Kanye West Pap Doesn't Want Jury to Hear I Also Pissed Off Britney!

Published | Updated

Kanye West has no right to tell a jury the photog who's suing him is the very same guy who Britney Spears famously attacked with an umbrella ... at least that's what the photog is banking on.

Daniel Ramos is suing Kanye for the 2013 LAX attack. Kanye pled no contest to misdemeanor battery, but now Ramos is suing him.

Kanye wants to prove to the jury Ramos is a bad guy ... not only because of the 2007 umbrella incident, but also because he was so gross he tried selling the umbrella and the truck she struck.

But Ramos has filed legal docs asking the judge to exclude evidence of his Britney hijinks, saying it has nothing to do with the LAX attack and it would unfairly turn the jury against him.

Ramos also wants the judge to exclude evidence that he actually made a pretty penny off the video he shot as Kanye went after him.

It's kinda like having your cake ...

Rolls-Royce vs. Royce Rizzy High End Car Company Sues ... That's Our Name!!

Published | Updated

In the hip-hop world, you don't steal another MC's name ... even if MC stands for motor car -- which is exactly what Rolls-Royce claims a rapper named Rolls Royce Rizzy has done.

According to the lawsuit -- obtained by TMZ -- the legendary car company says Rizzy advertises and sells "Team Rolls Royce" shirts on his website ... and they want him to stop ASAP.

Rolls-Royce claims they've sent R.R.R. multiple cease and desist letters to no avail ... and since he's continued to wear the shirts in pics on social media they've been forced to file suit.

Rizzy tells us he dropped the "Rolls" from his name at least a year and a half ago and he's no longer selling the shirts ... just wearing it. He also claims he's never gotten a letter from Rolls.

Jermaine Dupri -- the head of Rizzy's label -- tells us he personally made sure the name change happened before putting him out as an artist ... adding,"I know how business works."

Stephen Collins DIVORCE SETTLED Confession Tape Under Lock and Key

Published | Updated

We've now obtained the divorce settlement, and it provides every copy of the Collins' audio in which he confesses to child molestation must be destroyed, with the exception of the original -- which is now in Grant's possession. Grant must deliver the tape to Collins' lawyer, Shawn Holley, who will keep it under lock and key for 10 years and only release it if there's a subpoena.

As for the rest of the settlement, it's pretty much a 50/50 split. As we previously reported the pot is worth around $14 million.

Stephen Collins and Faye Grant have settled one of the nastiest celebrity divorces in memory ... TMZ has learned.

Collins, Grant and their lawyers spent the last 4 days trying to hammer out the settlement, to avoid what was certain to be an ugly, public trial set for February 9th.

Both Collins and Grant were ready to address the audiotape in which Collins confesses to molesting and/or exposing himself to 3 young girls. Grant threatened to raise the issue because she didn't want her settlement compromised in case he got sued, and he says the tape has made him unemployable and therefore he should be socked with a big spousal support tab.

But they worked it out, down to who gets what furniture.

Tyga Sued By Former Manager He Was NOTHING Before Us!

Published | Updated

Tyga's former manager says the rapper's an ingrate and now there's only one way to show his appreciation ... fork over several million dollars as a "thank you."

Back in the day ... Tyga hired C&J Management, and the company claims it did more than a good job, "turning him from a relative nobody to a world known superstar." C&J introduced Tyga to Cash Money, so they may have a point.

But sometimes people and Tygas move on ... and C&J claims the rapper unceremoniously and illegally fired them in 2013 and hired a brand spankin' new manager.

So C&J now wants $4 million and all will be well.

We reached out to a rep for Tyga. So far, no word back.

"12 Years a Slave" may have shamelessly ripped off "Desperate Housewives" ... if you believe a new lawsuit.

Famed composer Hans Zimmer is the culprit ... so claims the guy who composed the song for that Housewives show.

Richard Friedman claims in 2004 he composed "To Our Fallen," which appeared on the ABC show. He says in his lawsuit his song was enhanced in Zimmer's studio. Friedman claims it's no coincidence that in 2013 Zimmer's signature song in "12 Years" was eerily similar to his tune.

The allegation is simple ... Zimmer and company had access to his song and ripped him off.

Friedman is suing Zimmer, Fox, Sony and Brad Pitt's Plan B Entertainment ... and he wants a piece of the pie.

We reached out to Zimmer's people ... so far no comment.

The Beastie Boys We're Not Wanted Anymore So Someone Needs to Pay Our Lawyers

Published | Updated

The Beastie Boys say they can't find work because of MCA's death ... and they're so strapped for cash they can't even fight in court without someone covering the bill.

Here's the dilemma ... The Boys have beef with Monster Energy, which jacked some of their songs for an ad campaign. The guys actually won their case and scored a $1.7 million judgment. But a lot of that was eaten away by their lawyers, and they want Monster to foot that bill.

The surviving members say -- since Adam "MCA" Yauch died from cancer in 2012 -- no one wants them anymore so every dollar counts. And they're on the hook to their lawyers for a whopping $2.4 MILLION in lawyers' fees.

