They say you are what you eat, so it's no surprise failed Republican presidential candidate Rick Santorum loves him some anti-gay chicken.

The conservative 54-year-old just showed his support for controversial fast food chain Chick-fil-A -- whose president has been very vocal about the company's support for all things anti-gay lately -- by tweeting, "With two of my boys, Enjoying chick-in-strips and awesome peach shake at Chick-fil-A."

Then, in a reference to fellow GOP evangelical Christian Mike Huckabee's campaign for a Chick-fil-A Appreciation Day on August 1st, Santorum added, "See you here next Wednesday."

That didn't take long ... just days after DMX flipped his ATV and was hospitalized, he returned to the scene of the crash to finish what he started ... by popping some wheelies -- and TMZ got it all on tape.

X tells TMZ ... he felt COMPELLED to get back on his 4-wheeler just 4 days after he was released from the hospital ... despite suffering a major concussion and numerous stitches from his last ride.

X says, "S**t happens, you know what I mean. Hopefully it don't happen again ... but I am a Ruff Ryder."

It's clear from the footage (taken in front of X's South Carolina pad) ... X isn't scared to take that first joy-ride, saying "You gotta get back on that mother f-er ... try it again."

Country singer Luke Bryan admits ... he was reading from his hand and his watch while performing the National Anthem at the MLB All-Star game yesterday ... and says he can explain the whole thing.

Bryan came under fire from critics who claimed checking one's watch while singing the Anthem is plain disrespectful.

But Bryan went to his Twitter page moments ago hoping to clear things up.

Bryan wrote, "I did check my watch because I knew the stealth bomber would fly over 2 minutes in and I knew a [sic] started a little late."

Demi Lovato took a page out of Simon Cowell's playbook ... kicking a pair of 'X Factor' contestants off stage today for rapping about smoking bath salts ... TMZ has learned.

Sources on set for 'XF' auditions in Greensboro, NC ... tell us the two guys laid down a rap that included the line, "I'm high on bath salts."

Apparently most of the crowd didn't hear the lyrics, but Demi did -- and as soon as the duo finished she furiously scolded them, saying ... "It's really inappropriate to rap about drugs in front of kids."

Demi did a stint in rehab in 2011, and has admitted to using drugs and booze when she was underage -- so, it's no wonder she went off on the clowns.

We're told the audience agreed with Demi, and booed the contestants off stage ... and they were not judged for the competition.

Chicago Bulls superstar Derrick Rose still isn't healthy enough to get on the court ... but he felt like hitting the club scene in Hollywood last night ... gimpy knee and all.

TMZ shot footage of the 23-year-old -- who tore his left ACL back in April -- limping his way out of The Roxbury nightclub around 1:30 AM ... surrounded by his entourage.

Yes, we know, we asked a stupid question considering the situation ... but still, Rose's appearance at the club is a pretty shocking move, considering he signed a $95 million contract extension back in December. Taking his busted knee to a place filled with stumbling, drunken people might not be the wisest decision.

Rose reportedly had surgery on the knee on May 12 -- and depending how his recovery goes, he could miss the start of next season.

Former Miss Arizona Teen USA Tori Vance -- who pled "not guilty" to DUI last week after her recent arrest -- is now admitting ... she DID have something to drink before cops busted her behind the wheel last month.

Tori was out shopping in L.A. yesterday with a beauty pageant buddy when she gave us the blow-by-blow -- saying, "I was coming from Rosa Mexicana. It was Cinco de Mayo. So I shouldn't have been driving. I know better."

Tori added, "I didn't even give it a thought and I had something to drink."

After leaving the restaurant, Tori said she pulled an illegal U-turn and -- just her luck -- a cop car was right behind her. The giant sombrero she was wearing at the time probably didn't help her case.

Knicks star Amar'e Stoudemire is owning up to a homophobic message he sent to a fan on Twitter this weekend -- and now wants to publicly apologize, telling TMZ, "I should have known better and there is no excuse."

Amar'e adds, "I am a huge supporter of civil rights for all people. I am disappointed in myself for my statement to a fan."

The NBA just announced ... Amar'e has been fined $50,000 over the incident -- for what the league called "offensive and derogatory language."

Amar'e sent the message Saturday in response to a bitter fan, who criticized Amar'e for the Knicks' poor finish last season. The fan wrote, "@Amareisreal you better come back a lot stronger and quicker to make up for this past season mannnnnn deadasss!!!"

Amar'e responded in a direct message, saying, "F**k you. I don't have to do anything f*g."

