Kurt Angle Arrested for Being Drunk in a Car

Wrestling superstar Kurt Angle was arrested early this morning in North Dakota ... TMZ has learned.

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ ... highway patrol in Grand Forks found Angle sitting in his car in the median separating lanes. We're told Angle told cops he had hit an icy patch in the road. During the conversation, cops say they smelled alcohol on Angle's breath. He failed a field sobriety test and was arrested.

Since cops didn't see Angle driving, he was arrested and later charged with being in control of a motor vehicle while intoxicated -- which basically means he was allegedly drunk behind the wheel but not actually driving.

Paris/Bruno D.A. Allegedly Scored Coke 4X a Week

The deputy D.A. who prosecuted Paris Hilton and Bruno Mars scored coke 3 to 4 times a week in the crack den of Las Vegas ... this according to the police report obtained by TMZ, and we've learned he's been locked out of his office and is about to get fired.

David Schubert, who was busted Saturday night, had gone to a notorious area of Vegas Saturday night. Schubert, who was driving a BMW, stopped and cops observed a male get inside his car.

The two began driving and cops were suspicious, after the passenger got out of the car, went into a an apartment complex and came back out. When Schubert allegedly committed a traffic violation, cops made their move and stopped the vehicle. The passenger got out and ran, and was subdued after a foot chase.

The passenger then snitched Schubert out, telling cops Schubert would come by 3 to 4 times a week and use him to purchase $40 worth of cocaine at a time. The passenger says Schubert would call periodically to ask if anyone was selling narcotics.

Mind you ... this was allegedly going down at the same time Schubert was prosecuting Paris and Bruno.

Cops observed a "white, rocklike substance" in the car and it tested positive for cocaine.

David Roger, the Clark County District Attorney, tells TMZ, "We are very disappointed. He [Schubert] has betrayed the trust that was placed in him. He's been locked out of his office, placed on suspension and is in the process of being terminated."

Clark County Deputy District Attorney David Schubert was booked and later released from the Clark County Detention Center.

Mel Gibson The Grumpy New Mug Shot

TMZ has obtained Mel Gibson's new mug shot -- taken late last night in connection with his criminal battery case.

As we previously reported, Mel rolled over to the El Segundo Police Department last night to have his picture and thumb prints taken ... after the actor pled no contest to simple battery last week.

The charge stems from an alleged standoff between Mel and his baby mama Oksana Grigorieva back in January 2010.

As we previously reported, Mel was sentenced to 16 hours of community service and 52 weeks of counseling ... along with 36 months of informal probation.

Bruno Mars Cuts Deal in Coke Possession Case

Bruno Mars just formally pled guilty today to possession of a controlled substance.

Mars was in a Las Vegas courtroom with his lawyer, Blair Berk, when Mars pled guilty to felony cocaine possession, but if he stays out of trouble for 12 months, the charge will be dismissed -- as if it never happened.

Mars is also required to do 8 hours of private counseling and 200 hours of community service with a charitable organization. He must also pay a $2,000 fine -- which he's paying today ... because he has Bruno Mars money.

Berk tells TMZ, "We are very pleased that the prosecution has agreed to dismiss the charge."

As we previously reported, Bruno was arrested in September at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino after a bathroom attendant told security a man was doing coke in the bathroom.

Bruno Mars Gets Plea Deal in Drug Bust

Bruno Mars' plea deal has been accepted ... meaning he won't have to do jail time for his cocaine arrest last year, and if he keeps his nose clean for the next year ... it all goes away.

As TMZ first reported, Mars and the Clark County D.A. struck a deal in which Mars would plead guilty to possession of a controlled substance, but the charge will be expunged from his record if he stays out of trouble for the next 12 months.

Mars was in court today with his lawyers, Blair Berk and David Chesnoff, when his plea deal was put on record. He'll officially enter his plea in district court. He will then have to complete 200 hours of community service. It all becomes official on his next court date, February 14.

Bruno Mars Dodges A Bullet in Cocaine Case

Bruno Mars has cut a deal with the Clark County District Attorney's Office, in which Mars will not have a conviction on his record for his Las Vegas cocaine arrest ... TMZ has learned.

