New York City native Cathy Silvers was only 19 years old when she landed the role of the teenage, boy-crazy best friend, Jenny Piccalo, in the last few seasons of the classic ABC sitcom, "Happy Days."

Cathy Silver was cast alongside epic actors like Erin Moran, as the best friend and kid sis, Joanie Cunningham and, of course, Ron Howard as the big bro and protagonist, Richie Cunningham.

Fun Fact: Cathy's real dad, Phil Silvers, was on one episode of "Happy Days" ... to play the father of Jenny Piccalo.

Oklahoma native Cindy Pickett was in her late 30s when she took on the role of the gullible and loving mother, Katie Bueller -- who can't believe her ill son could be absent niiiiiine times?! -- in John Hughes' 1986 classic movie masterpiece, "Ferris Bueller's Day Off."

Cindy Pickett was in the sick flick with an epic cast including Alan Ruck as the Ferrari-kicking Cameron Frye, Jeffrey Jones as the highly suspicious Principal Ed Rooney, Jennifer Grey as the pissed off sister, Jeanie ... and, of course, Matthew Broderick as the sly skipper, Ferris Bueller.

Pickett was also the hot mom, Connie, in the funny 1993 farm film, "Son In Law," with Pauly Shore.

The high school wrestling referee who told a black wrestler to cut his dreadlocks in order to compete has been suspended for TWO SEASONS over the incident, officials announced.

As we previously reported, referee Alan Maloney (who is white) told 16-year-old Andrew Johnson (who is black) to either cut off his dreadlocks or forfeit a Dec. 2018 match.

Johnson -- who was only given 90 seconds to make his decision -- opted for the haircut ... and video of the shameful moment went viral.

Now, the New Jersey State Interscholastic Athletic Association has said the incident has been investigated in association with the NJ division on Civil Rights and they agreed on a 2-year suspension.

"Student athletes should be able to compete with each other on a level playing field," Attorney General Gurbir Grewal said in a statement.

"Racial discrimination in the enforcement of the rules of any sport is inconsistent with the spirit of fair play. The Division on Civil Rights' action today makes it less likely that any student athlete will have to endure discrimination that not only undermines fair competition but also violates our state laws."

Rachel Wainer Apter, a division director for the civil rights division, labelled Maloney's actions as "discrimination" and "a persistent form of anti-Black racism."

"This guidance makes clear that employers, housing providers and places of public accommodation cannot police Black hair. And the [decision] will ensure that high school athletes across the State can focus on being their best, not worrying that their hair will subject them to differential treatment based on race."

For his part, Maloney has always insisted he was simply enforcing state rules pertaining to hair and did nothing wrong.

San Jose-born Kate Sargeant kicked her career off in Hollywood with the striking character, Emily -- who is the friendly neighbor girl and subject of the classic line, "Rocky loves Emily" -- in the OG 1992 kids karate movie, "3 Ninjas."

Kate Sargeant was alongside the butt-kicking cast including the three martial arts experts, Max Elliott Slade as the fast-moving Jeffrey "Colt" Douglas, Chad Power as the youngest boy who will eat anything, Michael "Tum Tum" Douglas ... and of course Michael Treanor as the solid love interest, Sam "Rocky" Douglas.

After "3 Ninjas," Sargeant was in one episode of "Sister, Sister" as well as the TV movie "Freaky Friday."

Artie Lange is more than 7 months sober and looking happy and healthy, and interestingly ... he says his messed up nose is partly to thank for keeping him clean.

The comedian and "Crashing" star tells TMZ ... he likes his pancaked nose because it's a helpful reminder of 30 years of drug abuse and all the terrible places it led him. Seriously terrible -- like accidentally snorting glass -- and much more Artie's not afraid to share.

Of course, this January mug shot following his arrest for a failed drug test while on probation painted the sad picture of how low he'd sunk.

Artie says he wants his story -- and his nose -- to be a cautionary tale for young people to not follow his path, and that fame and fortune don't make you immune to the perils of addiction.

Lange admits it got so bad for him he accepted he was going to die alone in a hotel room and become another victim of drug abuse like some of his comedian buddies before him. Fortunately, Artie says God had another plan for him.

