Jadakiss Ye Needs Our Prayers ... Owes Apologies to Everybody!!!

Published

Jadakiss says the remaining people in Kanye West's inner circle need to help pick him, dust him off and get him back on his feet -- and he thinks fans can do their part too.

We caught The LOX legend out in NYC where he called on everyone to pray for the embattled "College Dropout" rapper, so God can sort things out.

He feels similarly about Ma$e's ongoing cold war with Diddy, and firmly believes they'll eventually hash out their differences. Jada's been hanging with the Harlem World rapper lately, so he's dishing some good intel here.

Waiting for your permission to load the Instagram Media.

As we reported, Jadakiss was one of the many rappers who playfully teased Ye about his crumbling finances in the aftermath of his antisemitic remarks. But, jokes aside, he feels Ye should conduct a formal apology to everyone he offended -- including the Black community -- so he can move forward.

He knows artists are prone to saying and doing dumb things from time to time -- so, he's not ready to cancel Ye, and says he's still proud to rock Yeezys.

It's been a tumultuous week for Kanye ... who claimed he lost $2 billion after Adidas and others cut ties.

As of right now, the future of his Donda Academy is also up in the air due to several educators quitting in protest over Ye's bigoted comments.

ALL IN THE FAMILY

Jada's optimism also carries over to his many business deals.

He recently opened up his Kiss Coffee Cafe alongside his father and son, bridging three generations of family into the new venture.

Luke Bryan Trots Out Gov. DeSantis in Florida Twitter Users Up in Arms

Published | Updated
UPDATE

12:17 PM PT -- 10/30 -- Luke Bryan has responded to the backlash he's getting over the DeSantis appearance, and he basically says the cause is greater than any given person -- polarizing as they may be.

UPDATE
UPDATE

Bryan is definitely defending himself here, noting he doesn't delve into politics for a reason ... and that the DeSantis thing isn't inherently political in and of itself. As LB puts it, he did this for hurricane relief and felt compelled to answer the call when he was asked to help.

Luke Bryan brought out Governor Ron DeSantis as a special guest during one of his concerts this week ... and it doesn't look like the internet is very happy about it.

The country singer was performing Friday in Jacksonville, FL, and at one point in the show ... he brought out RDS to join him onstage, this after announcing they were gonna be raising money that night for relief efforts in the wake of Hurricane Ian.

The Gov. comes out to some pretty strong applause and begins throwing hats into the crowd ... and, eventually, Luke embraces him when they finally come face to face.

One Twitter user -- who seems to have shot this video -- wrote ... "DeSantis  just walked out on stage at Luke Bryan. It’s deafening in here." Her clip has now gone viral with retweets and quote tweets, with A LOT of people expressing their disapproval over DeSantis' cameo.

The reactions speak for themselves ... folks are saying that LB is "off the playlist" now because of his perceived politics -- when, in reality, all he did was say he wanted to contribute to fundraising efforts in the state to help people still struggling to recover.

The fact he yukked it up with DeSantis, though, seems to be shocking some Twitter users. Luke's considered a pretty likeable, mainstream celeb (he's a current judge on 'American Idol') -- and the notion of him welcoming DeSantis with open arms is apparently ... jarring.

Luke, for his part, hasn't said he supports DeSantis' policies one way or another ... again, all he did was say he was going to fundraise on behalf of Florida. A line crossed, we suppose?

Obama on Herschel Walker Sure, He's a Football Great But Not Qualified for Much Else!!!

Published | Updated

Barack Obama was in full-blown stand-up comedy mode Friday night in Georgia -- where he skewered Herschel Walker as wholly unqualified for the Senate ... among other occupations.

The ex-Prez was stumping for Rev. Raphael Warnock -- who's running to maintain his Senate seat in a highly contested race -- when he started to lay out comparisons between the current Senator and Walker ... going on to crack jokes at the latter's expense.

Watch ... BO admits Walker was a football great once upon a time, but says that alone doesn't mean he should be considered for jobs he has no experience in -- stuff like flying an airplane or surgery -- and that common sense people would ask those basic questions.

Barack hilariously compares the sitch to him being hypothetically tapped to be a running back ... something he says he absolutely would be terrible at, and that no one would want him doing. In the same vein, he says HW shouldn't be taken seriously as a would-be Senator.

RESPECT MY AUTHORITY

Walker's now-infamous badge moment during the debate was also poked at by 44 -- with Barack likening it to playing cops and robbers. The crowd was busting up at his jokes.

For his part, Walker didn't find it funny ... but did fire back at the former President in his own campaign speech Saturday. He insisted he wasn't a celebrity, but rather ... a "warrior for God." Walker also went on to say Obama's been absent while he's been on the front lines.

