NBA's Domantas Sabonis Suspended By NBA For Tonight's Game ... After Bumping Referee

Published

The Sacramento Kings will be without Domantas Sabonis for one game ... 'cause their newly acquired center has been suspended for making contact with a referee during Monday's game against the Knicks.

The NBA's President of League Operations, Byron Spruell, announced the punishment on Wednesday ... saying Sabonis was suspended "for aggressively confronting and making contact with a game official."

During the tilt against New York, Domantas was hit with a technical foul for unsportsmanlike conduct after he disagreed with a foul called by one of the refs.

That's when Sabonis became irate, and according to the NBA's official statement, "reacted demonstratively again in the vicinity of the game official, and approached and bumped the official in a hostile manner."

In the video, you can see Domantas clearly lose his cool ... and does seem to make contact with the official, albeit minimal.

Sabonis received a second technical foul and was ultimately ejected from the game ... so he was unable to see the Kings squander their double-digit lead to the Knicks.

The league said Sabonis will serve his suspension Wednesday night ... when the Kings host the Denver Nuggets at Golden 1 Center.

NBA's JaVale McGee Fan Ejected ... After Calling NBAer 'Bitch'

Published | Updated

In the latest edition of NBA Players vs. Fans -- JaVale McGee got in a heated back-and-forth with a spectator in Orlando on Tuesday night ... after the guy unleashed a series of F-bombs and called him a "bitch."

The man -- we're assuming he's not a Suns fan -- was sitting close to the Phoenix bench as he started jawing at McGee.

In the clip, you can see Suns center Bismack Biyombo motioning to have the guy thrown out of the arena ... and it's because he seemingly continuously yelled "f*** you" at McGee during a timeout.

If you listen closely, it appears another fan says, "Way to go, JaVale, you f***ing bitch," in the background of the video.

Building staff eventually made its way over to the guy who got into it with McGee ... and let him know he had to leave the game -- which pissed him off even more.

"F*** you, bitch," the guy said to McGee, who could clearly hear him.

Another fan appears to ask, "Aye, JaVale, you called me a p***y?" in the video as well ... although it's unclear if the two men were together or if it was a completely different interaction.

Of course, McGee isn't the only hooper to get a fan kicked out of a game this season --Lakers stars LeBron James and Carmelo Anthony also had fans booted for taking it too far.

Bryant Vs. Wagner Topless Fan Throws Drink On Man ... In Wild Skirmish At Game

Published

The NEC men's hoops championship game on Tuesday night turned ugly ... after a shirtless fan escalated a huge skirmish in the stands by throwing his drink on another man.

The wild scene all went down with just minutes left in the Bryant vs. Wagner tilt in Rhode Island ... when Bryant fans appeared to get into it with Wagner supporters.

Broadcast cameras captured the scuffle in the seats ... and you can see, punches were thrown -- before a fan with no top on chucked the remnants of his drink at another man.

It looked like a couple Wagner players tried to jump into the fracas too -- but fortunately, it seemed they were all held back before they could get physically involved.

The game was delayed roughly half an hour over the melee ... and one Wagner player, guard Will Martinez, was ejected after video replays showed he was trying to race into the stands.

Cooler heads ultimately prevailed ... and Bryant went on to win the game easily, securing the championship and locking down its first-ever trip to this month's NCAA tournament.

"I don't know how it started, why it started, what took place," Bryant coach Jared Grasso told reporters following the game and the fight. "Thankfully our guys were not a part of it."

NFL Star Calvin Ridley Suspended Entire 2022 Season ... For Betting On Games

Published | Updated
UPDATE

1:21 PM PT -- According to NFL reporter Albert Breer, Ridley did bet on the Falcons -- but did not bet against them.

UPDATE

Breer added that Ridley placed the wagers between Nov. 23 to Nov. 28 -- over two weeks after he was placed on the NFI list.

UPDATE

1:03 PM PT -- Ridley just tweeted about the ban, admitting he bet $1,500 ... though he insisted he does not "have a gambling problem."

UPDATE

The NFL has just banned Atlanta Falcons star receiver Calvin Ridley for the ENTIRE 2022 season ... after investigators say he bet on games.

The league just announced the suspension ... saying in a statement Ridley bet on NFL games in the 2021 season "during a five-day period in late November."

Ridley was away from the team on the non-football illness list at the time of the betting, the NFL said in a statement.

The league added that an investigation showed there were no signs "that any game was compromised in any way."

"There is nothing more fundamental to the NFL's success -- and to the reputation of everyone associated with our league -- than upholding the integrity of the game," commissioner Roger Goodell said in a letter to Ridley notifying him of the ban.