Sources tell TMZ ... the D.A. has agreed to a "deferred adjudication" -- translation ... if he stays out of trouble for 12 months and does a little community service, it's like nothing ever happened.

Mars was arrested in September at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino, after a bathroom attendant ratted him out and told security there was a man in a stall doing drugs.

Under the deal, which attorney Blair Berk orchestrated with prosecutors, Mars will do 200 hours of community service and undergo private counseling.

At the end of the 12-month period, the felony will be officially dismissed.

Eddie Cibrian's Ex I Didn't Drive Drunk!

Brandi Glanville -- Eddie Cibrian's ex-wife -- just pled not guilty to DUI stemming from her October arrest ... TMZ has learned.

Glanville's attorney just appeared at the Beverly Hills courthouse to cop a plea to two misdemeanor charges -- driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol and driving with a blood alcohol level of above .08.

As TMZ first reported, Glanville was pulled over on Sunset Blvd. just after midnight on October 29.

If convicted, she could face 6 months behind bars and a $1,000 fine.

TNA wrestling stud Jeff Hardy -- who JUST lost his title on Sunday -- is expected to finally strike a plea deal over his 2009 steroid bust, but the wrestler tells us ... everything's gonna be alright.

As we previously reported, cops found 262 Vicodin pills, 180 Somas, 555 milliliters of anabolic steroids -- plus a residual amount of powder cocaine -- in Hardy's North Carolina home.

Now, with Hardy reportedly ready to plead guilty to at least one of the drug charges in exchange for a lesser sentence ... Hardy tells us, "I'll make the best of it, bro."

Hardy -- who plans to wrestle on TNA's "iMPACT" until his January 20 court date -- adds, "It's been a long while ... but it should get to an end soon."

TMZ broke the story ... Jaime was arrested late last night after a traffic stop in Santa Monica and taken to jail.

She was released on $15,000 bail.

Gucci Mane Committed to Mental Facility

Rapper Gucci Mane believes he's not mentally competent to fight prosecutors' efforts to revoke his probation ... this according to court documents obtained by TMZ.

The 30-year-old rapper -- real name Radric Davis -- appeared in a Georgia courtroom yesterday after filing a "Special Plea of Mental Incompetency" ... in which he explained he was in no state to "intelligently participate in the probation revocation hearing."

Gucci is accused of violating his probation by reportedly getting in an altercation during a November traffic stop.

According to the document, the judge ordered Gucci into custody -- and immediately committed the rapper into a mental health treatment facility pending an evaluation of his mental condition.

We're told Gucci is currently at the treatment facility.

'Rock of Love' Finalist Jailed for Pimp Cup Attack

One of the chicks Bret Michaels dissed on "Rock of Love Bus" has just begun a 6-month stint behind bars for unleashing a bloody attack on another woman with a pimp chalice ... TMZ has learned.

25-year-old Brittanya O'Campo checked into Ventura County Jail in California yesterday ... after pleading guilty to felony assault with a deadly weapon and misdemeanor battery for an incident back in 2008.

Law enforcement sources tell us the deadly weapon was a "pimp cup" -- à la Lil' Jon.

In fact, we're told the woman on the receiving end of O'Campo's pimp smack was so busted up ... she needed several stitches to close the wounds.

Brittanya -- who clearly spent some time on her eyebrows before her mug shot -- twittered a goodbye note to her fans ... saying, "I will be locked up for 6 monthes [sic]. I can only get PostCards, no letters or packages."

TMZ has obtained the mug shot of Washington Redskins defensive tackle Joe Joseph -- taken moments after the 325-pounder was arrested for DUI in Virginia early this morning.

The 25-year-old was popped around 3 A.M. -- after cops determined he was operating his car under the influence of either drugs or alcohol.

We're told Joseph -- who was just activated from the Washington practice squad before 'Skins played the Jaguars this week -- has since been released on his own recognizance.

A rep for the Redskins claims the team is still "gathering all the facts."
