Paris Jackson tried to play it off pretty cool while hanging with her father's old pal, Paul McCartney ... but don't be fooled, she totally lost it.

Paris hung with Paul Tuesday night in L.A. at his daughter Stella McCartney's Autumn/Winter clothing line bash. We're guessing part of the reason she freaked is Michael Jackson's history with Paul -- two top 10 hits, and the whole Beatles catalog deal.

Goldie Hawn was front row with Stella, while Kate Hudson shot video ... and it's easy to see why everybody geeked out -- Paul's still got it!

The NAACP Image Awards brought out a ton of stars for the main show ... and just as many to the after-party.

Celebs like Anthony Anderson, Danny Glover, Issa Rae, Keegan-Michael Key, Jordan Peele, Caleb McLaughlin, Chadwick Boseman, Deon Cole and lots more showed up and showed out after the show ... all of whom were dressed to the nines.

As we reported ... Anthony roasted Tyrese during the opening monologue, making fun of his breakdown. And, of course, Halle Berry went commando earlier in the night, too.

"Three shithole dudes just living the dream."

That's how Team U.S.A. soccer stud Jozy Altidore captioned his Instagram pic with Usain Bolt and P.K. Subban this weekend in the wake of Donald Trump's comments.

The 3 superstars all have ties to the Caribbean -- Usain's obviously Jamaican, Jozy's parents are Haitian and P.K.'s parents are from the islands, too.

So, when they got together at Rockwell nightclub in Miami -- Jozy used the opportunity to send a message to President Trump.

Then they proceeded to party their faces off.

In response to Jozy's post, Rockwell said it was a "pleasure having three class acts join us.”

NHL superstar Connor McDavid is FINALLY legally allowed to drink in America ... and he celebrated by blowing it out at a Vegas nightclub -- with the guys from The Chainsmokers.

The Edmonton Oilers captain hit up XS Nightclub in the Encore hours after beating the Vegas Golden Knights in an overtime thriller ... and got the V.I.P. treatment with a massive welcoming party.

The better news for McDavid ... the Oilers don't play again until Saturday -- so he's got an entire week to celebrate (and recover) before going back to work.

Elon Musk and Amber Heard have made another big move in their relationship ... on the dance floor!

The possibly-on-again couple arrived together at The Abbey in West Hollywood Saturday around 1 AM. We're told they had some drinks and danced with a few friends.

Usain Bolt definitely knows how to get a party going ... so it's only fitting Steve Aoki enlisted the fastest man alive to get the crowd LIT at his Vegas show Wednesday night!!

Aoki brought the Jamaican track superstar behind his booth to showcase his killer moves ... and you can tell Bolt's dancing hasn't lost a step in retirement.

FYI -- Bolt's dabbled in the DJ industry in the past, and has expressed interest in pursuing a career on the 1s and 2s ... so it's very possible he was getting some solid pointers from Aoki as well.

Drake and Zoë Kravitz partied like it's 2013, getting all handsy and rekindling an old flame ... or so it seems.

OVO and Zoë were together at Netflix's Golden Globes party Sunday night, and it wasn't hard to tell they have some history. They had their arms around each other at one point. When they weren't chatting ... Drake was doing his thing behind the turntables as Zoë danced along to Wizkid's "Show You The Money."

Drake and Zoë were rumored to be an item back in 2013 and you'll recall she posted this pic in 2014 wishing him happy birthday. Zoë told Andy Cohen last year she used to hang out with Drake, and we all know what that means.

Coachella 2018 falls on 4/20, but those hoping to score and smoke weed openly in Indio are outta luck, despite California legalizing it.

The city of Indio, where Coachella takes place, is cracking down on marijuana use. The city isn't allowing the selling, cultivating or distributing of cannabis. Under the new law, each town can decide whether to allow recreational weed sales, and -- sorry to harsh your Queen Bey buzz -- Indio's decided it's a no.

Coachella isn't allowing marijuana or marijuana products on the festival site either.

The city of Indio still has to abide by state law which now allows you to possess a small amount of bud for personal use, but you can't smoke it out in the open.

One glimmer of hope -- neighboring cities like Palm Springs, Cathedral City and Desert Hot Springs are all weed-friendly, so if you're over 21 you can hit up a licensed dispensary there.

Paris Hilton and the Palms Casino in Vegas have a very special relationship ... so it's fitting they're both looking forward to a big 2018.

The Palms put up a congratulatory shout-out to Paris on their marquee this week in honor of her recent engagement to Chris Zylka ... and also plans to gift her a piece of its iconic sign when it gets replaced later this year, as part of a $485 mil property renovation.

So, why all the love? Well, Hilton's been with the hotel and casino since day 1 -- she opened it in 2001 while wearing a million-dollar dress made of casino chips.

We're told because Paris is part of Palms' history ... Palms wanted part of its history to be with her. Oh, and it says if she needs a place to celebrate her bachelorette party ... "our door is always open for you."

Golden Globes nominees James Franco, Tracee Ellis Ross, Kyle MacLachlan aren't waiting around 'til Sunday's award show to start partying.

W Magazine held their Golden Globes pre-party at Chateau Marmont Thursday night and it brought out some big celebs.

Justin Hartley, whose show "This Is Us" is nominated for a Best Television Drama Series, showed up with his new wife. Kate Beckinsale, Salma Hayek, Jim Belushi, Cody Simpson, Selma Blair, Candace Cameron Bure and Mena Suvari were there too.

Gotta hand it to the East Coasters Tommy Hilfiger and Patriots owner Robert Kraft for making it out of town during the bomb cyclone. Must've been a helluva party.

Todd Gurley had a big Thursday night -- hitting up the Clippers game and then Delilah (popular L.A. hotspot) ... just 2 days before the Rams take the field against the Falcons in the NFL playoffs.

TMZ Sports was at Delilah (a swanky restaurant and lounge) when we saw Gurley cruising in around 11:30 PM. He's such a big star in L.A., all he had to do was nod at the bouncer to get inside.

No word on when he left or if he even had a sip of alcohol (guessing he didn't) ... he may have just been stopping by to say hi to a friend.

Of course, the Rams play ATL in the Wild Card Round on Saturday -- and if Gurley, who's on fire right now, runs over the Falcons, no one will care about his night habits.
