Mike D from the Beastie Boys told cops he's out thousands of dollars in surf and skate gear and now police are on the hunt to catch the thief.

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ ... L.A. Sheriffs Dept. got called to the Beastie Boy's home Friday after Mike D claimed someone broke into his outdoor storage shed at his Malibu pad where he had loads of surfboards, skateboards and other miscellaneous surf gear.

Mike reported that around 15-20 surfboards were part of the heist ... and 3 were worth $1,000 each.

Sheriffs are investigating.

DJ Quik has lawyered up against YG, Stampede Entertainment and Def Jam over what he's saying is his rightful claim to credit on YG's massive hit song, "My Hitta."

DJ Quik tells TMZ he was instrumental in creating the track, but was omitted from the credits and hasn't seen a dime. The West Coast rap legend went on a Twitter rant Sunday calling out YG and his management team.

The song came out in 2013 and and has since gone double platinum. While the track was produced by DJ Mustard, Quik claims he served as the track's engineer, and even contributed vocals.

He says he didn't complain for a long time because he was constantly strung along ... promised he'd get the credit.

He also wants his platinum plaques.

YG's since responded ...

Amber Heard showed up for her deposition Saturday in her divorce/domestic violence case against Johnny Depp ... but she never took the oath and never testified about a thing ... sources connected to Amber tell TMZ.

We're told there was a videographer and court reporter present and Johnny's lawyers were at the conference room table, but Amber never even walked in the room the entire day. She was in a nearby office.

Mind you ... Amber showed up at around 11:30 AM -- she was an hour and a half late -- and didn't leave until 9 PM.

So, what happened inside the building? We're told both sides were talking settlement but no deal was struck. As for why Amber never entered the room, much less answered questions the entire day ... it's a mystery.

Warren G's not sweatin' getting sued by two L.A. rappers for allegedly jacking the hook on Snoop's '93 hit "Ain’t No Fun (If The Homies Can't Have None)."

We got Warren G leaving his concert Friday night at The Canyon in Agoura Hills where he scoffed at claims he and his former Death Row colleagues stole music.

The way he sees it … you don't become a self-made rap legend by stealing music.

A street artist not named Banksy is suing a company for trying to pass off his prints as Bansky originals ... TMZ has learned.

Eddie Colla claims online retailer Touch of Modern is selling one of his pieces without his permission. Adding insult to injury ... they're hawking it as a Banksy.

The painting does look a bit like the famed anonymous artist's work -- but Eddie says the image is well-known as one of his pieces. He's suing to get Touch of Modern to stop selling his art immediately, and to cough up some dough.

We'd say we reached out to Banksy, but ... y'know.

Tamar Braxton and hubby Vincent Herbert had custom wiring installed at their home but went AWOL when the bill came ... at least according to a company that's now dragging the couple to small claims court to get their dough.

Crystal Clear Audio & Video says it spent multiple days working at Tamar and Vincent's Calabasas home back in December ... this according to legal docs obtained by TMZ.

The company is suing for the overdue balance, plus interest and collection fees -- $3,724 and counting. And now we're told the long overdue bill is affecting the small business as it struggles to meet payroll.

The case is set to go before a judge at the end of the month.

The former Miss Honduras is gearing up for a legal fight against the guy who just stripped her of her crown, claiming he got pissed because she chose charity work over paid gigs.

We've learned Sirey Moran just hired famed attorney Joe Tacopina, who's repped A-Rod, among many others. Tacopina tells us his client did NOTHING to warrant punishment. Her contract requires that she get permission to do events with her sash and crown, but the events in question were all for charity and she wore none of the trappings of a beauty queen.

Tacopina believes the real reason Sirey was fired was because she was spending time doing charity work for free, and the guy who runs the pageant wanted her to appear only when she got paid, so his company could get a piece of the action.

As for Tacopina's next move ... we're told he's going straight to the top ... Miss Universe. He's been in touch with pageant officials and is asking them to pressure the honchos over at Miss Honduras to reinstate Sirey.

Failing that, Tacopina's ready to take legal action, possibly in Honduras. He feels the case is "a slam dunk."

Sirey's end game is Miss Universe, because that's a true world stage, and she feels she's been robbed of the chance of a lifetime.

Vic Mensa says Beverly Hills cops targeted him for stealing from a fancy store just because he's black ... but the cops claim they were just doing their job.

Mensa and crew were pulled over Thursday by BHPD as the rapper ended a shopping spree. He says he dropped $4k at Barneys. You can see in the video Vic shot ... he's dumbfounded by the whole thing and thinks it's straight up racism.

BHPD says that's not the case ... a spokesman tells TMZ they got a call from a store owner who accused Vic and his crew of jacking some merch.

Cops initiated the traffic stop, spoke with Vic, searched his vehicle and determined nothing had been stolen. The whole thing took about half an hour.

Lawrence Taylor's wife is off the hook in her domestic violence case with the NFL star -- after prosecutors announced they have DROPPED the battery charge against her.

We broke the story ... Lynette Taylor was arrested on June 2nd after allegedly throwing an object at Lawrence's head during a heated argument ... opening up a huge gash on the NFL star's dome.

During the arrest, cops say Lynette ADMITTED to the violence -- saying, "Yeah, I beat [his] ass. I made him bleed."