He's in recovery now, and shared a photo of himself on Twitter this week at the 7.5-month sober mark. He tells us staying focused on comedy and writing is helping him stay clean ... along with sticking to the 12-step program and going to meetings.

As for his gnarly nose ... Artie tells us he caught wind of our interview with "Botched" Dr. Paul Nassif while he was in jail, when the Doc said he'd fix Lange's nose if he could kick his drug habit.

Canadian-born actress Martha MacIsaac is best known for her role as the Goldslick love interest, Becca -- who parties too hard and pukes the bed -- in the 2007 coming-of-age comedy, "Superbad."

Martha MacIsaac joined an awesome group of young actors for the high school party film including Emma Stone as the party-hosting hottie, Jules, Jonah Hill as the home ec loner and party starter, Seth, Christopher Mintz-Plasse as the 25-year-old Hawaii native, Fogell AKA McLovin ... and of course, Michael Cera as the soft-spoken, angsty archetype and Becca's love interest, Evan.

Indiana native Kerri Kenney arrested the world's heart with her kooky character, Deputy Trudy Wiegel, on the hilarious Comedy Central cop show "Reno 911!" and the 2007 film follow-up, "Reno 911!: Miami."

Kerri Kenny was cast in the mockumentary alongside an awesome squad of stars, including Cedric Yarbrough as the dreamy "Jonesy," Robert Ben Garant as the NASCAR loving clumsy cop Junior, Carlos Alazraqui as the trigger happy Garcia, Niecy Nash as the fierce one on the force Raineesha Williams, Wendi McLendon-Covey as the buxom babe with a badge Johnson ... and, of course, Thomas Lennon as the leggy leader Lieutenant Jim Dangle.

Jenelle Evans and David Eason are walking away from the cameras, so they say, while she pushes her new cosmetics line.

Jenelle and David hit up the Elf Sacks clothing fashion show Saturday at New York Fashion Week and even scored front row seats.

They told our photog everything's back to normal. Their kids are back home and in school. Of course, as we reported, the kids were taken away by Children's Services after David shot and killed the family dog. The judge eventually gave the kids back to Jenelle and David, and the Children's Services case was dropped.

Ohio-born A.J. Langer is best known for her role as the out of control best friend, Rayanne Graff, in the short-lived television teen drama "My So-Called Life" between 1994 and 1995.

A.J. Langer was cast on the ABC show alongside stars like Wilson Cruz as the gay best friend, Enrique "Rickie" Vasquez, Jared Leto as the bad boy and love interest, Jordan Catalano, and of course Claire Danes as the Liberty High School sophomore ... and narrator ... Angela Chase.

Langer was also in other television shows like "Coach," "Seinfeld" and "Touched by an Angel."

San Diego-born Shauna Sand made a name for herself in the '90s as a model and actress but was most-notably nude as the sexy centerfold in May, 1996 as Playboy's Playmate of the Month.

Shauna Sands was in a handful of episodes of the classic under cover cop show "Renegade" where she was cast alongside her hubby, Lorenzo Lamas, as the biker bad boy Reno Raines.

Sands continues to model and also sells worn (and signed) lacy lingerie, Lucite high-heel shoes and hot personalized photos on her eBay account.

George Washington's real-life hair is hitting the auction block -- and the people selling it think it'll go for tens of thousands of dollars ... can't lie, that's nuts.

That's right ... the first President of these United States is having a thick lock of what's been presented as his actual hair sold at auction next month though RR's online auction house -- which we're told is expected to fetch upwards of $50k, maybe more.

Our sources tell us this particular lock of white hair -- measuring in at 4 inches -- was cut by one of George's relatives while he was serving as Prez in 1790. It was memorialized with a handwritten "letter of provenance" (like a certificate of authenticity) in 1889 as it was passed to different parties, including the man who introduced caramel candy to America.

The letter reads, in part ... "This lock of hair was cut from the head of George Washington, about the year 1790, by a relative of his. It was presented by this same relative to Capt. Samuel Butman of Newburyport, Essex County, Massachusetts; with whom the aforesaid relative made several trips from Alexandria, Va, to the port of Newburyport."

It goes on to say that Captain Butman's widow gave the relic to someone named George M. Elliott, who went on to gift it to the guy who finally gave it to C.F. Gunther ... the caramel guy.

