Redskins Su'a Cravens' Mom I'll Make Him Wear Cowboys Gear ... For Ignoring My Calls

9/16/2016 1:27 PM PDT BY TMZ STAFF
EXCLUSIVE

Washington Redskins rookie Su'a Cravens is about to find out why he should NEVER ignore his mom's phone calls ... even if she's a fan of his team's rival.

Cravens told reporters earlier this week that he was preparing for his first matchup with the Dallas Cowboys by shutting down all communication with his mom -- a DIE-HARD supporter of America's Team.

Yolanda Cravens -- who admits she's slowly transitioning into a 'Skins fan -- tells us there will be consequences for Su'a's antics if the Redskins aren't victorious.

"If the Cowboys win, he has to wear something Cowboys. I don't know, they might throw tomatoes at him if he does that."

As for the Redskins drafting Su'a ... Yolanda says there's only one team she REALLY didn't want to select him ... and her reaction is hilarious.

Check out the clip ... and call your mama, Su'a!

Draya Michele says you might not see the second coming of her fiance, Orlando Scandrick, in the NFL ... 'cause unless the league addresses its concussion issue their son WON'T be playing.

Draya -- who welcomed a baby boy with the Cowboys CB back in April -- was out with the girls at Ysabel in L.A. when we asked about how things are going with the brand new baby.

She told us Orlando is in full daddy day care mode -- diapers and all -- but when we brought up a potential future in football for the tyke ... Draya went all mommy on us saying she's not sure it's safe.

Check out the clip ... she's making sense.

Tony Romo Building Insanely Expensive Mansion in Dallas

9/13/2016 12:45 AM PDT BY TMZ STAFF
EXCLUSIVE

0912_tony_romo_house_launchTony Romo's upgrading in Dallas in a BIG way ... he's building a massive new home in a prestigious gated community ... and TMZ Sports has pics of the pad.

The Dallas Cowboys QB's new home is under construction on a 3 ACRE plot of land he purchased a few years back.

According to tax records, the land alone was valued at more than $4 MILLION when it was assessed in 2014.

As for the home itself, it looks huge ... public documents show it will boast 7 bedrooms, 7 bathrooms, 2 wet bars, 2 fireplaces, a pool with a cabana and much, much more!

Our sources say construction is about 3/4 of the way done.

Romo has listed his other Texas home -- a 5,551 square foot mansion for $1.05 million ... so we're guessing he plans to move in pretty soon.

Just think ... this is what you get to look forward to, Dak Prescott.

Despite the expert analysis -- and his guest appearance in the booth during "Thursday Night Football" -- Manning says he's not planning to get into broadcasting.

... at least, not yet.

Vegas Murder Suspect Breaks Handcuffs, Escapes Police ... In Ezekiel Elliott Jersey

9/8/2016 9:04 AM PDT BY TMZ STAFF

This is insane footage of a murder suspect breaking his handcuffs and escaping a Las Vegas police station on Friday ... while wearing an Ezekiel Elliott jersey.

The Cowboys fan is Alonso Perez -- who was arrested for allegedly murdering a man who didn't hold the door open for a woman at a McDonald's.

Perez was handcuffed and left alone at the Detective Bureau -- with no guard watching over him.

So, Perez used his body weight to twist the chain connecting the cuffs ... and pushed so hard, it eventually snapped.

He then used his chair to climb into the rafters and escaped the building ... then stole a truck that was left running nearby.

Fortunately, cops were able to locate Perez on Tuesday and he's now back in police custody.

North Las Vegas Police Chief Alexander Perez spoke to the media about the situation ... saying, "We're not perfect. The police are simply not perfect. However, we will learn from our mistakes so they are not repeated and that's the goal."

Dallas Cowboys Ezekiel Elliott Cleared in Domestic Violence Case

9/6/2016 1:32 PM PDT BY TMZ STAFF
EXCLUSIVE

0722-ezekiel-elliott-tmz-7Ezekiel Elliott will not face any charges for allegedly assaulting his ex-girlfriend ... TMZ Sports has learned.

The Columbus, OH City Attorney says there were inconsistent details about what the woman claimed were 5 separate incidents from July 17 to July 22 -- and as a result prosecutors felt there wasn't enough evidence to bring a case against the Cowboys running back.

The City Attorney says Elliott and his attorneys fully cooperated with the investigation. In his statement to police, Elliott said the woman told him, "I am going to ruin your career, you have messed with the wrong person!"

0906-ezekiel-elliott-statement-doc-launch-01Prosecutors released a bunch of photos showing bruises on the woman, which she claimed Elliott inflicted. The City Attorney Office says it tried to determine the source of the injuries.

They're not saying it, but it appears prosecutors couldn't find enough evidence to pin it on Elliott. According to docs, Elliott told police the bruises were from a fight she'd had with someone else at a nightclub.

Elliott has always maintained the woman was NOT a girlfriend ... just someone with whom he had a "sexual relationship."

Dak Prescott's H.S. Coach No Romo? No Problem! He's Always Game Ready

8/31/2016 12:35 AM PDT BY TMZ STAFF
EXCLUSIVE

0830_Dak-Prescott_cowboys_gettyChill out, Cowboys fans ... 'cause rookie backup QB Dak Prescott will have NO PROBLEM filling in for injured star Tony Romo, despite his inexperience ... his old H.S. coach says.