"This is the responsibility of every player, coach, owner, game official, and anyone else employed in the league. Your actions put the integrity of the game at risk, threatened to damage public confidence in professional football, and potentially undermined the reputations of your fellow players throughout the NFL."

Goodell continued, "For decades, gambling on NFL games has been considered among the most significant violations of league policy warranting the most substantial sanction. In your case, I acknowledge and commend you for your promptly reporting for an interview, and for admitting your actions."

The NFL noted Ridley can apply for reinstatement in February 2023.

Ridley is widely regarded as one of the best receivers in the NFL -- piling up 3,342 receiving yards in just 49 games. He missed most of last season while battling mental health issues.

Kanye West's GF Chaney Jones I'm Not Just a Kim K Look-Alike ... Here's a Bit About Me!!!

Published | Updated

Kanye West's girlfriend, Chaney Jones, has been getting compared to Kim Kardashian -- and for good reason -- but it seems she wants the world to know ... she's her own woman.

Obviously, that goes without saying ... but it seems CJ wanted to hit the point home this weekend with an "about me" section that probably helps people out ... because, frankly, before this -- nobody knew much about her at all. She just sorta splashed onto the scene.

In since-deleted IG posts -- which were captured and shared before she got rid of them -- Chaney threw up 5 facts that described her ... and depending on how you read this, some of these points may or may not be shade at Kim. You decide for yourself, folks.

First she posted a photo of herself from behind that she says was from when she was just 20 years old, before her Brazilian butt-lift procedure. As you can see ... she notes that she's always been a bit thick in the booty area, and was never in "denial" about it when asked.

Hmmm ... OK, go on.

After that, Chaney appears to have thrown up more self-factoids in a list format ... and there, too, one could interpret a little saltiness perhaps being tossed in Kim's direction.

For example ... Chaney says her ethnic background includes mixes of both European and African blood -- explaining she's got roots in West Africa, Nigeria and Ghana. The reason that *could* be significant ... Kim has often been accused of appropriating Black culture, so maybe this is something or maybe not ... could be a totally innocent statement of fact.

There's more ... Chaney goes on to say she's getting her Master's degree and maintaining a 4.0 GPA -- adding she's the COO of a behavioral health org. She also touches on surgery again ... saying she's never had it done on her face, and that she was "born like this." 🤔

It also sounds like Chaney is quite young ... just 24. So yes, both Kim and Kanye are dating hot 20-somethings. The difference -- Pete's not being compared to Ye, but Chaney is absolutely being compared to Kim, as both women do look similar, especially in their bods.

And yet ... Chaney appears to be trying to distinguish herself. Ironically, you might argue the facts she chose to highlight make her seem even more Kim K-ish than even before!

TikTok Chemical Peel Victim I'm Taking Legal Action Against Atlanta Spa, Didn't Do This for Clout

Published

Neyo White went viral after a trip to a Georgia spa turned into a trip from hell ... and now he says he's taking legal action.

In the video, Neyo details what went down Feb 17 ... and how he ended up with burns all over his face after going to a Buckhead spa for a chemical peel. He also makes two things clear -- this isn't a stunt for clout, and he absolutely plans to sue.

Neyo says he had gone to the spa before, to get other facial procedures, to help with discoloration and evenness ... but he wanted to try something a little stronger, so he went in for a chemical peel.

Neyo says he felt burning during the process, but the woman doing the peel assured him that everything was fine. Well, things were not fine ... and 4 days later he ended up with burns and a completely discolored face.

It looks pretty painful, to say the least ... but luckily, we're told he is slowly recovering.

As far as the folks at the spa, Neyo says they haven't responded to him and have denied his Cash App request for a refund on the chemical peel ... so, now he plans to take matters into his own hands.

Neyo plans to sue for his legal bills, medical fees, and Uber payments for his hospital trips. He also wants to be refunded for the $150 chemical peel.

For now, though, he says he is taking his time ... in order to find the right attorney and has started a GoFundMe page.

Senator Lindsey Graham Calls for the Assassination of Putin ... Draws Fire from Both Parties

TAKE HIM OUT

Senator Lindsey Graham has said out loud what lots of people have been wishing, but the reality is ... calling for the assassination of a foreign leader is a dangerous, even reckless game.

Graham appeared on Fox News Thursday and called for someone in Russia to "step up to the plate" ... "The only way this ends is for somebody in Russia to take this guy out. You would be doing your country and the world a great service."

Graham was direct, asking, "Is there a Brutus in Russia? Is there a more successful Colonel Stauffenberg in the Russian military?"