HW listed a bunch of issues he says he's fighting for in his bid to make it to the Senate -- saying he'd be a leader in Washington with guts. Election day is less than 2 weeks away.

Kyrie Irving Pushes Back on 'Antisemitic' Label ... After Promoting Movie

Published | Updated

Kyrie Irving is the latest celeb being accused of antisemitism after promoting a movie that some say is full of stereotypes and tropes -- but the guy's saying he's being misunderstood.

The Nets star got slammed Friday for tweeting a link to a movie called ... "Hebrews to Negroes: Wake Up Black America" which is on Amazon. It's a controversial piece to say the least ... leaning into extreme ideology from certain factions of Black Hebrew Israelites.

The whole idea behind this is that Black people actually have Jewish roots themselves -- and are, in fact, the "chosen people of God" as opposed to Jews of European descent. Like we said ... highly inflammatory, but it's a train of thought several celebs have embraced in recent years. Kanye West, obviously, but also ... Nick Cannon and Ice Cube, to name a few.

Not only does the doc Kyrie promoted discuss this, but it also reportedly spreads conspiracy theories ... including the claim that "white Jews," as it were, perpetuated the slave trade and are, by and large, in control of the media/banking industries ... among other accusations.

It's a lot of the same stuff that got Kanye in trouble ... and Kyrie's been receiving much of the same backlash, so much so that his boss -- Nets owner Joe Tsai -- said something.

He condemned Kyrie's tweet as hate-fueled, writing ... "I’m disappointed that Kyrie appears to support a film based on a book full of anti-semitic disinformation. I want to sit down and make sure he understands this is hurtful to all of us, and as a man of faith, it is wrong to promote hate based on race, ethnicity or religion." Joe adds, this is bigger than basketball.

KI defended himself Saturday, saying he meant no disrespect to anyone's religious beliefs and adding ... "the 'Anti-Semitic' label that is being pushed on me is not justified and does not reflect the reality or truth I live in everyday."

No word on whether Kyrie's tweet is gonna cost him playing time via suspension or another form of punishment. The NBA hasn't publicly addressed the controversy yet.

Lizzo Chrisean Rock Halloween Costume ... Sparks Backlash

Published | Updated

Lizzo dressed up as Blueface's girlfriend, Chrisean Rock, for Halloween this year -- but the getup is catching some backlash ... because some perceive CR as someone not to mock.

Lizzo trotted out a costume Friday that was, no doubt, meant to recreate Chrisean's look -- missing tooth and all -- and while it was in good fun ... there's been a lot of reactions online that aren't in favor of it and are actually condemning turning Chrisean into a Halloween gag.

Waiting for your permission to load the Instagram Media.

The reason ... many feel like Chrisean isn't in the healthiest relationship as it pertains to Blueface. There've been much harsher terms used to describe their sitch.

Fact is, Chrisean and Blueface are in constant ups and downs -- either fighting or loving up on each other ... sometimes in explosive fashion. It's made for some great entertainment on the internet, but there's also been much concern for Chrisean these past several months.

The latest twist in their rocky relationship ... it's all being documented for a new show, "Crazy in Love," which has sparked controversy in and of itself. Some see it as exploitative.

With that in mind ... there's a good portion of bird app users who are taking offense to Lizzo's cosplay, as they feel she's making fun of someone who they see as needing help.

Waiting for your permission to load the Instagram Media.

FWIW, Chrisean herself appears to dig it ... she's retweeted/commented on Lizzo's videos. Of course, there's also the usual fatphobic crowd clowning Lizzo over this ... but their hate is pretty much white noise at this point. Not even Lizzo is letting it get to her anymore.

We should also mention -- there's a lot of people who are loving Lizzo's Chrisean costume, and find it hilarious. Depends on which side of the coin you land on, we suppose. 🤷🏽‍♂️

Tiger Woods Golfer's DUI Arrest Used in Pro-Death Penalty Political Ad

Published | Updated

Tiger Woods was mistakenly -- and HORRIFYINGLY -- dragged into a political ad this week, calling for cop killers and mass murderers to be sentenced to death.

The legendary golfer's 2017 DUI arrest footage was front and center in the campaign ad, dubbed "Just Intentional," which was released Thursday by Kris Kobach, the Republican nominee for Kansas Attorney General.

In the ad, Kobach put his Democrat opponent, Chris Mann, on blast over his opposition to capital punishment, splicing in Wood's arrest along with images of two convicted murderers currently on Kansas’ death row.