TMZ Sports spoke with Rodney Guin -- Prescott's football coach at Haughton High in Louisiana -- who says the rest of the world might be shocked by D.P.'s play ... but he ain't.

FYI -- Prescott's played at a RIDICULOUS level through the first 3 preseason games ... racking up 7 TDs (5 passing, 2 rushing) and 0 INTs on more than 500 total yards.

“Dak always prided himself in being ready to play," Guin told us. "He was the most prepared guy on the team ... he was a leader in practice, he earned the respect of all the older players and I can see him doing that on a professional level."

“I’m not really surprised by his great start. I always knew he would be successful, but it is impressive to see him play so well so early.”

In other words, maybe all hope isn't lost for Cowboys fans ...

MAYBE.

Ezekiel Elliott Weed Shop Was 'Bad Decision' ... I Was Curious

8/29/2016 10:42 AM PDT BY TMZ STAFF
Breaking News

Ezekiel Elliott says he didn't think he was doing anything wrong by visiting a recreational weed shop in Seattle before the Seahawks game last week ... but says it was ultimately a "bad decision."

TMZ Sports broke the story ... the 21-year-old rookie running back hit up Herban Legends -- which LEGALLY sells weed for recreational purposes to people 21 and older.

"It was a bad decision," Elliott said (via Clarence Hill of the Star-Telegram) ... "Just seen it walking around. Was curious."

"I didn't really think about it before I went in, what the repercussions could have been. It wasn't like I was trying to hide it or anything."

"I took pictures with people. It wasn't like I was up to no good."

0825_ezekiel-elliot_weed-shop_sports_wmAs we reported, Elliott did not purchase anything or smoke anything while inside the shop.

Still, Cowboys owner Jerry Jones was pissed -- calling the visit "not good."

Elliott says he apologized to Cowboys management -- and claims he's learned a valuable lesson.

"You definitely got to think of the perception of things before you actually do certain things ... It may not seem like it's a big deal to you yourself but there is a bigger picture."

Jerry Jones Ezekiel's Pot Shop Visit ... 'Not Good'

8/26/2016 5:50 AM PDT BY TMZ STAFF
Breaking News

0825-jerry-jones-ezekiel-elliott-TMZ-01Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones says he ain't happy with his running back Ezekiel Elliott -- saying his decision to visit a Seattle weed store before the Seahawks game is "not good."

TMZ Sports broke the story ... the 21-year-old rookie visited the Herban Legends recreational weed dispensary -- which is fully LEGAL in the Seattle area.

Our sources say Elliott did NOT buy or smoke anything in the store -- but the fact he was there didn't sit well with his boss.

"Well, I think that in and of itself the reason we are talking about it is in a way part of the learning process," Jones said about the pics to the Star-Telegram after Thursday night's game.

"But it's not good. It's just not good. It's just not good."

Despite the visit, Elliott played pretty well during the game -- racking up 48 yards on 7 carries ... with some pretty bullish runs.

Still, Jones says, there's a lesson Elliott needs to learn.

"No matter if you played at whatever level there is a picture here of interest. So again, I’m aware of it. I heard the report and I would know how he is. And he needs to look at that and the other thing is it’s just not good. I don’t want to say anymore. I do want us do things that in general while it may not be wrong it’s just not good."

Ezekiel Elliott Marijuana Tourist ... During Seattle Road Trip

8/25/2016 3:59 PM PDT BY TMZ STAFF
EXCLUSIVE

When in Seattle ... check out the LEGAL recreational weed shops -- that's what Dallas Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott did before preparing to play the Seahawks.

The 21-year-old rookie hit up the Herban Legends weed shop in Belltown -- a 5 minute drive from the Space Needle -- where he checked out some of the merchandise Thursday afternoon.

For the record ... our sources tell us they did NOT see Elliott make any sort of a purchase -- and we're told it's VERY common for tourists to just browse the weed shops while visiting town.

0825_ezekiel-elliot_weed-shop_sports_wmElliott didn't seem like he was hiding or embarrassed to be there -- and even posed for pics with fans outside the shop.

Despite the fact it's legal in Seattle, weed is still outlawed in the NFL -- and players who test positive for marijuana could be suspended.

We reached out to the Cowboys for comment -- so far, no word back.

Dallas Cowboys 'No Chance' We Sign Manziel ... He's Too Messed Up

8/12/2016 9:11 AM PDT BY TMZ STAFF
Breaking News

0811-manziel-gettyThe Dallas Cowboys are making it clear ... they will NOT sign Johnny Manziel to backup Tony Romo this year, no matter how desperate they get.

Johnny claims he's laser-focused on an NFL comeback -- and recently told TMZ Sports he wants to play for the Cowboys.

But Cowboys Executive Vice President Stephen Jones -- Jerry's son -- called into the Tiki and Tierney Show on CBS Radio and said there's "no chance" they make a move for Johnny.

"Obviously Johnny needs to get his hands around his life," Jones said.

"He needs to do the things that make him a good person off the field, I think, before he can ever have any chance of being successful in our league."

"He's a guy obviously from Texas that we've all followed and had an amazing career there at A&M. Unfortunately, he has some things that are holding him back not only as a football player, but as a person in life."

"I hope he is able to get his hands around his life, and at some point if he does, I'm sure he'll get another chance. But at the moment, it certainly won't be in Dallas."
