Ariane Grande stunned the Coachella crowd on the first night of weekend #2 by taking the stage during Kygo's set ... and debuting her brand new single.

Grande's live performance Friday night of "No Tears Left to Cry" came just hours after she released the single ... her first new track since last year's Manchester bombing. She also sang Marvin Gaye's "Sexual Healing" with Kygo during her surprise appearance.

It was her second live performance of the year -- she sang at the March for Our Lives rally in March as well.

The death of Avicii was weighing heavily on everyone's minds at Coachella at the start of the second weekend, but his memory lived on thanks to dedications from several musicians ... like Kygo.

The Norwegian DJ closed his set on the main stage Friday night with a tribute to the world-famous DJ, saying ... "Avicii was my biggest musical inspiration and he was the reason I started making electronic music so I don’t think I would’ve been on this stage tonight if it wasn’t for him. I know he’s inspired millions of other producers out there."

He then played Avicii's 2017 track, "Without You" ... which he said is his favorite.

As we reported ... Avicii was found dead in the Middle Eastern country of Oman. Details surrounding his death are still unclear, but he was smiling with fans days before his death.

Former Destiny's Child singer Farrah Franklin didn't join Beyonce on stage at Coachella, but she's making it clear -- she's fully on board for the next reunion ... if the queen will have her.

Farrah was a member of DC for about 6 months in 2000 -- she was on the "Say My Name" remix -- and she watched Beyonce, Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams onstage last weekend. Zero bitterness, though ... she says she was thrilled like everyone else.

She says she wasn't invited to be part of the Coachella gig -- and didn't really expect to be -- but she sounds keen on Bey organizing a more complete reunion in the future.

Cardi B wasn't just glowing from her pregnancy during her Coachella performance Sunday ... she was also glowing thanks to a hefty, super expensive chain around her neck.

Celebrity jeweler Elliot Eliantte tells us Cardi put the idea of doing a Lola Bunny Chain in his ear about two months ago, but waited until 5 days before her main stage Coachella debut to actually put in the order.

Eliantte had to work overtime to get it done since the chain and pendant are littered with 110 carats of diamonds valued between $350k and $400k.

The Weeknd was seen partying with a ton of hot chicks at Coachella ... but he isn't locked down by a single one.

Abel -- who headlined the festival on Friday -- was spotted with Chantel Jeffries, hanging out with Kendall Jenner and even being friendly with his ex, Bella Hadid. However, sources close to the singer tell us he's simply enjoying the single life ... and isn't serious with anyone.

Our sources say Bella was in the crowd for Friday's show and the two exchanged hellos, but any reports saying they swapped spit are totally untrue.

We're told after his performance Friday, Abel spent most of the weekend partying with his friends, family and the XO Crew.

O.T. Genasis says he had no clue Beyonce chose one of his songs to include in her epic Coachella performance -- and his reaction in the moment was priceless.

O.T. was on the road Tuesday when we talked to him about Bey's headlining gig, during which she did a full-on dance to his 2017 single, "Everybody Mad." He was busy in the middle of his own tour, at the time, but says his phone started blowing up.

Y'know you're suddenly tied to Bey when bee emojis start flooding your phone.

O.T. makes a good point here -- Beyonce didn't just throw his song in the background as transition music ... she used it as a crucial part of her performance, meaning she had given it a lot of thought and time in rehearsal. In other words ... Bey clearly digs his work.

She's given "Everybody Mad" sales and online streams a big boost, too.

Beyonce's got YouTube crazy in love thanks to her Coachella performance which set a live stream record.

Bey's Saturday performance drew 458k simultaneous viewers on YouTube ... the most ever for a single Coachella performance since they started streaming the festival 8 years ago.

In all, we're told the opening weekend -- which also included The Weeknd, Eminem and Migos, -- generated 43.1 million live stream views in 232 countries. That makes it the most-viewed live music festival ever on YouTube. That number is also up a whopping 75% over last year, when Lady Gaga stepped in to replace pregnant Bey.

As Beyonce might put it ... you're welcome, YouTube.

Miguel must've been shocked to hear one of his songs belted out at a country bar -- but not too shocked to join the woman singing it for a surprise duet.

The awesome encounter went down in the wee hours of Monday morning at Neil's Lounge in Indio, CA ... just a few miles from Coachella. We're told Miguel and his entourage showed up around 1:30 AM and not long after a woman grabbed the mic and busted out to his 2010 hit single, "Sure Thing."

Keep in mind, the Grammy winner had just finished performing at Coachella a few hours earlier. Still, he was moved enough by the fan to sing some more. Much smaller stage this time.

There's #Beychella and then there's #Baechella, and Leo DiCaprio partook in the latter, because he had his new rumored gf, Camila Morrone, glued to his hip Sunday night at the music festival.

DiCaprio tried to go incognito in the VIP section in a black hoodie ... but it's not hard to spot the guy. Just look for the dude with models, like Camila, clinging to him like Saran wrap. The couple was getting cozy before Eminem's headlining set.