A judge hasn't decided yet, but typically the side that wins in cases like this gets at least some of their lawyers' fees back.

Lindsay Lohan Fails Community Service Again Jail on the Table

Published | Updated

Lindsay Lohan will use a mosquito defense when her lawyer goes to court next week to announce her client has failed A SECOND TIME to complete her community service ... and this could land her in jail, TMZ has learned.

Lindsay is due in court Wednesday to prove she completed her community service in connection with her 2012 reckless driving case ... where she slammed into an 18-wheeler on PCH.

She was required to perform 240 hours of community service, but on November 6, 2014 -- when she was required to show proof of completion -- her lawyer, Shawn Holley, told hizzoner LiLo had completed nearly HALF the hours.

So the judge set a second date for Lindsay to show proof of completion -- next Wednesday. But TMZ has learned Lindsay isn't even close to finishing.

Her excuse ... the community service center in London was closed for 2 weeks during the holidays and she ended up in the hospital with a mosquito virus. Here's the problem ... she got the virus while vacationing in Bora Bora, instead of putting in her time.

And there's a bigger problem. She screws up a lot and has lots of excuses. Here's a partial list:

-- 2009 ... Lindsay failed to complete her alcohol ed program
-- 2010 ... Bench warrant issued after Lindsay was a no show, claiming she was in Cannes and her passport was stolen
-- 2010 ... Bench warrant issued after her SCRAM bracelet went off at the MTV Music Awards after party
-- 2010 ... Lindsay failed to complete her alcohol ed program
-- 2010 ... Lindsay allegedly beats up a woman at Betty Ford
-- 2010 ... Probation revoked after cocaine found in her system
-- 2013 ... Late to court after missing a flight

Will the mosquito defense fly? The prosecutor hasn't said, but he could ask for jail.

Beyonce Scares the Crap Out of Etsy Don't Screw with My Name!

Published | Updated

Beyonce threatened a company that came perilously close to using her name to hawk mugs ... and guess what you can't buy anymore?

Etsy -- a craft website that's a cross between eBay and Pinterest -- was hawking Feyonce mugs. They became a thing ... when someone got engaged lots of people went to the website and bought the happy couple mugs to celebrate the occasion.

The singer felt the pun was more than coincidental -- right down to the accent on the last "e" -- so her lawyers fired off a letter to the company crying foul ... and then threatening them.

Etsy got the message and took the items off the artist's online shop. But all is not well. Etsy still has other feyonce items on its site, including clothing and glassware. And these items are selling big.

Warning: Bey don't play.

MMA Star Dave Herman On Taser Arrest: 'If I Was Black I'd Be Dead'

Published | Updated

Former UFC fighter Dave Herman tells TMZ Sports he's lucky to be alive after a violent encounter with police this weekend ... and says if he was black, he'd "probably be dead."

The video was insane -- showing cops using a taser on the 30-year-old heavyweight MMA expert during a stop in Indiana. Herman gets emotional when he tells us how the incident has affected his family.

The DeKalb County Sheriff's Dept. has previously said Herman was speeding and refused to pull over. They also say Herman was aggressive during the stop. Herman says BS.

Herman also says he's POSITIVE he never kicked an officer during the incident -- though he claims an officer put a knee in his back (and joked that his back may have injured the cop's knee).

We've reached out to the DeKalb County Sheriff's Dept. for comment -- so far, no word back.

Dan Bilzerian He's a Porn Star-Tossing God Who Hustled Hustler

Published | Updated

Larry Flynt and company may tell their models to spread 'em wide, but they don't push 'em off roofs ... which is why they're going after Dan Bilzerian on the one hand and calling him a God on the other.

Flynt's publishing company has filed legal docs asking a judge to protect them if a jury decides they're responsible for a porn star's injuries suffered during a Hustler photo shoot.

Flynt's company is being sued by a porn star who Dan Bilzerian tossed off his roof into the pool, but she says her leg hit the edge and she broke her foot.

Hustler's legal docs are hilarious ... claiming they're not responsible because the roof toss was "an act of God" ... which gives Bilzerian lots of credit.

But in case the jury decides otherwise, Flynt's company wants the judge to force Bilzerian to foot the bill.

Yes, we meant to say that.

Hope Solo Husband Driving U.S. Team Van ... During DUI Arrest [Update]

Published | Updated

12:20 PM PT -- Multiple law enforcement sources tell us Stevens' blood alcohol level was around 4 TIMES the legal limit ... which would put it somewhere in the neighborhood of .32.

Hope Solo's husband Jerramy Stevens was driving a U.S. Soccer team van at the time of his DUI arrest Monday morning ... and we're told it was the main reason Hope was suspended from the team.

TMZ Sports broke the story ... Stevens -- a former NFL tight end -- was pulled over in front of a Manhattan Beach hotel around 1:49 AM while Hope was in the vehicle ... and both appeared to be hammered.

