Donald Trump Alright, Alright We Won't Take Greenland ... By 'Force!'
President Donald Trump finally confirmed he wouldn't deploy U.S. military to forcibly take over Greenland ... following weeks of speculation about his plans for the world's largest island.
POTUS spoke about Greenland during his speech at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, on Wednesday, claiming the U.S. had controlled the island as a trustee during World War II before giving it back to Denmark, Fox News reports. The U.S. helped defend Greenland from Nazi Germany, but never held it as a formal trustee.
Trump said the United States has never "asked for anything" in its NATO membership ... and acknowledged the alliance doesn't permit any member nation to take control of Greenland from Denmark.
He added ... "We probably won't get anything unless I decide to use excessive strength and force where we would be, frankly, unstoppable. But I won't do that. Okay, now everyone say, 'oh good.' That's probably the biggest statement I made because people thought I would use force. I don't have to use force. I don't want to use force. I won't use force."
Trump said he holds "tremendous respect" for the citizens of Greenland and Denmark -- but reiterated he thinks the U.S. needs to own the island for national and global security.
ICYMI ... 47 first floated the idea of taking control of Greenland, an autonomous territory under the Kingdom of Denmark, in 2019 during his first term as president ... and he's been ramping up pressure on Denmark over the past few months.
Trump claims Russian and Chinese boats have been circling the island ... experts have shot down those claims.

Jeffrey Epstein Roblox Player Creates Pedo's Island In The Game
A Roblox user has created an in-game version of Jeffrey Epstein's private island, Little St. James ... and the attention to detail is disturbing.
The game, titled "Saint Silverlemon Isle," includes several cabanas, a yacht, and a secret underground temple, as well as a villa complete with a massage table.
A Roblox player spent weeks re-creating every aspect of Jeffery Epistein's child sex island to exact hyper-realistic detail directly within the platform. Super disturbing pic.twitter.com/2FNN8nGhbI
— Schlep (@RealSchlep) January 20, 2026 @RealSchlep
A description for the game tells players to "survive Jeffery the Killer and Donald on the island" in a not-so-subtle reference to the one-time friendship between convicted pedophile Jeffery Epstein and President Donald Trump.
FYI ... Epstein purchased Little St. James, located in the U.S. Virgin Islands, in 1998, and he owned the island for more than two decades prior to his death by suicide in jail in 2019.
Numerous high-profile international figures in politics, business, academia and entertainment -- including Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor and Stephen Hawking -- reportedly visited the island, where Epstein allegedly trafficked several victims.
In December, the Congressional House Oversight Committee released numerous photos taken on the island by investigators, and there was plenty of troubling stuff on the island ... including a room set up to resemble a dentist's office with creepy masks of old men lining the walls.
Billionaire investor Stephen Deckoff bought Little St. James, as well as neighboring Great St. James, which was also owned by Epstein, for $60 million in 2023 ... and he's planning to build a resort on the land, reports The New York Times.

Russell Brand Granted Bail on New Rape, Sexual Assault Charges
In an online hearing Tuesday, Russell Brand was granted bail on two new charges of sexual assault and rape. Brand was already facing five other charges, including alleged rape and sexual assault.
Brand appeared at Westminster Magistrates' Court in London, England via videolink from his home in Florida on Tuesday. He reportedly spoke only to confirm his name and date of birth, The Guardian reports.
Brand's currently scheduled to appear at Southwark Crown Court in London on February 17th.
The actor and comedian was charged with one count of rape and one count of sexual assault last month. Authorities told TMZ the charges stemmed from alleged incidents with two new female accusers.
Brand said in a video statement posted on social media at the time ... "I pray that anyone that I've harmed or hurt in my years of mindlessness, of sin, have been healed, and for the absolute truth of who I am to be revealed."
The actor was already facing five charges of rape, sexual assault and indecent assault, based on allegations from four different women ... he pled not guilty to the charges last May. That trial is set for June 3rd.
Brand's denied all of the allegations against him and has claimed all of his past relationships were consensual.

