For starters, the outlet went to real estate sites like Realtor.com to gauge where exactly they lived in Chi-Town -- and about how much their mansion might've cost back in the late '80s/early '90s, the period in which the film is depicted. 'Memba, it came out in 1990.

Per the Times, the house that was used as the famous exterior for 'HA' actually belongs to a super ritzy burb in Chicago called Winnetka -- one of the most expensive neighborhoods in America. Based on median incomes for folks who lived there back in the day ... the economists the NYT consulted peg the McCallisters as a likely $305,000/year household.

Mind you, they landed on that amount for the time period ... so, adjusted for inflation, that comes out to about $665,000/year in 2022. In other words, they're pretty GD rich.

Now, in terms of how Kevin McCallister and co. made that type of money and what his parents might've done for work -- the Times uses context clues in the movie to speculate that the mom was a successful fashion designer, and that pops was a general businessman.

It's a pretty fascinating deep dive into the beloved classic -- and if they were, in fact, as ballin' as the Times suggests ... it makes sense why the Wet Bandits targeted their home.

TK was giving his take on the Swift clan supporting him against the New England Patriots at Gillette Stadium during Wednesday's episode of his "New Heights" podcast with his brother, Jason ... when the conversation turned to 71-year-old Scott's fashion statement at the game.

"Mr. Swift!" Kelce said when a shot of Taylor and her pops standing in a suite showed up on the screen ... "Full Chiefs gear."

"It's kinda looking really nice on him, man," he added. "It's a swaggy vintage joint. He's rocking it, man."

Kelce also pointed out how everyone in attendance seemed to really enjoy themselves -- even the Pats fans, who erupted in cheers when Taylor showed up on the scoreboard ... despite her rooting for the other team.

"You don’t see an entire home team fanbase go insane for someone wearing the opposite colors," TK added ... explaining it's a prime example of "how amazing that girl is."

Kelce -- who's usually calm, cool and collected -- even revealed he had to make sure he didn't get overwhelmed when he noticed the crowd reaction.

Jason Mewes is going from stoner comedian to candidate for father of the year ... because he had a big role dancing ballet in his daughter's production of "The Nutcracker."

Jay performed in his daughter Logan's play earlier this month, dancing alongside other dads of the cast.

It sounds like Jason's daddy-daughter ballet gig was a year in the making ... we're told Logan saw the 'Nutcracker' last Christmas at the Marat Daukayev School of Ballet in Los Angeles and loved it so much, she had her parents enroll her in the school's ballet classes.

Rehearsals for this year's play have been going on since at least October, which is when Jason was approached about being a Dancing Dad.

We're told Jason was first approached by Pamela Daukayev, the school's executive director and Marat's wife, with Jason agreeing despite having no clue what being a Dancing Dad entailed.

Jason's ballet responsibilities included 4 dances onstage in costume with ballerina Lola Vernetti ... plus helping the other 27 Dancing Dads assist the crew and move furniture and set pieces between scenes. No easy task to say the least.

We're told Jason rehearsed several times a week leading up to the big show ... and he also participated in daily tech rehearsals onstage the week before the performance.

Logan sounds like a pretty good dancer herself ... we're told she earned a demi-solo ballet routine in the Pulcinella scene -- a 21-section ballet.

We're told Jason feels the experience is one of his best moments as a father ... and Logan was proud to have him onstage with her.

The talk show host submitted a response to Jeezy's request for a hearing to figure out a temporary custody schedule in their ongoing divorce case, and according to her latest filing -- obtained by TMZ -- she says his accusation that she's interfering with his ability to spend time with their 1-year-old Monaco is false.

Jeannie also says she's been more than accommodating when it comes to Jeezy asking for time with their daughter ... giving him all the dates he's asked for, and giving him an extended period of time with her over the Christmas holiday.

Jeannie says she 100% wants Jeezy to be involved in their daughter's life -- but says safety is her #1 concern ... and in these docs, she claims it's completely reasonable for safety to be on her mind.