Kobach’s spokesperson Danedri Herbert told FOX Digital the ad agency they hired was to blame for the error, but they caught it and fixed it within minutes.

TOTALLY OUT OF IT

Herbert went on ... "What a happy accident that media is going to pick this up and expose Chris Mann as a soft-on-crime liberal Democrat who will let cop killers and mass murderers off easy for their heinous crimes."

A new ad was cut, replacing the Woods footage with images of what appears to be a prison inmate.

Woods has yet to issue a statement about the mix up.

Ty Dolla $ign There's No Need to Ban Ye's Music!!! And Yes, Hip Hop/R&B Belong Together

Published

Kanye West's downward spiral isn't impacting his music on streaming platforms -- not yet, anyway, and Ty Dolla $ign's supremely confident their "Ego Death" will be just fine.

We bumped into Ty$ at Dash Radio in Hollywood, where he was all about showing off his freshly manicured nails -- but we got him to weigh in on the future of Ye's music and the Billboard charts.

Waiting for your permission to load Spotify track.

Spotify CEO Daniel Ek recently condemned Kanye's antisemitic tirades, but said his music would remain on the platform ... and Ty$ agrees that's the right move.

As for the growing contention about hip hop and R&B being lumped together on Billboard ... he's cool with that too!!!

Ty$ says he's happy to see his music on any chart that'll have him. His sentiments are reminiscent of Brian McKnight's take ... which is that music shouldn't be confined to any genre.

Brian doesn't think any modernized version of singing qualifies as classic R&B, but Ty$ point is even simpler -- call it whatever you want, "Just make good music!!!"

That deserves an "Amen."

Bill Maher Stop Making Halloween a Buzzkill!! Costumes Are Supposed to be Offensive and Outrageous

Published

Bill Maher was on a tear Friday night over Halloween, and his message -- on the surface about "offensive" costumes -- was much more of a social commentary about the "emotional hemophiliacs" who are bent out of shape over everything under the sun.

The "Real Time" host zeroed in on media sites that are urging/warning/threatening people not to wear certain costumes. No Queen Elizabeth -- too soon, Bill asks?  No Elvis, because he once dated an underage girl.  No hobos -- a staple for years -- because they're now considered unhoused persons who are off limits. No Trump, no Putin, no Will Smith, no Johnny Depp, and definitely no vaccines.

As for Jeffrey Dahmer, forget about it, despite it being "a sensation on Netflix." Bill references Simone Biles' tweet ... "put the Jeffrey Dahmer costumes back in the closet. We ain't having it!"  Bill asks, "Who's we? Who died and made you 'The Great Pumpkin?'"

As he says, Halloween is supposed to be a festival of the sacrilegious and a celebration of the grotesque. Being outrageous that day is a release valve, he says. Other nations have similar celebrations for that very purpose ... to let people vent and let loose.

As Bill says ... maybe what should be canceled is November 1st, where the "good people tell the bad people what they did wrong."

Chaka Khan Trash 'Auto-Tune' Singers Need Jobs!!! Try USPS, They're Hiring

Published

Chaka Khan thinks singers who rely on Auto-Tune need to try a different J-O-B, and she's even got a suggestion for 'em ... delivering packages to her doorstep!!!

The R&B icon laid an opinionated smackdown on a portion of this generation's studio-boosted singers when she said, "There’s some very fine young artists out there doing great, great work that I am impressed with. But, the others, they just need to get them a job at the Post Office - they are always hiring!"

Chaka didn't name any names when she spoke to Page Six, but feels saddened by many of today's female R&B artists ... saying they lack confidence and ooze insecurity.

The OG "I'm Every Woman" singer's issues with modern music go beyond Auto-Tune -- for years, she's ripped Kanye West for altering her voice in a high pitch to create the foundation for his breakout 2003 single "Through The Wire."

Apparently, Chaka and Usher are on the same page.

Remember, T-Pain made the bombshell revelation that Usher told him his vocal enhancements essentially "ruined" music as we know it ... spurring years of depression for the Florida rapper.

At any rate, don't expect Chaka to tell you something good if you really can't sing!!!

Texas A&M Football Cutting 'Power' From Pregame ... Over Ye's Antisemitic Remarks

Published | Updated
UPDATE

2:14 PM PT -- Texas A&M has followed in Bournemouth's footsteps ... it, too, will stop playing "Power" as its pregame warmup song.

UPDATE

The Aggies have been hitting the field to the tune for a decade, but following Kanye West's antisemitic comments, it's now on the hunt for a new anthem -- the school's athletic director said Thursday.

UPDATE

"Power" will no longer be played before AFC Bournemouth games this season ... the Premier League team is pulling the plug on the pregame song -- after Kanye West's recent antisemitic remarks.