Mike Tyson had a serious problem with banging hookers -- a confession he blurted out during a bizarre interview on live TV.

Iron Mike was on NBC Today when Ann Curry asked him about becoming vegan -- but his answer had ZERO to do with vegetables ... "There's too many prison cells, jails, lawsuits, bankruptcies, women, venereal diseases, too many everything. I got tired of umm, everytime a prostitute girlfriend came back from a trip I had to sleep with them."

HBO and the honchos behind "Game of Thrones" have issued an official apology for putting George W. Bush's head on a spike in an episode during Season 1.

You may have heard ... producers recently revealed they used a Dubya mask as the base for a prop of a decapitated head ... which actually appeared on the show.

Show creators David Benioff and D.B. Weiss insisted the move was NOT a political statement ... but an honest mistake.

The two released a joint statement saying, "We use a lot of prosthetic body parts on the show: heads, arms, etc. We can't afford to have these all made from scratch, especially in scenes where we need a lot of them, so we rent them in bulk. After the scene was already shot, someone pointed out that one of the heads looked like George W. Bush."

They continued, "We meant no disrespect to the former President and apologize if anything we said or did suggested otherwise."

Daniel Tosh will pay dearly for insinuating Rob Dyrdek diddles 12-year-old boys -- in fact, sources close to the "Fantasy Factory" star tell TMZ, Dyrdek actually wants to FIGHT Tosh over a recent on-air pedophile jab.

In case you missed the sketch on "Tosh.0" -- the comedian dresses up like Dyrdek at a "Childish Dream Factory for Young Boys Only" ... filled with shirtless, 12-year-olds on Razor scooters ... and even plies his young guests with wine and drugs.

But Rob -- who also hosts an extremely similar clip show on MTV called "Ridiculousness" -- isn't laughing ... responding to the sketch on Twitter, writing, "The idea of having beef with @danieltosh is truly embarrassing ... for real ... imagine that 'clip show host' beef ... but now that beef is very real."

Dyrdek said he wanted to settle things "the old-fashioned way" -- and sources close to MTV reality star insist he isn't joking ... Dyrdek seriously wants to throw down with Tosh. He is NOT happy.

Kris Humphries' new woman is already taking swipes at her man's famous ex -- claiming Kim Kardashian's stepdad Bruce Jenner's face "scares me."

Myla Sinanaj has been tweeting constantly since she began dating Humphries in mid-January -- frequently about Kim and the men in her life. Just a couple weeks ago, she unloaded on Bruce, writing, "Bruce Jenner's face scares me- it should be on the 'Why not to get plastic surgery' poster."

A month earlier, Myla targeted Kim's new man Kanye West and his diss track "Theraflu" -- in which Kanye raps, "And I admit I fell in love with Kim ... 'Round the same time she fell in love with him ... That's cool, babygirl, do your thing ... Lucky I ain't had Jay drop him from the team."

Myla wrote, Kanye should be "bigger than taking petty shots at sh*t that got nothing to do with him. Lost respect."

Gwyneth Paltrow ignited a firestorm of criticism after blasting the N-word to her one million Twitter followers this weekend ... while describing a Jay-Z and Kanye West concert in Paris.

Paltrow was rockin out Friday at the "Watch the Throne Tour" ... when she decided to send a twitter pic of herself on stage (above) with the rappers and the caption "Ni**as in paris for real." If you've been under a rock -- or if you're Kris Jenner -- that's the title of a Jay and Kanye song.

Rob Dyrdek is shredding NBA star Deshawn Stevenson's decision to copy him and install an ATM in his kitchen -- not because it's uncool ... but because dude is 5 years behind the times.

Sources close to the MTV star say Rob has retired the cash machine he bought back in 2007 when he was living with his co-star "Big Black." We're told Rob's ATM is now collecting dust in the bowels of his "Fantasy Factory."

As we reported, the Brooklyn Nets' Stevenson says Dyrdek inspired him to make his ballerific ATM purchase -- and even though RD thinks it's dated, he definitely understands why a rich hoops star would do it.

In his latest desperate bid for a Darwin Award, Bam Margera kayaked off a 100-foot cliff in Oregon two days ago ... and he landed his ass in very familiar territory ... the hospital.

Bam tweeted the picture yesterday, claiming he had to undergo an emergency hernia operation following the tandem kayak stunt with pro kayaker Steve Fisher.

It's unclear if Fisher was also injured during the fall -- but one thing's for certain ... they're both really, really stupid.
