7:30 PM PT: According to law enforcement, 2 Chainz was on board an outbound flight waiting to take off when TSA officials discovered the drugs in his checked luggage. He was subsequently removed from the aircraft before it departed, and placed under arrest.

4:43 PM PT: 2 Chainz has been booked on felony narcotics possession. Law enforcement sources tell us ... Chainz was in possession of Promethazine -- one of the 2 main ingredients in sizzurp. He also had pot, but less than an ounce.

2 Chainz was just arrested at LAX ... after cops allegedly found weed on the "I'm Different" rapper as he was trying to board an airplane, TMZ has learned.

Sources tell us ... 35-year-old 2 Chainz is currently being booked for possession of marijuana after he was caught with pot in Terminal 5.

Just yesterday, 2 Chainz -- real name Tauheed Epps -- was tweeting about how impressed he was with the weed in San Francisco.

Erin Brockovich has officially been charged with drunk driving a boat last week -- after police say she threw a cell phone into the water, slapped her husband, and openly admitted she was a TERRIBLE boat driver.

TMZ has obtained the police report from the incident last Friday on Lake Mead in Nevada -- and according to the doc, Brockovich and her husband were fighting loudly on board their boat when a game warden approached to investigate the situation.

According to the warden, he observed Brockovich throw a cell phone in the lake and then slap her husband ... which is interesting ... because Brockovich's husband filed for divorce last year. (The divorce has since been called off.)

The warden says he asked Brockovich to dock her boat but she stated that she was "not very good at driving" it -- so the warden helped guide it in himself.

At that point, the warden suspected Brockovich was under the influence -- claiming she smelled like booze and was slurring her speech. According to the warden, she also blew a .186 and .190 on the breathalyzer ... MORE than double the legal limit, which is .08.

8:32 AM PT -- Madden just addressed the situation on Tumblr ... writing, "Sunday while I was at work, a hotel employee found a small amount of marijuana in my hotel room."

"The police were called and responded. Sydney is is [sic] my adopted home and i appreciate the way the NSW police handled the situation."

"They have informed me there will be no charges. I hope this didn't cause too much drama for anyone."

Good Charlotte member Joel Madden -- Nicole Richie's husband -- has been BOOTED from a hotel in Sydney, Australia on Sunday after officials say they found some pot in his room ... TMZ has learned.

According to police in New South Wales, Australia ... cops executed a search warrant at 10:30 pm Sunday night and seized a "small amount of plant matter believed to be cannabis."

Cops wouldn't say if the weed belonged to Madden -- but DID say a 34-year-old man was present during the search. FYI -- Joel is 34.

However, TMZ spoke with the manager of the Darling Hotel who did name names ... saying, "Joel Madden was ejected from the hotel because a small amount of cannabis was found inside his hotel room."

He added, "In Australia there is a 0 tolerance for this no matter where you are."

Shawne Merriman looked like a million bucks walking out of the gym today in L.A. -- completely laughing off rumors that he suffered from a drug overdose last night.

As we reported, the 29-year-old retired NFL star was transported from Colony nightclub to an L.A. hospital around 9:30pm Sunday night, following a 911 call reporting that he had possibly OD'd.

The caller said Merriman was "barely conscious" -- but just hours later, following his brief trip to the hospital, Merriman was back at the club looking like normal.

2 Chainz did NOT get robbed at gunpoint, but he does give San Francisco marijuana really, really high grades ... this according to the rapper himself.

As we previously reported ... San Francisco PD says 2 Chainz got jacked yesterday when someone fired shots in a crowd that included the rapper and his entourage.

But 2 Chainz sounds like he's denying anything went down at all -- because he tweeted, "Rule #1 if a rapper gets robbed people usually post items that has been taken. Rings, chains, watch, money etc."

He also says, "Rule #2 if a rapper gets shot he usually go to hospital or dies."

Police told us 2 Chainz said he wanted to handle the matter himself ... so the denial seems to back that up.

Erin Brockovich's new mug shot is pretty rough and pretty shocking ... but that's what you get when you operate a boat wasted ... allegedly.

