A Louisiana music festival says CeeLo Green no longer fits the concert's "wholesome family environment" ... so he's been axed from headlining the event.

Organizers for the Gretna Heritage Festival released a statement saying Joan Jett and the Blackhearts will replace him in Sunday night's lineup. There was no further explanation about why CeeLo was dropped.

TMZ broke the story ... the singer plead no contest last week to sharing ecstasy with a woman who had accused him of slipping something n her drink. The plea deal allows CeeLo to maintain his innocence.

The Freedom Live gig, set for Washington, D.C. later this month, also cut CeeLo -- but said it was because of a weird set of tweets from his account following the plea deal. The messages implied a woman has to remember being raped in order for it to have occurred.

MLB star Everth Cabrera was arrested in San Diego early Wednesday morning ... after cops say the San Diego Padres shortstop was driving while high on weed ... TMZ Sports has learned.

Ron Jeremy's night could have been a lot worse -- because it turned out he was NOT driving drunk ... however he was driving without a California license, so he got his car impounded.

The porn legend was pulled over in Hollywood Wednesday night after police spotted him driving erratically. Our photog witnessed police giving Jeremy a breathalyzer test, but he passed just fine. Ron told our photog he doesn't drink at all.

But it turns out Ron only has a New York license (even though he's lived in L.A. for years) so the cops towed his Saturn and Jeremy and his lady friend had to take a cab home.

David Cassidy copped a plea in his felony drunk driving case in NY, and got the charge reduced to misdemeanor DWI.

Cassidy was in court Wednesday to enter a guilty plea. Under the terms of the deal he has to complete 50 hours of community service and have an ignition interlock installed on his car. He's already completed an alcohol treatment program, but in November the judge will decide if he needs more ... according to the D.A.

Cassidy was arrested last year after he was stopped by cops in Schodack, NY, and tests showed his blood alcohol level was 0.10 ... way over the legal limit of .08.

Tom Brady just addressed the Wes Welker suspension -- but gave a very bizarre reaction when asked if he saw his ex-teammate do any drugs during the Kentucky Derby.

At first, the New England Patriots QB brushed off Welker's suspension -- saying it was Welker's problem to deal with:

"As a friend, you always hope the best. But, this is not friend time. It's opponent time. My focus is on the Dolphins."

That's when a reporter asked Tom if he saw Welker taking any drugs during the Kentucky Derby -- where the two hung out together back in May.

Tom's response -- awkward laughter ... followed by, "I got no comment on that, no."

It's an odd answer ... the standard reply when asked if you saw your friend doing drugs is usually a pretty firm "NO" followed by a defense of the friend's character.

Unless that's simply not the case.

Robin Thicke gave cops the same treatment Paula Patton's been giving him -- ignoring officers who asked him to stop blasting music on Labor Day ... and he ended up getting a ticket for it.

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ … the LAPD was called to Thicke's home in the Hollywood Hills late Monday night, into Tuesday morning, after neighbors complained about loud music.

We're told Thicke appeared to be drunk -- no big deal since he was partying at home -- but also had a "total disregard" for the cops. After agreeing to lower the volume, we're told Robin cranked it up again once the officers walked away. So they wrote him up for loud music.

A source close to Robin tells us he actually apologized to police.

We're told this was the 2nd night within the last week police went to Robin's house for noise complaints.

11:51 A.M. PDT -- The NFL has dropped the hammer on Irsay, suspending him 6 games and fining him $500,000 -- the maximum dollar amount permitted for violating the league's personal conduct policy.

Commissioner Roger Goodell, in a letter to Irsay, said ... “I have stated on numerous occasions that owners, management personnel and coaches must be held to a higher standard than players. We discussed this during our meeting and you expressed your support for that view, volunteering that owners should be held to the highest standard.”

Indianapolis Colts owner Jim Irsay just pled guilty to one misdemeanor count of operating a vehicle while intoxicated ... stemming from a March arrest.

55-year-old Irsay appeared in court Tuesday morning in Indianapolis -- where he was sentenced to 1 year probation and will be subjected to court-ordered drug tests.

As we previously reported, Irsay was popped just before midnight on March 16th after driving super slow and failing to signal ... and officials say he had multiple painkillers in his his system, including oxycodone and hydrocodone.

Officials also say Irsay had various prescription drugs in his car at the time of his arrest

At the time of his arrest, cops said the prescription pills found in Irsay's car did not match up with the prescription bottles.

Cops also say Irsay had roughly $29k in cash with him at the time.

Lil Wayne found himself in the mood for some watermelon while partying in an Atlanta nightclub Sunday night ... and luckily he brought some with him.

Wayne was at the Velvet Room when he was seen taking a snack break. Weezy had a slice of watermelon in one hand ... and what appears to be a blunt in other.

CeeLo Green just pled no contest in the case where a woman accused him of slipping her ecstasy ... and the plea allows him to maintain his innocence.