The Athletic reported Tuesday that the team made this decision this week ... following in the footsteps of multiple huge organizations that have cut ties with the artist over his recent, highly offensive comments.

The Cherries had played the hit before games for YEARS -- running onto English soccer fields to the tune as fans in stadiums roared.

So far, no word yet on what song will replace the Ye beat.

The futbol team's decision comes after Adidas, T.J. Maxx and Balenciaga severed their relationships with West -- and just two days after superstar athletes Jaylen Brown and Aaron Donald dropped from his Donda Sports agency.

Matt Barnes Against Trans Women Playing In WNBA ... 'I Don't Like That'

Published

Matt Barnes says he's in full support of the transgender community ... but when it comes to trans athletes competing in sports, he believes "Whatever you're born, I feel like you should play in that space."

Barnes made his thoughts on the controversial topic crystal clear in an interview with VladTV ... where he was asked about the potential of trans athletes competing in the WNBA.

"I don't like that," Barnes said.

"If you're born a woman, you should play women's sports. If you're born a man, you should play men's sports. I think the sports thing is a little different."

Barnes made sure to note he is "pro-make your choice" ... but when it comes to sports, it's a completely different situation.

Barnes referred to Lia Thomas, the transgender NCAA swimming champion, whose accomplishments were questioned because she was born a male and started hormone therapy in 2019.

Lia faced backlash from Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis and Caitlyn Jenner ... who both felt Thomas' success resulted from an unfair advantage.

Barnes echoed similar sentiments ... saying "it's a line that shouldn't be crossed."

Khloe Kardashian Steps Out in Yeezys After Adidas Drops Kanye

Published

Khloe Kardashian was the first in her family to publicly support the Jewish community and defend her sister Kim Kardashian against Kanye West ... but apparently, she's still a fan of the Yeezy shoe itself.

Khloe was spotted wearing Yeezy 350s Wednesday while taking her daughter True to an art class, followed by a stop for ice cream in Calabasas.

While Khloe's still wearing Kanye's designs, True was wearing Nike kicks. So, mixed signals here.

Remember -- Khloe posted a message of solidarity with the Jewish community Monday amid Kanye's continued antisemitic rants ... with Kendall, Kylie, and Kris Jenner later sharing the same post.

Adidas, who makes and distributes Yeezy gear, announced Tuesday it was ending its partnership with Kanye ... and by Wednesday, folks across the globe were scouting out the best time to sell their Yeezy kicks.

TMZ broke the story ... Kanye's looking for a new partner in the shoe game, showing up uninvited to Skechers headquarters and being shown the door.

The big question now ... will Khloe and her family stop wearing Yeezy shoes???

Kanye West Shuts Down Donda Academy ... Troubles Pile Up Over Antisemitic Rants

Published | Updated

Kanye West's Donda Academy is officially toast ... the rapper just shuttered the doors to his school ... at least for now, as his troubles mount following his antisemitic remarks.

The school's principal, Jason Angell, fired off an email to the parents of students, informing them that "at the discretion of our founder, Donda Academy will close for the remainder of the 2022-2023 school year effective immediately."

Kanye himself weighed in on social media in a since-deleted Instagram post ... "Here's the clout you're looking for. My school is being shut down." Hollywood Unlocked was first to report the closure.

In his email to parents, Angell insisted the school plans to reopen in September 2023, adding ... "we are confident that our scholars will continue to advance as the creative innovators, influencers and academic leaders of the next generation."

An unaccredited Christian institution, Donda Academy required parents to sign non-disclosure agreements before their children could become students. There were only about 100 students in total, with half on scholarships from Kanye and friends of the rapper.

Parents whose kids didn't get scholarships had to cough up $15,000 per year for their kids to attend. Students wore designer uniforms by Balenciaga and Ye's own clothing line, Yeezy.

The school closure is just the latest fallout following Ye's hate-filled comments about Jews. As we reported, Donda Academy was booted from a major basketball tournament. Adidas, Balenciaga and CAA have parted ways with him ... and Aaron Donald and Jaylen Brown announced they are no longer repped by Donda Sports.

Kanye West I'm Back On IG ... After Losing $2 BILLION!!!

Published | Updated

Kanye West is back on Instagram, and taking the opportunity to get his followers up to speed on his side of all his drama ... including confirmation he just lost a massive amount of wealth in a single day.

The rapper put up some posts Wednesday night and early Thursday morning after IG lifted restrictions ... one being a meme about "Ye cutting ties with Kanye West," and the other about the specifics of his designs for Adidas and Gap. Perhaps trying to add some humor, he included the caption, "I haven't got super model p**** in over a month."

