The eyes have it ... infections, that is ... and now, FINALLY, Bob Costas will take a night off from Olympics coverage so his peepers can heal up.

Costas tapped Matt Lauer to take over the hosting duties from Sochi Tuesday ... saying, "Reluctantly, I was trying to throw a complete game here, but we're going to have to go to the bullpen, and I don't know if you're aware of this tonight, but you're Mariano Rivera, at least tonight."

Bob started his Olympic coverage with what appeared to be pink eye -- it was red and swollen shut -- and after a few days it appeared the other eye came down with the P.E. too.

So, the question remains ... WHO KEEPS FARTING ON BOB'S PILLOW???

Skrillex might wanna cut stage diving out of his repertoire -- TMZ has learned, a fan has just sued the DJ for leaping on top of her from a stage in 2012 ... and giving her a stroke.

Jennifer Fraissl filed the lawsuit, claiming Skrillex -- real name Sonny John Moore -- took a flying leap from his DJ table during a performance at The Belasco in Downtown L.A. in February 2012 ... and landed on top of her.

Fraissl says she was standing near the front when Skrillex beckoned the crowd forward -- making it impossible for her to leave or even protect herself -- and that's when Skrillex jumped from his table ... several feet above the stage.

Fraissl says she suffered several injuries when the DJ landed on her, and later suffered a stroke as a result of the trauma.

She's now suing Skrillex (who's pretty well known for stage diving during his shows) as well as the nightclub -- claiming Belasco failed to prevent Skrillex from acting so recklessly. She's asking for unspecified damages ... medical expenses, loss of income, and more.

Calls to the nightclub and Skrillex's camp weren't returned.

1:43 PM PT -- We found a video of Skrillex stage diving that night. It's unclear if this was the stage dive referenced in the lawsuit ... but it fits Jennifer's description nearly exactly.

UPDATE: 2:23 PM PT ... Shayne's husband, Nik Richie, just went on the record with TMZ, telling us, "Shayne had a life-saving emergency surgery. She is on a ventilator system and is in a sedation-induced coma. Her vital signs are now currently stable."

Tragedy has struck the Lamas family -- Lorenzo Lamas' daughter Shayne (famous for her stint on "The Bachelor") has just lost her baby from a freak pregnancy complication ... and she's in a coma.

TMZ broke the story last month -- Shayne and her husband Nik Richie (founder of TheDirty.com) were pregnant with their second child. Shayne was 16 weeks along.

But Sunday, at 7:35pm, law enforcement sources tell us paramedics were called and rushed to Nik and Shayne's OC home after Shayne collapsed. She was taken to the hospital.

When Shayne arrived, doctors determined she was bleeding internally around her uterus and the situation was dire. Doctors were stumped and brought in specialists to figure out what was causing the bleeding.

Shayne lost the unborn child during surgery.

We're told Shayne is currently in a coma and not breathing on her own. Doctors are optimistic about her recovery.

Nik and Shayne's dad Lorenzo are by her side.

Honey Boo Boo's sister Pumpkin has been rushed back to the ER after complications from a serious car accident last month ... TMZ has learned.

13-year-old Pumpkin was taken to a Georgia hospital last night -- and sources tell us, it's because she's still experiencing serious pain in the wake of the January 6th car accident that injured several members of her family.

We're told Pumpkin has been complaining of bad headaches, neck pain, and nausea -- all signs of head trauma. A rep for TLC tells us, she was admitted to the hospital for a battery of tests.

As we reported, Honey Boo Boo, Mama June, Pumpkin and Jessica were all passengers in the car, which was driven by Sugar Bear. Police later determined Sugar Bear was at fault.

"South Beach Tow" star Robert Ashenoff underwent spinal fusion surgery and he plans to use this picture to pry a fortune from producers who he claims are responsible.

TMZ broke the story ... Ashenoff will sue the production company which is owned by Jennifer Lopez -- claiming honchos ordered co-star Larry Diaz to surprise attack him on September 8, 2012 ... all as a ploy to goose ratings.

Ashenoff believes the scripts and raw footage will make his lawsuit airtight ... so he wants a judge to force producers to hand over the goods.

Ashenoff says he's undergone spinal surgery because his injuries were so bad -- and we're told the 13-hour procedure was gruesome -- 16 screws in his neck. Total hospital Bill: $800,000.

We know the production company insists Diaz didn't intend to harm Ashenoff (think WWE style) ... he just went overboard and the elder Ashenoff took a weird tumble, seriously injuring his spine.

