We've learned the person who first became suspicious saw someone being rushed into the house with a pillowcase over his/her head.

Heidi had a boob job recently and is on this week's cover of People magazine -- on newsstands Friday. Typically in these deals (and trust us, Heidi and Spencer made a deal), the magazine demands that the featured person not be photographed elsewhere until the magazine gets a bang for its buck.

So was it Heidi who was being rushed in the house with a pillowcase over her head? Sure feels like it.

UPDATE: We've just been told by cops that no crime was committed. Someone did indeed see what appeared to be a kidnapping. The guy who was cuffed and detained by cops was released and went back inside the house.

The LAPD received a call for a "possible kidnapping" at the Los Angeles home of Heidi and Spencer Pratt ... sources tell TMZ.

A witness at the scene tells TMZ police blocked off the street outside of Speidi's house, helicopters are flying above and cops with guns drawn are yelling at someone to come out of the house.

Neighbors tell us ... it looks like a cop show. Police are swarming the area. Someone from the helicopter was on a loudspeaker saying, "Man in the black shirt. Come out of the house."

Several cops jumped the fence and went toward the house.

A man has been arrested and is in the back of a police car. The man is a white male, brown hair, medium build, wearing blue jeans and a black shirt.

We have a cameraman at the scene who says this does not look fake.

Cops are now taking the cuffs off the man and are talking with him.

Coldplay is being sued by a man who calls himself a "well-talented" yet "unknown" songwriter ... and claims the band straight up jacked three of the nearly 4,000 songs he's written in his lifetime.

Sammie Lee Smith just filed a lawsuit in L.A. County Superior Court, alleging he wrote the songs "Yellow," "Clocks" and "Trouble" -- only to have them stolen from him and turned into massive hits by Coldplay.

In the lawsuit, Sammie claims since 1976, he has "recorded approximately 100 tapes, each tape containing approximately 40 songs." Sammie does not say if any of his other 3,997 songs were ever stolen by anyone.

Hollywood Hills Burglar Bunch suspect Rachel Lee just turned herself in to the LAPD ... sources tell TMZ.

The L.A. District Attorney charged Lee with five felonies today -- three counts of residential burglary and two counts of receiving stolen property.

Lee is suspected of burglarizing the homes of Paris Hilton, Audrina Patridge and Lindsay Lohan.

We're told Lee is being booked right now.

A felony warrant has been issued for the arrest of Hollywood Hills Burglar Bunch suspect Rachel Lee ... sources tell TMZ.

Our sources say the L.A. County District Attorney issued the warrant today -- which contains three counts of felony residential burglary and two felony counts of receiving stolen property.

Lee was arrested in Nevada back in October for possession of stolen property -- but was never charged for the burglary of any of the celebrity victims' homes.

Five of the other alleged members of the Bunch -- Nick Prugo, Alexis Neiers, Diana Tamayo, Courtney Ames and Roy Lopez, Jr. -- face a total of 12 counts of felony first degree residential burglary.

The Bunch allegedly burglarized the homes of Paris Hilton, Orlando Bloom, Rachel Bilson, Lindsay Lohan, Audrina Patridge, Brian Austin Green, Megan Fox and an L.A. business man.

Pamela Bach's liver has been under lock and key since her last DUI hearing ... in the form of an alcohol monitoring bracelet.

According to court documents, a judge ordered David Hasselhoff's ex to wear a SCRAM device -- an anklet that constantly tests the skin for the presence of booze -- after she was arrested for driving drunk in L.A. back in November ... the second time she was arrested for DUI that year.

Bach was charged with two counts of DUI in December -- where along with the court-mandated jewelry, she was also ordered to attend several AA meetings.

But tomorrow, Bach is scheduled to be arraigned -- and if she's found guilty of DUI, she could spend some serious time in the clink for being a repeat offender.

Washington Wizards player Gilbert Arenas and the U.S. Attorney are negotiating a plea bargain ... law enforcement sources tell TMZ.

Our sources say Arenas' lawyer and prosecutors are discussing a plea in which Arenas would cop to misdemeanor gun charges. We're told a deal hasn't been struck yet, but it could come as early as today.

Sources say the filing of charges would coincide with the plea, so it would all go down quickly. We do not know what they are discussing with respect to a sentence ... the prosecutor would recommend a sentence but ultimately it's the judge's decision.

Arenas is under investigation for felony gun charges for the locker room incident last month.

As for what a plea would do to Arenas' status as a member of the Washington Wizards, we're told G.M. Ernie Grunfeld and Arenas were text messaging each other shortly after the incident. In one of the text messages, Grunfeld wrote that Arenas had violated his NBA contract which prohibits players from possessing a firearm in a team or league facility. As a result Grunfeld texted the team had a right to void his contract ... worth $111 million.

