'Enquirer' claims Simmons isn't pro-LGBT because his suit claims defamation and that suggests being transgender is a bad thing. Carrera says that's just BS.

Zion Moreno -- a trans model who is vying for a shot in the next Sports Illustrated Swimsuit edition -- says it doesn't matter if Simmons is transitioning ... there's a bigger issue the Enquirer is missing.

Another comeback for Julian Edelman?

Just a few months after calling it quits, the Patriots WR and supermodel Adriana Lima reconnected in NYC Monday night to party together after the Met Gala ... but it's not exactly a reconciliation.

The two were spotted together hitting up Rihanna's after-party at 1 OAK -- where they arrived in the same car.

Our sources tell us things were pretty frosty between the two after they split earlier this year -- but it seems the ice has thawed. We're told they're definitely NOT back together but it's clear they're on much better terms.

Edelman and Lima were not each other's dates for the Gala -- Edelman arrived to the affair with fellow Pats WR Danny Amendola and they sat at Tom Brady's table.

Nicki Minaj, Kanye West and Lil Wayne's music was too much for a modeling agency employee to take around the office, and he says he got fired when he bitched about it.

Talent manager Charles Short just sued his ex-employer, The Lions Model Management -- a big deal agency repping the likes of Irina Shayk, Stella Maxwell, Alexis Ren and Jessica Hart. According to docs, music was commonly played loudly around the office.

Charles, who's African-American, says he found the repeated use of the n-word in the songs offensive and inappropriate. In the suit, he says he complained once and it stopped briefly, but co-workers mocked him for "hating" rap ... and eventually it started blaring in the office once again.

He fired off an angry email to his bosses in March, and was told him he was overreacting. He says execs told him, "Some of the models we represent use the n-word." The next day they told him, "It's best if you don't come in anymore."

Charles is suing for discrimination, retaliation and wrongful termination. The agency had no comment.

Caitlyn Jenner says her daughter got a raw deal after the debacle of that Pepsi protest commercial, because after all ... Kendall Jenner's just a model who showed up for a job.

The Pepsi ad came up during Caitlyn's interview Wednesday on Andy Cohen's Sirius XM Radio show. She says she actually thought the spot was "so cool."

Caitlyn says she didn't see the things that pissed off so many people -- such as the insensitive depiction of recent protests like the Black Lives Movement. She added, Kendall looked at the script and thought it looked cool ... so she shot it "over in the Orient or something."
