College Basketball Cheerleader Ejected From Game ... After Confronting Player On The Court
It's not every day you see a cheerleader ejected from a basketball game ... but, here we are!
Just that happened to a cheerleader from Mississippi Valley State University who, for some reason, decided it was a good idea to walk on the court and confront an Alabama A&M player during Saturday's conference game.
During the second half, played at the Harrison HPER Complex ... the cheerleader was doing a front hurdler jump when Bama guard/forward Dailin Smith, who was inbounding the ball, appeared to accidentally hit her leg.
She wasn't pleased.

The next time down the court, and when play stopped, the cheerleader walked right up to Smith to confront him. On. The. Court.
When she got to Dailin, she actually appeared to give him a little shove ... and you can hear someone yell for security on the live broadcast.
The MVSU broadcasters were baffled by the events, as they attempted to figure out what was happening as security and police approached the cheerleader.
"They're gonna put one of the cheerleaders out of the game," the broadcaster said. "It's getting real heated here."

NCAA All-American Swimmer We Were Forced To Share Locker Room W/ Lia Thomas 'Exposed To Male Genitalia'
Riley Gaines, an All-American swimmer, is speaking out against the NCAA after she says her and her fellow competitors were made to share a locker room with transgender swimmer Lia Thomas, and were exposed to "male genitalia."
Gaines, a 12x All-American and 5x SEC champion at Kentucky turned women's sports advocate appeared on FOX News' "America Reports", and talked about Thomas.
"Of course, we competed against Thomas, we were not forewarned beforehand that we would be sharing a locker room with Lia. We did not give our consent. They did not ask for our consent," Gaines, a 12x All-American and 5x SEC champion at Kentucky turned women's sports advocate said when she appeared on FOX News' "America Reports."
Gaines continued ... "But in that locker room we turned around and there's a 6'4" biological man dropping his pants and watching us undress, and we're exposed to male genitalia."
Of course, Lia swam three seasons on the men's swim team at the University of Pennsylvania before transitioning and competing as a woman, where she won an NCAA National Championship in 2021.
While Thomas dominated in the pool, Gaines says it's the locker room situation that bothered her most.
"That to me was worse than the competition piece. Not even probably a year, two years ago, this would've been considered some form of sexual assault. Voyeurism. But now, not even are they now just allowing it to happen, it's almost as if these large organizations are encouraging it to happen."
UPenn Nominates Trans Swimmer Lia Thomas For NCAA Woman Of The Year Award
"Of course, after NCAA Championships, the NCAA nominated then nominated Thomas for NCAA Women of the Year. So we're celebrating this movement."
Her story has been a polarizing one for Americans ... and it's a debate that's been hotly contested.
Gaines is fighting to pass "Fairness in Women's Sports" bills, and she also wants to establish separate locker rooms for transgender athletes. She says she hopes other like-minded women will step up and speak out like she's done, but acknowledges many are scared and worried about retribution.
"People are terrified."

Clemson's Brevin Galloway Yeah, I Hurt My Balls ... But I Got An Undies Deal Out Of It!!!
Clemson men's basketball star Brevin Galloway has turned a horrifying injury into a huge boon for his wallet ... scoring a big NIL deal after he severely hurt his testes last week.
Men's underwear company Shinesty announced Thursday they signed the senior guard to a pact that promises to pay him some cash and give him a whole bunch of undies -- after he suffered a testicular torsion injury that he hilariously described in a social media video as his balls "exploding."
Galloway explained in the deal's announcement that he believed the ailment happened because he was wearing loose boxers. But, now, he says he's confident his new Shinesty Ball Hammock pouch gear will keep him -- and his babymakers -- safe and sound going forward.
"Now I can focus on dropping 3's," he said, "since I know Ball Hammocks won’t drop my 2's."
In the company's announcement, Shinesty officials said Galloway is recovering from his surgery nicely and will "return to the court later this month."
The 25-year-old, who's averaged 10.6 points and 2.5 assists per game this season, has missed the past two games while recovering from the whole ordeal.

12:10 PM PT -- TMZ Sports has confirmed Arlisha Boykins, the junior varsity coach AND varsity head coach were all fired as a result of the incident.
We also spoke with a rep for the Virginia High School League -- the organization that oversees H.S. athletics in the state -- and while the VHSL is aware of the situation, it is letting the two schools involved handle all punishment.
A spokesperson for Churchland tells us school officials were not present for the away game ... and were not made aware of Boykins' participation in the game until the following Monday.
Churchland administrators held a meeting with the parents and students of the JV and varsity teams ... and the athletes for both squads ultimately decided to scrap the season.
Here's a new one -- a 22-year-old high school basketball coach is out of the job after trying to pass as a 13-year-old player in a junior varsity game earlier this month.
According to local reports, Arlisha Boykins -- an assistant for the Churchland H.S. Truckers in Virginia -- impersonated one of her players who was away from the team for a club basketball tournament on Saturday, Jan. 21.
Instead of playing with one less hooper, Boykins apparently took matters into her own hands and suited up as the student-athlete ... and footage obtained by WAVY10 shows the full-grown adult balling out against the competition -- driving the lane for a layup, getting a block and nailing free throws.
The outlet reports Boykins was fired as a result of the stunt ... and the rest of Churchland's JV players and parents elected to opt out of the remainder of the season.
The 13-year-old's father spoke about the situation ... admitting he was "shocked" the coach would do such a thing.
The school is now investigating the incident ... and the student's family is asking for an apology.