As we first reported, Hope was belligerent with the arresting officers -- and now we've learned cops went out of their way to try to keep Hope out of cuffs ... despite the fact she was being a "major pain."

We're told cops asked hotel staffers to take Hope inside the hotel and keep her away from the situation while they arrested her husband in order to keep her from doing something stupid.

The U.S. National Soccer Team later suspended Hope for 30 days -- and we're told soccer officials were especially upset that Hope allowed her husband to drive the team van ... potentially leaving the team liable had there been an accident.

We reached out to team officials for comment -- so far, no word back.

Amanda Bynes Wins DUI Battle But Could Lose the War

Published | Updated

Good news/bad news for Amanda Bynes -- she won't be prosecuted for DUI ... but the arrest could still get her thrown in jail.

We've learned the L.A. City Attorney has decided not to prosecute Bynes for her September 2014 DUI bust ... for driving under the influence of Adderall.

We're told the City Attorney doesn't think he can sell the case to a jury because she had a relatively low level of the drug in her bloodstream.

Now the bad news. The City Attorney has referred the matter to the D.A., because driving with ANY Adderall in her system could constitute a probation violation. You'll recall ... the D.A. scored a DUI conviction against Bynes back in 2012 for driving under the influence.

The D.A. could try to revoke her probation, and she could be thrown in jail as a result. But here's the reality ... Amanda has serious mental health issues, and it's unlikely the D.A. will go after her if it gets in the way of her treatment.

Jennifer Lopez Casper's Dog Escapes ... Attacks Neighbor

Published | Updated

Casper Smart's dog escaped from Jennifer Lopez's house and bit one of her neighbors ... leaving the woman with a broken hand.

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ ... Smart's boxer, named Bear was at JLo's home outside Los Angeles back in December ... when he got loose and clamped down on the neighbor's hand and arm.

Since the attack, Bear has been quarantined at Casper's nearby Woodland Hills home. Authorities are still trying to determine if the dog poses a danger to others.

We're told both of Casper's boxers still spend a lot of time at JLo's house ... since her kids love the dogs. It's unclear if JLo or Casper were at the house when the attack happened, but Animal Control gave Casper a citation for an unleashed dog ... since he's the owner.

We've reached out to Casper, but haven't heard back yet.

Joanna Krupa plans to clean out Brandi Glanville ... finally making good on her threat to sue over months of trash talk about her baby maker.

According to legal docs ... Krupa claims she experienced severe emotional distress when Glanville went on "Watch What Happens Live" ... and told the world JK has a stinky beaver. Now Krupa's slapped her ass with a defamation suit.

Glanville reiterated the scentiment multiple times ... and Krupa went ballistic about it last month.

If Joanna wins the suit -- filed by her attorney Ray Rafool -- she'll finally force Brandi to pay up ... but the move isn't without risk. Krupa's lady parts will now be up for discussion in open court.

The witness list should be ... interesting?

Hope Solo SUSPENDED BY U.S. SOCCER After 'Belligerent' Behavior During Hubby's DUI

Published | Updated

Hope Solo has been suspended by the U.S. Women's soccer team ... just days after she got into it with police while her husband was being arrested for DUI.

TMZ Sports broke the story ... Solo and ex-NFL player Jerramy Stevens were "acting belligerent" when Stevens was stopped by cops in Manhattan Beach, CA early Monday morning ... with law enforcement sources telling us both Stevens and Solo were "a major pain."

Now, U.S Soccer has issued a statement saying ... "During our current national team camp, Hope made a poor decision that has resulted in a negative impact on U.S. Soccer and her teammates. We feel at this time it is best for her to step away from the team."

Hope addressed the suspension on her Facebook page ... writing, "I accept and respect the Federation's decision, and more importantly, I apologize for disappointing my teammates, coaches and the Federation who have always supported me."

She added, "I think it's best for me to take a break, decompress from the stress of the last several months, and come back mentally and physically ready to positively contribute to the team."

Robin Thicke Puts Paula Patton On Hot Seat ... In 'Blurred Lines' Lawsuit

Published | Updated

Paula Patton could have Robin Thicke by the short hairs ... again -- she's being called to testify in the court battle over whether he ripped off "Blurred Lines" from Marvin Gaye.

According to court docs ... Robin's estranged wife is listed as a witness for the case which still looks like it's heading to trial. Marvin Gaye III and Robin have been warring over 'Blurred' and a handful of other Thicke tunes.

Paula is expected to testify about the 2011 song, "Love After War" ... which Gaye thinks copies Marvin's "After the Dance." Paula appeared in the 'Love' music video, and we're told she co-wrote it with Robin.

Going through a very public, painful, drawn out break-up with your ex -- and then calling her to testify on your behalf in a major legal battle ... seems like a recipe for disaster.

However, as TMZ first reported ... Robin actually went to a holiday party at Paula's house -- so maybe the dust has settled. We'll see, when and if she takes the oath.

One thing's for sure ... the video was freakin' hot!
