Ryan Jenkins Now a Murder Suspect

Published | Updated

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ the Buena Park Police Department has obtained an arrest warrant for Ryan Jenkins and they now consider him a "suspect" in his wife's murder.

We've learned the PD got a "Ramey Warrant" -- an arrest warrant that allows police to bypass the D.A. and go directly to the judge. A Ramey Warrant is often sought when a suspect is fleeing from the jurisdiction.

In order to get a Ramey Warrant, police must prove there is probable cause to believe the suspect committed a felony. In this case we're told a judge decided there was probable cause to believe Jenkins was involved in the murder of his wife, Jasmine Fiore.

Reality Star Jenkins Flees to Canada

Published | Updated

Sheriff's deputies in Washington state now tell TMZ that they believe Ryan Alexander Jenkins has escaped to Canada by foot.

Jenkins is Canadian, and cops in California wanted to talk to him about the death of his wife, model Jasmine Fiore. Her body was found in a suitcase in Orange County last weekend. Customs tells us Jenkins is now a "potential suspect" in her killing.

Here's what we know straight from the Whatcom County Sheriff's Dept. in Washington State, which is just over the border from Canada:

- Yesterday evening a witness reported seeing someone matching Jenkins' description driving a black BMW SUV (we know he owned one) with a boat in tow in a marina which is extremely close to the Canadian border.

- A short time later deputies found the boat and the SUV abandoned.

- A manhunt then began for Jenkins by land, sea, and air, conducted by federal agents, deputies, cops, and Canadian authorities.

- They were unable to find Jenkins and now think that he literally made a run for the border -- crossing over by foot.

The Prez's Vacation -- In a Category 4 of Its Own

Published | Updated

President Barack Obama is set to take Martha's Vineyard by storm this Sunday for a little R & R-- but guess who's also gunning to stop by M.V. on the same day? Hurricane Bill.

The National Hurricane Center tells us if Bill stays on course, the tiny Massachusetts island could easily succumb to the power of Mother Nature right when the Prez is scheduled to make landfall -- but it's a freakin' hurricane, so who knows.

Ironically, The Oak Bluffs School -- the place the White House is renting out to host its press corps -- is also the town's evacuation center. The principal for the school, Laury Binney, told us if Bill rolls through town it could get pretty "interesting" having families and the media all holed up in the same shelter.

At least the press corps won't have far to go.

Published | Updated

An official from the L.A. County Coroner's office has just returned to Dr. Arnold Klein's office in Beverly Hills to retrieve more files in the Michael Jackson case.

Assistant Chief Coroner Ed Winter just told our photog he was there for more MJ medical files.

UPDATE: Winter has left, but wouldn't comment on whether or not anything was taken from Klein's office.

Dr. Klein's lawyer briefly addressed the press after Winter left, saying a subpoena was served but Winter wasn't looking for documents -- instead he wanted more information about docs the coroner's office had already seized. Dr. Klein's lawyer said they cooperated fully with Winter's requests.

Murdered Model's Husband Brags About $$$

Published | Updated

The "person of interest" in the model murder case bragged to friends he won a boatload of money on a reality show he appeared on after his stint on VH1's "Megan Wants a Millionaire."

Ryan Alexander Jenkins appeared on "I Love Money" Season 3, just after marrying Jasmine Fiore last March. Ryan told several people who have spoken with us that he was the show's winner, pulling in $250,000, though we have not confirmed this with the show.

We're told Jenkins traveled to Mexico for the taping of the reality show, which wrapped around 4 weeks ago.

During the taping, we're told Jenkins constantly talked about Jasmine and how "she was the love of my life."

Producers of "I Love Money" did not return our calls.

UPDATE: VH1 has issued the following statement:

"Ryan Jenkins was a contestant on 'Megan Wants A Millionaire', an outside production, produced and owned by 51 Minds, that is licensed to VH1. The show completed production at the end of March. Given the unfortunate circumstances, VH1 has postponed any future airings. This is a tragic situation and our thoughts go out to the victim's family."

Violence Erupts Outside Lil Wayne's Tour Bus

Published | Updated

A hailstorm of stones and bottles rocked a Lil Wayne tour bus after a concert in Arizona last week -- and cops say at least one shot was fired in the melee.

According to police, it all went down after Wayne's show last Wednesday at the Cricket Pavilion in suburban Phoenix -- when 2 buses from his 4-bus entourage stopped at a nearby apartment complex.

Law enforcement sources tell us witnesses saw several women getting on and off the buses -- and it was then that certain people in the complex began to get violent.

Witnesses told police they heard at least one shot fired during the altercation -- though it's unclear who fired it.

Cops arrived to the scene and broke things up -- but we've learned a 15-year-old boy has since filed a police report claiming one of Wayne's bodyguards roughed him up during the chaos, bruising a few of his ribs.

Cops interviewed Wayne at a nearby hotel after the incident, where the rapper told cops he was on one of the buses when the attack started -- but his bus took off almost immediately.

Calls to Wayne's people have not yet been returned.

'Hi, Billy Mays Possible Replacement Here...'

Published | Updated

It's over before it even began -- the company that was going to hold open auditions for Billy Mays' replacement has pulled the plug on the project, instead offering the spot to one of Billy's closest friends.

The President of Mighty Brand, Bill McAlister, tells TMZ they realized Mays was "irreplaceable" and have made an offer to Anthony Sullivan, his "Pitchmen" co-star. If Sullivan turns 'em down, the commercials will be strictly voice-overs.

We're told the deal thrown at Sullivan is the same one Mays had -- which is a "royalty contract" that netted Mays millions.

Shaq Vs. ... A Man Claiming the Show Is a Rip-Off

Published | Updated

The idea for Shaquille O'Neal's new show "Shaq Vs." is already accused of being stolen -- and it hasn't even hit the airwaves yet.

Author Todd Gallagher alleges William Morris Endeavor Entertainment -- the agency repping Todd -- approached him to turn his book "Andy Roddick Beat Me with a Frying Pan" into a TV show sometime last year ... then hijacked his idea and turned it into "Shaq Vs."

Todd's book was based on him competing against professional athletes who agreed to play with handicaps -- such as Roddick using a frying pan instead of a tennis racket.

The allegations are part of a letter fired off to Endeavor, in which Todd's lawyers claim the company "intentionally cut him out ... creatively and financially" and then got another one of their clients -- Shaquille O'Neal -- to fill in for him.

Todd's lawyers want to meet up with Endeavor for a possible settlement discussion -- if this doesn't happen, they intend to file a "lawsuit prior to the Show being aired on August 18th."

Time is tickin'.

We got a "no comment" from both sides.

Celebrity Threesome Tape -- They'll Sue

Published | Updated

It didn't take long -- TMZ has learned there's already a legal war raging over the Eric Dane, Rebecca Gayheart naked threesome tape.

Legal pit bull Marty Singer, who reps Dane and Gayheart, tells us he will sue anyone who publishes the video, which he calls "a private, confidential tape."

Singer says he just spoke with third wheel Kari Ann Peniche and asked how the tape got leaked. Her response: "I have no idea. I had nothing to do with it."

As for reports there's a full-blown, uncensored sex version of the tape, Singer said, "From what I've seen it's a naked tape, not a sex tape." Singer added, "At most it's 3 people maybe wanting to have sex."

And that's why we love Marty Singer.
