'Orphan' Star Help, Famously Creepy Kid Stuck in Elevator!

Published | Updated

Firefighters ran into kind of a nightmare while rescuing a teenager from an elevator ... since she's the same girl who scared the crap out of people in the horror movie, "Orphan."

Isabelle Fuhrman was trapped Monday evening in an apartment building elevator ... and L.A. City Fire Department rushed to the rescue. When they got the doors open they came face-to-face with the actress who played creepy little Esther ... and her dog, Jennings.

Of course, she wasn't in costume and she's 19 now ... so none of the firefighters had to change their shorts. After the rescue, Isabelle tweeted, "When the fire department has to save you from your elevator ... thank you #LAFD."

HE'S OUTTA THE PICTURE

Conor McGregor's not just out of UFC 200 -- he's also out of Vin Diesel's new 'xXx' movie ... and according to UFC star Michael Bisping, his part's already been written out.

McGregor pulled out of the flick last month to focus on his rematch with Nate Diaz in July -- but now that Dana White yanked him from UFC 200 for refusing to participate in the promotional campaign, we were wondering if Conor would shift his focus back to Hollywood.

But according to Bisping -- who has a role in the movie -- it's too little, too late.

"His part got written out," Bisping said as he was leaving the set in Toronto.

It's too bad for Conor ... Bisping says he's having a blast shooting the film -- and if it's any good, it could be a huge career booster for him.

Sucks to be Conor right now.

'Star Wars' Who Is Rey's Mom? Big Money Hint Uncovered

Published | Updated

The biggest mystery in the 'Star Wars' galaxy -- the identity of Rey's parents -- was partially and accidentally leaked by Lucasfilm lawyers ... at least that's how super fans will see it.

Lucasfilm just filed docs, obtained by TMZ, to own all merchandising rights for a character named Jyn Erso -- specifically for toys, clothing, footwear, books, school supplies, and stationery.

The filing happened one day after the trailer for "Rogue One: A Star Wars Story" dropped ... introducing Jyn as the main character in that prequel.

Now, the connection to Rey -- the heroine of 'Force Awakens.'

'Star Wars' geeks immediately spotted similarities between Jyn and Rey -- facial features, British accents, and generally being kick-ass chicks. So, with the rumor mill already buzzing ... you know how this merchandising move looks.

Jyn's gonna be a big player ... and there's no bigger role than birthing Rey.

BLESS THIS BIKE

Robert Patrick knows the dangers of the road, which is why he took his brand new Harley-Davidson to church to get it blessed.

Patrick -- best known as T-1000 from 'Terminator 2' -- took his hog to St. Thomas, the Apostle church in Hollywood, and got it blessed courtesy of Father Ian Elliott Davies. It's the second bike Patrick's made holy.

As for how it's done ... some words by the good Father, with a sprinkle of holy water before Sunday mass.

Patrick's endgame ... protecting him from harm as he tools down the highway.

Doris Roberts Film Project in Jeopardy Cast Keeps Dying

Published | Updated

Doris Roberts' death is causing turmoil for a movie she was set to headline ... because she's the third big name attached to the flick who has died.

One of the last movie roles Doris signed on for was the female lead in "Old Soldiers" ... which is still securing its last bit of financing before it starts production.

Problem is ... 2 of the other major roles belonged to Mickey Rooney and James Best ... who died in 2014 and 2015 respectively.

Producer Dave Rotan -- who is adamant on using actual WWII-era celebs for the road trip comedy -- tells us he's still optimistic about the film, but admits his "window of opportunity is quickly closing" on filling out a cast of elderly legends.

Rotan tells us he's not going to recast Doris' role yet -- for fear of jinxing anyone else -- and is still banking on Clifton James (94), Hugh O'Brian (91), and Rance Howard (87) to make it through filming.

Godspeed.

Prince Harry to Chewbacca Hug It Out, Bro

Published | Updated

When Harry met hairy ... it was pretty awesome.

The Prince and his bro, Prince William, got big ole wookiee hugs from Chewbacca and met a bunch of other 'Star Wars' actors Tuesday while touring Pinewood Studios near London.

William made the visit as part of his duties as President of the British Academy of Film and Television Arts. Harry looked more than happy to tag along.

The royal bros even geeked out over lightsabers, but Will needs a better grip.

NHL's Sean Avery I Got a Role In Boston Bombing Movie

Published | Updated

Pretty big opportunity for ex-NHLer-turned-actor Sean Avery ... who says he just locked up a role in Mark Wahlberg's new movie about the Boston Marathon bombings.

Avery posted a pic of himself in a Watertown PD uniform ... just days after announcing he got a role in "Patriots Day."

FYI -- The Watertown PD heroically hunted down the terrorists who placed the bombs at the 2013 Boston Marathon.

Unclear how big of a role Avery will have, but he's clearly excited about it.