TMZ broke the story ... a woman claimed that she and the singer were at a downtown L.A. bar and the next thing she knew she was naked in his bed. The D.A. filed charges of furnishing ecstasy -- a felony. CeeLo just pled no contest to sharing ecstasy ... the difference being there is no underlying concession he slipped her anything. In other words, it was voluntary sharing.

As we previously reported ... the woman was no stranger to CeeLo ... they had been dating for months and he flew her out to L.A. and Vegas on several occasions to be with him. There were also witnesses in the bar who claimed she walked out looking fine.

Lance Armstrong has a pretty cool ally -- the bassist from Rage Against the Machine ... who's vouching that Armstrong still "rules" and says it's time for people to get over the P.E.D. scandal.

TMZ Sports spoke with Tim Commerford -- who's gotten pretty serious about cycling over the years -- and he told us that Armstrong was his "pit crew guy" during a recent race in Colorado.

"[He] took care of me and fed me and hydrated me ... trained with me and all that. It was an awesome experience."

And get this ... Commerford says despite the cheating and all the other bad stuff Armstrong 'fessed up to, he still thinks Lance is an inspiring guy and deserves a second chance with the American public.

As for Lance, he's taken a self deprecating approach in the hopes to change his image ... and recently got props from the cops for helping spread the word about a bike thief.

Jason London got his ass beaten so badly by bouncers at an Arizona bar that his wife left him -- but they're coming back together to jointly sue the bar.

Jason was unable to perform all sorts of duties around the house after the beating at Martini Ranch in January 2013 ... according to docs obtained by TMZ. Jason and Sofia say they were deprived of companionship and a true marital relationship. Most people spell that ... S-E-X.

They also say Jason couldn't do any household chores. Sofia filed for legal separation earlier this year.

TMZ broke the story ... Jason was beaten to a pulp after allegedly sneezing on a bouncer and punching the guy in the face.

Jason was arrested for disorderly conduct, fighting, and assault ... and allegedly made homophobic slurs before crapping his pants in the back of a cop car. He recently pled guilty for disorderly conduct.

Joseline Hernandez was NOT on drugs during that ugly brawl on the set of "Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta"... so says her husband Stevie J -- who tells TMZ they're gonna sue the liars who said she was high.

Stevie claims his co-star, Althea Eaton, made up the story about Joseline smoking crack cocaine before attacking her last month at the reunion show. Althea is suing Joseline for assaulting her.

Stevie tells TMZ ... the suit is BS because Althea and her fiance Benzino started the fight by talking crap in the first place. He claims Althea's lawsuit is a smokescreen ... to hide the fact Benzino slugged Joseline during the tussle.

Stevie says he and Joseline have lawyered up ... and plan to countersue because "no grown man should hit a woman."

We called Benzino who told us, "It's clear that him and his whore jumped off the couch and attacked us and whatever happened from there was merely self-defense."

The good news: Nick Gordon walked away from a terrible car accident Thursday morning with no major injures. The bad news is ... he got arrested for DUI.

Law enforcement sources in Roswell, GA tell TMZ ... Gordon (who is married to Whitney Houston's daughter Bobbi Kristina) lost control of his BMW, hit a curb, took out a fire hydrant and flipped his car upside down. We're told it finally came to a rest after sliding around 200 feet.

When cops arrived on scene, we're told they discovered Nick was driving on a suspended license and cops felt Gordon's behavior gave them probable cause to arrest him for DUI.

We're told police did not conduct a breathalyzer test, but they are seeking a warrant for a blood test.

Robert Downey Jr.'s son Indio won't have his day in court just yet ... TMZ has learned his arraignment scheduled for Thursday was pushed back because the 20-year-old is still getting treatment in rehab.

As TMZ first reported, Indio was arrested in West Hollywood back on June 29 after cops observed him smoking something out of a pipe while riding in the passenger seat of a car.

Indio is facing charges of felony possession of a controlled substance and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia.

Thursday in court, his attorney, Blair Berk, told the judge Indio is doing well in his live-in treatment facility.

He's due back in court next month.

A vicious "Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta" brawl has triggered a lawsuit ... which now alleges one of the stars was smoking crack cocaine at the reunion show.

Althea Eaton has filed suit against Joseline Hernandez, who is caught on tape punching Althea in the face and dragging her to the ground ... then hitting and scratching her for good measure.

In the suit, Althea claims eyewitnesses allegedly observed Joseline smoking crack cocaine out of a pipe backstage during the show. Althea believes Joseline was high as a kite when she attacked.

It's interesting ... Althea is NOT suing the show or the network, which means one of 2 things:

Sarah Silverman brought weed with her to the Emmys, but that doesn't mean she was high during the show. Now LATER in the evening is a whole other story ...

On her way into the big event, Sarah showed off her pot vapor pen and when she won an award ... people thought her speech was a little all over the place.

But after the show, Sarah told our photog she didn't smoke before or during the show ... but planned on celebrating with it later on.

Cause that's what winners do.