Ye was pretty defiant, though, about the Adidas divorce shaving $900 million off his net worth -- according to Forbes -- and he's pinning the loss on Endeavour CEO Ari Emanuel.

He directed one post at the talent agency powerhouse that reads ... "I LOST 2 BILLION DOLLARS IN ONE DAY AND I’M STILL ALIVE THIS IS LOVE SPEECH I STILL LOVE YOU GOD STILL LOVES YOU THE MONEY IS NOT WHO I AM THE PEOPLE IS WHO I AM."

Remember, Ari publicly urged companies and individuals to cut ties with Kanye following his antisemitic comments.

After almost all of his biz partners ran for the hills, Forbes now puts Ye's net worth around $400 million.

As we reported, he's hustling to try to make new deals ... Ye hit up Skechers HQ Wednesday -- uninvited, mind you -- with the possible goal of finding a new manufacturing and distribution partner for Yeezy.

He struck out at the Jewish-owned and operated company ... as security immediately escorted him out of the building.

Kanye West Hey Skechers, Got Room for Me??? Shows Up Uninvited at HQ

Published | Updated
UPDATE

5:48 AM PT -- 10/27 -- TMZ just obtained 2 additional photos of Kanye West at Manhattan Bread & Bagel in Manhattan Beach on Wednesday. We're told Kanye was with a friend who ordered some food for them and they sat at a table in the corner of the shop.

UPDATE
UPDATE

Kanye noshed on a bagel as customers peered over at him, but kept their distance. Kanye then left and went to Sketchers.

Kanye West is making a quick move to find a new home for his Yeezy shoes ... hitting Skechers headquarters to talk with the company's honchos, but immediately got turned away.

Sources familiar with Ye's visit tell us he was at the company's main office Wednesday morning in Manhattan Beach, CA ... but this was not a scheduled meeting with management.

Skechers says, Ye "arrived unannounced and without invitation at one of Skechers’ corporate offices in Los Angeles. Considering Ye was engaged in unauthorized filming, two Skechers executives escorted him and his party from the building after a brief conversation."

Now, we don't know if Kanye did his research or not, but Skechers is owned and operated by a Jewish family -- Robert Greenberg founded it, and his son Michael is currently the President. Considering his rampant anti-Semitism, you could say he barked up the wrong tree.

A spokesperson tells us, "Skechers is not considering and has no intention of working with West. We condemn his recent divisive remarks and do not tolerate antisemitism or any other form of hate speech. Again, West showed up unannounced and uninvited to Skechers corporate offices."

We're guessing Kanye's goal was for Skechers to be his new partner for the Yeezy shoe brand -- working both as a manufacturer and distributor, as Adidas did before it dropped him this week. Well, he struck out.

Still, Kanye was also spotted in good spirits at a local bagel shop before his meeting -- his smile certainly doesn't look like that of a man out $900 million -- a figure reported by Forbes.

As we reported, Kanye's anti-Semitic comments were the final straw for several business and professional relationships for Kanye -- including Balenciaga, his legal team and of course, Adidas who have all dropped him in the last few weeks.

Kanye West Peloton Swears Off His Music ... For All Future Classes

Published | Updated

Kanye West is persona non grata for Peloton -- the exercise company is banning his music from any new future classes.

Peloton took a stance Wednesday in a statement to Pelobuddy ... "We take this issue very seriously and can confirm Peloton indefinitely paused the use of Kanye West’s music on our platform. This means our instructors are no longer using his music in any newly produced classes and we are not suggesting any class that includes his music in our proactive recommendations to Members."

They add, "You should know this was a decision we made immediately following his remarks. Again, thank you for sharing your concerns and thank you for being a Member of our Peloton community."

The statement comes on the heels of Peloton's Alex Toussaint -- a popular cycling instructor -- declaring he would not be playing Ye's tunes during any of his classes. He said this on Monday during his Hip Hop Ride at 7 PM ET ... without ever naming the guy.

Toussaint said he doesn't tolerate hate speech and that he stands with the Jewish community -- going on to promise he would foster a safe space and not play "that artist." It seems his bosses felt that policy should apply across the board ... and it's a big deal.

There's been a lot of folks wondering what might happen to Kanye's music as he continues to fall from grace. Until now, there hadn't been many rumblings about censoring//muting his catalog -- but at this point, it appears the door's starting to be opened a bit.

This could potentially hurt him big time if it's adopted en masse -- as Forbes noted, much of his current $400 million estimated net worth is made up from music royalties. And, if enough people stop playing him all at once, that could affect his bottom line tremendously.
