Diane Warren says we've taken enough crap from Donald Trump, so it's only fair to s**t on him.

We got the songwriting legend in WeHo Tuesday night at Craig's and asked her about the proposal to remove Trump's star from the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Warren's out-of-the-box response ... "I think someone should take a s**t on it!"

Diane -- one of the most successful songwriters in the world with 9 Oscar nominations -- goes even further with her potty talk.

Donald Trump might claim he's doing wonders for the U.S. economy, but that's total BS when it comes to a couple businesses close to the Prez ... ident's Walk of Fame star.

Employees from Forever 21 and American Eagle in Hollywood tell TMZ ... business has not been booming lately, and they're placing the blame squarely on the Trump star on the sidewalk in front of their entrances.

Forever 21 folks say issues with the star -- including its destruction by another guy with a pickax and brawls breaking out -- have scared tourists off. We're told the stores have experienced a significant drop in revenue.

American Eagle workers say July is usually their busiest month, but that wasn't the case this summer. The store constantly contacts cops about crowds in front ... there for the star and not shopping.

An AE employee says Trump's star literally hijacks attention from the store, and business has actually suffered since Trump was sworn in.

Donald Trump, the man who callously separated children from their parents and forever traumatized them in the process, has viciously attacked LeBron James, the man who just opened a school for hundreds of poor children and probably saved them in the process.

The most vile President ever to hold office tweeted late Friday night, "Lebron (sic) James was just interviewed by the dumbest man on television, Don Lemon. He made Lebron (sic) look smart, which isn't easy to do. I like Mike."

LeBron was on CNN this week, unveiling plans for the I Promise School in his hometown of Akron -- which has opened its doors to 3rd and 4th graders, and set to expand to 1st - 8th graders by 2022. LeBron is giving every student all sorts of benefits, from bicycles to free tuition at the Univ. of Akron.

Trump, who bumbles through speeches and brags how he is unprepared, is clearly continuing his campaign of hatred and prejudice.

What's especially amazing ... LeBron actually exercised restraint on Lemon's show in criticizing the President. The grossly insecure President, who is manic over and obsessed with cable news, simply cannot handle criticism and responds with wild and baseless personal attacks.

Don Lemon responded by saying, "Who's the real dummy? A man who puts kids in classrooms or one who puts kids in cages? #BeBest."

10:15 AM PT -- Michael Jordan just weighed in on Trump's tweet, as well, telling NBC News ... "I support LJ. He’s doing an amazing job for his community.”

It's the least surprising thing this week ... that sports stars and other celebs are appalled by the President of the United States calling LeBron James dumb in a late Friday night tweet. If this were a limbo contest, Donald Trump would blow everyone away, because no one could go lower.

He's not closing the book on his NFL career, but Richie Incognito is already planning for life after football -- telling TMZ Sports he wants to be a politician.

The 35-year-old Pro Bowl lineman joined the guys on the "TMZ Sports" TV show -- and spelled out his career plan after he hangs up the pads for good.

"I'm all about the land of opportunity. I'm about enriching everybody in America. And, you know, hopefully one day run for public office," Incognito said.

"I see myself as a public servant now, now that I'm done playing. I love it. I want to be a politician."

So, what experience does he have?

"I think I'm the president of the HOA now," Richie joked ... "I've written some pretty nasty emails for cars parked in the yard."

As for Richie's NFL future -- Incognito says he's gotten calls from several teams ... but he's still weighing his options.

The poor sap who tried selling a piece of Donald Trump's Hollywood Walk of Fame star on eBay just had his get-rich-quick dreams shattered ... without a pickax.

A rep for eBay tells TMZ the user's post violated the company's "Other Illegal Activity" provision -- which prohibits the sale of items or links to items that encourage, promote, facilitate, or instruct others to engage in illegal activities.

In layman's terms: vandalism is illegal, so ya can't make a quick buck off it here!

We broke the story ... the eBay user was trying to hawk a tiny remnant of Trump's star after Austin Clay obliterated it with a pickax. His minimum bid was $500, but he's crap outta luck now.

LeBron James says Donald Trump is using sports to create a racial divide in America ... and he won't sit back quietly anymore.

"What I've noticed over the last few months that he's kinda used sport to kinda divide us, and that's something that I can't relate to," James told CNN's Don Lemon at the opening of his I Promise school in Akron, Ohio.

It seems James is referencing Trump's stance on the national anthem demonstrations in the NFL -- the President has suggested firing any player who takes a knee during "The Star-Spangled Banner."

But, James says sports shouldn't divide people -- it should bring people of all races and backgrounds together.

"Sports was the first time I was ever around someone white. I got an opportunity to see them and learn about them, and they got the opportunity to learn about me and we became very good friends and I was like, ‘Oh wow, this is all because of sports.'”

Of course, LeBron has been very critical of Trump in the past -- even calling him a clown.

No tweet from Trump yet ... but guessing that's just a matter of time.

Donald Trump's Walk of Fame star has been a lightning rod for violence, but it's going to weather the storm and stay put because cops and the group that manages the Walk of Fame don't want it 86'd.

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ ... the LAPD has met with the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce, and both orgs realize they're between a rock and a hard place. They know by keeping Trump's star front and center on the famed Blvd., it will be at the center of what has become a civil war between raging Trump and anti-Trump factions.

