Charlie Sheen Persona Non Grata at 'Men'

Published | Updated

There are reports out today that Charlie Sheen might come back to "Two and a Half Men." TMZ sources directly connected to the production of the show insist ... Charlie will NEVER be invited back.

One report suggests CBS honcho Les Moonves has been putting pressure on Warner Bros. to take Charlie back. "Absolutely false," say our sources. Moonves has not even weighed in.

Charlie has been almost pleading for his job back, even making the pitch during his show. And behind the scenes Charlie's people have been making calls, but Warner Bros. has closed the book on Charlie.

As for the future of "Two and a Half Men", no decisions have been made on what to do with the show. Warner Bros. has until May 18, when CBS announces its fall lineup.

Stay tuned ...

50 Cent Frightens Security at 'Scream 4' Party

Published | Updated

50 Cent created a security nightmare for the people handling a SMALL "Scream 4" afterparty tonight ... when he passed along the event details to a few MILLION people.

TMZ has learned ... 50 and the Weinstein Brothers are co-hosting the party at a restaurant in NY tonight ... an event that was only supposed to cater to roughly 100 people.

But event organizers freaked out when they noticed 50 posted the invitation on his Twitter page -- because 50 has 4 million followers ... and they now have to prep in case an army of fans try to crash.

According to Mike Zimet, event security specialist for the Weinstein Company, additional security has already been called in... because, "While we appreciate 50's enthusiasm, we are not quite prepared in the event that his 4 million followers turn up."

'American Idol' -- We Don't Discriminate!

Published | Updated

The honchos at "American Idol" are scoffing at the claim of an audience member who says she was banished to the back of the studio because she was "just too big, too heavy to be in front."

Manfred Westphal, who heads up communications for Fremantle (which produces "Idol"), tells TMZ, 19-year-old Ashley Kauffman and her party of 6 were some of the first audience members to arrive for the April 7, 2011 show. Westphal says, "Our audience coordinator explained they had 6 great seats on the floor; however, the seats were in 2 groups of 3."

Westphal says Kauffman and her party agreed to be split up. And, Westphal says, contrary to Kauffman's allegation, she was not sent alone to the back of the studio. Westphal says Kauffman and 2 others in her party were seated 4 rows behind their friends, "directly in camera shot, in some of the best seats in the house."

Westphal says, "At 'American Idol,' we always strive to assure that every audience member has the best experience possible, and these allegations are simply untrue."

A live-action Batman play is all set to hit the road later this year -- and today in London, producers unveiled the new costumes ... and they look pretty freaking sweet.

"Batman Live" is NOT a musical like the Spiderman fiasco -- but producers say it will feature stunts, pyrotechnics, illusions and video screen sequences. The arena tour is set to start in Manchester in July ... followed by a North American tour in 2012.

Published | Updated

With their super-sized matching brassy blonde tentacle weaves already in place, Lindsay Lohan, 24, proved she has the look down to play Victoria Gotti, 48, at a NYC press conference for the Gotti family biopic today.

This is a killer role for LiLo.

Kelsey Grammer Enters Reality Show Biz

Published | Updated

Kelsey Grammer has launched a reality TV production company -- yes, REALITY TV -- and TMZ has learned several networks are already interested in his first show.

According to our sources, the show is centered around 3 single girls living in NYC who started the website ThatsNotOkayNY.com.

Grammer has teamed up with executive producers Stella Stolper and Brian Sher -- the forces behind T.I.'s old reality show on MTV -- to form the new company, G3 Productions.

We're told a sales tape has been shot and it's already receiving strong network interest ... but so far ... no deals.

Eddie Murphy -- I'm Shrek'd Out!

Published | Updated

Eddie Murphy's days as a donkey are OVER ... because last night outside Mastro's steakhouse, the comic legend told us, "No more Shrek ... I'm Shrek'd out!"

Maybe he'll finally get back into stand-up (fingers crossed)?????

Real-Life Warlock Boycott Natalie Portman's Movie

Published | Updated

Charlie Sheen just caught a break -- because TMZ has learned, the real-life warlock he pissed off last month has focused his wrath on a fresh target ... the new Natalie Portman comedy "Your Highness."

Salem-based spellcaster Christian Day -- who even runs his own little witchcraft shop called HEX -- is pissed at Hollywood for its constant negative portrayals of warlocks in movies ... and now, he's calling for an all-out boycott of "Your Highness" for its anti-warlock messages.

Christian calls the movie an "assault on taste" for casting a warlock "who hopes to deflower helpless virgins and rule the world" -- telling TMZ, "Hollywood continues to cast Witches and Warlocks as negative roles when we're the good guys and gals!"

Christian adds, "I hope people boycott this movie and movies like it so that Hollywood is inspired to release more positive films about Witches and Warlocks."

Eat your heart out, Harry Potter.

"Idol" Fans -- Get Rid of Stefano, Bring Back Pia!

Published | Updated

"American Idol" fans are bombarding the show and FOX ... demanding they bring Pia Toscano back ... and give Stefano Langone the boot.

Our "Idol" spies tell us hundreds of fans have been begging FOX to recognize the injustice of kicking Pia off the show, and bend the rules. It appears these fans are organized, because they come with a singular message -- Stefano has no chance of winning and therefore he should be removed now as a sacrificial lamb so Pia can come back.