Producers decided against airing the footage -- they were probably scared of a lawsuit. Ashenoff later appeared on the show wearing a neck brace ... which the show claimed was the result of a car accident.

We're told producers have since decided to 86 Ashenoff from future episodes.

DON'T YOU EVER TALK ABOUT RICHARD SHERMAN'S ANKLE ... 'cause less than one week after injuring it in the Super Bowl, the Seahawks star was partying hard on it during a rager in Vegas!!!

Sherman -- along with fellow Legion of Boomer Kam Chancellor -- hit up the Chateau nightclub in Sin City Saturday night ... and cut loose, despite suffering a high ankle sprain during the Feb. 2nd victory.

Seemed like Sherman was feeling "no pain" that night -- we're guessing the gang of hot chicks following him around that night makes a man forget about a freak joint injury.

Meanwhile, Peyton Manning is still sad somewhere ..

Bruce Jenner is going through some radical physical changes that could be fundamentally altering who he is ... yet he is telling his family NOTHING.

TMZ broke the story ... Bruce went to a Beverly Hills plastic surgeon and scheduled surgery for a laryngeal shave -- which smooths out the Adam's Apple. He told TMZ, "I just never liked my trachea. "He also wanted a smaller nose. Bruce cancelled with the Bev Hills doc and subsequently got the procedure somewhere else.

Bruce has gone through other changes as well, including growing out his hair and nails in a pronounced way. And he seems to be growing breasts.

Under the category -- the 800 pound elephant in the room -- Bruce is saying nothing to his family about the changes ... some of which are markers of gender reassignment.

Bruce told TMZ he's not becoming a woman, which means he's telling us more than he's telling his brood. We're told Kim is completely in the dark -- he says nothing to her. And she's not alone.

A well-placed source on "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" tells TMZ .... no one on the show discusses the changes in Bruce ... and there are no plans to address them on the show.

Clint Eastwood didn't know jack about CPR when he noticed a man who appeared to be choking to death ... but Dirty Harry took care of business ... repeatedly lifting the man in the air and squeezing the cheese out of him.

Clint was at a golf event in Monterey, CA at a golf tourney this week when he noticed the tournament director -- Steven John -- choking and not able to breathe.

Clint told a local paper "I looked in his eyes and saw that look of panic people have when they see their life passing before their eyes. It looked bad."

Now here's what's awesome. Clint -- who had never performed the Heimlich in his 82 years of life -- came up from behind the 202 lb man, bearhugged him and threw him up in the air 3 times.

A guy who claims he was injured on Jennifer Lopez' show "South Beach Tow" has gone to court ... demanding raw footage he believes will prove the whole thing is fake ... except for the violence that left him badly injured.

According to court docs, Robert Ashenoff Sr. claims he suffered serious spinal injuries on set back in September 2012 -- after co-star Larry Diaz jumped on him out of nowhere -- and he had to undergo spinal fusion surgery.

If it was an accident, that would be one thing -- but Robert claims the so-called reality show is actually SCRIPTED ... and producers instructed Larry to jump on Robert without his knowledge.

Robert -- who sported a neck brace on the show after the accident -- wants to sue ... but first, he's asking the court to force producers to turn over all scripts and raw footage from that day ... in order to prove he was set up.

Leon Kennedy -- who co-starred in a real life sex tape with legendary sportscaster Jayne Kennedy back in the '80s -- is suing the people behind Ebony magazine claiming they falsely ID'd him as the man who leaked the infamous XXX footage to the media.

In case you're unaware, the sex tape featuring Leon and Jayne is widely considered the grand-daddy of the celebrity sex tape ... since Leon was a big actor at the time (starring in a ton of blaxploitation flicks) and Jayne was a commentator on "NFL Today."

They divorced in the early '80s ... and years later, the sex tape mysteriously surfaced (you can still find the footage online ... it's super grainy).

Recently, Ebony magazine published an article in which Leon claims he was wrongly fingered as the source of the leak.

Leon -- now an ordained minister who preaches around the globe -- is furious claiming the mag straight up lied when it wrote that he "viciously leaked" the tape. He insists the tape was stolen by an unidentified 3rd party and distributed without consent from Leon or Jayne.

Now, Leon is now gearing up to file a lawsuit against Ebony ... and he's out for blood.

Leon says the story has damaged him both professionally and emotionally -- and now, he wants more than $1 MILLION to make things right ... including $4,546.05 for out of pocket medical expenses caused by stress and anxiety from the article.