TMZ broke the story ... Brockovich was popped over the weekend for operating a boat under the influence.

A Nevada game warden spotted Brockovich struggling to dock her vessel at Lake Mead ... her BAC was nearly double the .08 legal limit.

Brockovich apologized this morning ... insisting she didn't endanger anyone because she wasn't boating in open waters -- just moving the boat "within its own slip."

"That being said, I take drunk driving very seriously, this was clearly a big mistake, I know better and I am very sorry,” she added.

We're told Brockovich is free on bail after briefly docking at the Clark County Detention Center.

Andy Richter says "two drunks" slammed into his car last night while it was parked in front of his L.A. home ... and the funnyman says it happens so frequently, he's MOVING.

The "Conan" sidekick posted a photo of the wreckage on Twitter -- writing, "Two drunks totalled my car while it was parked in front of my house tonight."

"We live on a busy street. We have for 11 years. We grew tired of this, and bought a house on a quiet street."

He continued, "Our old house goes on the market in just a few days. We are moving in three weeks."

Richter referred to last night's collision as a "kiss goodbye."

We've reached out to cops and Richter for more details ... no word back.

Retired NFL star Shawne Merriman is adamant ... he did NOT overdose on drugs at an L.A. nightclub last night ... telling TMZ he was simply dehydrated.

The 29-year-old -- who was transported from Colony nightclub to an L.A. hospital around 9:30pm Sunday night -- tells us ... "I didn't feel well and they called the ambulance for me to make sure I was good."

Merriman says he doesn't know who called the ambulance.

We're told the person who called 911 reported that Shawne was "barely conscious."

After Merriman was admitted to the hospital, the ex-NFL star says, "They told me to drink some fluids and sent me on my way."

Shawne says he's been running himself ragged recently -- "I've been finishing my MBA, shooting a bunch of films, launching my LightsOut [company] and still training."

In fact, Shawne says he had just gotten off a plane from Canada ... and went straight to the clubs last night.

Shawne's rep tells us, "At the hospital, he got fluids and felt fine ... so he went right back to the club."

Brockovich just released the following statement:

“I apologize for my actions Friday evening. After a day in the sun and with nothing to eat it appears that a couple of drinks had a greater impact than I had realized. It is very important to note that I was not operating the boat in open waters, I was moving it within its own slip. At no time was the boat away from the dock and there was no public safety risk. That being said, I take drunk driving very seriously, this was clearly a big mistake, I know better and I am very sorry."

Erin Brockovich -- who was famously immortalized by Julia Roberts in the movie about her life -- was arrested in Las Vegas on Friday for allegedly operating her boat while under the influence ... TMZ has learned.

The Nevada Department of Wildlife tells TMZ one of their game wardens observed Brockovich (now Brockovich-Ellis following her marriage in 1999) struggling to dock her boat at Lake Mead, just outside Boulder City.

When the warden attempted to offer assistance, he noticed she "exhibited several signs of an intoxicated boater." The cop conducted an investigation and subsequently arrested Brockovich for OUI (operating under the influence).

A law enforcement source tells TMZ that Brockovich's blood alcohol content was almost twice the legal limit of .08.

Formerly troubled "Terminator 3" star Nick Stahl has some invaluable words of advice for Amanda Bynes ... if she wants to turn her life around, she should start by pulling the plug on her crazy Twitter account.

Stahl -- who famously struggled with drugs, alcohol and other personal issues in the last year -- tells TMZ Amanda's habit of constantly chronicling her every waking move isn't healthy ... and she should spend her time reconnecting with friends and family instead.

But Stahl's still optimistic, adding, "She'll figure it out. She's young."

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ ... 25-year-old Longo -- who's also appeared on "Days of Our Lives" and "Piranha 3D" -- was driving in Hollywood around 2:30 AM Thursday morning when cops noticed him driving like a complete d-bag.

Sources tell us ... Longo was driving aggressively ... following too close to another car and flashing it with his high beams.

Once cops pulled the guy over, we're told officers noticed Longo reeked of booze -- so they performed various field sobriety tests ... which he bombed.