Graham then doubled down in a tweet ... “Unless you want to live in darkness for the rest of your life, be isolated from the rest of the world in abject poverty, and live in darkness you need to step up to the plate."

Putin has become a despised war criminal who is randomly killing innocent civilians, flirting with nuclear reactor disaster and destroying a country. He's also become extremely unstable and paranoid.

UNDER ATTACK

The problem -- several problems -- what Russia and the world could end up with could be even worse. Maybe more to the point ... it's dangerous for American leaders to call for the assassination of a head of state. It's hard to maintain moral high ground when we call for the violent overthrow of another government. We should've learned that from the Bay of Pigs.

Graham's remarks drew fire from both parties. Rep Ilhan Omar tweeted, "I really wish our members of Congress would cool it and regulate their remarks as the administration works to avoid WWlll."

Sen. Ted Cruz echoed the sentiment ... "This is an exceptionally bad idea. Use massive economic sanctions; BOYCOTT Russian oil & gas; and provide military aid so the Ukrainians can defend themselves," Cruz tweeted. "But we should not be calling for the assassination of heads of state."

Sherri Papini Charged with Faking Her Own Kidnapping

3:09 PM PT -- Papini appeared in front of a judge Friday who noted the 2 charges against Papini for making false statements and mail fraud come with a max of 5 years/$250,000 fine and 20 years/$250,000 -- respectfully.

UPDATE

She'll be held in custody until at least Tuesday for her next hearing.

Sherri Papini made national headlines 5 years ago when she was reportedly kidnapped ... well now there's been an arrest -- no, the kidnappers weren't busted ... Sherri was.

The California mom was arrested Thursday night for staging her own disappearance. On top of that, she was charged with fraudulently obtaining tens of thousands of dollars in victim's assistance funds.

INVESTIGATION UNDERWAY

Papini was reported missing in early November 2016 and was later found on Thanksgiving day about 150 miles away from her home. She told law enforcement that she was abducted and held at gunpoint by 2 Hispanic women. She worked with an FBI artist who came up with a sketch of the alleged kidnappers.

Well ... according to the Justice Department's criminal complaint ... the DOJ says she lied about the whole thing and was actually staying with her ex-boyfriend when she claimed she was kidnapped.

On top of that, she allegedly harmed herself to make it look authentic.

In 2020, she doubled down on her story when she was interviewed by the feds ... although she was told that there was evidence to show that her story was a big fat lie.

Papini ended up racking up $30K in victim assistance from the California Victim's Compensation Board from 2017 to 2021 ... which included payments for therapy.

If convicted, she faces a maximum of a quarter-century behind bars.

DISCOUNTED PROCEDURE
The Morning After with Kelly Stafford / ActionPark Media

Matthew Stafford's wife, Kelly, is seriously regretting going under the knife to get a new set of boobs years ago ... saying her experience with the procedure was straight-up horrific.

Kelly detailed her journey on her "The Morning After" podcast this week ... saying she always wanted to have bigger knockers, so she saved up for years to make it happen.

"I just turned 19," Stafford said. "So I went and got a boob job."

Kelly -- who started dating the L.A. Rams QB at the Univ. of Georgia -- said her man was opposed to the move at the time, but she went ahead and did it anyway.

"He was like, 'Do not do it. Please don't do it,' and I was like, 'Listen, love you, but I've wanted this for a long time and this is about me, not about you.'"

Maybe Kelly should have taken his advice ... 'cause she said it ended up being the worst boob job ever.

"It was two balloons on my chest," Kelly said. "It was so, so bad."

Kelly said the botched job was so obvious, Detroit reporters caught on and believed that her then-Lions QB boyfriend must have paid for her implants -- which pissed her off.

"I am independent. I don't need him to buy my boobs. I bought these boobs."

Kelly added, "If he would've bought 'em, they would've been far better!"

Waiting for your permission to load the Instagram Media.

Thankfully, the 32-year-old mother of 4 was able to get them "deflated" a year later, and then eventually redone altogether just a couple years ago.

"They were so bad that it was very evident ... like that looks real bad."

Kelly -- who married Matthew in 2015 -- says even though he was against it, he was very supportive and "sweet" throughout her struggles.

Stafford is now warning anyone looking to make the move -- don't get discounted boobs, or you could go through the same thing.

Gary Payton Shaq Disgustingly Hazed Rookies ... With Vile Bathroom Prank

Published

Shaquille O'Neal was a horrific teammate to rookies back in the day ... so says Gary Payton, who claims the Big Diesel used to pour his waste on guys who were using the bathroom.

Payton, who was Shaq's teammate for one year with the Lakers and then two years with the Heat in the 2000s, explained how the vile acts would go down during a recent interview with Vlad TV.

