Chris Brown Battle Over Royalty's Birth Certificate

Published | Updated

Chris Brown is real upset he's not getting credit where it matters ... on his daughter's birth certificate.

Sources connected to Brown tell us, he found out recently the "father" on baby Royalty's birth certificate is listed as Brazil Riesling, aka King Ba.

TMZ broke the story, 8 months after Royalty was born, DNA tests revealed Chris was the papa.

He's trying to establish a relationship with his daughter -- even trying to get baby mama Nia Guzman to move to L.A. -- but his efforts have been thwarted by Ba, who still considers himself the dad. Ba, who is still with Nia, has been taunting Chris with pics of himself and the baby.

Chris now has his lawyer in the act, negotiating with Nia and Ba to change the birth certificate to list him as the biological father. If push comes to shove, it will end up before a judge.

'Iron Man' One Good Suit Deserves Another

Published | Updated

Robert Downey, Jr.'s "Iron Man" suit was a shameless copy, kind of like a designer ripping off a Vera Wang wedding dress ... so claim 2 guys who now say Marvel and Disney jacked their suit.

Artists Ben and Ray Lai claim in a new lawsuit they came up with a design in 2001 depicting a "futuristic, armored, and weaponized" body suit and featured it in their "Radix" comic book.

The following year they say Marvel hired them to work on various comics.

The Lai's point out ... the original "Iron Man" suits from the comics -- created in 1963 -- were simple spandex that had minimal armor. But fast forward to 2008, when the first "Iron Man" movie was released ... they say Robert Downey. Jr.'s suit was a dead ringer for theirs.

And they say to add insult to injury, Marvel used almost the exact same pose from their book for the "Iron Man" 2 and 3 posters.

They're suing Marvel, Disney and others ... and they want all profits attributable to their design.

M-Rod, said she didn't know if the story is legit, but if it is they have reason to be pissed off, because credits are the key to getting gigs. But Michelle cautioned, some people claiming to co-stunt aren't legit.

The exact amount is sealed under terms of the settlement. As for why Chris paid such a low number -- best guess is Ausbon lost all bargaining power when he arguably blackmailed Chris.