Outside the Van Nuys courtroom, Sparks' lawyer reiterated his belief that allegations against his client are "extortion, Hollywood style."

The case was continued to next month.

In the lawsuit, Lopez -- who claims to have been in a five-year relationship with Shaq -- says it went sour after Lopez missed her period and Shaq allegedly reacted by accusing her of sleeping with another guy.

Lopez says she ended the relationship, but then Shaq's large family -- and we're talkin' height -- got involved, making her fear for her safety. Lopez claims Shaq's 6'6" and 6'8" sisters made verbal and physical threats against her.

Lopez claims she was especially fearful of Shaq because "O'Neal is a large, powerful, wealthy man and a professional athlete" who has law enforcement connections and the right to bear arms.

And, Lopez claims, Shaq hacked into her voice mail and text messages, using sophisticated software.

As we first reported, Lopez has had run-ins with three other NBA boyfriends.

Lopez, who is repped by Gloria Allred, is suing for unspecified damages.

TMZ spoke to Kenbrell Thompkins -- a star wide receiver -- who told us it took about an hour for him to decide he would not be attending the first day of classes at UT today because of Kiffin's decision.

Thompkins told us, "I plan on departing from Tennessee and heading elsewhere. Lane Kiffin was a big part of me choosing UT, but with his departure I'm pretty sure I'll be heading elsewhere. I'm not sure at this moment what my other top choices are."

We're now told Conan's contract never specified a guaranteed time period. If NBC wanted to run the show at 3:00 AM, Conan would have no recourse. We're told Conan's reps never even asked for a guaranteed time period when they negotiated his contract -- shocking, but true.

By contrast, we're told Jay Leno's deal specifically guarantees his 10:00 PM time period, so the network must negotiate a new deal with him before he moves back to 11:35 PM.

NBC did guarantee that Conan would host "The Tonight Show," and the network has been willing to make good on that promise.

As for Conan's legal position, his claim is a lot more tenuous than first reported to us. We're told Conan is arguing -- given the history of "The Tonight Show" -- there is an "implied" guarantee the show would begin at 11:35. Our sources say Conan's people met with NBC execs yesterday afternoon ... presumably to negotiate a settlement and an out.

Some of the high level people who oversee "The Tonight Show" are saying Conan has himself to blame -- at least in part -- for his failure. They say he refused to take notes from his bosses, saying "I do what I do."

According to a 2007 police report filed in Colorado, Martin -- a former #1 pick -- claimed that Lopez got into his wallet without permission and used his credit card to buy $6485.90 worth of clothes on couturecandy.com.

Martin's bank notified him of the fraudulent charges when they noticed an incorrect billing address was being used for the purchases.

According to the docs, the case was cracked because the perp shipped all the merch to a "Vanessa Lopez" in Florida .

Sources tell TMZ, Martin never pressed charges on Vanessa because his credit card company repaired the damage.

Hilton got his driver's license back Tuesday ... it was yanked after he pled no contest in 2008 to DUI in Malibu, where he allegedly hit a gas station employee with his car.

The 20-year-old went to the DMV and had to re-take his road test. We're told he was sober and he passed. His reward from pops -- a black 2010 Mercedes E550 Coupe.

It may seem like Barron is spoiled, until you realize ... his 15-year-old brother Conrad gets to drive dad's $200,000 Bentley. It's all relative.

Arrest warrants for battery and false imprisonment were issued last month for Katt in Fulton County, GA, stemming from an alleged incident at the Four Seasons Hotel the night of November 12.

According to the police report, Merion Powers claims Katt invited him to the hotel to discuss a debt -- when Powers sensed trouble was brewing he pressed the record button on his cell phone.

According to the report, "Mr. Williams was on audio recording stating that he did physically strike Mr. Power's once in the nose" and that Powers' nose "did show signs of swelling." Katt was never arrested -- but warrants were issued on December 28.

Now ... a source connected with Katt claims it went down like this: Powers was attempting to extort the comedian over a musical recording made by Williams, and when Williams told Powers to pound sand, Powers' pal called the hotel security, security called the cops, but the cops didn't believe Powers and left without arresting Katt.

TMZ spoke to a senior director at the HOF who told us they were satisfied with a disclaimer posted in the wing of the Hall where McGwire's 70th HR bat is on display.

The disclaimer mentions "mounting evidence" that some players have juiced up. The disclaimer then turns into buyer beware, noting that the artifacts are displayed "without respect to suspicions" of illegal substance use.

But in McGwire's case, there are no lingering suspicions ... dude cheated.