Selena Gomez went to rehab last month ... and sources connected with the singer say she blames Justin Bieber for her predicament.

We've learned Gomez went to The Meadows in Arizona for 2 weeks of treatment.

Sources say Selena went for a combination of problems, including alcohol, pot and prescription Ambien. She's also addicted to Justin Bieber.

We're told Selena's decision was largely based on "that crazy boy" -- aka Bieber. Selena blames a lot of her problems on the excesses she was exposed to by being around Bieber and his buddies.

Sources close to Gomez tell us ... people in Selena's camp went ballistic when they found out she was hanging out again with Justin ... and saw photos of her joyriding with him on Segways. We're told that was the final straw -- she checked into rehab immediately after that.

The 2-week treatment was part of a program called DAWN at The Meadows ... specifically designed for people between 18 and 26. DAWN specializes in substance dependence, trauma, family dynamics, mental health and relapse prevention.

We're told Selena is not getting outpatient help now nor is she in therapy.

Ke$ha is taking her rehab so seriously ... she's decided to postpone her March and April tour dates because she needs more time to deal with her eating disorder.

Ke$ha's people tell us she decided to push back her shows so she can "remain committed" to her ongoing treatment.

We broke the story ... Ke$ha checked herself into Timberline Knolls treatment facility near Chicago ... the same place that treated Demi Lovato.

Ke$ha originally said she was undergoing a 30-day treatment program. She's now been in for 34 days.

Chief Keef screwed over breast cancer patients by bailing out of a Cleveland charity concert hours before he was supposed to go on stage ... according to a lawsuit obtained by TMZ.

In court docs, Kim Productions claims it paid Keef a $15K deposit ... to perform at the RapCure cancer benefit last June. The balance -- $10K -- was supposed to be paid at the event.

Kim Prods. claims the day before the event, Keef demanded a $2,500 advance to cover travel expenses. Kim says the money was wired ... and Keef's agent claimed Keef was on his way.

According to the lawsuit ... Keef failed to show up on time ... so the concert was cancelled and ticket holders got their money back ... which meant the charity ended up in the red.

The company is suing for $26K -- the money it paid to Keef plus the amount spent on the theater, lights, equipment, advertising and the refunded tickets.

6:10 AM PT -- Police say the driver of the white truck was arrested and booked for DUI.

Dog the Bounty Hunter and his wife just got wrecked in a nasty multi-car hit and run accident in Hawaii ... TMZ has learned.

According to witnesses ... Dog and Beth Chapman were in a black GMC Yukon on Highway 1 when they got smashed in the rear by a white Chevy truck -- and ended up in a ditch off the shoulder of the road.

We're told a third vehicle allegedly started the chain reaction accident -- but that driver fled the scene after the truck hit Dog and Beth's SUV.

We're told ambulances are on the way ... as there may be some minor injuries. Dog and Beth seem to be fine at this point.

The other black SUV in the photo was also part of Dog's entourage ... carrying several of his family members ... but it was NOT involved in the wreck.

Dog is still on the scene ... and we're told police put the driver of the white truck in handcuffs. It's unclear at this point why he would be arrested.

Kanye West will NOT be prosecuted for beating up a guy in the waiting room of a Beverely Hills chiropractor ... TMZ has learned.

The L.A. County D.A. has REJECTED the case. As for why ... the D.A. gave several reasons:

-- A civil compromise has been reached. TMZ broke the story, Kanye agreed to pay more than $250,000 to the 18-year-old.

-- The victim was not hurt. The D.A. says "No significant injuries were documented."

-- The victim became uncooperative after the civil compromise, and would not speak with prosecutors.

The conclusion of the D.A. ... "Prosecution is accordingly declined due to Victim unavailability."

Former middleweight boxing champ Kelly Pavlik was rushed to a hospital today after PASSING OUT in the middle of a court hearing in Ohio ... TMZ Sports has learned.

Courtroom sources tell us ... Pavlik was in court to face charges in a theft case (stemming from an incident where he allegedly stiffed a cab driver) ... when he suddenly collapsed.

We're told 31-year-old Pavlick was loaded up onto a stretcher and taken to an ambulance ... which transported him to a nearby hospital.

Sources say Pavlick was awake and alert inside the ambulance.

Officials have not released any information about what caused Pavlick to collapse ... but it's known he suffers from seizures -- which played a large role in his retirement from boxing.
