Kanye West and Nick Cannon have come to a mutual understanding after going at each other on social media over Kim Kardashian West -- and the consensus is this ... R.E.S.P.E.C.T.

Sources tell us that Kanye and Nick squashed their beef this weekend after Nick responded to Ye on Instagram, basically telling him to not try and censor what he can or can't say in interviews. We're told they swapped numbers in their IG DMs ... and eventually, both of them got on the horn to hash things out in a fairly long convo.

They addressed why each of them felt disrespected -- clearly, Kanye was upset by what Nick had said to VladTV regarding Kim's body ... and Nick was pissed that Kanye was coming at him for being candid and truthful.

Long story short, we're told they both agreed to be mindful of one another going forward, and to continue their friendship.

There might even be a potential appearance that comes out of all this too. Sources say Nick and Kanye discussed Ye coming back onto 'Wild 'N Out.'

Paul Pierce says the Celtics-Lakers rivalry is officially back on ... with Kyrie Irving playing the Bird/Pierce role -- and LeBron James playing the Magic/Kobe role!!

We got Paul out at LAX this week and, as one of the key players in the historic NBA clash -- he declared to TMZ Sports the two teams can finally have a real tiff again now that Bron's in L.A.

"It's on. It's on," the Celtics legend tells us. "The rivalry is back. For sure. It's official."

Pierce tells us LeBron and Kyrie will fill the leader-of-the-team roles well ... and he seems stoked to see it this season.

By the way ... if you were wondering if Pierce has any inkling to come back to the NBA and be a part of that rivalry one last time -- he says no chance.

Cardi B has just flown thousands of miles and landed in Milan where a possible re-match with her mortal enemy, Nicki Minaj, could happen ... TMZ has learned.

Cardi showed up in Milan for Fashion Week. Nicki arrived 3 days ago.

Cardi and her team have not announced her arrival, although she certainly dropped hints by posting a pic of a gift basket that has Italy written all over it.

It's certainly interesting ... everyone knows what happened earlier this month at the Harper's Bazaar party during New York Fashion Week, where Cardi tried to attack Nicki and threw a shoe at her. Cardi's the one who ended up injured with a giant lump on her head as she hobbled out of the party on one shoe.

It's unclear if Nicki knew Cardi would show.

We're told so far Cardi and Nicki have not interacted, but we're on the lookout.

Tiffany Haddish may have nodded her head in agreement Friday as Kevin Hart railed on Katt Williams, but she says that doesn't mean she's co-signing on Kevin's message.

We got Tiffany Friday as she arrived at LAX, and posed the old adage, "Living well is the best revenge." The point -- rather than firing back at Katt for his pretty disgraceful attack, just live your life to the fullest.

Tiffany restates her party line -- that there's no beef.

As you probably know, Tiffany sat next to Kevin Hart on The Breakfast Club and seemed to nod in agreement as Kevin tore Katt apart, saying it was rank jealously that triggered Katt's hateful comments.

Conor McGregor needs to cut out the bad language ... because KIDS ARE WATCHING -- so says Khabib Nurmagomedov.

The UFC star tells TMZ Sports he got fed up with all the curse words Conor was dropping at their nasty press conference on Thursday ... and says they need to be better role models!

"This is what I don't like when too much people cursing," Khabib said ... "Too many young guys like follow us ... I don't want to be a bad example for young generation people."

Conor dropped more bad words than a "Def Comedy Jam" act -- calling Khabib every dirty word in the book ... from "little rat" to "fanboy bitch" and "backwards c*nt."

Khabib says he refuses to engage in expletive warfare -- "I wanna be good [role] model."

As for whether Conor got under his skin at the presser, Khabib scoffed ... saying he's confident he'll "smash" McGregor when they face off at UFC 229 on Oct. 6.

John Salley has a clear side in the Kanye West vs. Nick Cannon feud ... telling TMZ Sports West was 100% within his rights to send shots at Cannon for talking about Kim Kardashian West.

Ye fired off on Nick Thursday ... saying NC has no right mentioning Kim's name in interviews, and talking about her body ... even though Nick and Kim dated back in the day.

Cannon fired back, saying he's NEVER disrespected Kim but has answered questions about her honestly, and will continue to do so.

We got Salley leaving Catch in L.A. and asked him which side of the fence he falls on ... and he said it all goes back to a rule he learned during his NBA playing career.

"Everything was open except wives and fiancees."