Wanna know something even cooler? GW supposedly didn't wear a wig -- like many of his contemporaries -- and actually powdered his own 'do. It's possible he might've had grey or white hair in 1790 (he was about 58), but George was naturally a brownish-redhead.

If you think $50k is kinda steep for old musty follicles, welp ... history's been written, and we're just paying the price. And, guess what ... it ain't cheap.

Pennsylvania-native Jimmy Pop (real name James Franks) was in his early 20s when he gained fame as the wacky rapper with creative lyrics in the '90s musical mash-up, Bloodhound Gang.

Jimmy Pop is best known for his hysterical lines in the slapstick songs "Fire Water Burn," "The Bad Touch" and even the 2005 follow-up, "Foxtrot Uniform Charlie Kilo."

After goofing around in the music biz, Pop could be seen messing around on prank shows like "CKY 4 The Latest & Greatest" and MTV's dummy programs, "Viva La Bam" and "The Dudesons."

California Native Bobby Trendy (real name Raymond Muro) gained fame in the early 2000s when he was added to the crazy cast of characters as the lip-glossed interior decorator and ornate sidekick of Anna Nicole Smith on the E! reality show, "The Anna Nicole Show."

Bobby Trendy was cast alongside other kooky personas including Anna's lawyer, Howard K. Stern, Her son, Daniel Smith, Anna's edgy assistant, Kim Walther, and of course, Anna's canine companion, Sugar Pie.

Trendy now continues to design high-end furniture and was even on an episode of the reality show "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills."

Priyanka Chopra heard an earful from a frustrated fan who called her a hypocrite for seemingly advocating for peace ... but clearly choosing sides in the India-Pakistan conflict.

The tense moment went down Sunday in L.A., where Priyanka was attending the Beautycon event and fielding questions from the crowd during a Q&A. A woman, who called herself Ayesha and identified as Pakistani, says it's difficult to hear her talk about humanity, when she clearly feels a certain way about recent violence in her home region.

The woman called Priyanka out for a tweet she posted in February that translated to "Long live India" -- the same day an Indian fighter jet bombed a militant training camp in Pakistan.

She went in on Priyanka, saying ... "So, it was kinda hard hearing you talk about humanity, because as your neighbor -- a Pakistani -- I know you're a bit of a hypocrite." The woman points out that Priyanka is a UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador, and that in her eyes ... the tweet was encouraging nuclear war against Pakistan.

Security rushed over and yanked the mic away from the woman, but she continued with her thoughts ... saying she was a longtime fan of hers and her Bollywood career.

Priyanka's response has raised some eyebrows, as she asks if the woman is done venting ... and then chastised her for yelling. Before that though, Priyanka said she has many friends from Pakistan, and that war's something she's not really fond of -- but she is patriotic.

Priyanka says we all have to walk a middle ground, but then told the girl not to embarrass herself by making such a scene ... adding, "we're all here for love."

The actress caught flak initially after sending out her tweet, with some calling for her to resign from UNICEF, which many believe is supposed to be neutral in international squabbles.

Boston born Eliza Dushku shot to the top of the Hollywood human pyramid as the Rancho Carne high school cheerleader, Missy Pantone -- who spots the routine rip-offs -- in the spirited 2000 film, "Bring It On."

Eliza Dushku had some serious squad goals on the fun flick ... Dushku was cast alongside stars like Kristen Dunst as the Toros' leader, Torrance Shipman, Jesse Bradford as Missy's dreamboat brother, Cliff Pantone and, of course, Gabrielle Union as the Clover's cross-town captain, Isis.

Eliza went on to be in other big-screen bangers like "Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back," "The New Guy" and "Wrong Turn."

Dwayne Johnson has always been rockin' good looks!

Here's a 29-year-old version of the former professional wrestler spotted showing off his shady side during an event for his movie, "The Mummy Returns," in Santa Monica back in 2001 (left).

18 years later ... the now 47-year-old actor is the father to three daughters. Johnson spent 8 years in the WWE before pursuing acting as a full time career. Johnson is now an action movie icon and was recently photographed looking better than ever at the premiere of his new film "Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw" in Hollywood earlier this past month (right).
