The artist Childish Gambino, aka Donald Glover, is accused of stealing "This Is America" from is giving the rapper a pass, saying he's "extremely humbled" to have possibly inspired Gambino's track.
Jase Harley released a song called "American Pharaoh" in 2016 that has a similar message and, to many, a similar sound. Some people accused Glover of flat-out copying Harley while others have just seen it as inspiration for Glover's track.
Harley finally spoke out Monday via Instagram. Harley says the controversy shouldn't "dilute the message me and @childishgambino are trying to convey ... about injustices we've encountered."
He goes on to say Gambino had a bigger platform to convey the message and that shouldn't go unnoticed, but the focus should be on "affecting change in our communities and building equality."
Since it's release, Gambino's "This Is America" has been certified platinum and its video has amassed almost 300 million views on YouTube.
Gambino's manager, Fam Rothstein, also clapped back at the haters Monday, saying "This Is America" actually dates back to three years ago, and has the Pro Tools proof. He also added, "But f*** you and your moms, and your future fetuses." Not exactly the high road there.

Al Harrington's Fashion Statement ... I Hate Trump
Ex-NBA star Al Harrington wants everyone to know he's NOT a Donald Trump fan -- so, he wore a shirt spelling it out for everyone in Hollywood.
Taking a page from Melania Trump's playbook, Harrington used his back as a billboard -- his message read, "Anti Trump Social Club."
And if you're not into politics, Harrington also backs Master P -- who recently told us LiAngelo Ball should go back to college and get a degree.
And, if you're not into that either ... ya gotta check out Al's Rolls-Royce Wraith with the suicide doors!

Janelle Monae 'F*** You, Trump' We're Fighting for the Kids!
Janelle Monae didn't mince words while voicing her displeasure with President Trump's treatment of children at the border.
We got the singer/actress leaving Mr Chow Sunday night in Bev Hills, and she went off when we asked about Rep. Maxine Waters calling for people to confront Trump officials in public. Y'know ... a la Sarah Huckabee Sanders at the Red Hen in Virginia.
Not only did Janelle make it clear she stands with Maxine -- she directed her anger directly at the President, and vowed the protests are just beginning.

Kanye West I Thought Kim Was Leaving Me ... After 'Slavery' Comment
Kim Kardashian was ready to pull the plug on her marriage to Kanye West after his "slavery" remark on TMZ Live ... or so, Kanye thought.
Turns out the biggest backlash Kanye faced after saying 400 years of slavery "sound like a choice" ... was at home. He says, "There was a moment where I felt like after TMZ, maybe a week after that, I felt like the energy levels were low."
Ye told The NY Times, he actually called several family members and asked, "Was Kim thinking about leaving me after TMZ?"
Obviously, they've worked things out.
BTW, the Times asked Kanye if he wanted to rephrase the statement about "slavery." He refused, saying ... "I never said slavery itself -- like being shackled in chains -- was a choice. That's why I went from slave to 400 years to mental prison to this and that. If you look at the clip you see the way my mind works."
Okay. It's definitely worth another look.

George Lopez Rips U.S. Soccer How Do You Like Being Kept Out?!
George Lopez just went off on Team USA soccer -- blasting the team for not qualifying for the World Cup.
But it's clear, George's beef is less about soccer ... and more about the way he feels Latinos are being mistreated in America.
"The U.S. is trying to keep Mexico out. Meanwhile, the United States can't even qualify for the World Cup."
"They're too busy pointing f*cking fingers to be looking to see where the ball's going."
Lopez added ... "The same people that are pointing the fingers are the same people that have Latinos come to their house every day and fix their meals, and change their kids, and clean their house and cut their grass, its hypocritical."
"You know what? I have the power to tell all of your nannies that while you're at work ... to take YOUR kids and see how you like it."

