A relative of Mildred Patty Baena -- who has not made a cent off her and REFUSES to sell out -- tells TMZ ... Mildred is shocked and didn't expect her own family to make a cheap buck off this whole ordeal.

In addition to the money, we're told Mildred feels these family members are just telling flat-out lies. The relative we spoke to says Mildred is sure the main culprit is the ex-wife of a family member.

If you can't count on an ex-in-law to keep secrets about your illegitimate love child with the former Governor of California ... who can you count on?

Sources close to Katherine tell TMZ, she believes the Smith children are prime examples of young success in Hollywood -- both extremely talented and down-to-earth -- and thinks Prince, Paris, and Blanket could learn a lot from them.

According to sources, Katherine wants to surround her grandchildren with role models like Jaden and Willow -- so she set up the meet-and-greet ... and we're told, the kids got along like a house on fire.

The Jackson kids arrived to the set with their grandmother, Katherine Jackson. So far, it's unclear if the kids were on the set to act ... or just to hang out with the Smiths.

Sources very close to Baena tell TMZ ... she was extremely aggressive when it came to chasing men -- like a heat-seeking missile. They say her flirting was often "inappropriate," but her tactics frequently worked -- at least short-term.

Our sources says Baena almost always made the first move -- going after whomever she wanted -- and Arnold was no different.

Baena kept the 13-year-old boy in the dark, says the New York Post, and neighbors say he even referred to Baena's current boyfriend as dad.

The paper says Baena's secrecy over paternity ran so deep, her own sister didn't even know until this week. That's strange, because some of Baena's friend who have spoken with TMZ tell us they've know for a while.

We're told the Christmas photo was taken inside Arnold's house around the year 2000.

People who live next door to Patty and her son tell us, the boy "is the type of kid you just want to be around. He is so sweet, funny, and handsome."

But that's not it -- we're also told he is extremely well-mannered and smart, loves sports, and is even involved in door-to-door fund-raising for local charities.

And get this ... the two kids were born less than a WEEK APART -- Maria's son Christopher was born on September 27, 1997 ... and Mildred's love child was born on October 2, 1997.

Sources say Maria was distraught after learning Arnold pulled a John Edwards. The baby mama worked for the family for two decades, retired and received a severance package, according to the L.A. Times.

The baby was born more than a decade ago, but until recently Maria thought the father was the woman's husband at the time.

Schwarzenegger told The Times, "After leaving the governor's office I told my wife about this event, which occurred over a decade ago. I understand and deserve the feelings of anger and disappointment among my friends and family. There are no excuses and I take full responsibility for the hurt I have caused. I apologized to Maria, my children and my family. I am truly sorry."

TMZ heard about the baby 5 days ago, but everyone in the Schwarzenegger camp was denying it. But sources told us Maria was "completely distraught" yet determined to move on with her life. She has not pulled the trigger to end her marriage on the legal side, but she has been working with a very powerful financial adviser who has been helping her position herself for a divorce.

We believe -- though have not confirmed -- there is a prenup, but the couple has been together so long the effectiveness of it is problematic.

UPDATE: Maria released a statement saying, "This is a painful and heartbreaking time. As a mother, my concern is for the children."

She continued, "I ask for compassion, respect and privacy as my children and I try to rebuild our lives and heal. I will have no further comment."

Patrick took to his Twitter page moments ago and posted, "some days you feel like s**t, some days you want to quit and just be normal for a bit, yet i love my family till death do us apart."

FYI -- the first part of Patrick's message is a lyric from the Fort Minor hit, "Where'd You Go."

Law enforcement tells us ... cops stopped Frankie for a routine traffic violation yesterday when they noticed an active warrant out for her arrest stemming from a probation violation.

We're told cops then performed a search -- and found "drug-related material" on her person.

Lons was arrested and transported to a nearby jail -- where she was booked for the probation violation and misdemeanor possession of drug-related material.

The publicist wouldn't get into specifics, but insists little Luke is expected to be back at home with Gary and Gary's fiancee Steffanie Sampson by the end of the week.

Roseanne and her ex, Ben Thomas, are in the middle of a trial to determine if Roseanne has to foot the bill for Ben's trips to Hawaii to visit their son, Buck. Roseanne lives in Hawaii and Buck attends school there.

During the trial today in L.A.County Superior Court ... Roseanne's legal team said they are in the process of filing for "sole legal and physical custody" of Buck.

Her attorneys expect to complete the process once the judge rules in the current trial.

Outside court, we asked how it went -- and Roseanne simply put her hands together to pray.

15-year-old Naijiel and 18-year-old Lil Nate revealed their game plan in L.A. yesterday ... and gave us a sample of the goods to boot.

According to the certificate, the kid -- born back in January -- officially goes by the name Flynn C.B.C. Bloom ... and those three middle initials are the enigma.

The document lists Orlando's middle name as "J.B.C." -- and we know the "J.B." stands for Jonathan Blanchard. No word on what the "C" stands for ... in Dad's case or baby Flynn's.

Educated guess -- cute?

Kelly wrote a diatribe on her Facebook page on Tuesday -- claiming Best Buy at the Ridgemar Mall in Fort Worth, TX refused to sell her iPod shuffles ... citing a store policy which limits how many iPods they can sell to a customer.

But according to sources at Best Buy, no such policy exists ... and corporate is PISSED -- in fact, a BB rep even left an apology on Clarkson's Facebook, explaining, "We spoke to the management [at Ridgemar] and they'd like to apologize for this experience ... their intention was not to upset you."
