Irv Gotti I Pulled a Gun on Daughter's BF ... But in a LOL Kinda Way!!!

TRUST AND RESPECT
TMZ.com

Irv Gotti is standing by his take on T.I.'s controversial parenting choices, and the Murder Inc. honcho has a confession of his own ... involving HIS daughter's boyfriend and a handgun!!!

Irv was on "TMZ Live" Monday and revealed how his birds and bees chat went with his daughter, Angie, and more importantly ... with her BF. Now, mind you, Irv says this was all in good fun, but still ... imagine being the guy in this situation.

The way Irv tells it ... he was simply reminding the young man about the importance of always being respectful when he decided to emphasize the point by pulling out a gun. Again ... just jokes. Haha?

Well, sounds like he made his point -- Irv says the guy's been nothing but respectful towards his Angie during their 8 years together, and he also has a great relationship with Irv.

Huh, wonder why.

Dad's in charge
Ladies Like Us with Nazanin and Nadia

Remember, Irv told us he fully respects T.I.'s right to parent how he chooses -- but also said going to gynecologist appointments with his daughter is not what he would do. Actually, you gotta see Irv describe his honest approach to the sex talk.

BTW ... Angie and her BF are featured on dad's new WEtv show, "Growing Up Hip Hop: New York."

Oh, and Irv's got some extra advice for all the dads out there worried about their little girls.

The cop agreed ... and when Ross eventually told him he had the stuff in his ride because he and some friends had brought weed to the gun range the day before, the officer scolded him.

NFL's Alex Collins Arrest Video Shows Jug Of Weed & Gun ... In Crashed Corvette

BUSTED
TMZSports.com

Alex Collins had a massive jug of weed and a gun on the floorboards of his crashed Corvette ... and police video obtained by TMZ Sports shows cops making the shocking find and arresting the NFL RB for it.

Collins skidded off the road at around 4:30 a.m. near the Baltimore Ravens' practice facility in Owings Mills, Maryland when he was a member of the team back in March 2019.

In video we obtained ... you can see a cop pulling up to the scene shortly after the crash -- and it's pretty wild.

Collins' pricey ride -- which looks like the Batmobile -- is rammed against some trees and stuck in a snowy ditch ... and Collins appears to be asleep when the officer opens the passenger door.

Collins explains to the cop he had crashed earlier in the morning and was waiting for a tow ... but after Alex had some issues with expired tags, things got dicey for the 25-year-old.

The cop hits him with a ticket, but explains he smells a strong odor of marijuana from the car as well ... and asks him straight-up how much weed he has in the vehicle.

The running back claims he doesn't know ... saying it belonged to his buddy, Tykheem "TJ" Dunaway, who was a passenger in the car earlier but had walked home instead of sticking around.

TJ eventually showed back up to the scene ... and after the cop discovered the jug of weed and a firearm in the car -- he put Collins in cuffs and questioned TJ.

TJ told the cop the weed definitely belonged to Collins ... saying, "It's his. I didn't know it was in the car until it crashed because we were coming from a party."

Eventually, both dudes were arrested for possession of the weed ... while Collins was also booked for having a handgun in his vehicle.

Collins fought the case in court for months ... but in October, he agreed to a plea deal in which he pled guilty to two misdemeanor charges of possession of a handgun and possession of weed.

In exchange, Collins received probation and a fine ... and had his felony charges dropped.

Collins -- who was cut by the Ravens immediately after the arrest -- is still looking for a team this season ... despite being hit with a 3-game suspension by the NFL over the incident.

The former Seattle Seahawks fifth-round pick has 1,509 rushing yards and 14 rushing TDs in his 3-year NFL career.

El Chapo's Wife Negotiating to Join VH1's 'Cartel Crew' ... Meets with Griselda Blanco's Son!!!

El Chapo's wife is in talks to do something really shocking, and that's talk ... on reality TV about the family business while El Chapo rots in prison!!!

Emma Coronel Aispuro was recently in Miami for a sit down with none other than cocaine godmother Griselda Blanco's youngest son, Michael Blanco. It was a business meeting, but not THAT kinda biz -- sources familiar with negotiations tell us Emma and Michael were talking about her joining the cast of VH1's "Cartel Crew."

TMZ got these pics of Emma aboard a yacht -- note the bodyguards in black watching over her -- as Michael and his baby mama, Marie, pulled up on their boat for the face-to-face meeting. Michael is already one of the stars of 'Cartel' ... which is currently in its second season.

The scene looked kinda "Scarface"-y ... which, we're guessing, is exactly why VH1's trying to convince Emma to come aboard. Drama sells.

What's crazy about this deal is the fact that El Chapo's gang -- the Sinaloa Cartel in Mexico -- is still VERY much active and dangerous, even though he's serving out a life sentence in federal prison.

Just a couple weeks ago, they forced Mexican authorities to release Chapo's son by taking soldiers and cops hostage. Point is, Emma's past is still alive and kicking ... so, you gotta wonder how much she could safely say on the show.

