Plaxico Gets a Room with a View

Published | Updated

Plaxico Burress' new prison digs are more Four Seasons than Howard Johnson -- we're told the lucky felon just landed the equivalent of a lockdown penthouse.

We're told Plax's new room -- not cell -- at Oneida Correctional Facility is an impressive 12 feet wide by 12 feet long -- as opposed to some places where they're only 10 X 6.

We've also learned the room comes equipped with its own window -- so Plax can have a good look at where he would be if he didn't shoot himself in the leg.

And there's this: Plaxico doesn't have to share the super-sized sleeping quarters with anyone named Bubba -- he gets it all to himself.

Khlomar Gets Tiger from Diet Pill Mogul

Published | Updated

The guy who owns Kim Kardashian's favorite diet pill gave Khloe more than just the secret to a slimmer waist as a wedding present ... he's also the guy who bought her that ridiculous $6,200 amber tiger.

We've learned the deep-pocketed bearer of strange gifts was Vitaquest CEO Keith Frankel -- the guy who owns the diet pill called "QuickTrim." Frankel's connection to the Kardashians comes through Kim -- who uses his products to keep her famously huge backside under control.

Inviting him to the wedding was obviously a good idea -- because who else would have been crazy enough to buy such a tacky gift?

Judge Sees It Audrina's Way

Published | Updated

The judge in the Audrina Patridge case just said the evidence was "quite disturbing" and granted a 3-year restraining order against her alleged stalker.

The judge said, "It's unfortunate that people who pursue careers in the public have to deal with these people," referring to Zachary Loring.

Audrina read one of the creepy poems Loring sent to her on the stand. The poem was titled "Damzel."

The restraining order was granted on behalf of Audrina and her brother, Mark, who lives with her.

John Travolta Back on the Stand

Published | Updated

John Travolta just testified again in the Bahamas -- and he explained how he learned of the alleged extortion plot against him.

Travolta said one of his employees, Ronald Zupancic, is the one who initially told him there was a threat against him. John said medic Tarino Lightborne threatened to release a document in order to "imply that the death of my son was intentional and I was culpable in some way."

Travolta said he then pulled his lawyer, Michael McDermott, into it -- who informed him the demand was for $25 million or the alleged extortionists would release stories implying that John was in some way to blame for his son Jett's death.

The attorney of one of the alleged extortionists -- Pleasant Bridgewater -- asked John if he was approached directly about the demands ... John said no, it all went through his lawyer.

John's off the stand now.

Published | Updated

The rain's rolled out, but the misery is still setting in -- now rappers Ludacris and T.I. are helping their soggy hometown get back on its feet.

TMZ has learned The Ludacris Foundation has partnered up with Home Depot and Sam's Club to help victims of the Atlanta floods -- which City Hall officials say caused $61 million in damages and wrecked nearly 500 homes.

We spoke to a rep for the foundation, who told us Luda and T.I. are donating $10,000 each to the cause.

The Foundation's rep told us they are planning a large food bank and a gift card giveaway that could happen as soon as Friday.

DMX -- Out of Jail, Into the Ring

Published | Updated

DMX has kindly taken time out of his busy prison guard assaulting schedule to fight someone from the general population.

DMX -- who has to be good an bobbing and weaving by now -- is set to box some dude named Eric Martinez during the "Celebrity Fight" section of an Alabama Pride MMA event in December. We're told Eric is an "up-and-coming actor" -- who we're guessing will soon star in DMX's next police report.

X's rep tells us the rapper has been "working out really hard," "eating right," and is "looking forward to having some fun" -- which we're guessing is prison-speak for beating some poor sap's face in before laundry duty.

Lamar and Khloe Livin' in Sin!

Published | Updated

TMZ has learned Lamar Odom and Khloe Kardashian are not legally married ... and they won't be until a prenup is signed.

We've learned two high-powered family law attorneys are already squaring off, trying to hash out the prenup Odom wants as a condition to marriage. Neal Hersh is doing his bidding, while Lisa Meyer is repping Khloe. We're told the negotiations -- which began last Friday -- are already contentious.

Our sources say the couple will tie the knot -- legally -- once the prenup is inked.

Mel Gibson -- Forgive and Forget

Published | Updated

Mel Gibson will ask a judge to expunge the DUI heard round the world.

We've obtained legal papers (on Yom Kippur, funny enough) revealing that Gibson's lawyer, Blair Berk, will go to court in exactly one week and ask the judge to remove the DUI from Gibson's record -- because he has successfully completed all the terms of his 3-year probation.

You may recall Gibson was arrested in Malibu back in July, 2006 and went on an anti-Semitic rant that authorities tried to bury. TMZ broke the story of the tirade after obtaining four inflammatory pages that had been removed from the deputy's report.

Crash Victims to 'Dr. Phil' Show -- Give Us a Brake

Published | Updated

Five "Dr. Phil" fans are now suing the very show they once loved -- after a road trip to catch a taping of the program allegedly turned into the worst experience of their lives.

Flashback to December 2007, when a bus chartered by the "Dr. Phil" show -- which was carting members of a Ventura County mothers group to see the show -- crashed while en route, injuring 17 people.