Salley goes on to say Kanye is "kinda right" to be pissed at Nick Cannon, and that he thinks West's warning shot is enough that no one will talk about Kim Kardashian in a sexually objectifying way again.

Kevin Hart is riding hard for Tiffany Haddish ... telling Katt Williams to stop attacking her just because he blew his shot at superstardom on drugs.

Kevin lashed out at Katt Friday morning on "The Breakfast Club," telling him, "You had the shot! You were set up to be the star. You didn't show up to work! You f**ked off promo shoots!"

Tiffany was with Kevin when he went off. You'll recall, a week ago Katt blasted Tiffany for leapfrogging over dozens of other comedians who he feels were more deserving of Hollywood fame. But, Kevin says it's time for Katt to quit bitching and take responsibility.

He called him out directly, saying, "Have you ever used your platform to f**king bring the people that were under you up? You haven't! So, because you haven't, don't s**t on those that now are!!"

As for why Kevin thinks Katt hasn't become a huge movie star -- "He chose drugs" and that scared off the studios.

Nick Cannon just fired back at Kanye West, who warned him to keep Kim Kardashian's name out of his mouth -- and his message to Ye is simple ... chill, bro.

The 'Wild 'n Out' host says he's got love and respect for Kanye, but also thinks the dude must be trippin' to think he can control what Nick says. He feels strongly he's never disrespected Kanye and Kim's marriage, but adds ... if he's asked a question about Kim he'll answer it honestly.

As we reported ... Kanye took shots at Nick, Drake and Tyson Beckford for talking about Kim -- sexually or otherwise. He called Nick out for discussing Kim's body in a recent interview with VladTV ... and accused Drake of fueling the rumor he slept with Kim.

Kanye West is unloading on Drake and Nick Cannon for publicly talking, rapping or even suggesting anything about Kim Kardashian.

Kim's husband stood up for her with a series of videos where he shares a bunch of "things that were not sitting right with my spirit." The first of which being Nick talking about Kim's body in a recent VladTV interview. Nick and Kim dated back in their mid-20s, and Nick excitedly reminisced about her body, saying ... "That white girl got ass!!"

Kanye's demanding Nick show some respect for him in the future if someone asks him any questions about Kim.

As for Drake ... Kanye's in HIS feelings about "In My Feelings." Remember, there's a rumor the lyric about "Kiki" is a reference to Kim -- that's her family nickname, and everyone knows it from their show. Ye says Drake should've publicly stated the Kiki in his song is NOT Kim.

As Kanye puts it ... he wouldn't rap about a girl named RiRi.

He's also got beef with an unreleased Drake and Future song that featured lyrics saying, "I got 20 motherf**king Kylie’s ... I got 20 damn Kendalls." In a nutshell, Kanye says ... "So, period is like don't speak on nobody from my family, nothing that can be even mentioned on my wife, period!"

Machine Gun Kelly says he apologized to Eminem's camp years ago for saying Em's daughter is hot, but now he's got no time for the "old man" -- oh, and he also insists he banged Halsey. Sorry, G-Eazy.

MGK went on "The Breakfast Club" Thursday and talked about calling Em's manager, Paul Rosenberg, in 2012 to say sorry for tweeting about Em's then-teenage daughter. He says he thought the issue was squashed, but adds there are still people at Interscope -- his and Em's distributor -- who pick sides ... even the ones assigned to promote his music.

Fast forward to 2018 and we get "Kamikaze," "Rap Devil" and then "Killshot." MGK doubles down on his claim Eminem is old and irrelevant in hip-hop today. As for a possible sit-down between the two -- Kelly had only 2 words ... one of them starts with 'F.'

He also briefly addresses the fight he and his security got into in Atlanta with actor Gabriel "G-Rod" Rodriguez. Kelly refused to elaborate on why his fingers are bandaged.

Kelly eventually talks Halsey and says he "absolutely" hooked up with her after she split with G-Eazy earlier this year. She eventually got back together with G, but not before MGK fired off a diss track at her man ... and received one in return.

He's still got another month on the bench, but fighters are already trying to book a fight with Jon Jones -- starting with UFC star Alexander Gustafsson!

Some history ... Gustafsson had a title shot with Jones back in 2013 at UFC 165 -- and the fight was AWESOME!!!

AG lost in a unanimous decision -- but Jones was sent to the hospital for injuries after the fight and later called it the toughest fight of his career.