Jeannie's attorneys write ... "It is essential to clarify that Ms. Jenkins’ insistence on reasonable safety measures being put in place, such as safely securing and locking away all firearms that have been unsecured in the past, as well as having familiarity and properly trained caregivers is absolutely not gatekeeping, but rather a responsible effort to prioritize their daughter’s well-being."

Her legal team adds, "These requests are grounded in Ms. Jenkins’ genuine concern for the parties’ daughter’s safety and security, especially when under the care of others and traveling across the country, and are reasonable protective measures, not an attempt to restrict Mr. Jenkins’ access to their daughter."

Around the same time Jeannie filed her response to Jeezy's divorce petition -- when she seemed to imply he might've cheated, and that it would have consequences under their prenup -- he filed new docs himself ... in which he alleged she was keeping him from seeing Monaco on a consistent basis.

Like we said ... Jeannie's calling BS on that, and instead of a hearing on temporary custody -- she's asking the judge here to just send them to mediation to work this out themselves, noting she feels like they're strong candidates for that option.

Bray Wyatt's dad, Mike Rotunda, is opening up on his constant grief following the late WWE Superstar's tragic death ... saying life without his son has been nothing short of a "nightmare."

Rotunda -- who was famous in his own right as a wrestler for decades, most notably as Irwin R. Schuster -- joined the "Wrasslin Talk with Mayor McCall" podcast to discuss Wyatt (real name Windham Rotunda) ... and, understandably, he's still struggling to come to terms with the loss.

"It's been really hard," Rotunda said. "We miss him every day."

"[My kids] would come with me and stay on the road, wherever I was wrestling ... and it's so hard to wake up out of this nightmare and he's still not there."

Rotunda explained Windham was supposed to get married to his partner, Jojo, recently ... making it an especially challenging time for his family.

Rotunda praised WWE for helping his family by giving Windham a Legends contract among other gestures ... which will allow his four children to receive financial help from merchandise sales.

"He was a jolly fellow," Rotunda continued. "He loved to laugh, he was loud, always laughing and he lit up a room. He lit up the wrestling business. People come up to me and have a story with Windham and say, 'He took the time to sit there and bulls*** with me for 10 or 15 minutes when he's supposed to be signing autographs.' So many people come up and support him by wearing Windham's stuff, and they have a story about him. He was that kind of person."

As we previously reported, Windham -- who experienced heart complications leading up to his death -- passed away while taking a nap at his home in August.

Guy Fieri is cooking up a storm at home ... revealing he plans to die broke and leave his sons none of his multi-million dollar fortune unless they get at least two degrees.

"Shaq said it best," the "Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives" star began to Fox News Wednesday ... adding, "Shaq said, 'If you want this cheese, you got to get two degrees.'"

The celeb chef -- who shares Hunter, 27, and Ryder, 17, with wife Lori -- added that by two degrees, he meant they also obtain a postgraduate.

A devastating update on Celine Dion's debilitating battle with Stiff-Person Syndrome ... as her sister says she's lost control of her muscles.

The star's sister, Claudette Dion, revealed the shocking turn in her disease which causes painful muscle spasms, saying it would be a while before Celine returns to the stage.

She told 7 Jours it broke her heart 'cause her sister had always been disciplined and hard-working ... recalling their late mother telling Celine her habits would make her successful -- but that very success now appears threatened.

Despite the grim outlook, Claudette says it's still Celine's goal to return to the stage -- but in what capacity, she doesn't know.

Research into the neurological disorder is still ongoing ... but because it's so rare, it means progress is slow -- which Claudette can't wrap her head around ... adding that many people in the same boat have "lost hope" of a cure ever being found.

The update comes after she told HELLO! Canada in Sept that Celine was "doing everything" in her power to recover ... but her spasms were impossible to control.

The "All By Myself' singer announced she was stricken with the disease in a December 2022 video message ... forcing her to cancel a bunch of her 2023 concert dates.

3 ½ years after last being seen in public, Celine was spotted last month at a hockey game between the Vegas Golden Knights and her hometown Montreal Canadiens -- looking in good spirits despite her health woes.
