"Entourage" director Doug Ellin had a brush with disaster on a yacht this weekend in Miami -- accidentally dropping his expensive camera into the ocean ... after shooting a wild bikini scene for the movie ... but thankfully, the damage was minimal.

Sources on the set tell TMZ, Ellin was stepping off the yacht onto a smaller boat when he accidentally dropped his personal camera into the water. He offered to pay divers $1,000 to find it, but it was impossible.

Luckily, the camera didn't contain any official film footage ... but it did have more than 500 behind-the-scene photos of all the girls in bikinis. Arguably a bigger loss.

Luckily, a local surfer heard her screams and raced out to rescue her ... bringing her safely back to shore. But just like a bad movie, it wasn't over ... not even close.

On her way in, Anne cut her foot on a reef, and the blood started flowing. Once on shore, Adam took over and immediately pulled a Quentin Tarantino -- sucking possible toxins out of her toe.

She was grimacing for sure, but not for long. Later in the day she posed on the beach for pics with fans.

But while the old man dong was out in full force ... an uncomfortable looking Olivia eventually laughed the whole thing off.

Robert Griffin III's recovery seems to be going well ... 'cause the Washington Redskins QB is stomping around the beaches of Hawaii with his smokin' hot wife.

Tom Arnold is half the man he used to be, dropping 90 pounds in 9 months -- but he tells TMZ, it wasn't easy ... he had to cut out sugar and bread from his diet and bust his ass exercising.

54-year-old Tom tells us his son Jax -- who was born in April -- is the inspiration for his weight loss. "My son is already cursed with an old dad, so he doesn't deserve to have a fat dad too."

According to Tom, the diet was a huge part, but he also did tons of circuit training, cardio, and took lots of Arnold Schwarzenegger's Muscle Pharm supplements.
