We're told Landesberg died of cancer early this morning. He had been battling the disease for a while.

Landesberg played Dr. Rosenbaum -- the pediatrician -- in "Sarah Marshall." But he was more famous for his role as Det. Sgt. Arthur Dietrich on the TV show "Barney Miller," which ran from 1975 - 82.

We're told Lindsay and her roomies were staying at a satellite house at the Betty Ford Clinic. The roommates were "drinking heavily" and somehow the Betty Ford people found out and busted them.

The roommates were moved back to the main facility at Betty Ford, which has more supervision.

As for Lindsay, we're told there was no evidence she had been drinking, but we're told after the incident Betty Ford officials decided Lindsay could not leave the area for Christmas.

We're also told Lindsay has gone back to the main Betty Ford facility, not for punishment but for "intensive therapy."

Uchitel filed two separate small claims lawsuits against Oceanside Transitional Living -- one claiming they didn't return her $11,000 Cartier watch; the other for the return of her security deposit.

Rachel actually called a character witness ... for her dog ... who testified how well the dog usually behaves. The judge decided the facility didn't provide enough evidence (ewww!) to prove it was her dog that did the deed.

UPDATE: The judge took the watch case under submission and, we're told, will issue a ruling sometime this week.

Rachel wasn't too chatty on her way out, but she was clearly happy to be victorious.

During a kiss and tell session on the "Woody & The Wake-Up Call" show today on WCOL -- Gene says he took "Polaroid photos of the ladies who graced the bed in my room" during his 37 years of touring with KISS.

Gene then copped to having "right under 5,000" Polaroid snapshots of his conquests -- with each woman holding the key to the hotel room where Gene conducted the coitus.

The singer/songwriter/producer was in NY this weekend -- where he explained MJ was such a perfectionist, "If Michael was still alive ... I don't think the album would be out yet."

Law enforcement sources tell us Jackson and his wife, Halima Rashid, claim in the report -- filed with the L.A. County Sheriff's Department -- someone took a Louis Vuitton bag containing the treasure trove from their Calabasas home back in September.

The home -- which Jermaine rents -- is in the same gated community Katherine Jackson is temporarily living in while her Encino home undergoes extensive renovation.

We're told Jermaine claimed the bag contained some ultra-expensive watches, among other pricey items. Our law enforcement sources say the case is under investigation ... but so far no suspects.

A week before Jackson filed the police report, he filed docs in his child support case -- claiming he couldn't afford the $3,000/month for his kids, Jaafar and Jermajesty. He'd like the payment reduced to $215 a month.

Romo popped the question during Candice's 24th birthday party on Thursday night.

The Cowboys weren't doing a lot of winning when Romo was playing this year, so it's the first time we've seen him take a knee in quite a while.

Demi's rep tells TMZ, "Perpetrating these completely unfounded rumors from supposed sources while Demi is in treatment dealing with serious physical and emotional issues is disgusting."

The rep goes on: "The sourcing on this report is so spotty that it is hard to fully respond."

As for claims that Demi's uncle, Francisco Lovato, kept people out of her tour while she had sex inside, Lovato's rep bristles, "Francisco Lovato is the brother of Demi's estranged father. He never traveled on the tour, and certainly didn't serve as some sort of chaperone."

TMZ has learned Colony Capital wants to develop a business plan to turn Neverland into a small music institute -- similar to The Juilliard School in NYC. The plan is to teach teens all aspects of music, including writing and performing.

Colony wants to turn the property into a campus, in which scores of teenagers -- rich and poor -- can learn the trade that made Michael Jackson a legend.

There are two big stumbling blocks. The first is making sure Santa Barbara County will sign off on such a project.

Sources familiar with the situation tell TMZ ... there's a photog who drives around in a Prius with tinted windows -- who follows her everywhere she goes, running up to her car and yelling at her every time her car comes to a stop.

We're told the pap seems to live outside Lindsay's digs -- he's there everyday and doesn't miss a beat when Lindsay ventures out.

Lindsay is convinced the pap is "psychotic."

Lindsay is so upset, she's asked her lawyer to go to court and get a restraining order against this pap and several others, but so far nothing's been filed in court.

As TMZ first reported, Judge Gordon modified the existing custody agreement late Thursday.

Now sources tell us Gordon has given Mel more time with Lucia, but not a lot more. We're told the increase is measured by hours -- not days -- per week. Sources say the increase for Mel amounts to a little more than one day a week.

According to the agreement Mel and Oksana Grigorieva signed in May, both have joint physical and legal custody of Lucia. Under that agreement, Mel had visitation rights a total of 6 days -- with three overnight visits -- every two weeks. The judge has now increased Mel's face time.

It's a far cry from what Oksana wanted ... namely, to strip Mel of overnight visits altogether and to only give him monitored visitation.

Sources tell us Judge Gordon told the parties there were no winners or losers, but that the change was made for the best interests of Lucia.

We're told Mayweather was at a casino on the strip when a security guard recognized him and called the Las Vegas police.

Mayweather, who was all smiles in his latest mugshot, is still in custody.

As we first reported, a security guard patrolling Floyd's gated community claims the boxer poked him in the face when confronted about a parking violation.

If convicted Mayweather faces a maximum of 6 months in jail.

UPDATE: Law enforcement sources tell TMZ Floyd has been released from custody.

As TMZ first reported, Lindsay has been receiving ominous messages from someone who claims to be watching her. The concern is so great ... honchos from the Betty Ford Clinic are moving Lindsay to a more secure location.

You'll recall, Lutfi was Britney's sole confidant just before she was placed on a 5150 psychiatric hold. Britney's family believed Lutfi was plying Brit with drugs and taking her down a path of destruction. Britney's conservators eventually obtained a restraining order against Lutfi.

We've learned Lutfi has been in close contact recently with none other than Michael Lohan. In at least one text Lutfi sent to Lindsay, he falsely identifies himself as "Mike from TMZ" and warns her to distance herself from Dina Lohan. The phone number on the text goes right back to Lutfi.

TMZ spoke with Lutfi, who claims he didn't send the messages. He claims the people who rep Lindsay also repped Britney and they're out to get him. Lutfi claims Lindsay has called him in the past, though sources connected with Lindsay say she doesn't know Lutfi at all.

Sources tell TMZ Lindsay's people have been in touch with Sam, warning him to stay away from her ... or else.

Romo reportedly popped the question while celebrating Candice's 24th birthday on Thursday.

Candice is Chace Crawford's younger sister and she's a sports reporter for KDAF ... the CW station in Dallas which, appropriately, first reported the engagement.

Romo is the second Jessica Simpson ex to put a ring on it recently.
