Rachel Uchitel My Hubby Has DEFAMED ME!

Published | Updated

Rachel Uchitel is fighting back at her husband Matt Hahn -- who claims he's the victim of "cruel and inhumane treatment" -- telling TMZ his allegation is a bold-faced lie and defamatory.

Uchitel's rep tells TMZ it was Rachel's desire to resolve the divorce privately, but Matt came out of the gate grandstanding for the media.

TMZ broke the story ... Rachel called the cops last month after the two got into a heated argument that ended with Matt calling her names and Rachel striking back with a few slaps. Matt has now filed for divorce and wants full custody of their 1-year-old daughter, as well as child and spousal support. He even wants her to pay his health and life insurance.

Uchitel's rep, Howard Bragman, tells TMZ, she will "vigorously defend herself against Matt Hahn's false and defamatory claim of 'cruel and inhumane treatment.'"

Sources connected with the case tell TMZ ... Uchitel will not ask Matt for any money. All she wants is primary custody.

Jane Lynch A House Divided Cannot Stand

Published | Updated

Jane Lynch's 3-year marriage is coming to an end ... and a contributing factor may well have been a major remodel.

Lynch and her wife, Dr. Lara Embry, were in the middle of top-to-bottom renovation of their Hollywood Hills home when the marriage fell apart.

So you scoff at the notion a remodel could torpedo a relationship? Well in your face, because the L.A. Times even ran a story explaining that the stress caused by remodeling ranks somewhere between infidelity and meddling mother-in-laws.

You may also recall ... the marriage of WWE champ John Cena also imploded during a major remodel.

Short story -- a new bathroom or a new wife? Your choice.

Rachel Uchitel Getting Divorced

Published | Updated

3:47 AM PT: Hahn is asking for custody of their 1-year-old as well as child support and spousal support.

Hahn states in his divorce filing he wants the divorce on grounds of "cruel and inhuman treatment ... such that the conduct of the defendant [Rachel] so endangers the physical or mental well being of the plaintiff as renders it unsafe or improper for the plaintiff to cohabit with the defendant."

Although Hahn is asking for an "equitable distribution of marital assets," it's pretty certain Rachel's settlement with Tiger Woods will remain hers.

Rachel Uchitel is getting divorced after a stormy relationship that blew up last month when she called 911 on her husband ... TMZ has learned.

Sources connected with the couple tell TMZ ... Rachel's husband, Matt Hahn, filed for divorce Monday, citing "cruel and inhumane treatment."

Our sources say ... there were many explosive, verbal arguments. We're also told Matt alleges Rachel slapped him after he repeatedly called her names. FYI, Matt is a former Penn State football player.

As for the 911 call ... we're told Rachel called NYC cops on May 16 after a particularly nasty verbal argument, asking for help in getting Matt out of the house. We're told Rachel did not follow up and did not pursue charges against Matt.

Rachel and Matt were married a year-and-a-half ago. They have a 1-year-old daughter.

Rachel's rep, Howard Bragman, tells TMZ, "It is Ms. Uchitel's goal to resolve this action amicably, quickly and quietly and not in the media."

Jane Lynch My Gay Marriage Is Over

Published | Updated

Jane Lynch is pulling the plug on her marriage to wife Dr. Lara Embry ... just 3 years after tying the knot in Massachusetts, where gay marriage is legal.

Lynch just released a statement to People.com saying, "Lara and I have decided to end our marriage. This has been a difficult decision for us as we care very deeply about one another."

The 52-year-old "Glee" star met 44-year-old Embry back in 2009 at a fundraiser in San Francisco ... and they married in 2010.

Lynch and Embry are California residents and a California court will almost certainly dissolve the marriage, even though gay marriages are not legal in California. The State recognizes marriages from places where gay marriage is legal.

Now ... California is a community property state, which means unless there's a prenup, Lynch and Embry would split all assets acquired during the marriage 50/50. Although Embry's no slouch, Lynch has made a bundle on "Glee" and other projects.

Sources connected with the former couple tell TMZ ... they don't have a prenup.

Todd Bridges I Make LESS Than $25k Per Year

Published | Updated

Todd Bridges is not a wealthy man ... this according to Todd Bridges.

The former "Diff'rent Strokes" actor just filed new docs in his divorce from longtime wife Dori Bridges, stating that he only makes a grand total of $22,500 per year from his career as an actor ... and that's BEFORE TAXES.

It's a bit of a problem for Bridges ... who, in the docs, claims he spends roughly $4,306 per month ... including a $1,520 monthly mortgage payment.

Todd says Dori was making $1,750 per month ... but combined with Todd's income, it still wasn't enough to cover their average monthly spending

It appears the beef is over how much child support Todd will have to ante up.

