William H. Macy Wahlberg Should be Proud of Porn Role ... In 'Boogie Nights'
Mark Wahlberg doesn't need God's forgiveness for playing a porn star in "Boogie Nights" because there's nothing wrong with porn ... so says William H. Macy.
Wahlberg, a devout Catholic, said in a Chicago Tribune interview this week that his Dirk Diggler role was up there on his list of poor career choices. It's a pretty far out statement considering the role turned Wahlberg from rapper to Hollywood A-lister.
Macy played Wahlberg's co-star Little Bill in the '97 film and when we got him at LAX Thursday he praised Wahlberg's work in the film ... as did a random dude in the airport security line.
Macy stopped short of calling "Boogie Nights" his favorite flick, but sounds like he thinks Walhberg nailed the role.

Harvey Weinstein Finally Gonna Burn In Giant London Effigy
A 36-foot-tall effigy of Harvey Weinstein will go up in smoke, flames ... and then down in ashes as part of a British tradition.
The Edenbridge Bonfire Society unveiled the giant figure Wednesday in preparation for Saturday's annual Bonfire Night celebration in London. It's an yearly tradition for Brits in memory of Guy Fawkes' 1605 failed plot to blow up the Parliament.
So, why fry Harvey? The simple answer is the Society always chooses a well-known figure in pop culture who they believe deserves a good torching. Weinstein's facing a mountain of sexual assault allegations in Britain alone, sooo ...

Kevin Spacey Accused of Trying to Molest 14-Year-Old Actor
"Star Trek: Discovery" actor Anthony Rapp claims Kevin Spacey got sexually aggressive toward him when he was only 14 years old, and Spacey has responded by apologizing and coming out as gay.
Rapp told BuzzFeed News the incident occurred in 1986 ... the 2 were both on Broadway at the time. Rapp says Spacey told him he was having a party and invited him.
Rapp says he got bored and retreated to the bedroom to watch TV. He said Spacey came in the room and appeared drunk, then "picked me up like a groom picks up the bride over the threshold. But I don't, like, squirm away initially, because I'm like, 'What's going on?' And then he lays down on top of me."
Rapp says Spacey was holding him down as he struggled to get away, adding, "He was trying to seduce me." He eventually got away and left.
Spacey, now 58, responded on social media, saying, "I have a lot of respect and admiration for Anthony Rapp as an actor. I am beyond horrified to hear his story. I honestly do not remember the encounter, it would have been over 30 years ago. But if I did behave as he describes, I owe him the sincerest apology for what would have been deeply inappropriate drunken behavior ..."
Spacey went on to say, "The story has encouraged me to address other things about my life," adding, "I have had relationships with both men and women. I have loved and had romantic encounters with men throughout my life, and I choose now to live as a gay man."

The backup Rocky Balboa statue for "Rocky III" might just end up in the hands of Sly Stallone himself ... 'cause his wife, Jennifer Flavin, says she wants to buy it!!
That was until we told her how much it'd cost her -- up to $1 MIL -- at which point she seemed to lose hope (sorry, Jenn).
TMZ Sports broke the story ... SCP Auctions is taking bids on the only replica of the iconic Rocky statue -- made just in case anything happened to the original.
Flavin was pumped about bringing the piece home to Stallone ... but after finding out the price tag, told us another place she'd be OK with the bronzen Balboa ending up.
Never say never, though ... you really think Sly wouldn't pony up?

Weinstein Co. 1st Movie Post-Scandal Made Just $742!
It would appear that Harvey Weinstein's woes might've started to affect his business -- the 1st Weinstein Co. movie released since his scandal made less than $1,000 in theaters.
TWC's "Amityville: The Awakening" -- which stars Bella Thorne -- reportedly grossed a meager $742 Saturday after being released in just 10 locations ... 2 weeks after streaming on Google Play for free.
The movie was shot a while ago, with the first trailer dropping in 2015 -- but its release date kept getting pushed back until this month. The announcement for its latest release date came just a couple weeks before Harvey's first NYT story.
As we reported ... sources close to TWC's financial records tell us the biz is on the verge of bankruptcy, but the company has called BS on that claim.
To be fair, it's not entirely clear if Harvey's troubles played any role in this flick's crappy earnings -- but if it's any consolation ... at least it didn't do as bad Shia LaBeouf's 1-ticket movie.

Christopher McDonald Beer in Hand Before DUI Bust ... Guten Oktoberfest!
OCTOBER 2017
Christopher McDonald was slinging brew like the Germans do during Oktoberfest -- which could help explain his DUI arrest later the same day.
TMZ has obtained video of Chris at an Oktoberfest Saturday around the Lake Arrowhead area, and as you can see ... he was front and center for the festivities, beer in hand and all.
Unclear how much this plays into his bust later that night, but we do know he was arrested for DUI and thrown into jail just hours later. We're told this video was taken around 5 PM ... about 4 hours before he crashed his Porsche and was taken into custody.
As we reported ... Chris allegedly tried playing the celeb card with cops, but they weren't buying what he was selling -- which is apparent in these arrest photos. He was taken to a nearby jail and was set to be released without bail.
Fahr vorsichtig, Chris.

Rose McGowan Harvey Offered Me $1M of Hush Money ... I Countered with $6M
Rose McGowan says Harvey Weinstein offered her $1 million to keep her mouth shut before his 1st sexual harassment story broke -- which she countered for far higher before ultimately shooting him down.
Rose told the NYT someone in Weinstein's camp reached out to her before the first story ran with multiple allegations of sexual harassment and offered her $1 mil to sign a non-disclosure agreement saying she'd stay quiet through it all.
She says she countered with $6 million, explaining she thought she could get at least $3 mil out of him -- which she says she only considered to help fund her art.
Ultimately, Rose says she told her lawyer to pull the plug on the counter-offer within a day of the article being published because she says she thought ... "Ew, gross, you’re disgusting, I don’t want your money, that would make me feel disgusting."
Rose made her first public speech in the wake of Weinstein last week at a women's convention with a clear message ... time to step up and be heard.