The Glove said Shaq would go to the bathroom in a bucket "for about a week" -- and then dump it on unsuspecting rookies who were in stalls.

"He would pour it on them," Payton said.

GP didn't identify which rookies were on the receiving end of the disgusting "prank" -- but he said he at least made an effort to get Shaq back for it all.

Payton explained he'd take the former NBA superstar's underwear from time to time, forcing him to "be free-ballin' all the time."

Not quite eye-for-eye in our book ... but we're sure the effort to return the favor to Shaq was at least somewhat appreciated.

Phil Mickelson Callaway Deal Paused In Wake of Controversial Saudi Comments

Published | Updated

Phil Mickelson just lost a major sponsor in the wake of his controversial comments on Saudi Arabia ... and it's one of his oldest partners.

Callaway Golf is pausing their business relationship with the pro golfer and will stop sending him payments.

The golf company says they will reevaluate the partnership at some point in the future ... but for now, they are distancing themselves from Phil.

As you know ... Mickelson is catching a ton of heat for his comments on Saudi Arabia ahead of playing in a new golf league in the country.

Phil played in the league despite saying the country had a "horrible record of human rights."

Phil said ... "We know they killed (Washington Post reporter and U.S. resident Jamal) Khashoggi and have a horrible record on human rights. They execute people over there for being gay. Knowing all of this, why would I even consider it? Because this is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to shape how the PGA Tour operates."

Mickelson apologized for his comments after playing a round in the Saudi league, saying he was taken out of context and his statements were supposed to be off the record ... though he admitted his words were regrettable and offensive.

In his mea culpa, Phil said ... "It was reckless, I offended people, and I am deeply sorry for my choice of words," Mickelson said in his statement. "I'm beyond disappointed and will make every effort to self-reflect and learn from this."

He continued, "My intent was never to hurt anyone and I’m so sorry to the people I have negatively impacted. This has always been about supporting the players and the game and I appreciate all the people who have given me the benefit of the doubt."

Phil also hinted he could take a step away from the game for a while following the firestorm ... including the fact he "desperately" needs "some time away."

Now, Callaway is taking some time away from Mickelson after a 17-year partnership.

AnnaLynne McCord Sorry I Wasn't Your Mother, Prez Putin ... Called Out for Cringe Poetry Amid Ukraine War

POETRY FOR PEACE

AnnaLynne McCord might think she has the perfect response to the Russian invasion of Ukraine -- spoken word poetry -- but she's getting blasted for it.

The former "90210" reboot star's fending off serious backlash after tweeting a more than 2-minute long poem, essentially begging Vladimir Putin for peace. She posted it shortly after Russian forces began the assault, and opens with ... “Dear President Vladimir Putin, I’m so sorry that I was not your mother. I can’t imagine how it feels in your heart, but I know if I was your mother, I would be a start."

AnnaLynne goes on to plead for Putin to put an end to the unbridled aggression, while treating him like one of her own kids. The Internet's response to that is basically ... 9-Ohh no she didn't!!!

Some posted replies directly to Anna include, “Jesus christ the self centeredness of this all is mind numbing” ... and “Just sing ‘Imagine’ next time. It’s easier than whatever this is” -- a reference to Gal Gadot's infamous posting when the COVID-19 pandemic began.

All in all, the poem's been ripped as tone deaf.

On the opposite end of the spectrum ... Sean Penn's been praised by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky for his presence within the country.

As we reported, Sean is there shooting a documentary in hopes of shining a light on the conflict. President Zelenskyy says Sean is showing "courage and honesty" -- characteristics he says many western politicians are lacking ... a clear shot at the U.S and other European nations' refusal to intercede.

As we've reported, Russia is attacking Ukraine on the ground and from the air -- fighter jets have started bombing runs on or near residential homes.

The reported death toll is already near 60.

Priyanka Chopra Try Googling My Name, Rosie ... For Your 'Sincere Apology'

Published | Updated

Priyanka Chopra's finally speaking out about that awkward encounter with Rosie O'Donnell, -- and a subsequent apology -- and it's clear she's offended Rosie couldn't even say her name.

ICYMI ... Rosie posted a video talking about running into Priyanka and Nick Jonas at Nobu in Malibu, where she embarrassingly claimed she knew Priyanka's father, Deepak Chopra. Oops! That ain't her dad.

022422_rosie_odonnell_kal
CHOPRA CONFUSION

Rosie then attempted to apologize, but only referred to Priyanka as "the Chopra wife."

Priyanka's response at least starts on the high road, as she says ... "I have never taken myself so seriously to think everyone would know who I am, or my work for that matter."