We're told the fans have even reached out to Stefano ... pleading with him to remove himself from the competition.

Certainly nothing like what the fans are asking for has ever happened on "Idol" -- but hey, it never hurts to try.

Jon Cryer -- No Time for Charlie

Published | Updated

Jon Cryer and Charlie Sheen are both in New York City this weekend, but don't expect the former co-stars to get together over tiger blood ... sources tell TMZ.

Sheen has been in the Tri-State area performing his less-than-stellar stage show, while Cryer appeared in a production of the Stephen Sondheim musical "Company" with the New York Philharmonic. Almost the same thing.

But a source close to Cryer tells us Jon will not attend Sheen's show ... the politically-correct reason cited is "busy schedule."

The fact Sheen called him a troll probably has something to do with it.

Mel Gibson Vindicated by "Hangover 2" Switcheroo

Published | Updated

The director who wanted Mel Gibson for the sequel to "The Hangover" -- and then changed his mind and humiliated him by dropping him from the project -- has changed his mind yet again ... and now Liam Neeson is out of the role originally slated for Mel in the first place.

You'll remember ... director Todd Phillips wussed out and dropped Mel after the cast objected to him for personal reasons. So Phillips brought Neeson on board and shot Mel's scenes with Neeson. But Phillips's fickle finger struck again and the director decided he wanted Neeson to re-shoot his role.

Sadly, planning wasn't Todd's strong suit and Liam couldn't re-shoot his role because he was already filming "Clash of the TItans 2."

The cursed role has been given to actor Nick Cassavetes ... for now. But if you're a male actor in your 50s, keep your headshot handy, just in case.

Charlie Sheen in NYC -- From Good to Bad

Published | Updated

Charlie Sheen cruised into Radio City Music Hall tonight sporting a New York Yankees hat and shirt -- but his Big Apple debut went sour fast.

Sheen took the stage around 8:37 PM ET to a semi-standing ovation. The crowd was mostly on his side ... but booed him when he said he quit drugs. Security tossed out a few hecklers early on.

Charlie invited "Two and a Half Men" creator Chuck Lorre to join him on stage at Radio City for Sunday night's show to "work this s**t out. Of course I want my job back man!"

Our sources connected to "Men" tell us producers will never let Sheen back on the show. Sorry, Charlie.

Sheen told barely coherent stories about the different hotels he stayed in, his incident at the plaza, locking himself in an airplane bathroom with a seven-gram cocaine rock, and how he once performed CPR on a model in a heroin coma. Who hasn't?

But by the end, Charlie had lost the crowd. The show ended abruptly -- roughly 30 minutes shorter than Sheen's shows in Ohio -- to a mix of boos and cheers ... but the boos carried the night.

Charlie's closer -- "I love you New York ... you're the best crowd ever. Well, some of you."

On his way out, Charlie was met by several fans and autograph seekers, but he seemed focused on just getting out of there.

Idol's 'Haunted' Mansion -- $12 Million Price Tag

Published | Updated

Must be tough to rent out a giant mansion after several frightened "American Idol" contestants accuse the place of being haunted -- because TMZ has learned, the place is now up for sale ... for $12 million.

The private gated 15,000 square foot home sits on a 2-acre compound -- and features a giant pool, one especially large room with a 28-foot ceiling ... basically marble everything ... and a "motor court" with enough room to park 100 CARS.

In other words, it's the perfect home for scary ghosts.

'The Wood' Star -- Emotional Prison Release Video

Published | Updated

Actor De'aundre Bonds was released from prison last month after serving nearly 10 years behind bars for manslaughter -- and TMZ has emotional footage of his first moments of freedom.

In 2001, Bonds -- who had roles in films like "The Wood," "Get on the Bus," and "Sunset Park" -- was convicted of manslaughter in the death of his aunt's boyfriend. He was finally released from Chuckawalla Valley State Prison on March 29, where his mom was there to pick him up.

Bonds tells TMZ he had a rough go of it in prison, but he's looking forward to getting his career back on track: "I am trying to get like Jamie Foxx, get that Oscar. Next up, you will hear De’aundre will get that Oscar."

Maybe take it one step at a time.

Pia After 'Idol' -- 'Everyone Was Sobbing'

Published | Updated

Pia Toscano and the rest of the "American idol" finalists were a crying mess after the 22-year-old's shocking elimination last night -- sources connected with the show tell TMZ.

"Everyone was sobbing" after the show, says one of our "Idol" spies. We're told Pia was probably the most popular contestant among the contestants, and, "They were totally bummed out she was leaving."

The contestants -- sans Pia -- showed up for the "Kiss Off Dinner" at a restaurant in L.A. Pia made her entrance after everyone was seated ... followed by tears, more tears, and then one of the producers put it in perspective to make it all better, saying, "The point of 'Idol' is to launch careers. Pia, you're launched."

We're told Pia didn't check out of the "Idol" hotel last night, but she'll be out of there today.

UPDATE: Apparently, Pia ran out of tears, because earlier today she was seen out in L.A. with a big, fat smile on her face.
