Se supone que la fiesta de los Hombres del Año de GQ es un guiño a todos aquellos notables hombres en la industria, pero si echan un vistazo rápido a su fiesta de anoche, jurarían que era una velada hecha para las damas.

La revista masculina celebró su fiesta anual el jueves por la noche en Los Ángeles, marcando la versión estadounidense de sus premios MOTY, siguiendo a la reunión del Reino Unido del miércoles, y como pueden ver el lugar estuvo lleno de hermosas caras famosas.

Sí, había chicos allí, obviamente, incluyendo algunos de los homenajeados, como Jacob Elordi, James Marsden, Travis Scott, Dwyane Wade, Tom Ford, John Legend, MGK y más.

Todos ellos se veían muy bien, arreglados en sus mejores trajes, pero realmente fueron las mujeres las que se robaron las miradas en el interior.

Algunas de las encantadoras damiselas que se presentaron y mostraron lo suyo fueron Kim K, Megan Fox, Megan Thee Stallion, Paris Hilton, Olivia Rodrigo, Lorde, Winnie Harlow, Chloe Bailey y Dua Lipa, solo por nombrar algunas.

Por supuesto, nadie se queja de que las chicas asistan, quién no disfrutaría de su compañía, pero ha habido un poco de dudas este año porque un buen número de mujeres se mezclaron entre los ganadores, etc.

De las 20 personas nombradas para el evento del Reino Unido, solo 10 de ellos eran en realidad hombres y eso ha levantado algunas cejas.

Algunas de las mujeres reconocidas como "Hombres del Año" nominados allí incluyen a Jasmine Jobson, Mary Earps, Simone Rocha y Bianca Saunders, solo para nombrar unos pocos. Cuando se ejecutan de nuevo el jueves, sin duda Kim Kardashian estará presente.

That's what's got some people's panties in a bunch on Twitter -- if you go fishing for the outrage, you'll find it ... with a good handful of folks asking why there's such a strong female presence in GQ's spotlight of their "men."

It's a fair argument, we suppose ... fact is, their list of honorees over across the pond was made up of a lot of women. Actually, more than half were ladies -- out of 20 people named for the UK event, only 10 of them were actually dudes ... and that's raised some eyebrows.

Some of the women recognized as "Men of the Year" nominees there included ... Jasmine Jobson, Mary Earps, Simone Rocha and Bianca Saunders, just to name a few. When they run it back on Thursday ... Kim Kardashian will undoubtedly be in attendance.

You see ... she's actually one of the famous women who graced their 'MOTY' cover this year, and even that decision has gotten some pushback. Y'know, seeing how it's a men's mag.

Of course, GQ has been including women in their 'Men of the Year' lineup for years now ... so the people who are extra pissy about it in 2023 seem to be looking for something to be mad about. There also seems to be some misogyny afoot ... and maybe transphobia too.

The high fashion house is being dragged online for its pricy new towel skirt, with folks on social media having a field day at Balenciaga's expense.

The $925 towel skirt is part of the brand's Spring 2024 Collection, Balenciaga started taking preorders Tuesday and lots of folks are wondering what the heck is going on.

Among the mean tweets ... "Nah Balenciaga a towel skirt? 😭 who the f*** is the creative director over there" and "Balenciaga is selling a towel wrapped around somebody’s waist as a skirt for $925 😂😂😂 please be f****** for real."

Balenciaga says the $925 towel skirt is held up by 2 buttons inside the waistline and an adjustable belt with a buckle inside ... and it's made in Italy and has to be dry cleaned.

The model on the Balenciaga website is wearing the towel skirt over a pair of $1,950 cargo pants and a $1,000 zip-up hoodie.

Naturally, some social media users say they can achieve the same look for way less ... like a $5 towel from Target.

The $925 price tag seems to be the main gripe here, but one woman says ... "A TOWEL SKIRT AS A FASHION STATEMENT?!?!  Please THATS SO UGLY 😭 why balenciaga ?????"
