Carmen Electra se está despidiendo de su nombre de nacimiento y abrazando su icónico apodo para siempre, pues su solicitud de cambio de nombre ha sido oficialmente concedida.

TMZ confirmó que a la icónica actriz y modelo de "Baywatch" se le concedió legalmente el nombre que buscaba hace unos 2 meses, de acuerdo con nuevos documentos legales obtenidos por TMZ.

Luego de dos meses de que diera a conocer sus intenciones de cambiarse el nombre, los tribunales han concedido que sea legalmente reconocida como "Carmen Electra" en lugar de su nombre de nacimiento Tara Leigh Patrick en los documentos del gobierno y todo.

Fuimos los primeros en contarles: Carmen Electra hizo la presentación el 29 de diciembre de 2023 y en su momento nos dijeron que su razonamiento se debía a su deseo de comenzar de nuevo en las vísperas del Año Nuevo.

Por supuesto, hace siglos que nadie le dice Tara, ya que Carmen lleva luciendo su apodo desde que irrumpió en escena en su momento.

Por si no conoces la historia de cómo consiguió su nombre artístico, fue el mismísimo Prince quien se lo puso cuando fue a una audición para formar parte de un grupo femenino que él estaba armando a principios de los 90.

Desafortunadamente, no fue elegida por Prince, pero abrió su propio camino al estrellato, causando sensación en televisión y más allá y, obviamente, el nombre de Carmen se quedó.

Su apodo se ha convertido en sinónimo de su icónico estatus como icono de la cultura pop, por lo que es lógico que lo haya querido convertir en su verdadero nombre.

TMZ has confirmed that the iconic "Baywatch" actress/model was legally granted the name she sought about 2 months ago -- this according to new legal docs, obtained by TMZ.

Two months after she made her intentions known to the court, she's now legally recognized as "Carmen Electra" instead of her birth name Tara Leigh Patrick on government docs and all.

We broke the story ... CE made the filing on Dec. 29, 2023, and we were told at the time her reasoning boiled down to her wanting a fresh start for the New Year.

Of course, it's been absolutely ages since anyone's called her Tara as Carmen's been rocking her super cool moniker since bursting onto the scene back in the day.

If you didn't know the backstory to how she even got her stage name, it was actually late icon Prince who bestowed it upon her when she auditioned to be part of an all-girl group he was assembling in the early '90s.

Unfortunately, she didn't make the cut for Prince ... but she went on to blaze her own trail to stardom, making a splash on TV and beyond -- and obviously, the name Carmen stuck around.

Safe to say ... her cool moniker has become synonymous with her iconic status as a pop culture icon, so it's only fitting she made it the real deal.

Elle said, "I go to bed with a smile. I go to bed with a happy heart. And an eye mask. ... No clothes. My skin."

Good to know. But Elle didn't explain why sleeping in the buff keeps her young and spry.

She also said she stays away from caffeine while eating her final meal each day at 5 p.m. before settling down with a hot chocolate and then calling it a night.

When Elle wakes up to an alarm at 5 AM every morning, she grins and then does 25 minutes of in-bed meditation to preserve her mind, body, and spirit.

Then she hops on her bicycle and rides to the beach, where she takes a dip in the ocean. After that, Elle starts her yoga exercises at sunrise, before moving on to some more swimming and cycling, as well as hiking.

She also treats herself to infrared saunas, warming her body using heat lamps instead of steam. By the way, Elle, if you didn't know, was dubbed "The Body" in her prime as a model.

Elle will go for a cold plunge as well to ease her sore muscles and decrease inflammation after a workout.

Sounds like wedding bells will soon be replacing the ref's whistle for Christian McCaffrey ... 'cause the NFL star's fiancee Olivia Culpo just made it clear she's ready to tie the knot!

The former Miss Universe, wearing a white dress, shared photos Friday on social media, along with a caption reading ... "Thanking God for a healthy season and for putting my best friend on this earth. Now let’s get married!"

Law enforcement tells TMZ ... Corinna's home was burglarized last week, with thieves smashing through glass to get inside her house.

We're told the incident went down while Corinna was out of town ... and she got a notification on her phone that someone had broken into her place.

Cops say someone from Corinna’s team notified police, who rushed up to her pad ... but by the time cops and her people got there, the burglars were gone.

Unclear what, if anything, was stolen and how much those items might be worth. Cops say Corinna will go through her belongings when she gets home to figure out what's missing.

We're told police are reviewing video from the home and looking around the neighborhood for more footage ... the case remains under investigation and there have been no arrests.

It looks like Corinna's pretty far from home ... her social media posts indicate she's down in Australia.

Here's the deal ... Edward is stepping down at British Vogue after 40 years as magazine editor, and the March issue is a farewell of sorts ... with 40 fashion icons joining forces for a photo shoot. It's a big deal -- he's been heading up British Vogue for years now.

The cover page just dropped and folks on social media seem shocked at the lack of Kardashians and Jenners ... there's no Kim, Khloe, Kourtney, Kris, Kylie or Kendall -- and while some were gleefully rejoicing, many were genuinely curious about their absence.

Ditto for Gisele -- people were scratching their heads over her not being among the 40 models ... especially considering how she's the highest-paid supermodel of all time.

TMZ did some digging and as it turns out, none of the Kardashians or Jenners have ever appeared on the cover of British Vogue ... hence them not being among the "Vogue icons" in this sweet farewell to Ed.

Ya can't really be snubbed from something if you were never involved in the first place -- so that answers that. Yes, the KarJenners have graced multiple Vogue covers over the years -- from many different counties -- but none have ever been on British Vogue specifically.

Of course, Gisele is the more glaring hole ... you see, she's huge in the modeling world, period, and appeared in the 2022 edition of British Vogue. So she does have history.

We have an answer for that as well -- sources with direct knowledge tell TMZ ... Gisele was actually invited to take part in this photoshoot, but she wasn't available on the day the shoot happened. In other words ... no snub for Gisele either -- just scheduling conflicts.