One source tells us ... Longo's blood alcohol level was .19 and .20 ... more than twice the legal limit.

Longo was arrested and hauled to a nearby police station where he was booked ... and later released after posting $15,000 bail.

Farrah Abraham just pled GUILTY in her Nebraska DUI case -- and as a result, she's been ordered to stay ALCOHOL-FREE for six whole months, TMZ has learned.

We broke the story ... the former MTV star turned porn queen had struck a plea deal with prosecutors -- and got probation instead of jail stemming from her March arrest.

As part of the deal, Farrah was sentenced to 6 months probation, a $500 fine, and was ordered to install an ignition interlock device in her car -- one of the machines that requires the driver to submit to a breath test before the engine will start.

The judge in the case also required 22-year-old Farrah to not consume one single drop of alcohol during her probation.

Farrah was initially charged with disorderly conduct and refusing to take a field sobriety test -- but those charges were dropped as part of the plea deal.

Miley Cyrus is NOT singing about ecstasy in her new single "We Can't Stop" ... despite what seems to be an OBVIOUS lyrical reference to the drug ... so says the guy who produced the track.

The controversy is centered around the hook of the song -- in which it SOUNDS like Miley's saying, "We like to party/ Dancing with Molly/ Doing whatever we want.”

Unhip Old Person Translation: "Dancing with Molly" is slang for partying on ecstasy.

But a rep for the song's producer Mike WiLL Made It tells TMZ ... the whole thing is a giant misunderstanding because what Cyrus is REALLY singing is ... "Dancing with MILEY."

As for the lyric about people "trying to get a line in the bathroom" ... the rep wouldn't say if Miley was talking about cocaine ... but HELLO?!?!?!?

Good news -- Ozzy Osbourne says things are going GREAT in his effort to fix the problems in his marriage.

Bad news -- He's sorta refusing to acknowledge there were problems in the first place.

Ozzy was finishing up a grocery run at Bristol Farms in L.A. yesterday when we asked about his relationship with Sharon ... and Ozzy sounded extremely positive.

As we previously reported, the two were living apart earlier this year after Ozzy fell off the wagon and began using drugs and alcohol again. Sharon told reporters she was "devastated" by his behavior.

So it was a little baffling yesterday when Ozzy told us there was never a problem to begin with between himself and Sharon ... because we know that's simply not true.

"Teen Mom" turned porn star Farrah Abraham won't serve a day behind bars for DUI ... assuming the judge approves a plea deal she just struck with prosecutors, TMZ has learned.

An official at the Douglas County D.A.'s Office tells us, Farrah has agreed to plead guilty to aggravated DUI on June 20th ... in exchange, prosecutors agreed to ask for probation instead of jail.

As we reported, Farrah was popped for DUI in Nebraska back in March ... allegedly blowing a .147 ... nearly twice the legal limit. Farrah originally pled NOT guilty.

In addition to probation, prosecutors will ask the judge to suspend Farrah's driving privileges and order her to pay $500 in fines ... but that's it ... zero time in the pokey.

Justin Bieber's neighbors are fed up with him and are banding together to force the homeowners association in their gated community to do something about the singer's reckless behavior ... by hitting them in the wallet ... TMZ has learned.

Neighborhood sources tell TMZ ... several of the residents of Bieber's Calabasas neighborhood are tired of waiting for their HOA to take action against Bieber ... so they are planning to withhold their monthly dues until something is done.

We're told about 500 residents pay $1,000/month, so it's a huge chunk o' change that could be withheld.

The goal, according to our sources, is to force the HOA to give Justin a stern reminder about the neighborhood rules he's allegedly broken repeatedly -- such as noise during parties (some while Justin was out of town), Justin's friends parking on the street overnight ... and, of course, the speeding.

Any HOA action would be a far cry from Bieber getting arrested or charged by the D.A. -- but we're told the protesting residents will take what they can get at this point.

We called ex-NFL star Keyshawn Johnson to see if he's joined the cause -- since he actually confronted Bieber last week about the speeding -- but haven't heard back yet.