Donald Trump Tells 'Whimpering' Jimmy Fallon ... Be a Man!!!
6:45 AM PT -- Fallon responded Sunday night, saying, "In honor of the President's tweet I'll be making a donation to RAICES in his name." RAICES is a nonprofit which provides low-cost legal services to immigrant children, families and refugees in Texas.
It took a few days, but Donald Trump just responded in typical fashion to Jimmy Fallon saying he regrets his 2016 interview with the now-President ... by challenging his manhood.
Trump tweeted out his displeasure Sunday night, saying Fallon "is now whimpering to all that he did the famous 'hair show' with me (where he seriously messed up my hair), & that he would have now done it differently because it is said to have 'humanized' me -- he is taking heat."
The Prez claims Jimmy called him after his 'Tonight Show' appearance to talk about the monster ratings it got, but is now backtracking. Trump added ... "Be a man Jimmy!"
Fallon's playful interview led to heavy criticism and a tumble in the ratings, and he told The Hollywood Reporter "it was definitely a down time" afterward ... and looking back, he would do it differently.
Clearly, POTUS thinks he did just fine.

Amber Heard, Mira Sorvino, Lena Dunham, Sia, Joshua Jackson, Cara Santana, Katie Lowes, Anna Camp, Skylar Astin and others headed to the El Paso/Juarez border Sunday to protest families being detained and separated.
Many brought signs demanding children be reunited with their parents, and some celebs even stood on a mini-wall together to make their point.
Immigration has certainly been the hot-button issue of the week, leading to one controversial story after another.
As we reported ... Trump signed an executive order Wednesday to keep families together, but many in Hollywood don't think he's doing nearly enough.

Roseanne Barr Breaks Down in Tears ... Over Racist Tweet
Roseanne Barr broke down in tears after posting her racist tweet, saying she may be a loudmouth but she would never knowingly call a black person a disparaging term ... despite comparing Obama's adviser Valerie Jarrett to an ape.
Barr's comments came just 2 days after her infamous tweet in late May, on Rabbi Shmuley's podcast. The Rabbi did not immediately release it.
Barr says she knew what the fallout would be ... that she would lose everything. She admits she was wrong but insists she would never "wittingly" say such things about African-Americans.
TMZ broke the story, almost immediately after Barr was fired by ABC and the show was canceled, there were discussions about bringing the show back without her. That's what happened last week, when ABC announced the re-re-boot, "The Conners."

Lawrence Taylor I Can't Condemn Jameis Winston But He Should Know Better
Lawrence Taylor says he's not ready to condemn Jameis Winston for the Uber incident that led to his suspension ... but tells TMZ Sports the QB should've NEVER put himself in that spot.
Winston has been suspended by the NFL for three games after the NFL did an investigation into allegations that he groped an Uber driver back in 2016.
LT had his fair share of off-the-field turmoil during his playing days ... so, when we talked with him out in Georgia he stopped short at condemning Winston, but still had words for the youngster.
"Especially with the problems he's had you'd think he'd make better judgements than that."
FYI -- Winston's problems include a sexual assault allegation, and two shoplifting incidents before this latest situation.
Still ... LT has his own opinions about the accuser's motives, saying, you can't rule out someone that might be looking for quick fame and a quick buck.
"I just hope it's not a situation where someone wants to be in this #MeToo genre."

Tomi Lahren The Left's Disgusting ... I Wouldn't Even Treat Kaepernick Like That!!!
Tomi Lahren says civility is dead -- on the Left -- because she'd never treat someone the way Sarah Huckabee Sanders got treated at a Virginia restaurant ... not even Colin Kaepernick.
We got the FOX News contributor at LAX Saturday, and she slams the recent trend of conservatives being booted from restaurants due to their political allegiances. Tomi backs up her take with a hypothetical scenario of being seated next to the unsigned NFL QB and how she'd handle it.
She says, "Even though everyone knows I vehemently disagree with everything he says he stands for" ... she claims she'd walk up to Kaep, shake his hand, and the 2 would have a good convo.
Tomi says it's all about respect, and the "weak" left has none of it ... a stance she echoed earlier on Twitter.
Goes to show the Left is so unloving and intolerant they can’t even be in the same restaurant with a kickass conservative woman like Sarah. Imagine being that weak of a human you can’t stomach proximity to someone you disagree with politically. Weak! https://t.co/Kdc5Rs8lE7
@TomiLahren
Don't forget, Lahren received some impolite treatment at a Minneapolis bar last month ... so you can't say she doesn't have some experience on the subject. Bryan Cranston says he does, too.