Our sources say the deal on the table is for Emma to join the cast of 'Cartel' and begin shooting ASAP. Or maybe we should say recording ASAP, in this case.

Rapper Blueface Off the Hook ... In Felony Gun Case

UPDATE

3:57 PM PT -- Blueface's attorney, Alex Kessel, tells TMZ, "Video evidence demonstrated the police misidentified Blueface possessing a gun. Justice prevails through video evidence, a fair judge and a bulldog attorney. A rapper prevails on the merits of the case, not his celebrity status."

Rapper Blueface can breathe a sigh of relief ... he will NOT be prosecuted in his felony gun case ... TMZ has learned.

Blueface appeared in an L.A. court Wednesday afternoon where a court official tells us his case was tossed due to insufficient evidence. That's obviously great news for the rapper ... who had his suspicions about the case from the get-go.

02/02/2019
BUSTED

TMZ broke the story ... Blueface claimed the LAPD targeted him because he's black. LAPD had initially said they were in DTLA patrolling an area ravaged by burglaries and they were there to offer protection. The concern, cops said, was that there were robberies in that area by gang members and cops were worried the rappers were easy targets.

LAPD had said Blueface and several others scattered and tossed their guns when they saw cops arriving ... but Blueface from the start called BS. His lawyer said Blueface was never in possession of a firearm.

Bottom line ... it's now case closed.

According to court documents obtained by Action News in Philly, a man identified as Corbyn Nyemah arrived to Cox's home -- baseball bat in hand -- looking for his ex-girlfriend, who he believed was inside.

Nyemah allegedly used the bat to attack the woman's car -- and also threw rocks at Cox's front door. Cox says the man tried to force his way into the home multiple times, so he grabbed his shotgun and called police.

He's due in court later this month.

It's not the first time Cox has been caught up in a love triangle -- he was previously sued by a man who claims Cox hooked up with his wife while they were still together.

The man went after Cox for alienation of affection, claiming the NFL star is essentially a homewrecker.

Cox denied any wrongdoing claiming the he didn't force the woman to cheat on her husband -- and their relationship was mutual.

UPDATE

8:56 AM PT -- 10/18 -- Gunmen for the Sinaloa Cartel reportedly held 8 soldiers and 1 police officer hostage demanding the release of El Chapo's son. The government, according to the Wall Street Journal, gave in.

UPDATE

6:30 AM PT -- 10/18 -- El Chapo's son, Ovidio, was reportedly detained, then released in order to protect other lives, as the gunfire raged on between security forces and the suspected members of the Sinaloa Cartel.

One of El Chapo's sons is now being held by Mexican authorities, and a massive shootout is going down in the city where the drug kingpin's offspring was arrested.

According to multiple reports, El Chapo's son Ovidio Guzmán López has been taken into custody in the Mexican city of Culiacán ... and masked gunmen are now trading fire with Mexican security forces.

Ovidio is said to be an active member of El Chapo's Sinaloa Cartel. He's reportedly facing charges in the U.S. for conspiracy to traffic cocaine, marijuana and methamphetamine.

In video posted on social media by journalists in Mexico, you can see a massive police presence carrying out an apparent operation to bring in Ovidio. There are tons of armed officers on foot, plus trucks and jeeps with mounted weapons following behind.

Folks in the city are also sharing terrifying footage of the aftermath of the arrest ... men riding around the city with machine guns who are NOT part of the Mexican army.

As we've reported ... El Chapo was sentenced to life in prison in the U.S. back in July, after being found guilty for engaging in a continuing criminal enterprise, conspiracy to launder narcotics proceeds, international distribution of cocaine, heroin, marijuana and other drugs and use of firearms.

NFL's Darius Philon Alleged Gun Pulling Caught On Surveillance Video ... In Strip Club Parking Lot

THE SURVEILLANCE VIDEO
TMZSports.com

TMZ Sports has obtained surveillance video of the moment NFL D-lineman Darius Philon allegedly pulled a gun on women in a strip club parking lot ... but it's unclear if the guy ever committed the crime.

Earlier this summer ... a woman accused Philon -- a 25-year-old who was playing for the Arizona Cardinals at the time -- of threatening to shoot her and her friend in a strip club parking lot.

In the police report, obtained by TMZ Sports, the woman alleges that on May 17 ... she was dancing at V-Live in Phoenix, Arizona when Darius asked her and her friend to come to his car so he could pay her.

She alleges that when they got to his car ... he pulled a gun on them, pointed it at their chests and said, "Which one of you wants a bullet?"

She says when she told him to put the gun down and went to the other side of her friend ... he pointed the gun at her a second time.

In the surveillance video ... you can see Philon clearly speaking with the two women -- but it's difficult to tell if he ever brandishes a weapon.

