Bella Thorne and Dane Cook looked like two peas in a pod hitting the town Wednesday night ... but we're told the hangout was strictly business.

Sources close to the pair tell TMZ ... Thorne, 18, and Cook, 44, are working on a new movie together and have been spending a lot of time together off-camera to bond. We're told the pics of them leaving the Improv are just that ... there's no type of relationship.

Thorne's been dating Gregg Sulkin for over a year and we're told things are just as good as ever between the two.

Case closed.

Usher's just the latest celeb to piss off drivers on NYC's 6th Ave ... only this time it was for the sake of ping-pong.

The R&B superstar obviously needs to work on his serve -- as you can see -- after getting into a quick match with jeweler to the stars Mr. Flawless ... who's made it a habit to block off the busy one-way street for photo shoots right outside his shop.

Usher proved to be a good sport though -- and apparently this publicity stunt hasn't gotten anybody busted ... at least not yet.

Here's New England Patriots defensive end Jabaal Sheard lining up in front of a 2 POUND monster steak Tuesday -- in what may have been the most delicious charity challenge of his career.

Sheard hit up Smokey Bones Bar & Fire Grill in Tyngsboro, Massachusetts (about an hour from Gillette Stadium) -- where owners offered to give $4,000 to charity if he could finish the whole thing!

We're told people in the restaurant were so pumped -- several customers added to the pot ... which totaled $5,200!

The good news? SHEARD CRUSHED IT ... devouring the entire Flintston chop in 50 minutes!

Ja Rule and Ashanti do not endorse killers, and they've changed the name of their tour ... just in case anyone's getting it twisted.

Ja tells TMZ ... he and Ashanti have decided to change the original tour name, Natural Born Killers, because they thought it would be "insensitive to the families of the victims" of senseless violence.

Ja reposted a promo for their 12-show tour with the word "Killers" crossed out. It's now called the Natural Born Tour.

Ja stressed to us ... they have a creative and First Amendment right to call the tour whatever they want, but made the change anyway.

The name's just for promotion purposes, since tickets to the show are being sold simply as Ja Rule & Ashanti.

Meek Mill in a strip club -- without Nicki Minaj by his side -- is a full party ... and an expensive one too.

The MC hit up ACES Strip Club Wednesday night in Queens, where he was hosting, and as you can see in the video ... Meek was throwing racks on racks on racks. We're told he dropped at least $20k.

He wasn't flying solo ... Meek was rolling with Travis Scott and NBA all-star James Harden.

Tyrese wants to make it abundantly clear -- he was NOT calling out Jay Z, DJ Khaled and Future as hip-hop stars not doing enough for their community ... despite a post that seems that way.

The singer tells TMZ ... his IG post was about all people of color needing to step up and come together -- especially powerful men like Jay Z, who has the stage and voice to influence real change ... like going to Congress to change gun and drug laws.

Tyrese tells us he's going to reach out to Jay to come up with some kind of plan to help save black men from killing each other and winding up in jail.

Tyrese seemed to be pointing the finger at the trio after posting the pic Tuesday of the 3 rappers with a long caption calling 'em out for scheduling a music video -- Khaled's "I Got Keys" -- but not finding time to bridge the racial gap.

It should be noted other rappers -- T.I., Swizz Beatz, Rick Ross, 2 Chainz and Pusha T -- were part of the video, but not in the photo.

Beyonce didn't venture far for postcard-perfect shots of the Eiffel Tower ... she just stepped out on the balcony of her stupidly ballin' hotel suite.

We're told Bey holed up at the Shangri-La Hotel this past week when her Formation World Tour rolled through Paris. She got the hotel's signature top floor suite, naturally ... which typically goes for $19k a night.

The 1 bedroom suite is about 2,938 sq ft of living space ... 900 sq ft make up the balcony alone, which Bey, Jay Z and Blue Ivy made the most of, judging by their pics.

Her guests included Cara Santana, Michelle Trachtenberg, Clare Grant (Seth Green's wife) and actress Jillian Murray. The ladies were treated to a 2-hour VIP tour ... complete with a swim session in the famed indoor Roman pool (usually off limits). The floaties were pre-approved.

We're told private events at Hearst Castle typically cost up to $22,000 ... but with the family discount Lydia's tab came to $0.00.

A Texas woman got a dream marriage proposal ... assuming her dream involved 7,000 sweaty strangers, the "Supernatural" cast and a bunch of references to the show.

It all went down Sunday at Comic-Con, and "Supernatural" fan Colin Chavez tells TMZ his viral moment got the attention of the network. After his gf said "yes" and the panel wrapped up ... he says a Warner Bros. rep said the cast wanted to hook the couple up with show-themed engagement presents ... which they're sending out to them.

Lindsay Lohan and fiance Egor Tarabasov got into such a heated argument, cops in London kicked down their apartment door to check on them -- and now she's leaving town ... alone.

LiLo left her home Monday morning and headed to Heathrow ... after a tumultuous weekend. Officers responded to a call early Saturday morning to "a woman in distress" at Lindsay and Egor's pad. Scotland Yard tells us ... once cops got inside they say there was no one there -- but they eventually tracked down the couple, and determined both were safe.

No arrests were made, but our Lindsay sources tell us things have been bad. We're told she's telling friends the relationship is violent at times.

While Lindsay headed to the airport alone, it's interesting to note she's still wearing her giant emerald engagement ring. She also used a shirt with an E.E. Cummings poem on it for cover from photogs.

Draymond Green will be off the hook in his bar fight case ... if he can keep his nose clean for a year ... because the NBA star just struck a plea deal with prosecutors.

Green was arrested for assault on July 10th after allegedly striking a college football player in the face outside of a Michigan bar. He was facing more than 90 days in jail if convicted.

But now, Green has reportedly cut a deal ... in which he agreed to pay a $500 fine and $60 in jail restitution AND he must stay out of trouble for a year. He also isn't allowed to contact the victim.

If he does all of those things ... the charge will be reduced to a civil infraction ... so he won't have a misdemeanor on his record.

We spoke with Asst. City Attorney David Meyers who tells us Draymond got NO special treatment.

Jon Gosselin is proud of the work he puts in at T.G.I. Friday's, and says he donated his pay to multiple charities.

Jon went on the "Kannon and Sybil" radio show Wednesday in Dallas and was pissed his cover was blown. TMZ broke the story ... he's been clocking in at a Friday's in Lancaster, PA.

Drake just bought 24 karat gold Air Jordan 10s that put the sneakers in your collection to shame -- and if you're insanely rich ... they come at a bargain.

Drizzy commissioned the shoes a couple months ago and got them last week. We're told reports that the kicks cost $2 million and weigh in at 100 lbs are just plain wrong. Artist Matthew Senna -- who made the shoes -- fetches between $3,500 and $30k a pair. Drake's shoes are on the higher end.

We're told the shoes aren't made entirely from gold. They're a mix of gold and other materials, including parts of real shoe. Each shoe is around 16 inches long and weighs 20 lbs.

Drake's in good gold company ... the artist has made everything from a gold nail bat for Post Malone to a life-size bronze statue of Jadakiss' head. Check it out below ...

Cops in Georgia are refuting Yung Joc's claim whites get tased and blacks get shot.

The Union City Police Department defended its tactics after the rapper voiced frustration about seeing cops tase a white man on Wednesday as he attempted to flee from court.

Joc says if it had been him, cops would have pulled their guns instead -- but the cops take offense to the rapper's comment. A spokesperson tells us, “We are a proactive police department and we are working with the community to build a better relationship with the citizens and specifically with the African American community."

Translation: Stop trying to make us look bad, Yung Joc.