But, it quickly becomes evident she's peeved -- she continues, "If you wanted to  make a public apology for a very awkward private encounter, I think probably best to take the time to google my name before doing it."

As for Rosie never even saying her name, she says ... "We ALL deserve to be respected for our unique individuality and not be referred to as 'someone' or 'wife' especially in a sincere apology." Burn.

Maybe the best suggestion Priyanka makes to Rosie was to simply "reach out directly" ... instead of doing it on social media. That's a novel idea.

BTW ... Priyanka never says Rosie's name in her post. Intentional?

Tennis Star Alexander Zverev Attacks Umpire's Chair With Racket ... Disqualified From Mexican Open

Published
UPDATE

8:08 AM PT -- Zverev has issued an apology for his actions ... calling them "wrong and unacceptable." Zverev added that he apologized to the the chair umpire.

UPDATE

"I am going to take the coming days to reflect - on my actions and how I can ensure that it will not happen again," Zverev said. "I am sorry for letting you down."

Tennis star Alexander Zverev was disqualified from the Mexican Open this week ... after he repeatedly attacked an umpire's chair during a wild meltdown.

It all started after the third set of Zverev and Marcelo Melo's doubles match against Lloyd Glasspool and Harri Heliovaara on Tuesday.

Zverev got frustrated after his opponents -- who had been leading in the final set -- logged an ace for match point ... which he felt shouldn't have counted.

That's when AZ totally lost it -- screaming expletives in frustration, storming over to the umpire's chair and smashing it with his tennis racket.

In the video, you can see one of Alexander's strikes almost catches the official in the foot. Fortunately, he wasn't hit as a result of the temper tantrum.

The incident came with a price ... as the ATP Tour announced Zverev will not be allowed to compete in the remainder of the tournament.

"Due to unsportsmanlike conduct at the conclusion of his doubles match on Tuesday night, Alexander Zverev has been withdrawn from the tournament in Acapulco," the tour said in a statement on its official Twitter account.

Silver lining?? Zverev gave his destroyed racket to a fan in the crowd. Souvenir!!

It's possible the ATP tour could discipline Alex further ... and a suspension could be on the table for the world's #3 tennis player.

Phil Mickelson My Saudi Comments Were Out Of Context ... But 'I Am Deeply Sorry'

UPDATE

3:34 PM PT -- One of Mickelson's biggest sponsors, accounting giant KPMG, announced it has "mutually agreed" to part ways with the golfer following the controversy.

UPDATE

"We wish him the best," KPMG officials said in a statement.

Phil Mickelson says the insensitive comments he made recently about a new Saudi golf league were taken "out of context and without my consent" ... but the golf star is still issuing a mea culpa nonetheless.

Phil broke it all down in a lengthy statement on his social media page Tuesday ... just days after he admitted to supporting the formation of a new Saudi golf league, despite what he called the country's "horrible record of human rights."

"We know they killed (Washington Post reporter and U.S. resident Jamal) Khashoggi and have a horrible record on human rights," Mickelson said, according to The Fire Pit Collective.

"They execute people over there for being gay. Knowing all of this, why would I even consider it? Because this is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to shape how the PGA Tour operates."

Phil went on to say that he believed the new Saudi league -- which was reportedly trying to sway top American golfers with millions of dollars in cash -- could force big and necessary changes on the PGA Tour.

While Phil said Tuesday the comments were "off record" and out of context -- he admitted that the words were offensive and regrettable regardless.

Phil then hinted he could take a step away from the game for a while following the controversy ... saying he "desperately" needs "some time away."

We should note ... Phil's worked hard to change the game over the years, including a revamp of the US Ryder Cup system and helped to create the Player Impact Program ... a monumental moment for player pay.

Junior Hockey Cops Investigating Player ... After Violent Ref Punch

Published | Updated

Cops tell TMZ Sports they are investigating the junior hockey player who violently punched a referee during a game in Massachusetts on Sunday.

A spokesperson for the Foxborough Police Dept. confirmed on Tuesday that cops were called to the Foxborough Sports Center at around 2:22 PM on Sunday after a member of the South Shore Kings had unloaded a right hand into the face of a ref in the middle of a game.

Cops tell us they have yet to determine if there is a "criminal element" ... but did say they are aware of the video of the punch and are currently interviewing all of the involved parties.

"At this time no further information will be released," the spokesperson said, "as it is still under investigation."

As we previously reported, the United States Premier Hockey League hit the player with a lifetime ban from its league over the punch.

"The action taken today by a USPHL player is completely unacceptable in the USPHL," the league's commissioner said in a statement following the incident, "The USPHL has zero-tolerance for any player striking any official, at any time."