Todd announced his split from Dori last year -- but insists the two remain good friends. They have 1 kid together.

Lakers Star Steve Nash Judge Rules GF Can Fly with Kids

Published | Updated

L.A. Lakers star Steve Nash just won a victory in his custody war with his ex, but it's small potatoes compared to what's ultimately at stake.

A judge in the case just ruled ... Steve's live-in girlfriend, Brittany Richardson, is allowed to accompany the 3 kids without Steve from L.A. to Arizona and back. Steve's ex, Alejandra Nash, had objected to Brittany taking charge of the kids on grounds she wasn't a family member.

The judge ruled ... Brittany was as much a family member as the nanny, who is allowed to care for the children.

There's a bigger issue on the line. Both Steve and Alejandra are waiting for the judge to rule on whether she can move from Phoenix to L.A. Steve has objected ... he says because L.A. is a lousy place to raise kids. Alejandra scoffs at Steve's objection, saying it's a smoke screen and the real reason he doesn't want her to move is because a California judge would nail him with child support.

The judge is expected to rule any day.

Russian Prez Vladimir Putin The Most Civilized Divorce EVER

Published | Updated

Vladimir Putin could teach Beverly Hills celebs like Kelsey Grammer a thing or 2 about divorce ... like announcing the end of your marriage after a lovely evening with your estranged wife at the ballet!

It's pretty incredible. Putin and his wife, Lyudmila Putina, walked out of a performance of Esmeralda at the Great Kremlin Palace when a reporter gingerly began asking the Prez questions about rumors -- rumors that the 2 were living apart. Putin responded directly ... almost matter-of-factly, "This is so."

The reporter wasn't satisfied, knowing there must be more. So he threw a Hail Mary: "I am afraid to say this word 'divorce.'" Lyudmila responded, "Yes, this is a civilized divorce."

No s**t.

Apparently the divorce isn't final yet. When it happens, it will end a 30-year marriage.

As for why ... Lyudmila has bitched about the fact that her hubby is all work and no play. But it seems like he plays, because there have been persistent rumors he's banging a gymnast half his age.

They don't call him Putin for nothin'.

Michael Douglas' Ex-Wife My Lady Junk Was Clean as a Whistle

Michael Douglas' ex-wife wants to make something perfectly clear -- eating out was safe when he was married to her.

Douglas told a British paper over the weekend ... his 2010 throat cancer was "caused by HPV [human papillomavirus], which actually comes about from cunnilingus."

Diandra Douglas -- whose epic divorce from Michael in 2000 was one of the richest marital settlements in history -- tells TMZ she does NOT have HPV ... period.

Guess the ball is in your court now, CZJ.

Joe Simpson I Still Love Nick Lachey ... Even If He Trashed Me

Published | Updated

Joe Simpson's quite a forgiving guy ... 'cause Jessica's dad tells TMZ he would still have a beer with Nick Lachey ... even after his daughter's ex-hubby TRASHED him on national television.

It was just last month that Nick went on "Watch What Happens Live" and told Andy Cohen ... the best part of divorcing Jessica was not having to play grab ass under the table w/ Joe at family events.

But Joe -- who hit up Greystone Manor with 3 pretty hot chicks this weekend -- told us he still "loves" Nick after the diss ... and praised him for being a good husband to his daughter.

Sidenote -- at one point in the video, Joe's hot friend in the pink dress addresses the gay rumors ... even though nobody really asked her. So, check that out.

Nic Cage's Son DIVORCE FINAL She Keeps Wedding Ring

Published | Updated

Nicolas Cage's son Weston and his wife Nikki Williams are officially divorced, TMZ has learned -- but the crazy part ... she gets to keep her wedding ring, despite promising to PAWN IT OFF.

As we reported, 22-year-old Weston filed for divorce back in 2011 -- not really shocking, considering they were both arrested for domestic violence against each other after they tied the knot earlier that year ... following a two-week engagement.

The divorce is now final -- but according to the order, obtained by TMZ, 24-year-old Nikki gets to keep her wedding ring ... along with the rights to her entire song catalog, including a track called "Pawn My Wedding Ring."

The song was written last year, after Weston filed for divorce, and it contains the lyrics -- "It started perfect, you were a different person / But you changed on me after the honeymoon was done."

It continues ... "And because it's not worth anything / I'm about to pawn my wedding ring / Get rid of everything that was right or wrong." See? It's right there in black and white.

Meanwhile, Weston gets to keep his musical equipment, bank account, and songs ... including fluffy uplifting hits like "Souless Eyes," "Vampire Sentiment," and "Heathen Sanctuary."