According to the lawsuit, filed earlier this month in L.A. County Superior Court, the brakes on the bus "failed and lost power, making the bus unable to stop" ... causing it to collide with "another vehicle, two concrete curbs, an iron fence and two trees."

Now, five women on board that bus are suing Dr. Phil's production company, claiming the show "negligently hired" the faulty bus to pick them up.

The five women are asking for unspecified damages against Dr. Phil's production company -- Peteski Productions -- along with Bus America, Inc. and the bus driver.

Police Receive Ryan Jenkins' Hard Drive

Published | Updated

Buena Park Police officials tell TMZ they've now received the computer hard drive found with Ryan Jenkins when he was discovered hanged back in August.

We're told the BPPD received the hard drive from the Royal Canadian Mounted Police -- who found the computer in Jenkins' room in the Thunderbird Motel in British Columbia on August 23.

As we've previously reported, no suicide note was found with Jenkins -- but police tell us they hope there will be data on the hard drive that will shed new light on the murder of swimsuit model Jasmine Fiore.

Police tell us the case could be closed within weeks.

Hasselhoff's Daughter to 911 -- My Dad Is 'Fine'

Published | Updated

We've just obtained the 911 calls that resulted in David Hasselhoff being taken to the hospital last week -- and in one of them, David's daughter tells the dispatcher her mother got someone to call 911 just to start a bunch of drama.

Here's what went down: In the first call, one of Pamela Bach's friends calls 911 to report an incident at Hasselhoff's house. When the dispatcher calls the house, David's daughter Hayley answers the phone.

She begs the dispatcher to call off the ambulance by saying, "Turn around ... we're completely fine." She then blames the whole thing on her mother, saying, "My mom is trying to cause something ... nothing happened here at all."

Bach told us Hayley called her that day and said David had been drinking -- but David later told us he was just having a bad reaction to a combination of meds.

UPDATE: We've reached out to David's publicist, but hey, it's Yom Kippur in Hollywood.

UPDATE 4:01 PM PT:
Pamela's rep just gave us the following statement:

"Pamela and her friends' 911 calls last week were in response to receiving a distressed call for help from David's home. During the subsequent call, the dispatcher made the final decision to still send the paramedics after their request to speak with David directly were not met.

Britney Drops $3,000 on Cavities

Published | Updated

Britney Spears, two tater tots in hand, invaded the Sugar Factory candy store in Las Vegas this weekend ... and dropped more money on candy than most people do on a new TV.

We're told Brit went buck nutty on the sweets -- three Halloween baskets for her kids, two buckets of Swedish fish and a box of Sugar Factory milk chocolate. Where she really went off was on lollipops: 25 of her own Circus Tour pops for a whopping $25 a piece.

What a sucker.

Lamar Odom's Kids -- No Shows at Wedding

Published | Updated

Lamar Odom's baby mama tells TMZ the two kids she shares with L.O. won't be at his wedding to Khloe Kardashian.

Liza Morales also tells us she did not have a meltdown, contrary to some reports, but admits, "Yes, the circumstances over the last few weeks have been upsetting but none of my actions publicly or from the privacy of my home could be classified as a meltdown. I have maintained a brave face for my children who are my main concern and I remain strong for them."

She went on to say she has "the support of my family and friends and Lamar's family have been nothing but supportive of me and the kids during this difficult time. I wish Lamar nothing but happiness we all deserve to be happy."

Taking the high road -- never a bad thing .... but the kids still ain't going to the wedding.

Det. Says Quaids Had Scam Down to a Science

Published | Updated

TMZ has obtained the detective's sworn statement in the Randy/Evi Quaid hotel caper -- and if you believe the cop, Randy and Evi hatched a sinister plot to fleece some ritzy hotels.

Santa Barbara County Sheriff's Detective Rod Forney wrote in a declaration in support of the arrest warrant ... Randy and Evi Quaid checked into the San Ysidro Ranch with a bogus credit card, bogus phone numbers and addresses and gave excuse after excuse as they racked up a bill totaling $10,546.96.

The Quaids -- who were arrested in Texas yesterday for the alleged crimes of burglary, conspiracy and conspiracy to defraud an innkeeper -- sent a check for $5,546.96 ... so they still owe 5 grand.

But according to Detective Forney, San Ysidro was small potatoes compared to the swanky Hotel Bel-Air in Bev Hills, where they allegedly stiffed the hotel to the tune of $17,000.

And, just before checking into San Ysidro, the couple allegedly stiffed the Santa Barbara Biltmore Hotel.

Detective Forney says there were numerous attempts to get the Quaids to make good on their alleged bad deeds, but to no avail.

Quaid Goes 'Psychotic' on Cop Who Busted Her

Published | Updated

Evi Quaid thinks the cop who arrested her and husband Randy is corrupt. How do we know this? Because she just showed up at his office and went "psychotic" on him.

Deputy James Davis of Presidio County Sheriff's Office in Marfa, Texas tells TMZ Evi showed up at the station just moments ago screaming at him, accusing him of being "a crooked, corrupt cop" who concocted "a plot against her and her husband."

Davis described it as a "psychotic episode."

He claims she followed him into the station and threw a handwritten statement at him accusing him of setting them up.

Davis says Quaid then went to a nearby courthouse and as she was leaving, backed into a motorcycle that was parallel parked.

A police report was taken. No word if any charges will be filed.