LT told cops he did NOT want his wife prosecuted -- and now, it appears he's getting his wish.

But Lynette isn't out of the woods yet -- because she's still facing one charge for resisting arrest. That charge is still alive.

Pro skater Nyjah Huston says the crazy all-night ragers that got him in trouble with the po-po WILL RETURN ... in about 2 years ... 'cause he's shut them down based on a judge's orders.

Nyjah was ordered to stop having his (epic-sounding) Orange County parties earlier this year ... after being slapped with a litany of criminal charges surrounding the nocturnal disturbances he was causing (click here for the details).

The judge was super specific ... telling Nyjah to shut it down between the hours of 8 PM and 8 AM, and when we got Nyjah out in L.A. recently he assured us ... he's obeying the long arm of the law.

"I'm on probation ... maybe in a couple years."

Glory Johnson is a wanted woman ... a warrant was issued for the WNBA star's arrest after officials say she did NOT complete a court ordered domestic violence program, TMZ Sports has learned.

It all stems from the violent altercation with her ex-wife, Brittney Griner, back in 2015. Both Johnson and Griner were arrested for attacking each other in their AZ home.

Part of Johnson's sentence was to complete a 6 month domestic violence program by Sept. 25th -- or else she could face up to 6 months in jail.

But according to court documents obtained by TMZ Sports, Johnson didn't keep up her end of the bargain -- and as of May 2016, hadn't attended a single session.

Do the math ... impossible to complete a 6 month session in 4 months ... so a warrant was issued for failure to comply. Court records show the warrant is still active.

For her part, Johnson has been incredibly busy ... she gave birth to premature twins back in October and has been raising them by herself. She also divorced Griner and went back to work in the WNBA.

"Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta" star Karlie Redd has been ordered to stay 200 yards away from a rapper/promoter who claims she freaked out on him and stole his stuff.

Cops tell TMZ ... Christopher Powe -- aka Pharaoh -- filed a report saying he and Karlie had a lover's spat early Thursday in an Atlanta hotel room and she went nuts, threatening to tell people he raped her.

Sources close to Powe claim Karlie was drunk, and went off on him when he tried to leave the room. That's when she locked herself in the bathroom, and threatened to flush his stuff -- including 2 phones.

Powe says he bolted and went to get hotel security, but when they got back ... Karlie had taken off and left his belongings in the room safe.

Her rep admits Karlie locked herself in the bathroom, but only to protect herself from Powe. The real twist here -- she's claiming she caught him trying to take pictures of her sleeping, and he's only lying to cover it up.

See's Candies has the nerve to tout the word "See's" ... when it denies that fundamental right to those with sight impairments ... so a sight-impaired man claims in a new lawsuit.

Juan Carlos Gil loves his chocolate and often shops online for his favorite confections. Problem is ... he loves See's but the company's website makes it impossible for him to get what he wants. You see, there's software disabled people can download to their computer which converts text into audio.

Gil claims See's website is antiquated and cannot interface with the software, and he believes it's a violation of the Americans with Disabilities Act.

Prince's famous Paisley Park mansion could soon hit the open market, but there's a legal beef brewing that might squash the whole thing ... TMZ has learned.

The bank managing Prince's estate filed docs asking the court to let it sell a bunch of Prince's properties, and Paisley Park is the clear gem on the list.

It's not up for sale yet, but as the bank says in the docs ... "The properties that the special administrator is currently anticipating will be sold, and the appraised value of same are listed in spreadsheet attached as Exhibit A."

The appraised value for the more than 60,000 square feet of Paisley Park is listed at just over $7 million -- and the bank's already hired a real estate agent.

This could get messy. Sources close to the family tell us Prince's heirs will do everything they can to block the administrators from selling the legendary home and studio. We're told they'd rather turn it into a museum.

The company that made floating around on huge birds a thing is calling fowl on Bloomingdale's for teaming up with a rival and ripping off their prized product ... its Giant Swan.

International Leisure Products -- creators of the inflatable Giant Swan seen in pools across America -- is suing Australian-based company Sunnylife for allegedly making and selling knockoffs of its bird ... according to court docs obtained by TMZ.

ILP claims Sunnylife is stealing their product's image through its own swan floatie and making stacks off it ... they also say Bloomingdale's is helping by housing the "Really Big Inflatable Swan" in one of its New York stores.

We have to say ... the similarity is pretty damning.

Now ILP wants the copycat pool toy yanked from shelves and even wants Sunnylife's customers to return any fake swans they bought ... oh, and they want money too.

Just goes to show ... there can only be one swan in the retail pond.

Ex-Baylor football star Shawn Oakman is adamant he did not rape a woman in his apartment back in April ... and has formally entered a not guilty plea with the court.

As we previously reported, the 24-year-old defensive end was charged with 2nd degree sexual assault after a woman said he forced her into his bedroom in Waco and raped her.

Oakman -- who, at one point, was projected to be a top NFL draft pick -- just signed a waiver of arraignment with the McLennan County District Court, which means he's entered a plea of not guilty.

We spoke with Oakman's lawyer, Michelle Tuegel, who maintains that her client is innocent -- claiming the sex was consensual. Tuegel says the two had a consensual, intimate sexual relationship before the incident.