Cops launched an investigation ... and eventually arrested Philon on Aug. 9 -- booking the 6-foot-1, 286-pounder for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

A day later, the Cardinals cut Philon.

But, Philon is still waiting to receive formal charges in the case ... a rep for the Maricopa County Attorney's office tells us, "We received the case for review less than a week ago and are currently reviewing it for a charging decision."

Philon -- who's still an NFL free agent searching for another team -- signed a 2-year deal worth $10 MILLION with the Cards just months before his August release.

In his 4-year career, Philon has started 19 games and piled up 9.5 sacks.

Beto O'Rourke Can't Blame 'Joker' for Gun Violence ... Blame 'Weapons of War' in Americans' Hands

DON'T BLAME HOLLYWOOD
TMZ.com

Beto O'Rourke believes we have a gun problem in the U.S. -- it's as simple as that -- and deflecting blame onto movies, video games and mental health is part of the crisis.

The presidential hopeful and major proponent for gun control is in L.A. Friday as concern and controversy swirls around the release of "Joker" ... so we asked him about it.

Beto tells TMZ he hasn't seen the film yet to speak on whether he thinks it's dangerous, but he's met with families of victims of the 2012 Aurora, CO mass shooting ... and supports and understands their issues with it.

The Texas politician says we all have a responsibility to address gun violence, but people keep trying to go about it the wrong way ... when the problem is clear as day.

Beto says bluntly ... Americans have too many guns and it's too easy to buy "weapons of war" and use them against one another -- even without a background check.

He says that problem has nothing to do with violent movies or TV shows, or mental healthcare access challenges, because as he points out ... other countries have those too.

Translation -- Hollywood's not causing gun violence ... guns are.

NFL's Jonathan Martin Cuts Deal In Gun & Knife Threats Case

UPDATE

1:05 PM PT -- A spokesperson for the L.A. District Attorney's Office tells us ... "Today, a judge granted Jonathan Martin mental health diversion without objection for two years that includes outpatient, weekly individual psychotherapy sessions, weekly alcohol counseling and bimonthly consultation with a licensed psychiatrist."

UPDATE

"If he complies with those terms and otherwise does not commit any other significant criminal offenses, the court will dismiss the charges."

Jonathan Martin just cut a deal with L.A. prosecutors ... and now, the ex-NFL O-lineman could get out of his gun and knife threats case without spending more time behind bars.

Martin -- who famously alleged he was bullied by ex-teammate Richie Incognito during their playing days with the Dolphins -- made some scary comments on social media that led to his arrest in 2018.

In an Instagram post, Martin threw up a picture of a shotgun with shells ... and wrote, "When you're a bully victim & a coward your options are suicide, or revenge."

Hours later ... cops say they found Martin with a cache of weapons including a loaded shotgun, knife and an ax -- and say he had been threatening classmates for years.

Prosecutors eventually hit Martin with 5 charges ... 4 counts of making criminal threats and 1 count of possessing a loaded firearm.

But, TMZ Sports has learned Martin cut a deal in court Friday ... and will enter a 2-year pre-trial diversion program.

The specifics about Martin's program are unclear -- but typically, when offenders complete a diversion program, the charges are wiped from their record.

Typical diversion programs include completing treatment courses, counseling, community service, restitution, etc.

30-year-old Martin started 32 games in his NFL career before ultimately getting cut from the Panthers in 2016.

The singer debuted a new tat over the weekend, which is plastered right on the side of his mug ... taking up a massive section, which almost runs up to his forehead. The tattoo depicts what looks a lot like Medusa -- the Greek monster with snakes for hair.

Waiting for your permission to load the Instagram Media.

He also has the word "Love" scribbled across the top of his cheek -- very Post Malone-like, right? It's unclear who commissioned the new ink, but Aaron documented a good portion of the process on his social media ... and seemed to be in good spirits about it.

'Joker' Opening Weekend Leave Your Clown Gear at Home ... Landmark Theatres Ban Cosplay

"Joker" fans hoping to dress up like the notorious Batman villain for screenings will need an change of clothes, or they'll be turned away -- at least at Landmark Theatres.

In the name of safety and security, several big theater chains have already enacted policies that prohibit moviegoers from donning masks and face paint or bringing props, but for the opening weekend of Todd Phillips' "Joker" film ... Landmark is going a step further.

CEO Ted Mundorff tells TMZ ... "We are not allowing costumes, face painting or masks by either our employees or guests," specifically for the release of the movie starring Joaquin Phoenix.

Landmark operates over 50 theaters in 27 markets in the U.S.

Regal Cinemas tells us it doesn't think the "Joker" poses any specific risk because, "We do not believe the content or the existence of any movie is a cause or a signal for violence."

That being said, a Regal rep added their theaters are in regular contact with law enforcement year-round so they always have info to help make whatever security assessments are necessary.

This all comes amid backlash against "Joker," with critics saying the film has a dangerous message ... and the potential to incite troubled individuals to commit mass shootings.