As for Wahlberg, he was actually in character at the Marathon Monday to shoot scenes for the movie ... which co-stars John Goodman, Kevin Bacon and J.K. Simmons.

'Barbershop 3' Actor Gets Minor Pay For Majorly Successful Flick

Published | Updated

Michael Rainey Jr. might want to start renegotiating a contract for the next 'Barbershop' movie after the HUGE success the third installment just had at the box office.

According to his contract, the teen actor, who plays Jalen in the movie, banked $65k for "Barbershop: The Next Cut" ... which took in more than $20 million.

It's a decent payday for Rainey -- who also has a key role in 50 Cent's TV show, "Power." The bad news is ... he's getting zero back from the movie's success. Then again, he's only 15.

Pray for a role in 'Barbershop 4.'

WE ARE NOT THE SAME PEOPLE

French IndyCar racing champion Simon Pagenaud has had enough ... enough of people confusing him for Sacha Baron Cohen's wacky french driving character from 'Talladega Nights.'

We got Simon at the Grand Prix of Long Beach -- shorty before he won the damn thing -- and asked about his uncanny resemblance to Jean Girard ... Ricky Bobby's Franco-Foe in 'Talladega Nights.'

The resemblance is pretty uncanny ... and SP says he gets heckled and taunted for it all the time ... but tells our camera girl he's ready for it to stop ... FOREVER.

Good luck, dude ... might have to learn to live with this one.

David Hasselhoff No More Alimony!!! I Want to Retire

Published | Updated

David Hasselhoff wants time on the beach -- for retirement, not "Baywatch" -- but an obstacle is standing in his way ... his ex-wife.

The Hoff filed legal docs asking a judge to cut off all spousal support to Pamela Bach, whom he divorced in 2006. David's been paying Pam $21,000 a month for nearly 10 years, and he says she's made absolutely no effort to become self-supporting.

David tells the judge he's getting to the age where retirement should be looming, but he says that can't happen with a gigantic, monthly alimony nut.

The 63-year-old says he's looting his retirement account because his monthly gross -- $112,000 -- is not enough to cover his expenses and spousal support.

David says Pam, who's 52, is a talented actor and producer and could easily get a job.

Tom Cruise Movie Death Untrained Pilot Killed My Husband ... Widow Sues

Published | Updated

The widow of a pilot killed on the set of Tom Cruise's Pablo Escobar movie says her husband only died because the filmmakers put his life in the hands of an incompetent flier.

Alan Purwin, a veteran Hollywood stunt pilot, was working closely with Cruise on "Mena" last year. He was a passenger onboard a small plane that went down in the Colombian jungle on the last day of filming.

Kathryn Purwin is suing Cross Creek Pictures, the film's producer, saying Carlos Berl -- the man at the stick when the plane went down -- didn't have the "necessary skills" and had no business flying the aircraft. Berl was also killed in the crash.

Kathryn wants damages and funeral expenses from Cross Creek.

Jamie Foxx I Keep My Glock Handy

Published | Updated

Jamie Foxx has some brand new high caliber ink -- a 9mm handgun -- which he flashed onstage with Reese Witherspoon.

Jamie's Glock handgun tattoo was on display during his appearance at a Stand Up To Cancer event ... but like he's done in the past -- it's a fake. He got it for his new movie "Baby Driver," which comes out next year.

Handguns or tribal head tatts -- like he got for "Horrible Bosses" -- neither's gonna look good at Thanksgiving dinner. Good thing they're temps.

'Barbershop 3' Movie Will Hit The Big Screen Judge Cuts Up Lawsuit

Published | Updated

The man trying to shut down the release of "Barbershop: The Next Cut" just got snipped by a judge.

Law enforcement tells TMZ the ruling was made Thursday in L.A. ... saying JD Lawrence didn't have enough to back up his claim the movie's release would damage him beyond repair.

TMZ broke the story ... Lawrence went after Warner Bros and Showtime for the 'Barbershop' movies and TV series ... saying there were uncanny similarities to scenes from his stage play "Scissors." Lawrence asked for at least $20 million in damages.

A rep for Warner Bros and MGM (distributors for 'Next Cut') tells TMZ, "We are pleased the judge saw through this thinly-veiled attempt to extort the companies that have invested over 14 years and millions of dollars to bring the beloved 'Barbershop' franchise to audiences worldwide."

BOOOOOO!!!!

Jennifer Aniston was way more than fashionably late for the premiere of her new flick "Mother's Day" ... and fans outside made her pay the price.

Watch what happened when she stepped out of her ride and gave a little wave. The crowd absolutely turned on a dime ... before Jen rushed inside the theater.

We're told the reception inside wasn't much warmer. Sources inside the event tell us some of Aniston's high-profile co-stars -- who'd been inside waiting for an hour -- were pissed she made everyone wait.