Donald Trump No Nobel Peace Prize? Then I'll Take Greenland Instead!
Donald Trump is blaming the country of Norway for not awarding him a Nobel Peace Prize ... and he's using that as a reason to escalate his threats to take over Greenland -- from Denmark -- all displayed in a letter from Trump to Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre.
Støre sent a text message Sunday to Trump on behalf of both himself and Finnish Prime Minister Alexander Stubb, asking if they could set up a meeting to discuss several hot-topic issues -- particularly Trump's ongoing threats to invade Greenland, The Independent reports.
Trump responded and accused Norway of snubbing him for last year's Nobel Peace Prize, which went to Maria Corina Machado. But the government of Norway is not involved with the Norwegian Nobel Committee's decisions about awarding the prizes, as Støre pointed out.
Trump said in his reply he no longer has an "obligation to think purely of Peace" -- an ironic statement coming from someone obsessed with getting the Peace Prize. Trump frequently claims he's stopped 8 wars.
Trump said in his message Denmark can't protect Greenland from Russia and China -- though there's no indication either country has designs on the world's largest island. Trump says the United States has done more for NATO than any other country -- so therefore the alliance should force Denmark to surrender Greenland to the U.S.
Trump has said the U.S. needs Greenland for national security purposes.
FWIW ... Machado presented Trump with her medal last week.

Josh Shapiro Kamala's Team Wanted To Know If I Spied For Israel!
Josh Shapiro went through an extensive vetting process while Kamala Harris figured out who she wanted as a running mate for her 2024 presidential campaign ... and he says he was asked if he'd ever spied for Israel.
The governor of Pennsylvania wrote about his experience with the former vice president's team in his upcoming memoir, "Where We Keep the Light," and he claimed his views on Israel were a hot topic with her advisors, reports The New York Times.
Shapiro, who is Jewish and has been outspoken about his support for Israel, said he was asked if he'd ever been in communication with any Israeli undercover agents ... and whether he'd ever been a double agent.
Shapiro said he knew the people asking him about his connections to Israel were simply doing their jobs, but added their actions "said a lot about some of the people around the VP."
He added, while he felt the vetting sessions had been "completely professional and businesslike," he wondered if he was being asked about his views on Israel solely because of his religion.
Shapiro said "had a knot in my stomach" throughout the vetting process.
As you know, Shapiro didn't make the cut ... Harris eventually picked Minnesota Governor Tim Walz as her running mate ... they went on to lose to Donald Trump and J.D. Vance.

Jennifer Lawrence I Was Told I Wasn't Hot Enough To Play Sharon Tate!
Jennifer Lawrence has a career full of high-profile roles, winning multiple awards and worldwide recognition for her talents ... but folks on the internet apparently didn't think she had the right looks to play Sharon Tate.
The actress talked about it on the "Happy Sad Confused" podcast earlier this week and claimed she missed out on playing Tate in the Quentin Tarantino-directed film "Once Upon a Time in Hollywood" because she got trashed online for her looks.
When host Josh Horowitz doubted her claim, Lawrence said she'd "been telling the story for so long that way, I believe it." FYI ... Margot Robbie played Tate in the flick, and she was nominated for a BAFTA.
Jennifer acknowledged the possibility of never having been considered for the role, and said, "The internet just went out of its way to call me ugly" while the part was being cast.
Lawrence added she'd turned down a part in Tarantino's 2015 movie "The Hateful Eight," which she regretted ... hey, he's reportedly still got one more movie in him, so there's still time!
Anyway ... Tate's sister Debra spoke to us in 2017 and told us she would cast Margot over Jennifer, mostly because the latter didn't measure up to her standards ... she actually knew Sharon, so her opinion carries a bit more weight.
Still, for those folks on the internet who didn't think Jennifer was hot enough to play Tate ... what the hell's wrong with you?!
