Kim Kardashian is a master at spin ... showing the world she protects her kid in airports and on airplanes.

Kim showed up to LAX last night with North West, and displayed her baby in grandiose fashion, asking photogs for space because the kid was taking a snooze.

We're guessing it's not coincidental ... just last week North West flew coast-to-coast without Kim ... who took an earlier flight home. North was in the care of an entourage of hired help, but people criticized mommy for not taking the same plane.

Anyone who was banging Jennifer Lopez would shout it from the rooftops … unfortunately Maksim Chmerkovskiy is not just anyone.

Our photog tried to confirm the rumors the two dancers were knocking boots, but Maksim didn't bite. Well, kinda ...

The transsexual who claims she had an affair with Kendra Wilkinson's husband Hank Baskett called the cops on reporters who she claims are now stalking and harassing her.

Cops came to Ava London's L.A. condo late last week to physically remove members of the media who she claims were trying to drum her out of her unit by banging at her door. She says the reporters were trying to buy surveillance video from the building manager, to see if Baskett ever showed up.

London's lawyer also claims some outlets are making up stories. He cites In Touch magazine, which claims to have interviewed London. The lawyer said that never happened and is threatening to sue.

Baskett has been mum.

"Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta" star Stevie J thought his only legal woe was back child support during a court appearance Monday ... but his problems now include weed and coke.

Stevie was in court in Manhattan to surrender on charges he owes his baby mama more than a million dollars in back child support.

It should have been simple ... post the $25,000 and then walk out. Turns out Stevie was drug tested when he was picked up in Atlanta earlier this month and he flunked bad.

So the judge allowed Stevie to post bail ... but added a condition that he submit to random drug testing.

The rich businessman accused of beating the star of "Beverly Hills Nannies" has been found guilty of assault ... but he WON'T be going to jail.

TMZ broke the story ... Ari Bellamar claimed she was on a date with Entropic CEO Patrick Henry at his Utah cabin when he flew into a drunken rage and threw her against a wall. Bellamar said she tried to call 911 ... but Henry smashed her phone.

Henry could have faced more than a year in jail ... but the judge fined him $400 and ordered him to complete 40 hours of community service. He also has to undergo alcohol and anger management assessment.

Kourtney Kardashian flew back to L.A. for North West's Kidchella birthday bash ... and we're told she left Scott Disick behind to teach him a lesson ... but it didn't work.

Disick didn't stew over the snub -- he had a belated birthday party at 1Oak in the Hamptons where he sprayed champagne on fellow partygoers.

We're told Kourtney believed Scott would feel the burn ... especially since North's party was thrown in Scott and Kourtney's backyard. The tension revolves around Scott's propensity for partying and leaving the family in the dust.

Kourtney gave Scott's plane ticket to a nanny ... again, a not-so-subtle insult that seemed lost on Scott.

North West celebrated her 1st birthday with a pint-sized Coachella bash ... complete with multiple stages for various performers, glow sticks and moccasins ... you get the references, right?

The shindig -- which Kim Kardashian and Kanye West called Kidchella -- was held in Kourtney Kardashian's backyard and it was filled with festival-goers.

Guests were greeted with tie-dyed wrist bands and then roamed the grounds where they entered various booths -- set up like teepees -- and were treated to hair-braiding, face-painting, tie-dyed T-shirts and bandanas.

But wait ... there's more. The 2 stages featured performances by Jaden Smith and Kylie Jenner.

And there were Churro stands, snow cones and cotton candy machines.

As for the party favors -- custom Yeezus T-Shirts.

"Storage Wars" star Dan Dotson made an important life decision after suffering a double brain aneurysm Monday ... he's giving up on smoking cigarettes for good.

Laura Dotson tells TMZ her husband immediately decided to quit smoking after he woke up from a successful surgery on Wednesday -- because doctors said it would greatly reduce the risk of a repeat incident.

We're told Dan's excited to finally be smoke-free -- he's been puffing for 40 years -- and his 16-year-old son was so inspired by the move, he also pledged to focus on living healthier.