She looked hooked on Leo as he chatted with friends. She also didn't leave his side at Rihanna's party, so things might be getting serious ... for Camila, at least.

Brooklyn Beckham's modeling his game after Leo DiCaprio ... jumping from one model to the next.

Brooklyn was spotted hanging out with model Meredith Mickelson at Coachella ... no doubt enjoying the celeb-packed weekend, while also grabbing frozen yogurt Saturday. They kept it going Sunday night as they headed to the VIP area to watch Eminem.

No shame in Brooklyn's game ... he was seen sucking face with Playboy model Lexi Wood just last week in WeHo. If that didn't make it crystal clear he's moved on from Chloe Moretz, then this weekend's adventures should seal that deal.

Cardi B just did what Beyonce refused to last year -- making her debut at Coachella while SUPER pregnant ... but her ever-growing baby bump didn't slow her down one bit.

Cardi hit the stage Sunday night for Day 3 of the festival, where she performed hit songs from her album "Invasion of Privacy." She was rockin' an all white mesh top and high-waisted pants that kept her baby bump from being too visible.

But still, there was no hiding that bump, and Cardi wasn't slowing down one bit just because she was preggo -- she twerked all over the stage and hyped up the crowd. She even brought out 21 Savage, YG, G-Eazy, Chance the Rapper, and Kehlani for surprise cameos. Safe to say, pregnancy ain't no thang for Cardi when it comes to getting that Coachella $$$$.

The scorching desert couldn't stop these hot celebs from stripping down at showing off their goods on the third day of the Coachella Music and Arts Festival.

Famous faces like Gigi and Bella Hadid, Iggy Azalea, Justin Bieber, Romee Strijd, Aubrey O'Day, Christina Millian, Jen Selter, Ansel Elgort, Kara Del Toro, Casper Smart, Big Boi, Von Miller and TONS more were dancing around the Indio Valley.

Not to the mention performances by Cardi B, The Migos, French Montana, Miguel and headlined by Eminem ensured there was lots to see both on and off the stages.

Coachella is reviving an almost forgotten talent of Leonardo DiCaprio -- being able to mix former and potential current lovers alike in the same backyard ... just ask Rihanna.

Leo was seen hanging out under a cabana at RiRi's FentyxPuma Coachella party Saturday with 20-year-old Argentinian model Camila Morrone clinging to his neck in an affectionate manner. Leo and Camila have been rumored to be an item since at least December.

Rihanna was there, too, obviously ... making quite the entrance in her smokin' hot pink bodysuit. All we can say ... good Lordy ... we see you, girl!

Here's why their mutual company matters -- in case you don't remember, Leo and RiRi used to be a thing, if only for a short time. As we reported ... they were banging back in 2015 after getting hot and heavy at a Playboy Mansion party that January.

Eyewitnesses tell us Rihanna and Leo did, in fact, talk at her shindig -- but it was brief, and appeared to be mere pleasantries. Luckily for Leo, he's handled a very similar situation with his old flame before ... being under the same roof with her and then-GF Nina Agdal.

Victoria's Secret Angel Taylor Hill might have had a little too much fun for Day 2 of Coachella, 'cause she had to be carried out by a group of friends by the end of it.

We got the model Saturday heading into the Empire Polo Club for round two of the festivities, where she was trying to be incognito -- but appeared perked up and fully engaged with our camera guy ... making her love for Beyonce loud and clear.

Then we saw her again as she was leaving with the same group of friends -- only this time she was being held up as her head was hanging and she stumbled to the car.

We're told the guy Bieber punched was NOT arrested. No one reported the choking incident.

Justin Bieber punched a guy in the face and threw him against a wall after the man grabbed a woman by the throat at a Coachella party, and would not release his grip on her ... TMZ has learned.

Sources familiar with the situation tell us Justin and a friend showed up at a party Saturday being attended by Patrick Schwarzenegger. Justin was talking to some people when a guy walked in, spotted a woman ... and went ballistic. Sources at the party say he appeared to be on drugs -- and it looked as if the woman may have been his ex-GF.

We're told the guy suddenly grabbed the woman by the throat and would not release her. Justin and his friend started screaming at the guy to let her go, but he only screamed back "Go f*** yourself" ... maintaining his grip. At that point, Justin hit the man in the face and pushed him against the wall ... allowing the woman to break free.

The Weeknd appears to be swooping in on more of Justin Bieber's leftovers at Coachella -- this time getting cozy with Chantel Jeffries.

Abel was spotted Saturday night at Day 2 of the festival with his arm around Chantel, as they strolled around the closed-off VIP area ... drinks in hand, and all smiles. They were also seen hugging at one point, and she even leaned her head on his shoulder.

We've been down this road before -- as you might recall, Weeknd dated Selena Gomez for the better part of 2017, and they had themselves a PDA-filled Coachella last spring as well.
