be a dogfight over who gets it.
