Post Malone Mariachi Serenade Cost Almost $1k
Post Malone needed a little pick-me-up before his show this weekend -- so, naturally, his pal hired a mariachi band to belt out his hit single to the tune of about $1,000.
Sources close to Post tell TMZ one of his buddies, Rich Chigga, ordered a song request from the best Yelp-reviewed mariachi band in Miami ahead of the rapper's gig Sunday at the Rolling Loud Festival ... 'cause he felt Post needed to get hyped before taking the stage.
We're told Rich met with the band ahead of time and gave 'em the lyrics to Post's single, "Congratulations" ... which they rehearsed before being dropped off at Bayfront Park by Postmates. Yes, they also deliver people.
The original cost was supposed to be $350 for a couple hours, but Post showed up super late and the tab ran up to $900 quick ... coming out of Rich's pockets.
For what it's worth -- again, $900 -- it looks like their version was Post approved. Felicidades!

Ja Rule's Fyre Festival Bahamas Blames Organizers ... You Cost Us Millions!
The crap storm of Ja Rule's now cancelled Fyre Festival hurts the Bahamas as much as it does concertgoers ... in fact, probably more because tourism is EVERYTHING on the island.
Sources at the Bahamas tourism board tell us ... they were ecstatic about Ja's first annual "luxury" music fest because it was going to be a huge moneymaker and great pub for the islands.
We're told the Bahamas stands to lose out on millions with the festival being called off ... and tourism officials are devastated. The Ministry of Tourism released a statement saying it's "extremely disappointed" ... especially because it offered to help the fest organizers.
Our sources say event planners were in way over their heads ... grossly unprepared for an expected crowd of at least 6,000. However, they don't think the Fyre Festival was a scam, it was just too poorly organized to continue.

Justin Bieber Tickled Pink, Grilled Too
You're not seeing pink elephants ... that's just Justin Bieber's new grill.

The mouthpiece comes courtesy of Gold Teeth God -- a jeweler based out of L.A. -- who we're told Justin flew out to Miami last week to do an impression of his chompers.
The grill is a combo of pink sapphire and rose gold, with 6 teeth covered on top and another 6 on the bottom. It comes with 6 carats of sapphire ... and took about 5 days to make.
We're told Justin has bought jewelry from GTG before, so going to him for the grill was a no-brainer. He seems to dig it, too.
All we can say ... love your grill, Biebs.

Joe McKnight Shooter Football Star was Roid Raging ... Before Shooting
The man who shot and killed Joe McKnight says the ex-NFL player was fueled by a mix of steroids, pain pills and weed during their fatal confrontation ... and he only pulled his gun out of fear.
Ronald Gasser filed new court docs in the murder case against him -- claiming he learned McKnight "was under the influence of marijuana, pain pills, and anabolic steroids at the time [he] attacked Mr. Gasser."
Unclear where Gasser got his information -- it seems his legal team may have had access to McKnight's toxicology results following the autopsy.
However, in the docs Gasser paints a picture of a man in full steroid rage -- saying McKnight was "violent and erratic" following an intense chase through the streets of Louisiana on Dec. 1.
Gasser says he did NOTHING that he would consider "aggressive" to provoke McKnight -- and says it was Joe who was screaming and yelling like a maniac.
Gasser says he ultimately shot Joe while "fearing for his life."
At the time of the shooting, McKnight was a pro football player in Canada -- a running back for the Saskatchewan Roughriders.
The CFL has a strict anti-steroid policy and tests players -- though it's unclear if McKnight ever tested positive for anabolic steroids.

Aaron Hernandez's Lawyer Scoffs At Inmate Allegations
Aaron Hernandez's legal team says the inmate who claims to have had a special friendship with the NFL star behind bars is simply trying to get money from the media ... and they won't dignify his claims with an official comment.
The inmate, Kyle Kennedy, has hired a lawyer after reports surfaced Hernandez wrote a suicide letter to him before his death. Kennedy claims they became very close in prison and spent a "great deal of time together."
Hernandez's attorney, Jose Baez, has previously shot down reports Aaron left a note for a gay prison lover -- and tells TMZ Sports his team has more important things to do than address Kennedy's claims.
"Our team is doing serious legal work," Baez says ... "We don’t have the time to stop our efforts and respond to every convicted felon that has something to say about Aaron Hernandez."
He adds, "Quite frankly I’m surprised more inmates have not come forward to make money off the media."