Bryan Cranston Maybe Trump's Team Tips Bad? JK ... Restaurant 86ings Aren't Cool
Bryan Cranston's got a theory on why members of President Trump's administration keep getting driven out of restaurants ... but he's only kidding.
We got the "Breaking Bad" legend at LAX Saturday and told him about Sarah Huckabee Sanders getting kicked out of a restaurant on moral grounds, and after a quick dad joke ... he told us how he really feels.
Cranston says he hopes we can start coming together in this country to find middle ground, because as it stands now ... there's too much hate to get anything constructive done.
He tells us he doesn't believe anyone should be refused service or forced out of a food joint based on their political standing either ... then makes one more joke for the road.

Nev Schulman MTV Finds Sexual Harassment Claims Baseless ... Filming Resumes
"Catfish" has resumed production after an MTV investigation concluded the sexual misconduct allegations against host Nev Schulman were not credible.
The show was put on ice after a video surfaced in which a woman who appeared on the show back in 2015 claimed Schulman sexually harassed her.
MTV told Us Weekly, "Although we never received a formal complaint, MTV and Critical Content immediately engaged an independent third party investigator ... The independent investigator found the allegations made in the YouTube videos to be not credible and without merit."
MTV says filming is back on.

Steve-O on Corey Lewandowski He's Digging His Own Grave!!! Defending 'Womp, Womp'
Steve-O's got a real disdain for Corey Lewandowski but he's all for giving the guy a platform ... cause the guy keeps digging himself into a hole defending his "Womp, womp" comment.
We got Steve-O out in Hollywood on Friday and wanted to get his take on the political pundit's quip after Zac Petkanas shed light about a disabled immigrant child being separated from her mother.
The snarky comment hit too close to home for Steve-O, who is horrified at the idea children -- let alone disabled children -- are being ripped apart from their parents who are crossing the southern border.
Check it out ... Steve-O says Corey -- who still refuses to apologize for mocking the 10-year-old girl -- is only making matters worse trying to explain himself. And Steve-O's loving it.

Pistons' Eric Moreland I Don't Care LiAngelo Went Undrafted ... 'He'll Be Fine!!'
Pistons power forward Eric Moreland doesn't see a problem with LiAngelo Ball not getting picked in Thursday's NBA Draft ... telling TMZ Sports, if Gelo works hard enough -- it won't even matter!!
See, Moreland went undrafted himself back in 2014 ... and he turned out alright -- latching on with the Sacramento Kings for a couple seasons before playing 67 games in Detroit last year.
So, for Eric ... he could care less what happened to the middle Ball bro this week.
"It's OK, he'll come back," Moreland told us.
"I didn't get drafted, you know? He'll be there. He'll be fine."
There's more ... we're not sure who Moreland was with when we got him leaving Skybar Thursday night ... but she clearly wasn't a fan of Tristan Thompson ... telling us in TWO WORDS that she agrees with Draymond Green and Matt Barnes in their tiff with T.T.

'Roseanne' Entire Reboot Crew Welcome Back For New Spin-off
Good news for everyone who worked on the original reboot of "Roseanne" -- they've all been invited back for reboot 2.0 ... except for Roseanne, of course.
Sources close to production tell TMZ ... all crew members who worked on the show that got canceled, after Barr made a racist comment on Twitter, have been contacted about returning to join "The Conners" spin-off team.
We've obtained an email sent to all the crew Thursday before ABC officially announced it was bringing back a Roseanne-free version of the show this fall. As you can see ... it's a pretty happy invite.
We're told producers especially want to get all the "Roseanne" writers back on board. Our sources say several crew members have signed back on and are excited to return ... to a fresh start.
As we reported ... "The Conners" is just a working title so far, but we're told it's getting a lot of great feedback from fans and could end up being the show's name for good.
Filming is expected to begin in late August/early September.

President Trump Compares Pic of Murder Victim to Tom Selleck ... 'Except Better Looking'
President Trump just tried to make light of an insanely tough situation in one of the most awkward exchanges we've seen ... and it revolves around Tom Selleck.
Trump was in Washington Friday, where he spoke to a group about the importance of keeping the country's borders secure. With him onstage were family members of people who have allegedly been killed by illegal immigrants.
Trump invited one woman to speak, who presented a photo of her son to the crowd. 45 grabbed the pic and awkwardly compared the son (who has a mustache) to Tom Selleck, "except better looking."
It also appears Trump signed the photo.
Cringeworthy.