Former University of Georgia quarterback Stetson Bennett was arrested Sunday morning for public intoxication in Dallas, TMZ Sports has confirmed.
Dallas PD tells us they responded to a report of a man banging on doors around 6:10 AM this morning. When cops arrived, they located Bennett, 25, and determined he was intoxicated. Bennett was arrested for public intoxication and taken to the City Detention Center.
Bennett, 25, had been training for the NFL Draft in Fort Worth, TX. The 5'10", 190 lb. quarterback is all over the place when it comes to mock drafts ... with some writers and "experts" having him drafted in the early mid-rounds, to not being picked at all.
He's not the prototypical professional QB, but Stetson's one of the most accomplished college signal-callers ever. SB lead his UGA Bulldogs to a perfect 15-0 season, an SEC title, and a National Championship this season (they won back-to-back National titles) ... after starting his college career as a walk-on.
Bennett didn't win the Heisman (Caleb Williams, USC), but was a finalist for the prestigious award this year. He took home the Manning Award, given to the best college QB in America.
Bennett likely would've been in Alabama this week for the Senior Bowl, but turned down an invitation to play in the game, instead reportedly telling game officials he wanted to focus on preparing for the NFL Combine.

Clemson Star Brevin Galloway 'My Balls & Nut Sack Were Exploded!!!' ... Undergoes Emergency Surgery
Well, this is new ... Clemson men's basketball star Brevin Galloway revealed he experienced a different type of groin injury this week -- saying he was rushed to the doctor on Thursday after "my balls and my nut sack were exploded."
For real.
The Tigers' senior guard said the horrifying swelling of his testes occurred after he had finished a morning gym session followed by an afternoon siesta.
"This morning, I went to lift, I came back, I took a nap, I woke up from my nap -- my balls and my nut sack were exploded!" Galloway said in an Instagram video.
BG said he underwent immediate surgery ... and, thankfully, after about three hours under the knife, everything down under is now back to "normal" size.
"I don't know what happened to my balls," he said. "I guess they were trying to be like basketballs, but we made it."
Even though Galloway was all smiles when describing the episode, he later said the testicular torsion he experienced was bad ... and he "couldn't breathe without pain." He called it a 10/10 bad on the pain scale.
Galloway -- who averages 10.6 points and 2.6 assists per game -- is now expected to miss a couple games while recovering ... but he's eyeing Feb. 4 as a potential date for his return.

Duquesne Men's Basketball Game Uber Eats Delivery Was A Prank ... School Says
12:14 PM PT -- The weird scene at the Duquesne men's basketball game was deemed to be a prank after all ... the school said in a statement Thursday afternoon that the whole thing appeared to be "done for internet exposure."
"We determined that the individual was wearing a mic while someone filmed him walk on to the court during active play," school officials told WPXI reporter Jenna Harner.
"While the incident may have seemed funny at the time, and no harm was done, we are mindful that incidents like this can put players and officials at risk."
Bizarre scene in the college basketball world Wednesday night ... an Uber Eats delivery person walked onto the court in the middle of a game -- halting play and leaving everyone in the arena scratching their heads.
The wild moment happened in the second half of the Loyola Chicago vs. Duquesne men's basketball game at UPMC Cooper Fieldhouse in Pittsburgh ... when a man dressed in yellow and holding a bag of McDonald's goodies hit the hardwood right as the Dukes were trying to score a basket.

Broadcast video shows a nearby ref trying his best to get the guy off the floor as the action kept moving forward ... but the man appeared to be oblivious as he attempted to find his food's intended target.
Eventually, the play was stopped -- and the game's broadcasters had to then describe what was happening.
"This guy's in the corner -- was he going to deliver the McDonald's to somebody on the court?!" one announcer said.
"Who's he delivering it to?!" the other said.
Everyone keeps asking me what happened with the door dash guy on the court at tonights game. Here was my angle.

A thread... pic.twitter.com/QMY3nmw2tq
According to video shot on the baseline, the deliverer had actually been asking people on the floor if they had ordered Door Dash. You can see in the clip he was ushered out of the area by an arena staffer, who told him, "You've got to get off the court, man!"
Some speculated it was all part of a prank -- noting the person was wearing a microphone.
Either way, Duquesne head coach Keith Dambrot said afterward it was one of the most surreal scenes he's ever been a part of.