Both guys got a Fight of the Night bonus for the spectacular brawl.

Now, with Jones expected to be reinstated to fight again as early as October -- Alexander is making his pitch for a rematch!

"Congratulations [Jon Jones]," the #1 ranked lightweight contender wrote on social media ... "I'm really glad u are back!"

"[Daniel Cormier] is aiming for [Brock Lesnar] ... so let’s give the fans another legendary fight for the belt."

Gustafsson made sure to tag the UFC and Dana White.

As we previously reported, Jones is currently serving a suspension after testing positive for PEDs surrounding the Cormier fight at UFC 214.

Samantha Ronson probably wishes Eminem turned his metaphorical gun on himself and not at Machine Gun Kelly ... 'cause she's tearing the rapper to pieces for "Killshot" and thinks the diss track is absolute trash!!!

We got the DJ at LAX, and she wasted no time ripping Eminem a new one, saying his song is misogynistic, homophobic, lazy and something a 4-year-old would write. There was more, and you gotta see just how nuclear she went on Em.

The DJ says Marshall is a "f***ing old man" who has no business dragging Rihanna's name through the mud ... and the 2 rappers should take their feud and ugly hairstyles to the groomers.

What's got Sam so heated? Em opens "Killshot" with the line, "Rihanna just hit me on a text. Last night I left hickeys on her neck."

The line seems oddly out of place. You could ask, what the hell does RiRi have to do with MGK? Sam sees at as straight-up misogyny.

Machine Gun Kelly dodged danger during his concert in North Carolina when a fan got in his face -- but we're calling BS.

MGK was in Greensboro Tuesday night for his tour with Fall Out Boy, and at one point he got down to crowd level and stopped in front of this huge dude who started losing his s*** ... but stopped short of touching Kelly. The altercation looked totally staged.

You see the guy screaming at Kelly, and he even pretends to swing at his junk. Kelly never flinches, and his security on the ground with him doesn't seem too concerned.

Katt Williams had some explaining to do about Tiffany Haddish and a gun that was supposedly pulled on him and, while he finally cleared the air ... it wasn't without difficulty.

We got the comedian Monday night strolling the streets of L.A. after the Emmys -- with his own in hand -- and asked him to elaborate on Atlanta radio host Wanda Smith's husband allegedly pointing a gun at his face and chasing him to a supermarket across the street.

Katt plays more than coy here ... he's just downright speaking in riddles with us. But, he does make one thing clear -- the sitch would've been far more dire if a gun was involved.

Our camera guy also asks about the apparent hatchet burying that happened when he saw Tiffany at the award show. She posted photos of him kneeling before her in what looked like pure contrition.

We got Tiffany at LAX Tuesday morning who echoed Katt's stance here ... no beef to see here. In fact, she's even open to working with the comedian in the future.

Katt does apologize though, saying he's sorry for bringing her up in a disparaging way ... and giving a shout-out to another comedian who apparently set him straight.

John McCain's wife gracefully shut down Senator Lindsey Graham's assertion McCain would have grown to like Donald Trump if the two had spent more time together.

We caught up with Cindy McCain Monday at Reagan National Airport ... and she politely disagreed with Graham that her husband and the Prez could have mended fences.

Graham raised eyebrows in D.C. when he told the AP, "I regret that (McCain) didn't have more time with President Trump. Who knows what would have happened over time?"

Lindsey felt if John was able to forgive his captors in the Vietnam War, he could patch things up with Trump.

Cindy's not buying it. She says John is at peace with his actions.

You'll recall ... McCain took a parting shot at Trump before he died, and made clear the President was not welcome at his funeral.

Katt Williams didn't want any real smoke with Tiffany Haddish after dissing her badly on a radio show last week ... 'cause he was kneeling for the comedy queen at the Emmys.

Tiffany posted a series of photos Monday at the award show which show Katt taking a knee before her in deference ... and then the two of them posing together happily.

It appears the two comedians are good now after Katt questioned Tiffany's comedy chops this past Friday. You'll recall ... he said Tiffany hadn't proven herself as a touring comedian ... and insinuated that she only blew up after saying she wanted to sleep with Brad Pitt. Harsh stuff, but that all seems to be water under a bridge now.

Tiffany said she couldn't wait to see Katt at the Emmys, where they each picked up their respective awards. In a tweet, she elaborated by saying she just "to shower (him) with REAL Love cause you need it, and I Love you."