He may be a racist ... and an ahole ... but when it comes to dollars and cents, disgraced Clippers owner Donald Sterling is a LEGEND in the investment community ... so says "Shark Tank" star Kevin O'Leary.

Mr. Wonderful was out in L.A. last night when we asked about the risks of investing in pro sports franchises ... and that's when the financial genius brought up Sterling.

"I think sports teams are based on losing money while you own them and hoping somebody else pays a lot more later. That has certainly been the truth. I mean the Sterling situation really accentuates that."

He continued, "[Sterling] put $12 million in play and now [the Clippers are] worth $2 billion? Very. Smart. Man."

The double brain aneurysm emergency that almost killed "Storage Wars" star Dan Dotson has been chronicled for all to see ... we're told producers actually filmed the scary surgery.

Laura Dotson tells TMZ ... producers rushed to the hospital to film the procedure-- and it will more than likely be featured on Season 6.

We're told Dan's blood pressure has returned to normal levels ... and he suffered no paralysis ... good news, because doctors feared partial facial paralysis.

Mercedes "MJ" Javid swears she hasn't been photoshopped, she really did drop 20 lbs., and she tells TMZ ... she did it the old fashioned way -- lots and lots of sex ... and some traditional exercise.

The "Shahs of Sunset" star says she's seen all the haters accusing her of doctoring the pics from a recent swimsuit shoot -- but says her real secret is simply banging the weight away.

Best of all ... MJ claims the more pounds she shed, the more sex she had -- and the more sex she had, the more calories she burned. The least vicious cycle ever!

She admits cutting back on hard partying and late-night boozing definitely helped too ... along with hiking, biking, tennis and dodge ball -- but says she's definitely sticking to her sex diet. She says bluntly, "I'm too pretty to be fat!"

Scott Disick has taken partying to a whole new level ... and this time its going to line his pockets in a big way.

We found out ... Disick agreed to host a patriotic booze fest July 5th at Harrah's Pool After Dark in Atlantic City ... and will rake in around $50K.

We're told Scott signed the deal last week ... around the same time Kourtney threw him out of their Hamptons house following a nuclear argument over his propensity for partying.

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West's little girl flew first class from NYC to LA and got chauffeur driven in in a Maserati AND a Porsche -- and she did it all by herself. It's official, North is the ballinest baby ever!

Unless, she's really sad and misses Mommy and Daddy.

Kim Kardashian's 1-year-old baby is a full-on baller, flying 1st class from NYC to L.A. with nannies, an assistant, Kanye's aunt, a nurse and a security guard ... then whisked off the plane by Delta personnel and escorted home in a chauffeur-driven Porsche Panamera waiting for her on the tarmac.

North West did not fly with her mom or dad. Kanye was in France and flew to Miami. Kim flew to New York with North but then left for France for a day ... so mom and daughter flew back home separately.

And no Ubers for North. She rolled up to JFK in Kanye's Maserati and was greeted by her people.

"Storage Wars" auctioneer Dan Dotson was rushed to a hospital in Palm Springs Monday afternoon after suffering a double brain aneurysm ... and doctors said he only had a slight chance of survival.

Dotson's wife Laura Dotson tells TMZ ... Dan woke Monday morning around 1 AM asking weird questions in his sleep -- and when he got up again around 7:30 AM things took a turn for the worse.

Laura says Dan complained about having double vision and not feeling right -- so he went back to sleep. Dan got up a few hours later to take a shower, got out, and collapsed.

Laura says he turned blue, so she worked with an 911 operator to administer CPR.

Laura says Dan actually suffered two aneurysms -- one behind the eye and another in his neck the size of an apricot. He was given a 4%-20% chance of survival.

Shahs of Sunset star, Mercedes "MJ" Javid painted on a bathing suit for a rooftop photo shoot in L.A. this week ... and it looks like she's dropped a bunch of weight. LOOKS like it anyway.

MJ's been pretty open about her weight issues -- and last year claimed she was shedding pounds without really trying. She never revealed a number, but this is pretty strong evidence.

But here's the issue -- this is Hollywood where everything isn't always as it seems.