Here's the problem ... the Chamber and LAPD both agree it would be even worse to remove the star because that would embolden people to deface the stars of celebs they dislike.

So, the decision has been made to keep Trump's star in its place, knowing it will probably be destroyed again, and possibly again ... and again ... and again. Even worse, the Chamber and LAPD are keenly aware the warring factions will be using the star as a battleground.

As we reported, violence erupted Thursday night where protesters punched, kicked and otherwise abused their opponents.

The remains of Donald Trump's Hollywood Walk of Fame star are now on the open market ... but it won't come cheap, despite the fact it's pocket-sized.

An eBay user who says he nabbed a piece of the star debris after Austin Clay obliterated it with a pickax, has put it up for auction ... with a starting bid of $500.

There's still about a week left on the auction, but as of now -- nobody's biting.

More bad news for the seller too -- since the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce legally owns the Trump star -- even the smashed up bits -- it has the power to shut down the sale.

Jerry Jones officially laid the hammer down on the Cowboys' national anthem stance Thursday ... telling reporters, "Our policy is that you stand at the anthem, toe on the line."

Guess who was thrilled to hear that??

"Way to go Jerry," Donald Trump tweeted early Friday morning ... "This is what the league should do!"

The Cowboys owner wasn't the only one going bold on the issue this week ... with Jerry's son and Cowboys EVP Stephen Jones implying the Cowboys could CUT players if they don't follow the orders.

"When you're wearing the Dallas Cowboy uniform and a Dallas Cowboy helmet and you're working for the Dallas Cowboys, you check the 'I' and the 'me' at the door, and you're a part of a team," Stephen says.

The latest man to take a pickax to Donald Trump's Hollywood Walk of Fame star says he was so fed up with the President he had to let it all out, and despite getting arrested ... he's happy he did.

Austin Clay tells TMZ ... POTUS' treatment of immigrant families was the spark that set him off, and taking it out on Trump's star seemed like the perfect way to send a message.

It's unclear if Trump got the message, but Clay and his GF say his pickax attack caught the eye of a couple celebs ... including noted Trump foe Robert De Niro.

As we reported, Clay was arrested after destroying the star around 3 AM Wednesday and calling the cops on himself. OG Trump star vandal, James Otis, offered to pay his $20k bail ... but Austin tells us he was released this morning after someone else did. He didn't say who.

Some of the cops who orchestrated Stormy Daniels' Ohio arrest openly revere President Trump ... according to a reporter who says there's proof the bust was political revenge.

Derek Myers is the interim editor-in-chief at the Fayette Advocate who uncovered emails to and from the arresting officer. He tells TMZ ... one involved officer would openly say "Make America Great Again," and another had a Twitter "shrine" to POTUS.

As we reported ... Myers obtained several emails between high-ranking Columbus cops who gathered details about Stormy 2 days before she was scheduled to perform at a strip club there.

Michael Avenatti has claimed all along his client's arrest was really about politics, and Myers says that's more than just a theory.

Marco Rubio doesn't need convincing Vladimir Putin kills his opponents ... he says it's obvious.

We got the Senator from Florida in D.C. Tuesday to get his take on Putin straight-up getting asked by FOX News host Chris Wallace why so many of his political rivals end up dead.

You'll recall Putin answered by calling out the U.S. for the assassinations of JFK and MLK. Rubio ain't buying the answer because there's a fundamental difference in those murders.

President Trump threw the U.S. under the bus by publicly taking Vladimir Putin's word that Russia didn't meddle in the 2016 election ... so says Massachusetts' U.S. senator.

We got Sen. Ed Markey Monday in D.C. and he said Trump's display in Helsinki makes it clear he's only looking out for himself in dealing with Putin. He defied U.S. intelligence info, and said he didn't see any reason why Russia would have meddled in our elections.

Markey says Monday's summit should have been confrontational, but instead turned into an embarrassing display of virtual ass-kissing.

President Trump's historic summit with Russia's Vladimir Putin didn't come cheap ... U.S. taxpayers are on the hook for more than $300k ... TMZ has learned.

According to federal docs -- obtained by TMZ -- the State Department made tons of new purchase orders specifically for Monday's Trump-Putin summit in Helsinki, Finland. For hotels alone, the bill was $128,681.39. Tech support was a cool $100,972.50, and that included $12k alone for laptop/printer rentals.

And, as much as Trump hates the "fake news" media, he still fed them pretty well. Catering for the press cost $52,703.38. The Secret Service's ballistic glass installation and removal alone cost $15,913.35. There's also a $56k airport hangar rental fee. All in all ... the U.S. Gov dropped $302,124.62.

Presidents Trump and Putin got a thing going on ... a love thing, if ya buy into the satirical cartoon The New York Times just released, which is already stirring a ton of controversy.

"Trump and Putin: A Love Story" uses real soundbites from POTUS and puts them over images of the leaders on a date -- cruising in a car and riding a unicorn surrounded by rainbows and hearts.

Their rendezvous takes a TV-MA turn, though -- Trump tweaks Putin's nipples, they make out and, finally ... there's some intense tongue wrestling.

Some people think the whole thing is extremely homophobic, and others see it as hilarious.

So, we gotta ask ...