Young love.

Toni Braxton's Sister I'm Finally Divorcing My Cheating Husband

Published | Updated

"Braxton Family Values" star Trina Braxton can't un-break her marriage ... the reality star finally pulled the trigger on her divorce from philandering husband Grabriel Adrian-Solis, TMZ has learned.

Toni Braxton's sister filed divorce docs in Georgia court claiming her marriage was irretrievably broken. Trina and Gabriel tied the knot in August 2003, separated in March 2013, and are currently living in separate pads.

It's not exactly a shock -- the duo suffered from a slew of marital problems, including infidelity. Gabriel has admitted to cheating on Trina with numerous women in the past and Trina admitted to cheating on Gabriel -- all of which played out on their reality TV show.

As for the nuts and bolts of it all ... Trina says she'll try to work out a financial agreement with her estranged husband to divvy up their assets (and debts) as calmly as possible. She's asking for a total divorce, claiming there's no hope for reconciliation.

In times like these, at least she's got Toni ...

Ashton to Demi Keep Your Trap Shut About My Biz ... or Else

Published | Updated

Ashton Kutcher is no fool ... he's willing to give his forever-estranged wife Demi Moore all of the financial records of the technology business he started AFTER they split ... but only if she signs a confidentiality agreement.

As TMZ first reported ... the former couple's divorce is being bogged down by various financial demands Demi is making. Demi -- who's worth a lot more than Ashton -- wants, among other things, a piece of A-Grade Investments, a company Ashton founded with mogul Ron Burkle.

Sources connected with the couple tell TMZ ... Ashton is scoffing at Demi's claim, since he founded the company -- which invests in tech start-ups -- AFTER he split with her.

But we've learned Ashton's willing to let Demi and her lawyers look at the financial records of A-Grade, but only if she signs a confidentiality agreement. She signed it, and it's now been filed with the court.

Short story -- the money fight continues.

Steve Nash L.A. Is a TERRIBLE Place to Raise Kids

Published | Updated

5:20 PM -- Both sides have rested their case, which is now in the hands of the judge. We're told a ruling could take up to 60 days.

4:30 PM -- Nash
just finished his turn on the stand ... saying his ex-wife has been making it EXTREMELY difficult to see his kids in Phoenix ... so it makes NO SENSE that she wants to move to L.A. so they can see him more often.

Nash said he sees the kids in Arizona at LEAST as much as would in L.A. ... and maintained that her only motivation for moving is so California courts can nail him for child support -- which he says would really only support her lavish taste.

“A major reason we divorced was her incessant spending, social climbing, materialism,” he said.

Nash testified about several occasions when Alejandra made it difficult for him to see 8-year-old twin girls Lola and Bella, and 2-year-old son Matteo Joel … including a Christmas homestand, when Nash wanted his girlfriend to escort the kids on a flight to L.A.

“She had none of that,” Nash said.

Nash said he can totally afford child support ... he just doesn't want it to ruin his kids: “I don’t want my high-privileged lifestyle ... to be an artificial environment.”

Steve Nash -- who plays for the LOS ANGELES Lakers -- just trashed L.A. in open court ... claiming the City of Angels is NO PLACE to raise a family.

Nash slammed L.A. on the stand in his legal war with ex-wife Alejandra ... saying point blank, "I don't want my kids to grow up in L.A."

Nash said he would consider raising his kids in San Diego ... but only because "it's a different lifestyle."

Of course, Alejandra doesn't believe that -- she thinks Steve's trying to block her from moving the kids to L.A. because the Arizona courts aren't making him pay a penny in child support and he's afraid a California judge would nail him.

Steve Nash I'm NOT Trying to Duck Child Support

Published | Updated

Steve Nash is NOT trying to weasel out of paying child support to his ex-wife ... this according to Nash's attorney who tells TMZ accusations to the contrary are "absolute nonsense."

Nash and his lawyer Robert Schwartz just strolled back into a Maricopa County courtroom in AZ ... where they're set to do battle with Steve's ex-wife Alejandra for the 2nd day in their nasty child support war.

As we previously reported, Alejandra believes the Lakers star is trying to block her from moving with their 3 kids from PHX to L.A. because Steve doesn't want to pay child support. As we reported, Nash is not paying child support in Arizona, but if his wife and kids move to California a judge would likely make a significant dent in Nash's wallet.

On his way into court, Steve didn't want to talk about the allegation -- but his lawyer did ... saying, "That is absolute nonsense and it's not accurate at all."

Alejandra arrived to court soon after.

We're told the judge is expected to deliver a ruling in the case by the end of the day.

Stay tuned ...
